Yesterday, I updated my payment information on Spotify when it wasn't accepting my payment. I reentered the same card details that were already saved, and the transaction went through. However, I later realized that my plan had been switched from Premium Student to Regular Premium once again. This has happened before, and I find it frustrating. Immediately after noticing this, I switched back to the Premium Student plan, but I was still charged the full amount. Now, twelve hours later, the payment has gone through completely. I tried reaching out to the support team via Twitter at @spotifycares after changing my plan, but I haven't received a response yet.

Hello, I've been a Spotify Premium subscriber for almost two years. Recently, I've noticed that ads are playing while I'm trying to listen to music. Premium should mean no ads, so I'm quite disappointed by this change. I didn't sign up to hear ads, and unless this issue is resolved, I may have to reconsider my subscription. Many others might do the same if the ads continue. I hope Spotify can address this matter soon. - Wendy G.

I have been a student, both in college and now in graduate school, while maintaining my Spotify Premium subscription. Last year, I contacted support requesting the student discount of 4.99 per month and was told I would be reimbursed. However, I am still being charged the full amount of 9.99 per month. I would appreciate a refund for the overcharge during this past year. Additionally, I am facing issues verifying my current enrollment status with my school.

Hi, this is my second account as someone I don’t know keeps accessing my previous one and playing their music, which is confusing as they appear on my Spotify. I created a new account less than a week ago, and now a girl named Alicia is on it. I am puzzled as to how this is happening. I can't listen to music when someone else is on my account. Please assist me with this issue. Thank you.

Hello, I have a Spotify premium account, but I'm receiving emails at a different email address than the one linked to my account. Hello, I have been a Spotify Premium subscriber for years, with the monthly charges previously at $8.99, then $9.99. Surprisingly, I just noticed that the latest charge on my credit card bill is $14.99 from Spotify. I haven't made any changes to my subscription, and this sudden increase seems significant. I would appreciate it if you could provide an explanation regarding this charge discrepancy. You can reach me at [redacted], and my username is audacity8. I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Thank you, Solomon A.

My premium account was unexpectedly upgraded to a family plan, leading to a payment increase. When trying to revert to the premium plan, the account was mistakenly canceled. Subsequently, I was logged out and can no longer access the account. Originally linked to my Facebook, disconnecting it during my Facebook account deactivation may have caused this issue. Currently, it states my email is not linked to any account. My details are as follows: Braden Gore, bragoreden[at]gmail.com or Bragoreden[at]yahoo.com. The Yahoo email shows an account without my playlists, whereas Spotify has consistently used my Gmail. I receive numerous emails from Spotify. I seek assistance in regaining access to my account so I can reinstate my premium subscription.

I have an account under [redacted] and received an email offering a free 3-month trial of premium Spotify. Intrigued, I clicked on the link in the email. Strangely, it logged me in with the email address [redacted], which was my old one on Facebook and not in use for months. I’ve since updated my email. Now, I can’t access my Spotify account anymore as an error message keeps appearing. Since my email didn't match, I deleted the 3-month trial in hope of resolving this issue.

I have been unable to access my account for the past two days because the email link for my username (mrathletico) is not reaching my usual email ([redacted]). It's frustrating because I receive Spotify emails regularly at this address, but when I try to reset my password, I'm unsure where those emails are being sent. Additionally, I haven't been logged out of my account in years, so I'm perplexed as to why I'm suddenly locked out on both my phone and computer. On top of this, our family's premium account frequently has issues with multiple logins causing disruptions. If possible, please reach out to me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] before I consider canceling my Spotify subscription.

Hello, I am interested in enrolling in the 3-month trial, as mentioned in the email I received. However, upon clicking the link and signing up, I discovered that the email address associated with my profile is different from the one I usually use. I canceled the trial to rectify the email issue. When attempting to sign up again using the correct email, I encountered a message stating I was already using the trial, which is inaccurate. Currently, I am unable to log in to the app due to supposed connection issues, which are unfounded. I am hoping to regain access to my account under [redacted] and utilize the trial that I have not yet benefited from due to the system error. Thank you for your assistance.

I am having trouble accessing my Spotify account. It was previously linked to Facebook and my email address was [redacted] When I attempt to log in, the reset password links are not effective. After trying again recently, it indicates there is no account linked to my email. Strangely, when I try to create a new account with the same email, it advises that it is already in use. Is it possible to delete any existing account associated with this email? And if so, can I reuse the email address for a new account? Thank you.

Hello, I need help with our Spotify account situation. My father started the account with an email that is now closed due to his previous business being sold. We all use the account now under the family plan he pays for. However, we've never actually accessed this family plan as the password was changed when we could still access the original email. We've been unable to use the account simultaneously for over a year. How can we reset the password without the original email access so we can all enjoy the account? Please assist promptly. Thank you.

I am a premium Spotify user, but I am having trouble updating my debit card information, adjusting my account settings, or cancelling my subscription. I don't have an email or Facebook linked to my account and my username is "bz48j8azajeb01pmvkcbgn6cl." I wish to cancel my subscription and will not use Spotify again due to the poor user interface and experience on their iOS app. It seems like Spotify is only focused on collecting money from its customers.

I signed up for the student Spotify bundle with Hulu and Showtime, but my Hulu account got canceled unexpectedly. Now I'm being charged $15 for Spotify instead of the $5 student rate. I am still a student and should qualify for the bundle, so I would like a refund for the overcharge. I want to either receive the refund and continue with the student account or get reimbursed and cancel my Spotify premium subscription.

I've been attempting to claim my Spotify artist profile for over a week now. I tried accessing it through the Spotify artist app, my web browser, and Chrome. Unfortunately, each time I attempt to do so, I am redirected to a blank page without the option to search for my artist profile. I also attempted to access it through DistroKid. While I could search for my artist name using this method, I still encountered the same issue of being directed to a blank page without any further access.

Hello, I am having issues unsubscribing from your website. I am being charged $11.99 monthly for a subscription I accidentally signed up for over a year and a half ago. I have tried to cancel this subscription without success. Unfortunately, I do not remember the email or password I used for the enrollment. Despite contacting your representatives a few months ago and being assured that the problem was resolved, I am still being charged. My name is Chris Pruba, and I reside in Australia. This ongoing situation is causing me distress. Kindly assist me in unsubscribing from your site. Thank you.
