Since August [redacted], my ongoing streak with Snapchat user AlexJ2101 has repeatedly vanished. Initially, I contacted Snapchat support, and they managed to restore it. However, in the last two months, the streak has disappeared multiple times, despite our daily interactions. Snapchat informed me via email that they couldn’t recover our nearly [redacted]-day streak. Despite our consistent daily communication, the timer icon never showed up, and suddenly the streak was gone, leaving us frustrated. While Snapchat offered to restore it as a one-time courtesy, the disappearance wasn’t due to our negligence but seemed to be a recurring bug affecting not just this but other streaks as well. I recently lost a [redacted]-day snapstreak with my boyfriend. Despite reaching out through messages, emails, and tweets to Snapchat support, we only received a response stating that the streak could not be restored without any explanation. We put in a lot of effort to maintain the streak, and it was frustrating that a glitch on 28/09/18 prevented us from sending pictures and there was no timer indicating the streak was ending. Some acquaintances have had their streaks restored without issue, including one person who had two streaks restored in a day, one of which was under [redacted] days. A Snapchat user from my college harassed me via messages and later unfriended me, leading me to report the incident to student services. They instructed me to keep the messages as proof. I am frustrated because I lost almost all of my Snapchat streaks after sending snaps on time. The app deleted my streaks except for one with a friend, which doesn't make sense because I sent snaps as usual. I reached out to Snapchat support but received generic instructions on how streaks work, which I already know since I had streaks for over a month. They couldn't restore my streaks, but I care mostly about my streak with @sammysanrios. I want my streaks back, especially with my boyfriend. This issue was not my fault, as I sent the snaps correctly and had not even passed 24 hours.

I recently opened my Snapchat only to find that all my saved personal snaps, which hold many memories from months past, had disappeared without a trace. Recently, my grandfather passed away, and it has been extremely difficult for me as we shared a special bond. I have been focused on grieving and supporting my grandmother and mother, who are also deeply affected by our loss.
