I am experiencing difficulties with my PS5 while playing games. A CE-[redacted]-1 error constantly appears regardless of whether I am using the disc or digital version. I attempted to resolve this by resetting the console, clearing the cache, and database in safe mode multiple times without success. Currently, my PS5 is freezing and restarting upon reboot. This issue started on September 12th, less than a month after purchasing the console. Unfortunately, my attempts to seek assistance from Sony's customer support have been unsuccessful. I am frustrated and seeking either a refund or hardware repair under the warranty provided by Bestbuy. On or around 9/15/[redacted], my account was hacked, and unauthorized purchases were made. Despite contacting PS support and undergoing a lengthy process to secure my account with 2-step verification, complications arose with Wells Fargo. When trying to dispute $5.99, $19.99, and $59.99 charges, I mistakenly mentioned stopping charges up to $99.99. Wells Fargo ended up disputing the $99.99 charge instead, resulting in my account being banned. Despite trying to resolve the issue with Wells Fargo, they initiated another chargeback error. Eventually, I decided to pay the disputed amount to prevent further issues, but I'm still concerned about the $59.99 charge I initially disputed. I've submitted an appeal through the PS website around 9/21 or 9/22, but haven't received any updates. I've settled the amount owed and even have a game pre-ordered on the account. I'm unsure of how to address the $59.99 charge now. Any advice would be appreciated.

My account was compromised around September 15th, and unauthorized purchases were made from a different location. I contacted PS support and went through a lengthy process to recover my account and set up two-step verification. I tried to prevent the charges and explained the specific transactions I wanted to dispute to Wells Fargo. Unfortunately, they misunderstood and disputed the wrong charge, resulting in my account being suspended. I contacted Wells Fargo to fix the error, but they did another chargeback instead of correcting the previous one. After this, I decided to pay off the disputed amount to avoid losing my account. Wells Fargo has reversed the claims, the money has been deducted, and I have appealed through the PS website with no response yet. I am concerned about the amount I spent and need assistance in regaining access to my account. I am willing to take any necessary steps to resolve this issue.

My account was hacked around September 15th this year. The thief tried to make multiple purchases with my debit card. I tried to prevent these charges. Unfortunately, Wells Fargo mistakenly did a chargeback on a purchase I authorized. When I asked them to fix it, they actually reversed the original disputed charges, creating many chargebacks on my account. I only wanted to stop the fraudulent charges, not reverse legitimate ones. I have had the bank revert everything to its original state, so now the money is deducted from my account and should be refunded to Sony. I've tried to appeal the suspension, but I haven't received any response email as promised. Please help me regain access to my account. I've been a loyal PlayStation customer since childhood and now at 28. I have numerous games on various Sony platforms, including a digital preorder that I'm unsure how to claim or if it's still possible.

Hello, I am reaching out on behalf of my late sister who unfortunately passed away on 9/28/21. She had been planning for Christmas gifts for her children, and her son had requested a PS5. Given the circumstances, we are looking to fulfill her wish, especially since her daughter, who is only 28 years old, is now taking on the responsibilities. We are hoping to purchase the PS5 digital console but are hoping not to spend $[redacted] on it. Our family is located in Columbia, South Carolina, where they would be able to pick it up. I recently got permanently suspended on PS4, and I believe it was due to a spam report from a player I had an argument with. He was boasting about having multiple modded accounts for PlayStation and mentioned owning SaveWizard on his console. I tried to explain that it wasn't something to brag about and that using cheats doesn't reflect well on him. He even threatened to use cheats against me in-game. I was simply calling him out on his behavior. Unfortunately, I can't recall his name, but if I could see the chat log, I'd easily recognize him. I'm certain I was falsely reported, as I have been a dedicated customer for years and have never cheated in any games. If this suspension was made in error, it's disappointing and would greatly impact my trust in the platform.

I was suspended without any clear reason, despite being the target of a slur along with a friend. I provided the user who harassed us with an image, which my friend reported, only to be suspended myself. I appreciate nothing being done to help us. Is this the standard treatment for paying customers? If so, I will be moving my business elsewhere without hesitation. Deeply disappointed in this company.

I need assistance, please. Recently, my husband unknowingly contacted his credit card company before consulting me about a purchase I made using his credit card, resulting in our son's account being suspended. I have been attempting to rectify this issue for a few days now. I bought a digital PlayStation $[redacted].00 card through your system from Amazon, but your system is rejecting the code. I purchased a Sony WF-1000XM3 in April [redacted], but it stopped working after two weeks. After moving to a different country, I reached out to Sony in my new location. Despite initial difficulties at the service center, I persisted and was eventually informed that the seller needed to update the product purchase to activate the warranty. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach the seller for this update. I escalated my concerns to Sony, threatening to share my interactions on social media. Following this, I was instructed to obtain an international warranty card from the seller. Frustrated with the situation, I have informed Sony that if a resolution is not provided within a week, I will take legal action. Subsequently, I received a response from Sony.

On 12-30, my account got suspended on the PS4, and I received an email about it. My son was playing a game when another player used racial slurs and insulted him. This player not only cursed but also threatened to report my son for planning to report them back. I have evidence with screenshots of the offensive messages he sent my son. As a result, my account has been suspended twice now, and I am unsure of what steps to take next.

My sound system has stopped working again unexpectedly. Everything was fine last night, but this morning only the TV sound is functioning. The sound bar and headphone jack are not working at all. This has happened before, and last time tech support guided me through a complex troubleshooting process that resolved the issue. They also mentioned that this problem is known to occur occasionally. Unfortunately, I can't recall all the steps to fix it, and I'm quite frustrated that this keeps happening. The model number of my system is XBR-55X800H, and the serial number is [redacted]. I recently attempted to download an update on my device. Despite having plenty of space, about 50 gigabytes available, the 300mb update wasn't successful. After deleting two games, clearing up [redacted] gigabytes, the update began. However, I noticed in the "other" section, it indicates 82 gigabytes of unspecified content using up space without further details. I would appreciate any assistance in understanding what this "other" data consists of. Thank you for your help.

I purchased a Sony XBR49X800H on May 13, [redacted]. Since acquiring it, the TV has shut off on its own multiple times. I attempted to troubleshoot by unplugging it, resetting the cable box and Wi-Fi, and ensuring it had the latest updates, all to no avail. Sony customer service was unhelpful, with a representative speaking to me disrespectfully. Despite my profession as a nurse, my experience has been frustrating. Considering the $[redacted] spent on this TV, I am disappointed in the quality compared to my other Sony devices. My Sony TV is displaying an error message stating that I cannot access the TV guide because I am not connected to the internet. Despite having set up a new SurfBoard by Arris with a 3.0 cable modem & Wi-Fi router, I encountered issues with entering the Wi-Fi password (5G[redacted]) successfully. The on-screen keypad did not allow me to add or confirm the password properly, leading to lowercase instead of capital letters. Consequently, I am now without an internet connection. I reached out to Spectrum for assistance, but they stated that this is not their responsibility. Although I am still expected to pay for internet/Wi-Fi services. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My account was banned because a PlayStation Now subscription was activated and charged to me after I had canceled it almost five years ago. When I contacted customer service, they did not offer a refund or explain how it was reactivated. I then went to my bank to address the issue. I have been a loyal customer of Sony/PlayStation for over 15 years, with more than 10 years of active PlayStation Plus membership. There has been no activity on the PlayStation Now account. I received an email asking for $[redacted] to lift the ban, but I only got $69 back from my bank for the overcharged subscription. I am open to resolving this matter and would appreciate it if someone from management could contact me to discuss a solution.

I recently bought the Sony 700M Blu-ray player with the expectation that it could play both video and audio CDs at a high quality. I encountered an issue where it did not recognize a Blu-ray "Pure Audio" CD (specifically, Stan Getz Quartet jazz), stating it as an unsupported format. The player even labeled it as "Blu-ray" data CD. This has left me perplexed. Could it be that there is a particular setting or arrangement I am missing in the setup? Interestingly, my friend's Sony [redacted] has no trouble playing Blu-ray Pure Audio CDs smoothly. I wonder if the Sony 700M model is simply incapable of playing Pure Audio Blu-ray CDs.

Over the past weekend, I bought the PS5 and traded my PS4 at a GameStop in Newark, NJ. After setting up the PS5, I tried to upload my saved data from the PS4, but it required the PS4 to be present and on the same wifi network, which was no longer possible as I had already traded it in. When I went back to GameStop the following day to reclaim my PS4, I found out it had been wiped and sold. I am now contacting Sony to see if there's a way to recover my PS4 data and transfer it to the PS5. GameStop suggested reaching out to Sony as they might have separate backup servers. At the time, I didn't have PlayStation Plus. Please help me with this situation. My old PS4's serial number was: MC[redacted]67 Thank you.

I'm facing difficulty accessing my Playstore on PlayStation because I can't log in with the email used at the beginning. Even if I recall the password, I can't complete the 2-step verification because I don't have the old phone to receive the code. I can't access the account via live chat either due to email or user ID issues. My PlayStation username is (sunshine/Butter) and the email provided is [redacted] Despite attempting to recover the password through my Google account, it requires logging into the same email for the code, which is impossible without the old phone.

Hello, I am visually impaired, and headphones are essential for me. On February 18, [redacted], during a visit, my children gifted me Sony headphones from Saturn in Mönkebergstr. Hamburg, with receipt number [redacted] WH1000XN2BM. Recently, the left speaker suddenly stopped working. I only use the headphones in my room, so they are well taken care of. The service at Saturn was not very helpful; they did not even inspect the device to see if I might have done something wrong as I can't see the buttons or read the instructions.
