We utilized your services for our tax filing last year and arranged a $1,[redacted] monthly payment plan, which we unexpectedly paid off after the initial $1,[redacted] installment. We are interested in setting up a similar payment structure for this year's taxes. I recall some mention in the terms and conditions about potential limitations on repeating this payment method annually. Can we proceed with monthly debits from our account for this year's taxes as we did before? We prefer this method and hope it is allowable. We value your assistance in clarifying this matter. Thank you.

Hello TurboTax,
I have been a long-time user of TurboTax and encountered a peculiar issue as I reached the end of the program to file my taxes. This unexpected error prevented me from e-filing. I am in urgent need of assistance to resolve this matter promptly so I can successfully file my taxes. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing difficulty entering my APO address to process a return. An error message appears stating my zip code does not match my city and state, even though I have entered my billing address accurately. The system does not recognize "AE" as a state when entering my complete APO address. I have put in the effort to complete the return process, but now I am unable to proceed. I urgently need assistance in resolving this issue to successfully file my return. My address and billing information for my bank account are as follows: PSC * Box ****, APO AE *****. Thank you for your prompt help in enabling me to input my APO address for filing.

I encountered an issue while filing our [redacted] taxes using Turbo-Tax. The Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for my spouse did not show up, so it was inadvertently left out of the filing. While filling out my portion successfully, the "NEXT" step usually prompts me for my spouse's information, including the additional RMD, which was then missed and needs to be rectified. Unfortunately, I am unable to access my [redacted] as each time I enter my access code, it changes too quickly for me to return to the form, indicating it's no longer valid. I attempted this unsuccessfully six times. Moreover, I received a notification for the SC state tax requiring an SC [redacted] signed and dated form, which I never received. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted]. - C. Siehl

Hello,
My spouse resides in New York but commutes to New Jersey for work, which led to the need for us to file both a New Jersey and New York tax return for [redacted]. Despite using the Business & Deluxe edition that I buy annually, I encountered a popup message indicating I had to buy the state version. I proceeded with the purchase of both New York and New Jersey (Order #TTDC[redacted]6). However, upon revisiting the program and attempting to complete my return, I was prompted to make an additional payment to file the New Jersey return. I was under the impression that purchasing the state would cover all fees. Since I have already submitted my return due to time constraints, could you please investigate this matter and provide clarification?
Please let me know if you require any further information.
Thank you,
Reanna

Hello, I utilized your tax filing service for my state (OR) and federal taxes in January. Recently, on 3/21, I received an email with a "CRITICAL NOTICE" subject line. The email stated there was a calculation error on TurboTax's part resulting in an underpayment of $[redacted] to the state of Oregon. They are requesting an amended return. I prefer to speak with a human representative; however, I am required to purchase an additional "Help and Tools" package for $30. I'm perplexed by the situation. Why am I liable for TurboTax's mistake? Is there no form of insurance to protect clients in situations like this? I yearly trust TurboTax with my taxes to avoid such errors. Why should I pay $30 just to speak to a representative after this incident? I expect a timely response from a knowledgeable individual at TurboTax. I have provided my email and phone number, [redacted].

I have been using TurboTax for the past four years without any issues. However, this year, despite updating my new address to [redacted] Crouse Street, Akron, Ohio [redacted] on both my IRS income tax form and TurboTax account, the TurboTax prepaid card company sent my card to my old address twice. I am frustrated as I still do not have access to my funds. I urgently need my money by the end of this week. Every time I contact them, I keep getting the same issue. I have already provided proof of my current address through my Rent-A-Center bill and ID. This continued mistake is causing unnecessary stress, and I want it resolved promptly.

I have been using the Turbo Free Edition for the past six years. However, I encountered an issue regarding the dependent tax question this year. The software is indicating that I am not eligible for the dependent credit, which is confusing. When I clicked on the link to understand why I am not eligible, it lists all the reasons why my son, J., should be eligible, which has been the case for the past six years without any changes. This inconsistency is causing a delay in completing my taxes since the software seems to contradict itself by declaring me both eligible and ineligible for the same question. I would appreciate any guidance on this matter to help me resolve the issue promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been a loyal user of TurboTax for many years. This tax season, I required two state income tax forms. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties with the DC form. Specifically, when selecting 'married filing separately on same DC return,' Calculation J is required, but it was not included in the downloaded version. Additionally, choosing 'part-time resident' did not properly adjust the W-2 and other income values based on the time spent in DC. Despite spending hours researching possible solutions, I was unable to use the program to file my DC taxes. Due to these issues, I kindly request a refund for the cost of the download. Thank you, Paul.

Dear TurboTax Team,
I am writing to inform you that the email address [redacted] belongs to me. I have previously filed joint taxes using TurboTax. However, the account associated with this email belongs to a deceased individual for whom I filed taxes last year. Receiving these emails meant for the deceased is distressing, and I kindly request that you update your records accordingly. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I have recently submitted my Federal and NJ tax returns. I bought software from Amazon on March 12, and downloaded it on the same day. To my surprise, I was charged an extra $49.99 for my NJ return after spending hours inputting information. I paid to avoid losing the work I had completed. The receipt shows I paid for Turbo Tax Deluxe + State [redacted]. I tried to minimize entries for NJ and Fed due to moving during [redacted]. Although I only sent a simple form to Delaware, the software kept prompting me to add it. I never filed for Delaware. I request a refund for the extra $49.99 and the $24.99 NJ filing fee. Misleading advertising claiming the State return is included is disappointing. The experience has left me dissatisfied with the software. - M. Young

I designate half of my home as a rental apartment, listed under multifamily (type 2) on schedule E. When entering my mortgage interest and property tax in Intuit TurboTax, the software instructed me to input [redacted]% of the amounts, with it handling the calculation. However, upon reviewing my printed tax forms, I noticed an error. The deductions were 1.5 times the actual amounts because TurboTax added [redacted]% of each figure along with 50% of the same figure instead of splitting the deductions between Schedule E and Schedule A. This resulted in reporting [redacted]% of my property tax and mortgage interest on Schedule A, which seems incorrect. If the software expects users to determine the rental unit percentage themselves, it should not prompt for [redacted]% input and should not allow the same deductions under personal expenses.

I am in need of assistance with locating, finalizing, and submitting an old tax return that I had initiated but never finished and submitted.
I attempted to use the CD/Download tax software I believed I had previously bought, but it indicates that I do not have any downloads accessible.
Subsequently, I tried to buy and download the software; however, when I select the product for purchase, I receive an error message saying: "Whoops! We encountered an issue loading your data. Please try again." Despite multiple attempts, I continue to encounter the same error. I require guidance in understanding why I am unable to download the software successfully.
Furthermore, once I manage to download the software, I anticipate requiring assistance in retrieving all the details from my partially completed return.
Thank you for your support in this matter.

I was supposed to receive a 50% discount on my federal filing, but it wasn't applied. Then, when I was almost done filing my taxes online, I was informed that I couldn't e-file and had to mail my documents instead, which I prefer not to do. I just want a refund of $[redacted] since I won't be using TurboTax for my [redacted] taxes. Thank you for your help with this matter. My confirmation number is TTWC[redacted]5, dated March 27, [redacted]. Sincerely, Craig Robichaux.

Hello! During my internship in Miami Beach, Florida from Nov. 2[redacted], I requested my W2 to be sent to my current home address in the Philippines. I received it in late January and processed it in March through TurboTax. To proceed, I needed to upgrade to their "premium" service for $59.99, which I did. However, when I tried to pay the $[redacted] federal tax and file my e-file, it got rejected multiple times. Now, I am unable to complete my tax return and am considering filing with an accountant. Could I please receive a refund for the "premium" upgrade since I was unsuccessful in filing my return through TurboTax? I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.

Turbotax Dissatisfaction March 31, [redacted]
I have been a loyal Turbotax user for many years. This tax season for [redacted], however, has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating for me. I opted for the Premier service on February 25, [redacted], paying $89.98 (Order number: TTWC[redacted]1). While trying to complete my taxes on March 2, [redacted], I unexpectedly encountered additional $15 fees with no clear explanation from multiple customer service representatives. Despite a supervisor eventually crediting my account for the fees, the whole situation was confusing and time-consuming.
After setting up a payment for my federal taxes through Turbotax, I experienced delays and lack of clarity on when the payment would be processed. Frustratingly, I had to make the payment through my bank account to avoid penalties. Regrettably, Turbotax still processed a double payment on March 20, [redacted], causing financial inconvenience and leaving me with the burden of seeking a refund from the IRS.
In light of these challenges, I am requesting a full refund of the $89.96 Premier service fee paid on 2/25/[redacted]. I hope to hear from Turbotax regarding my refund request.
Thank you,
A. Perkins

I am experiencing issues with the [redacted] TurboTax software while filing my federal, Virginia State, and Maryland State taxes.
For the federal check error, TurboTax prompts me to input source amounts when foreign taxes are paid, which was an issue in the [redacted] version as well. The workarounds suggested in the article are not applicable in [redacted], so I had to skip the error. This issue needs to be resolved.
Regarding Virginia State taxes, the step-by-step process does not allow for adjustments of Federal Information based on some state tax forms. I couldn't enter my Virginia State K-1 information (VK1's). Although I found the VK1 Form with only a few items resembling the paper form, I had to manually solve the problem.
In Maryland State, I faced a similar problem with entering my Maryland K-1s ([redacted]) as the step-by-step process did not prompt me to adjust Federal Information according to some state tax forms. Unlike Virginia State, there was no Maryland K-1 form available. The workaround I found was a general addition and subtraction box, prone to errors without the specific category information on the tax forms. This issue needs addressing, and I am looking for a better way to input my Maryland K-1 information.

We are using TurboTax Home and Business in Pennsylvania and are struggling with our state return. We have three LLCs, one in PA and two in another state, but only the PA LLC should be included in the PA return. However, all three LLCs are showing up in the state return. Last year, we mistakenly included the out-of-state LLCs on the PA return. We plan to file an amended return to correct this, but for now, we need to remove the out-of-state LLCs from the [redacted] PA return. How can we easily eliminate the two out-of-state LLCs from TurboTax for the current and future filings? Thank you for your assistance.
