Hello, I reported a contact, but I may have portrayed things worse or described them ambiguously. It's about Momo. He stayed with me over the weekend and claimed he wanted to be with me, which unfortunately led to us being intimate. When he left, he just blocked me out of the blue. I trusted him and even gave him my phone, thinking we were now a couple. That was very foolish of me. When I signed up for Tinder, I used a Tunisian phone number while I was in Tunisia. Now that I'm back in Canada, my phone with my Tinder account is broken. I paid for a one-month subscription to test it out, and I'm concerned about canceling future payments because I can't access the account on my broken phone. I have been continuously charged by Tinder even after my subscription expired. Unfortunately, my account got banned because I mistakenly uploaded the wrong photo to my feed. I was sorting through photos and accidentally chose one for my profile instead of my camera roll. I am writing out of frustration as I have recently been banned from Tinder. Despite planning to delete my account, I felt the need to express my concerns.
I have been an on-and-off user of Tinder for years, always striving to be a perfect gentleman with no success. Upgrading to Gold did not improve my luck. The few genuine matches I did have ultimately led to dates with profiles that misrepresented individuals, resulting in wasted time and money.
The prevalence of fake Chinese profiles selling items, inactive profiles, and sex workers on the app has become overwhelming. In response, I added a profile message to provoke a reaction, which ultimately led to my ban.
I believe that Tinder's approach of prioritizing profiles over genuine connections is detrimental to those seeking meaningful relationships. I urge the platform to reconsider its focus and provide the services users pay for.
Despite my frustration, I am open to discussing potential improvements with Tinder. I have even developed an alternative app concept that could better serve users while remaining profitable.
I implore Tinder to remember its original goal of connecting single individuals and consider the negative impact it may have on fostering healthy relationships.
