I am encountering issues while attempting to electronically file my Federal (small business product) and KS state returns. The program is indicating errors related to Child Care Expenses, but I do not have these expenses and they are not listed in my deductions. Despite multiple attempts, I cannot proceed as the system requests dollar amounts and SSN for nonexistent information. In my State return, it falsely claims I have 2 school districts listed, which is inaccurate due to the dropdown menu design. I have had difficulty moving forward despite selecting one school. I am past the filing deadline, although I have paid for the products and spent an hour trying to resolve the issue. I am seeking assistance over the phone to address this problem and ensure my filing is processed on time.

I submitted my taxes in March [redacted] and later amended them on March 17, [redacted]. It has been well over the 12-16 weeks timeframe, far exceeding 6 weeks. While I received my state refund, my federal refund has not arrived yet. I have been patient, but time is crucial for me. Despite researching and checking the IRS website for my amended return, no information is available. I also contacted TurboTax since I filed electronically through them, but the outcome remains the same. This delay is a significant concern causing a major setback. I urgently need clarity on the status of my return, the anticipated wait time, or whether it was used to offset my student loan debt. If my federal refund was applied to my student loans, it should have cleared my minimal debt. However, this is not the case. Would appreciate prompt updates on this matter.

I am interested in using Turbotax to file for the tax year [redacted] with my [redacted] income. However, currently, I am using a laptop from my school library as my own laptop is undergoing repairs, and there's uncertainty if I can download the Turbotax software on this laptop. I am reluctant to proceed with payment using my credit card without confirmation. I am concerned about getting a refund should the system fail to allow the download on the rental laptop. On October 21st, I purchased tax software for $79.00 for my MacBook, which lacks the necessary updates. As a result, I encountered a serious issue and couldn't use the software. I am requesting a refund to be processed to my account. My email is [redacted] I have faced multiple rejections from customer service, as they only assist advanced members for a fee of $29.99, which was unexpected. I have now resorted to reaching out to technical support for help. I am in urgent need of a prompt response as I am behind on doing my mother's taxes. I am experiencing issues with my TurboTax Intuit Turbo debit card. It is not allowing me to withdraw cash from ATMs or make purchases, even though I am using the correct PIN. When trying to input my birth year on the website, it is time-consuming due to having to scroll from the current date back to [redacted]. The customer service number on the back of the card has been unhelpful, leading to circular prompts. One representative mentioned my card has never been frozen, but I am still unable to use it. Additionally, there is an unauthorized charge of $10 from a vendor identified as Hamilton on my account.

We purchased TurboTax Home & Business CD for [redacted] and started our tax return, but lacked some essential [redacted] forms, leading us to file an extension. We have successfully used the CD and online versions for over 15 years and easily did our children's returns this year. However, we are now unable to access any returns. Even though we found the [redacted] software on our computer, we can't open it or the returns. We're confused as we have always saved them and need to complete our filing quickly. Despite researching extensively on your website and trying various solutions, we remain stuck. Given TurboTax's reputation for saving data, we hope for assistance, especially since our business return is complex. Restarting is not ideal. It's frustrating that the software is blocking access to our returns when many others have faced similar challenges. We appreciate any help.

I recently received a notice from the IRS regarding my federal tax return for [redacted]. They pointed out that my reported income did not match what I had earned. Upon reviewing my 2[redacted] form, I noticed that all my pensions totaling $42,[redacted] were correctly added on line 16a, but the TurboTax program only entered $21,[redacted] on line 16b, causing an underreporting of income. Despite my attempts to explain this issue to a TurboTax representative, I was met with rudeness and not provided with a satisfactory solution. Now, the State Franchise Board is asking for an additional $[redacted] due to this mistake. I relied on TurboTax to accurately input my information and am now facing unexpected financial burdens as a result of this error. I had to refinance my home to pay the IRS $6,[redacted], and now I owe the State $2,[redacted].82 because of the incorrect entry on line 16b. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

We submitted our [redacted] Income Tax Return ([redacted]) using TurboTax, a process we have utilized for over 15 years. The IRS recently notified us of a discrepancy in the total social security amount reported on Line 20(a) of the form. The tax return indicates $32,[redacted] on Line 20(a), while the SSA statement reflects $35,[redacted]. The IRS has requested an amended tax return to rectify this inconsistency, prompting us to seek clarification on the following matters: 1. We recall inputting $35,[redacted] as the total S.S. receipt when using TurboTax. We are uncertain how this value was altered to $32,[redacted] and request an investigation into this discrepancy. 2. Regardless, we understand the necessity of amending the tax return through TurboTax. We are uncertain if there are any filing fees associated with this process, as the initial tax return was filed free of charge through Fidelity Investments. I have been attempting to sign in a few times with both my old and new passwords, but after trying to log in with the new password, my account got locked. I have reached out for support, providing Reference Case # [redacted]75 and TurboTax Advantage Account # [redacted], however, I have not been able to get the help I need. I am 82 years old and have difficulty hearing, making phone conversations challenging for me to comprehend. Email or remote help would be greatly appreciated. My ISP is atte.net and my user ID is [redacted] Although I was able to reset my password, I am still unable to sign in. I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue promptly so that I can receive my refund and return the Deluxe CD.

Upon obtaining a new license, I faced an unexpected hurdle as the provided name did not match the records, even with correct punctuation. Opting to resolve through paper filing, I encountered further challenges where another license was consumed but the return remained unsubmitted. Frustation mounts as two licenses were paid for with no progress. Despite printing error-free copies, the issue persists. A few months ago, I purchased TT Incorporated. After completing it, I attempted to e-file but was rejected due to a discrepancy in the start date. Upon review, I found the error just before finishing. Despite correcting it, my license was depleted before submitting anything. Following my boss's advice, I obtained another license, only to find that the name provided did not match the CRA records. Even after including all dots, the CRA found no errors. Despite trying to paper file, another license was used, and the return remained incomplete. This frustrating experience led to us purchasing two licenses without making any progress. We printed a copy, which showed no errors. I kindly request a reimbursement for one license, a new one issued, and guidance on resolving an error that seems invisible to everyone. - Liz N

I submitted my taxes on 3/28/18 and was puzzled as to why I hadn't received my Federal Return for months. In September, I checked Turbo Tax and discovered that my returns were rejected. I promptly corrected the error and resubmitted. My Federal Return was scheduled to arrive on 10/11/18 but has not been received. I paid my state taxes by mail in September, assuming I had settled everything in March when Turbo Tax didn't show any issues. Unfortunately, I was penalized by the state and had to resend the payment. The state payment is now settled, but I'm still waiting for my Federal Return. Please contact me tomorrow to discuss this matter further.

I used TurboTax to file my [redacted] tax return but had to visit the local IRS office to resolve an issue. TurboTax was supposed to complete my return within 4 to 8 weeks after receiving the information from the IRS. It has been 2 months, and I haven't received any updates on my refund amount or whether it will be deposited onto my TurboTax card. I keep receiving notifications that my credit card payment has been declined, even though I updated my details weeks ago. The latest message I got says: "Final Notice: Your credit card was declined. Please update your credit card information today so we can process your order." When I log into my account, my credit card details are correct. Could you please address this issue? Thank you. I was relieved to learn from the IRS on May 2nd that my refund was deposited in a Green Dot account. However, I am disappointed that in December I still haven't received it. I never chose this option, as I provided correct direct deposit information for my bank account. I have not received any emails from TurboTax or Green Dot regarding this matter. I urgently request for my refund to be transferred to my bank account promptly and an explanation for this error. Despite using TurboTax for years without issues, I cannot reach anyone on the phone at either company, making it a frustrating experience. The lack of email support from both companies is unacceptable.

I filed my [redacted] personal taxes using the Turbotax website on April 12, [redacted]. However, when I tried to retrieve my saved printout on my flash drive, I couldn't locate my tax information from Turbotax. Strangely, the website is indicating that 1800taxpro completed my taxes on their platform. I am currently embroiled in a legal dispute regarding the handling of my taxes by 1800taxpro, as I need to prove that I had already filed them myself and they were originally on Turbotax since April 12, [redacted]. While mistakenly dialing a wrong number for Turbotax support on April 17th, I inadvertently reached 1800taxpro who then proceeded to charge me over $[redacted] for preparing my 1040EZ, an unnecessary duplication of my earlier work with Turbotax. It appears that the confusion arose because I forgot to hit the submit button on my Turbotax filing, leading to unnecessary services by 1800taxpro on April 17th.

I have encountered problems concerning a dependent, H. Swena, on my [redacted] tax filing. Even though it was his father's turn to claim him, TurboTax's prompts caused confusion by including him as a qualifying dependent on my return. This created difficulties for his father's filing, leading to the IRS mistakenly flagging that my son was claimed by both of us. Therefore, I am uncertain if I should have listed him as a qualifying dependent on my tax return, given the prearranged agreement. Can you advise on what the problem might be?

I bought TurboTax Deluxe for Tax Years [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. Due to issues with my Mac, I had to purchase TurboTax [redacted] multiple times and had to download a fix. Now, with a new Mac that doesn't have a disk drive, I need the online versions of [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. Can I get these versions as soon as possible? Hello everyone, I've been married for 13 years and have always filed taxes jointly with my spouse who used to work in IT. Even though I have paid for daycare, health insurance for myself and my two kids, as well as all our essential expenses like medication, clothes, and groceries, my spouse has claimed the kids as dependents. I lost my IT job 3 years ago after working there for 8 years, and found out about my spouse's affair with a maternal cousin. I am staying in the marriage for my kids but plan to leave when the time is right. Recently, I started a seasonal online job providing Best Buy support from home and no longer wish to file taxes jointly. I have been paying state and Medicare taxes based on this job. I have a few questions about filing separately while still married and whether I need to file federal taxes, only state and Medicare taxes, how to specify I am a seasonal employee, and what the implications are if I continue to be married and file separately. My gross income for [redacted] from the seasonal job is around $[redacted].92 from September to December, and I have paid state and Medicare taxes. In [redacted], I filed my taxes for the first time and received my federal return, but my state refund never arrived. Concerned, I'm now in December 26, [redacted], and it still hasn't shown up. In [redacted], I filed again and received my state refund this time, but my federal refund is still missing, even today. After contacting the local IRS office, they mentioned discrepancies in my addresses but nothing has been resolved despite providing all my information. Feeling frustrated, I haven't pursued it further. I hope someone can assist me in retrieving the money I rightfully earned.
