The following are issues that customers reported to GetHuman about StubHub customer service, archive #17. It includes a selection of 20 issue(s) reported September 14, 2021 onward. If you have a similar customer service issue, this page will help you find current, up-to-date answers and solutions too.
On August 21, [redacted], I sold tickets to a show. The status shows as completed, but it indicates the subs were rejected. I never received any email notification apart from the sale confirmation. Concerned that the buyers might not receive their tickets, I attempted to contact the support team and was on hold for six hours on a Saturday without any luck. In total, I've spent about 15 hours trying to reach customer service. Despite my efforts, my sister-in-law managed to attend the show, and others were in the seats I sold, mentioning they purchased them from StubHub. However, I have neither received payment nor any communication regarding this transaction. I invested a significant amount in these tickets, and it's frustrating that there seems to be an issue unaddressed while the tickets show as sold and completed without any payment.

I listed tickets for the Notre Dame v Purdue game on the Notre Dame ticket site for September 18th, [redacted], and got a confirmation email from StubHub with the tickets listed. However, I checked today and couldn't find any listings. I hadn't received any notification of a sale, even though I listed them yesterday. The game is just four days away, and I need to either sell the tickets or have StubHub compensate for the lost tickets. Here is the information from the confirmation email I received:
Ticket Listing Details:
Event: Purdue Boilermakers at #12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Tickets
Date: Saturday, 09/18/[redacted], 2:30 pm
Venue: Notre Dame Stadium, Notre Dame, IN
Listing ID: [redacted]
Section: L:15, Row 17, Seats 14-15

I was charged $[redacted] for not delivering tickets I was selling through Stubhub. However, I never received any notifications indicating that my tickets had been sold. Despite checking daily and even lowering the price multiple times, I was unaware that the tickets had supposedly sold on 8/23 for an event on 9/12. I have proof that I only posted the listing on 9/1, as shown in the email I received from Stubhub.
Furthermore, there seems to be inconsistency in the pricing information. The Completed Sales section lists the tickets at $75 each, while my current listing price was $70 each. This discrepancy adds to my confusion, as I believed the tickets had not yet been sold due to the price adjustment I made.
I am concerned about the situation and would like the $[redacted] charge removed from my account. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Lisa P.

I bought 2 three-day wristbands for a music festival in Chicago. Instead of the wristbands, we received a flyer. Despite spending $[redacted] on a hotel and $35 for transportation, we were denied entry without wristbands. After hours on hold with StubHub, we couldn’t locate the original order number. We had to purchase new tickets for $[redacted]. I am seeking a full refund from StubHub for the initial expenses and the missed first day of the festival.

I needed to have my StubHub account reset as I was locked out. After waiting for 3 hours on the phone today to re-list my tickets for sale, they were briefly visible in my listings but then disappeared. The app shows a "Sale" status as "canceled" and I cannot re-list the tickets as it says they are already listed. I'm unsure if they were sold, active, or if my account is locked again. I need an agent to clarify this. If the tickets are unsold, I want them removed from StubHub due to this bad experience.

I bought three tickets for the Hamilton show at Fox in Atlanta on September 2, [redacted], with order number [redacted]. The total price was $[redacted].98. The tickets were confirmed via email, but upon arrival at the gate, they didn't scan. We were directed to the box office, where we were informed our tickets were invalid due to being scammed or stolen. This has happened with Stub Hub tickets at the same show before. We had to purchase new tickets, causing us to miss the opening acts. I am hoping for a quick resolution and refund to my Visa card as I believe the tickets were insured.

Good Afternoon,
I am writing to kindly request a full refund for NHL tickets that my wife recently bought through StubHub. When we purchased the tickets on August 26th, [redacted], both the venue (Enterprise Center, St Louis, MO) and the team (St Louis Blues hockey) did not have any vaccine or mask mandates. However, this has changed recently.
If we had known that we would have to disclose personal medical information (vaccine status or test results), we would not have bought these tickets. Although my wife's credit card has been charged, we have not yet received the tickets. Therefore, we are requesting a full refund of the entire purchase price to be credited back to the same credit card.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us using the numbers provided below.
Sincerely,
Jeff

I have been trying to contact StubHub for a week regarding an upcoming concert due to my medical condition, preventing me from being around large crowds or getting vaccinated. I received a rescheduled notification from StubHub's recording, but I was uncertain if the concert had been rescheduled or will be rescheduled. I contacted the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, confirming the concert is happening but could not assist with my tickets. Despite my love for Michael Buble and the desire to attend, it was not feasible at this time. After struggling to understand the ticket app's requirements, I had to rely on my son-in-law to help sell the tickets, which unfortunately did not happen. Missing the concert and losing $[redacted] has been distressing, impacting my health. I tried reaching out for assistance for over 2 1/2 hours on the phone without success, falling asleep in the process. Kindly assist me in resolving this situation.

I bought tickets on StubHub for my girlfriend's birthday weekend to watch the Yankees vs. Indians game at Yankee Stadium on September 18th. Unfortunately, upon reaching the stadium after a 3-hour journey, we couldn't download the tickets from StubHub to enter. We were directed to customer service where many others faced the same issue. Despite finally resolving the problem and obtaining a code from a Yankee Stadium representative, we missed half the game, only entering during the fourth inning. It ruined what was meant to be a special birthday gift.
I am requesting a full refund for the tickets due to the significant inconvenience and missed opportunity of enjoying the game. Please process the refund promptly. Thank you.

I bought Rolling Stones tickets in February [redacted] for $[redacted].99. The concert got postponed due to CV19, but unfortunately, Stubhub has not refunded me despite multiple letters sent. Now, the concert is rescheduled for November [redacted], and I can't go due to recent foot surgery which was scheduled before the rescheduled date. I am trying to sell the tickets on Stubhub, but I can't access the website with the guest access code provided. I've been trying to call but have been on hold for 1 hour and 38 minutes.

I bought tickets for the Detroit Tigers vs. Cleveland Indians baseball game on June 29, [redacted] in Cleveland through StubHub, paying by credit card. After the game was officially rained out, I contacted StubHub, agreeing to keep the balance in my account. Although I attended another event, I still have about $45 left unused in my StubHub account. I am kindly requesting a refund for the $45 from the rained-out game. Please either issue me a check or refund the amount to the same credit card used for the original purchase. I prefer to maintain a zero balance in my StubHub account for now. As I encountered long wait times when attempting to call, I hope you can assist with this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this request.
Sincerely,

I bought front row tickets for the Theresa Caputo event in Springfield, Illinois on September 18, [redacted], originally purchased in December [redacted]. The event was rescheduled multiple times due to COVID. I also purchased VIP experience tickets for a meet and greet. On the evening of the show, I arrived at 6:45 PM but was denied entry as my tickets couldn't be scanned. Despite having the order summary and proof of purchase, I was turned away. I attempted to access the tickets online with no success. I called customer service to no avail. My fiancée and I were left disappointed. I am seeking a refund for the $[redacted].34 spent on the unusable tickets. It was a frustrating experience after waiting so long for the event. Thank you for your assistance.

Subject: Refund Request for Order #[redacted]52
To Customer Service,
I encountered difficulties with my tickets at the event on Saturday, September 18th, under Order #[redacted]52. Upon arrival, I was unable to access my tickets, causing a delay in entering the stadium. This was due to a system issue affecting Stub Hub tickets, which resulted in missing half of the game and a promotional giveaway. Despite attempting to contact customer service by phone, the extended wait time led to no resolution. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of support during the event and the unresponsive customer service afterwards.
I am seeking a full refund for the event as the experience was marred by the ticket access problem. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted] to address this matter promptly.
Thank you,
Christian Reimann

I bought front row tickets for an event featuring Theresa Caputo in Springfield, Illinois on September 18, [redacted]. The tickets were purchased on December 3, [redacted], but due to COVID, the event was rescheduled several times. The event finally occurred this past Saturday. I also purchased VIP tickets for a meet and greet photo experience. The week before the event, an email was sent offering the VIP upgrade. The original tickets cost $[redacted].34. When we arrived at the event on Saturday at 6:45 pm, I tried to access the tickets but couldn't because they couldn't be scanned. Despite trying repeatedly, the tickets were not recognized. I called customer service, but the issue wasn't resolved. My fiancée and I were disappointed that we couldn't attend the event we waited so long for due to ticket problems. I'm seeking a refund for the two unusable tickets. Thank you for your help.

Dear StubHub Customer Service,
I am reaching out to you via email due to the extended wait time on your phone line. My concern is regarding an order my mother placed for three tickets on September 16th for the Harry Styles concert in Detroit on September 20th. The order number is [redacted]34, totaling $[redacted].50.
Although the tickets were supposed to be mobile-transferred by September 19th, they never arrived in my mother's email ([redacted]), even after checking the spam folder. Despite being assured by a representative that the tickets would be resent, they were not received, causing distress for my daughters who were excited about the concert.
Despite multiple attempts, including long phone waits, the tickets were not re-sent, leading to a disappointing situation just an hour before the show. We were unable to resolve this issue promptly and were left out of pocket with no tickets in hand. As a loyal customer, I believe more could have been done, and I trust that you will investigate and adhere to your refund policy.
Sincerely,
Angela M.

This morning, I logged into my account without any issues. However, when I attempted to list my Washington Husky Football tickets, a glitch prevented the process, particularly with recognizing my credit card number. Although I've had the same card for a long period, it wasn't accepted. When I tried to log back into my Stub Hub account, I couldn't access it due to a seemingly password-related problem. Surprisingly, my password, saved on my computer, didn't work, even though I had logged in recently. I've requested a password reset multiple times but haven't received the email from Stub Hub. Currently, I'm unable to access my account to list the tickets. David O., [redacted].

I currently have a listing for the UW Badgers/Notre Dame game (listing #[redacted]) with tickets in my Google Pay that require transfer through the UW Badger ticket office. The tickets were distributed through Ticketmaster by UW Badgers. The UW ticket office recently emailed stating that all transfers must be completed by tomorrow (Thursday) at 4PM, despite the game being on Saturday at 11AM local time in Chicago. I am considering relisting the tickets on StubHub, including the barcodes for mobile transfer, to allow for more time to sell. If I don't sell by 4PM tomorrow, I may not have sufficient time to transfer the tickets. Your assistance on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Mark O'Donnell

I've never had any issues with StubHub tickets before, but I'm facing one now, and I'm unsure how to proceed. On May 5th, I purchased expensive tickets for tomorrow's Padres game. I received an order confirmation from StubHub, and my credit card was charged accordingly. The confirmation stated that the tickets would be delivered by Wednesday, September 22, [redacted]. However, upon checking today, the order seems to be missing from my account. I've already spent over 30 minutes on hold with customer service, and the recorded message mentioned hold times of up to 3 hours.

I recently sold two tickets under order number [redacted]55. Originally purchased from the Governors Ball website, I was unable to directly transfer the tickets to the buyer on Stubhub. Despite changing the name on the tickets and setting them for will call pick up, the buyer faced issues. I attempted to notify Stubhub numerous times about this ticket transfer arrangement. After being finally reached by Stubhub, the call dropped before confirming the change in delivery method.
Following this, an email indicated the sale order was canceled, and $[redacted] would be charged to my card. I seek a refund as the transfer issues were due to Stubhub's customer service failures. Please refund $[redacted] to my card promptly as I am not at fault.

Hello,
I hope you're doing well! I've been trying to connect with someone regarding an issue with my ticket. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach anyone by phone, so I'm reaching out via email for assistance.
Today, when I tried to remove my ticket listing from a different website after posting it on StubHub, I encountered technical difficulties. Despite my attempts to take it down, I was only able to edit the amount, leading to the ticket being sold on StubHub before I could remove it. Now, I'm facing charges for the ticket due to the website's software issues.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could advise me on the steps to get a refund for this situation caused by the website malfunction. You can reach me at [redacted]
Best regards,
Stephanie Wolf
