I responded to a Craigslist posting for positions at the Bainbridge Island Subway. I expressed interest in the manager's role with a wage requirement of $14.00+. Upon arrival, I was told they were not hiring a manager, instead looking for an assistant manager. I reluctantly agreed to the assistant manager position. After working a shift, I was not scheduled again, not paid, and not provided a meal or tip. I created a work account but am unsure if I was clocked in properly. I witnessed unauthorized individuals in sensitive areas. Despite reaching out to the owner, I have not received any updates. I am seeking payment for the worked hours and standby pay since August 13 as advised by Washington state lawyers. I have not been given the required [redacted] form. I prefer a quick resolution without legal involvement.

During my recent visit to the McArthur Drive location in Orange, Texas, I witnessed an upsetting interaction between the manager, Brandi, and a staff member. Brandi's communication style was aggressive, making the employee visibly upset. This behavior seems to be a pattern at this branch, as it's not the first time I've observed such treatment towards staff. Brandi's comments about portion control were condescending and inappropriate, especially in front of customers. When I requested to speak to the manager, hoping to address the situation, Brandi claimed she was the manager and refused to provide a corporate contact. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her behavior, highlighting that no one should experience such treatment at work. Until actions are taken to improve the working environment and staff treatment, my family and I have decided not to return to this location.

I recently experienced unfair termination from my position at Subway in Hamtramck, Michigan. The store manager, Sandy, has displayed discriminatory behavior towards African-Americans and Arabic individuals, prompting me to apologize on multiple occasions for her disrespectful actions. Despite presenting a doctor's note for my recent illness-related absence, Sandy dismissed me without a valid explanation during my interview. A colleague mentioned that Sandy accused me of excessive gossiping and customer interaction, which mainly consisted of me addressing her behavior in front of customers. I believe there was no justifiable reason for my firing. I am reaching out because I feel that Nick, the Subway owner, should be informed about the situation as the corporate level might be unaware of these issues.

I would like to request that all Subway locations consider allowing the Italian Herb and Cheese bread to be an option for KID SIZE sandwiches. As someone with specific dietary needs following bariatric surgery, I find it frustrating to purchase a 6" sandwich and waste part of it because I cannot finish it. The Italian Herb and Cheese bread is a personal favorite of mine and I believe it should be available for smaller portions. Currently, the Subway I am at in Austin, Texas does not offer the Italian Herb and Cheese bread for KID SIZE sandwiches due to company policy. This experience has led me to feel disappointed and considering not visiting Subway locations anymore. However, I appreciate the flexibility shown by YEO SUBWAYS where I can request the bread I prefer in a smaller size to match my dietary requirements. I hope Subway can reconsider their policy regarding KID SIZE bread options. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, VK.

I placed an online order at the store in Wylie, Texas, to be picked up at 1:20. When my son brought the order home, I noticed it wasn't correct. I politely contacted the store to address the issue. I requested black olives, less mayo, and less mustard, but the sandwich had too much mayo and mustard, and the bread seemed overcooked. The manager, who identified herself as Madeline, was dismissive and rude on the phone. She repeatedly interrupted me and eventually hung up on me. My attempts to discuss the matter calmly were met with unprofessional behavior. Despite my background in customer service, this experience was the worst encounter with management I have had. I simply wanted acknowledgment of the mistake and better attention to detail in the future. I learned the manager's name is Madeline, and she was working on September 23rd. Her behavior was unacceptable, and I hope Subway addresses this issue seriously. My family and I will not be returning to that Subway location due to this experience. Thank you. - J.C.

Subway sent me a text about a $4 off offer for downloading the app. I followed the instructions from the Apple App Store, but couldn't find the discount. After realizing the link in the text might be necessary, I deleted the app and re-downloaded it through the bit.ly link provided. However, I still haven't received the $4 coupon. Can you assist me in accessing the promised discount? Thank you.

Subway recently sent me an offer via text stating to download the app for a $4 discount on my next order, but after downloading the app from the Apple App Store, I didn't see the discount. I later realized there was a bit.ly link in the original text message and assumed I needed to download the app through this link. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app through the provided link, I still did not receive the $4 off coupon. I believe I should receive the promised discount.

I recently got hired at the Baytown Subway but regrettably was let go before I could begin training. I was given the required uniform and paperwork, including a W-2 form. However, it seems that another employee raised concerns about me, leading to my dismissal. This employee, not being a manager, influenced the hiring manager against me. I was even asked to return the uniform items. This situation feels unjust, especially after I had already invested in additional work attire. It's disappointing that an internal conflict seems to have impacted my employment, despite being offered the job immediately after my interview. I am considering legal action against Subway.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a loyal customer and used to enjoy your Sub & Salad meals three times a week from your Doraha outlet. However, today I had a disappointing encounter with one of your team members, INDERJIT. He was very rude and had a difficult-to-understand accent. Despite knowing how to handle such individuals, I refrained from reacting due to my son's presence. The food I received did not meet my expectations as he declined to add certain ingredients or sauces without asking for my preferences. This left me feeling upset, and I believe it's important to bring this to your attention to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. I kindly request that appropriate action be taken regarding INDERJIT's behavior. Regards, Badal Tyre Services Doraha

I want to share my experience being hired at Subway in Baytown, Texas. The address is [redacted] Garth Road. I was hired on the spot by Renee, the manager, who was referred to me by my friend Jennifer Chandler. After receiving my uniform and W-2s, I was scheduled to start training. However, due to personal issues with Jennifer, I received a text message from her two days later asking for my uniform back. Since Jennifer is no longer a manager at Subway, I find it unfair that I was not contacted by the current manager and never officially let go. I have not done anything wrong during my time there. I have consulted with a lawyer who confirmed that it is illegal to terminate an employee for personal reasons after they have been hired. I have been trying to reach out to Subway but have not received a response. I hope to resolve this matter amicably.

I work at a Subway in Wellington and wanted to address some concerning issues at my workplace. Two employees have been stealing from the store, and although the manager was made aware of this, they only received a warning. Also, my wife was falsely accused of stealing, resulting in her being fired and rehired on the same day. Furthermore, one of the employees involved in stealing is manipulating the schedule and spreading lies to other employees, which could lead to legal repercussions. It's disheartening to see these ongoing problems at my workplace without appropriate actions being taken to address them.

The Subway located on Ashville Hwy in Spartanburg, SC provided extremely poor service. Despite having five cars behind me in the drive-thru, they only focused on customers inside. I waited over 30 minutes for my order and when I inquired about their drive-thru service, the staff was dismissive and suggested drive-thru customers come inside. They proceeded to take orders from inside customers who arrived after me. When I asked about my order, I was met with rudeness and eventually told off. This experience was disappointing, and I will not be returning. The drive-thru should be closed if they cannot manage the demand efficiently.

I dined at Subway Store #[redacted]-0 at [redacted] N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ [redacted], at 3:45 pm today. I have the receipt. My order was a 6” steak on wheat with sweet peppers, light pickle, provolone cheese, toasted, and a regular drink. I consumed my meal in-store, then walked home, which takes approximately 5-7 minutes. Near home, I experienced severe illness - diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my evening plans. There was a new girl and a Hispanic male supervisor present, with some individuals possibly sleeping in the back. Despite this, my main concern is becoming ill after eating in your store, as I am a regular customer, visiting 5-7 times a month. Please reach out to me promptly to address this matter. - Cynthia

I have visited the Subway on Portland Rd in Weymouth with my sons multiple times. The majority of the staff are fantastic, but there is one employee, a very rude lady named Charlie, who made our experience unpleasant. My youngest son is shy and speaks softly. Charlie's impatience and loud demands of "what" when he speaks embarrassed him, leading him to refuse to return. During my older son's recent visit, she even refused to speak, just handing him items and avoiding eye contact. When I tried to address the issue with her, she was confrontational. Conversely, another employee named Kai was friendly and helpful. It is a shame to see such a contrast in attitudes. We will avoid the store when Charlie is working. I have never felt the need to complain before, but her behavior is unacceptable and paints a negative picture of your company. I suggest that she receive additional training or be placed in a different role. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you, Misty Middleton.

My wife and I visited your Subway store number [redacted]-0 for lunch around 3 pm. A few minutes of waiting passed before staff came to assist us. We overheard them making insulting remarks about my wife in the back. When they finally made our sandwiches, they skimped on the meat, cheese, and veggies for her sub and were generally unfriendly. While we were eating, they purposely changed the music to the song "Dude Looks Like a Lady" and laughed throughout. As someone who values respectful service with my wife having customer service experience and aspirations to be a manager, we found this demeaning behavior unacceptable. This incident needs to be addressed as we refuse to tolerate such treatment again. This poor experience is disappointing, especially given our accomplishments and hard work. If this behavior continues, we may have to take legal action. I am personally fed up with it, and empathize with the burden it places on my wife.

I work at [redacted] Packerland Way in Louisville, KY [redacted]. Today at work, my supervisor asked me personal questions about my age, relationship status, and religious beliefs. He criticized my approach to studying the Bible, particularly regarding my sexual orientation, which he deemed as wrong in his religious view. As a well-educated individual with formal training in religious studies, this encounter has left me feeling conflicted and uncomfortable. I believe this incident violates my rights to freedom of religion and expression. It has caused significant distress as my supervisor overstepped boundaries by imposing his beliefs on me. I'm concerned that his discriminatory behavior may impact my work environment and potentially influence his treatment of me during working hours.

I recently visited Subway Restaurant [redacted]-0 with my walker and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by Jamie, who greeted me warmly and opened the door for me. I enjoyed a delicious steak sub for lunch and as I left, another employee named Frédéric also held the door open for me. The service at this Subway location is truly outstanding, and I felt well taken care of by the staff. I want to express my appreciation for the wonderful treatment I received and I look forward to returning soon. This message is purely a compliment to the hardworking employees at Subway.

I recently visited the Subway store at [redacted] D Battery St. in San Francisco on Friday, December 13th at 9:45 am. Upon entering, I noticed there was only one employee, a young Asian woman, working. Unfortunately, a homeless man was harassing her about the prices of drinks in the self-service refrigerator. Concerned for her safety, I purchased a soda for the man to help diffuse the situation. It was concerning to see the employee facing this alone. I believe having only one staff member working is not safe or ideal, especially in situations like this. The employee remained calm and polite throughout the incident, but it was distressing to witness. I hope for the safety and well-being of the employees, it is considered to have more than one person working at a time. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had a disappointing experience at the Subway located at [redacted] Vista Lakes Drive in Orlando, Florida. During my visit, there were only two employees working – one was cleaning in the back, and the other was serving customers. Despite waiting in line for over 5 minutes, I ended up leaving without being attended to. Fast food restaurants are meant to be efficient, and I was let down by the lack of service. Furthermore, there seems to be a lack of customer service after a certain hour, making it hard to engage with the brand. Though the restaurant itself is modern and visually appealing, the poor service overshadowed its aesthetic charm. I hope to see improvements in the future, as good employees are vital for business success. My name is L.J. and you can reach me at [redacted].

I am wondering why it's not possible to purchase a $30 gift card and receive a free 6-inch sub. Denying additional revenue seems counterintuitive. I typically buy gift cards as stocking stuffers, but the store in my area states that the offer is only valid for a $25 card, not for values like $30 or $40. This inconsistency is perplexing from a business perspective. Could you clarify this policy for me? I believe many others might have encountered the same problem, and it appears that as a company, there might be a missed opportunity for substantial profits. Thank you.
