Tinder recently banned my account stating an “age restriction” violation even though I’m 20 years old and have been a user for 2 years. Despite emailing them, the response from Scott at Tinder explained that if the birthdate entered upon sign up indicates being under 18, access will be blocked for a specific timeframe with no appeal process available.
The birthdate provided during my sign-up was accurate, so I'm confused about the ban. I'm seeking alternative ways to reach out to Tinder for resolution. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and found a solution?

I am new to Tinder and signed up two days ago using my email ([redacted]) on my phone. I completed my profile and purchased Tinder Gold. Yesterday, after taking a break, I reinstalled Tinder and got Tinder Gold because I received some likes right after creating my new account and wanted to see who they were from. Everything was fine until around 8:15 PM when I couldn't log in because my account was blocked. I tried to log in on the website hoping to get more information, and I was informed that I wasn't old enough to use Tinder. Here are my questions:
1. Why am I not provided with more detailed reasons for my account being blocked? The reference to the terms of use is not helpful.
2. If the assumption is that I am too young, who decides this and based on what criteria?
3. Why is this issue arising now when I have been using the app since [redacted]?
4. If age is not the reason, I am certain I have not violated the terms of use.

My renewal at the same rate is set to take place tomorrow, but I have a concern.
