I encountered some trouble with my password while trying to start my [redacted] return. It took 42 minutes on the phone with support to resolve the issue, but now all my previous returns seem to have vanished. I urgently need to amend my [redacted] return, and time is running out to submit it. I suspect this issue is related to the password. In the past, TurboTax allowed me to log in with either my original ID or email. However, it now only accepts my original ID. Despite trying my email and the last password I remember, it won't recognize my email address. I have PDF copies of my tax returns from TurboTax for the years 2[redacted].

I made an error while filing my income taxes by mistakenly submitting a charge for filing to Indiana when it was not required. I reached out to Discover for assistance and they provided me with Intuit's phone number, but unfortunately, I am unable to reach anyone without an account and incident number. I plan to dispute the charge with Discover due to this honest mistake and will only be paying for the e-filing to Nebraska. Please contact me at [redacted] and ask for Marcy. Thank you.

I believe TurboTax engaged in deceptive practices to gain my approval for processing my taxes through a third-party company TPG, resulting in unnecessary and excessive fees. TurboTax made it seem like using the third-party service was the only choice, when direct deposit was an option without these charges. Additionally, TurboTax erroneously charged me for the deluxe package which I neither agreed to nor required. I have not received any information about the status of my pending state taxes. I am very disappointed with TurboTax's service and will not be using it in the future. I will also be cautioning others against using it. This experience feels like a dishonest scheme.

When attempting to begin my [redacted] tax return on TurboTax, I encountered an issue with my password not being accepted. It appears the problem arose because my login ID was still set to my original ID used since [redacted]. Previously, during filing my taxes for prior years, I had switched to using my email address as advised by TurboTax on the sign-in page. However, when I attempted to start my [redacted] return, it only allowed me to use the original ID and asked for a password. TurboTax support helped me reset the password, but now I am unable to access my 2[redacted] tax returns. This is crucial as I need to amend my [redacted] return that impacts my [redacted] taxes. Time is of the essence, and I must locate these files to meet the deadline for submitting my amendment through TurboTax.

I've been using Turbotax Premier for 3 years. Last year, I noticed that my K-1 income was incorrectly reported at the last minute, leading me to seek professional tax filing help for my [redacted] return and amending [redacted] and [redacted]. My K-1 has various entries that I struggled to report accurately. Can you advise on how to handle this? Also, which specific TurboTax version would I need for my situation? I hope to avoid purchasing the software only to still require professional assistance. I would greatly appreciate your prompt response. Thank you.

With the Turbo Tax Home and Business [redacted] software, I encountered an issue where my self-employed business income from [redacted]'s wasn't appearing on Schedule C initially, leading me to use the override feature. This resolved the problem for all three businesses I entered.
Next, I found that although I marked all businesses as qualified for business income, only one business reflected the change in taxes upon selection.
How do I ensure that the remaining two businesses show up as deductions too? Additionally, one business displays an amount on line J 1 for QBI deduction, while the others do not.
I would appreciate any assistance with these matters.

I'm having difficulty resetting my password. Every time I try, I end up back at the same page without being able to reset it. I really need human assistance. I've tried calling the phone number provided, but it only directs me to the sign-in or password reset page. I keep getting stuck in a loop. How can I get actual assistance without speaking to a robot? I have several reset pins, but I can't seem to get past this issue. I thought the hotline was meant for human tech support, but I can't seem to reach a real person for help.

My stepdaughter used TurboTax to file her taxes online and mistakenly claimed my biological daughter as a dependent, even though I have been claiming her all year. After discussing it with her, she received approval on her 1040x form for the amendment but is having trouble making the changes online. We are looking for assistance from TurboTax to guide us through the 1040x amendment process so I can proceed with filing my taxes correctly. Thank you in advance for your help in resolving this matter.

I recently purchased TurboTax Deluxe from Amazon for $42.19. Unfortunately, I realized that it is not compatible with my laptop's operating system, El Capitan. After attempting to upgrade my operating system, I discovered that I cannot install the next version on my laptop. I have been using TurboTax for years and have always found it user-friendly and convenient. It is disappointing to now encounter this compatibility issue. I will have to resort to doing my taxes online, incurring additional costs. It feels like a waste of money buying the software and the time spent trying to upgrade my system. I believe TurboTax should offer a credit towards my online filing fees to make up for the situation.

My wife and I wanted to amend our [redacted] tax return. While searching for where to purchase the necessary product to obtain a copy of our paperwork, I bought the deluxe edition of TurboTax as instructed. Despite purchasing the deluxe edition, I am still unable to access the documents I need. Is it possible to receive a refund on my wife's card or acquire the correct product to obtain the paperwork I require? Thank you.

I'm currently using the free edition of TurboTax, attempting to print both my federal and state returns. Upon clicking the print button, a new window appears with the message "Preparing your documents. This may take a few minutes." Unfortunately, this window continues to load indefinitely without any progress. I've attempted to disable my adblocker for the site, but this hasn't resolved the issue. I believed that with the free edition, it was possible to print the returns once before filing them.

A few years ago, I signed up for the automatic plan for the downloadable Deluxe version. Last tax year, in [redacted], I mistakenly received the Basic version and had to call customer service to switch it. This year, the same issue occurred for the [redacted] tax year. Despite being charged on my November Visa statement, I cannot access the downloadable Deluxe version. I require three actions: 1. Assistance in switching to the Deluxe version. 2. Discontinuation of the annual renewal plan. 3. Improved weekend phone support with shorter wait times. I am willing to provide my Visa details and account information once contact is established.

Hello, I recently filed my state and federal taxes with TurboTax, but encountered an issue with my birthdate not matching the Efile signature and what the IRS had on file. Despite correcting the birth year from [redacted] to the correct date, the problem persists and my filings are being rejected for the same reason. I have followed TurboTax's steps to refile multiple times, but the correct birth year doesn't seem to be saved. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have the TurboTax software from my mom, but my computer doesn't have a CD drive. I made my own account online but need help merging it with hers. We file taxes separately, and I'm independent and in another state. Can I use her software online by entering the serial/UPC details, or do I have to merge our accounts? I created my own account for the free service, but I may need to upgrade to Deluxe for my deductions.

I am struggling to complete my taxes this year using TurboTax as I have done in previous years. Unfortunately, I am unable to reset my password despite numerous attempts. I am in need of assistance to regain access to my account. My phone number is [redacted] and my email is [redacted] Each time I attempt to reset my password, the system requests a code that I never seem to receive, despite checking all my email folders diligently. I appreciate any help with this matter.

I have some questions. I tried calling Customer Service, but couldn't get through when entering my SSN. Is TurboTax now charging double for tax filing? It seems like an increase compared to the free simple filing. I am assisting my son, who has low income and will get $14 back from NC. He also needs to file for VA for 2 months, for which he was charged $59.99 for Deluxe due to a school grant. Now, it's $59.99 for Federal and $39.99 each for the states. But why the extra $39.00 for a processing fee? I'm a long-time TurboTax user and don't remember these high fees. I just want to confirm if he will be charged twice per tax claim. I'd like to file soon but may switch services based on your response. Thank you, Vanessa Raynor

I worked for half of [redacted] and received unemployment benefits for the other half. When I filed my tax return, I inputted my W2 from work first and was supposed to get back over $1,[redacted] initially (I can't remember the exact amount). However, after adding the unemployment income, my return decreased to $[redacted]. As I was finishing up, it prompted me to review the unemployment section, but somehow it was empty even though I had entered it before. After re-entering it, my return now shows that I owe $[redacted]. I'm not sure why this is happening, and I'm confused about where I went wrong with the calculations.

I am experiencing difficulty filing my tax return due to the unavailability of final versions of some forms. Despite being informed they would be ready by the end of February, they are still not accessible in mid-March. Suggestions in the Turbo Tax Community advise against answering "yes" to the TOSI question, but as I have trust income, this is not a viable solution. Even though my spouse answered "no" to the TOSI question, her return is also delayed. I regularly update the program to no avail. I am unsure if the TOSI question is mandatory by the CRA and when the forms will be finalized. I am utilizing the online standard version and wonder if this is causing the issue. As I am anticipating a significant refund, I am eager to resolve this matter promptly.

I e-filed my Federal and State tax returns on January 31, [redacted]. I received a confirmation from the IRS, but later received an additional W-2 form by mail, which I didn't include in my original filing. When I tried to make an amendment using TurboTax, it told me to wait for form 1040x, which I did. Recently, I got an email from TurboTax saying that the form 1040x was ready for me to amend my return. When I attempted to make the changes today, the Federal and State refund amounts were both showing as $0. Despite this, the system prompted me to continue with the amendment. Upon printing the forms to mail to the IRS, I noticed that the corrected refund amount was cancelled out as -$[redacted]. Originally, my Federal refund was $[redacted], and State refund was $[redacted], both of which I received. After amending, it showed a Federal refund of $[redacted] and State refund of $85. I'm unsure why the amounts reverted to $0 during the amendment process and how I can correct this issue.

1. I encountered an issue while filling out the online tax forms regarding Schedule B, Form [redacted]-Div from National Financial Services LLC. The question asked for the state (postal code) where the interest was earned, but the information from NFS did not include that detail. What should I enter in this case?
2. I noticed that the online form submission did not ask for a signature. How will the IRS verify that our forms were indeed submitted?
3. In past years, we included Form [redacted]-ES for the following year's taxes. However, there was no option to submit such a form online for [redacted]. Is it because it's not applicable for next year's taxes?
4. I would like to know when and how we will receive a complete copy of all the approved forms submitted to the IRS.
