I picked up a package from the Royal Mail Sorting Office on Newport Road in Stafford today due to insufficient postage. Upon inspection, the stamp appears to be valid, and the letter is the correct size and weight. There is a possibility that the sender may have reused an uncancelled stamp or used a forged one. It would be beneficial for customer service to specify the exact reason for the postage charge instead of just labeling it as an 'invalid stamp'. I had already paid for postage when I purchased the item, so there is no way to address this issue with the seller without proper clarification on what went wrong with the stamp. The staff at the sorting office couldn't provide an explanation, so having more detailed information on the postage due label would be helpful for both employees and customers. Clarifying the reason for the surcharge on the label could prevent sender fraud and reduce potential misunderstandings that may lead to verbal altercations with your staff. Please consider including more specific details on the postage due labels.

On Wednesday, Royal Mail attempted to deliver my parcel while I was away, leaving a 'something for you' card. I scheduled a new delivery for today, as confirmed via email for a time frame between 11.15 a.m. & 3.15 p.m. With this information, I was able to run an errand to pick up medicine. Surprisingly, upon returning home at 10 a.m., I found another 'something for you' card stating a failed delivery attempt at 9.37 a.m. I hope that Royal Mail will make a successful delivery today as promised. If not, I will need to reschedule. I am looking for compensation for this inconvenience or at the very least, an apology and an explanation from Royal Mail.

On February 23, [redacted], I sent an item via Royal Mail 1st class signed for. The recipient had purchased it on eBay. Despite sending two items to the same address, only one was delivered. The missing item is currently with Royal Mail but not moving in transit. The buyer is now requesting a refund through eBay, even after providing them with tracking information and screenshots of the Royal Mail tracking messages. This situation is unfair to me as I will incur a loss, and the item may never reach its destination. I believe Royal Mail should expedite the delivery to resolve this matter promptly.

I sent several parcels on February 15th, February 21st, and February 25th, opting for tracked and signed delivery by adding an extra £1.00. However, despite paying for the service, as per the tracking information, three parcels are still in transit while others have been delivered. I find it frustrating that Royal Mail does not provide the expected tracking details for the additional fee. Additionally, a previous parcel sent to Stapleton, Bristol before Christmas, also using tracked and signed for delivery, was left on the recipient's doorstep in the rain. The service provided is disappointing considering the cost of the upgraded delivery option.

I recently received a 'grey card' from Royal Mail requesting a £2 fee for an item with insufficient postage. Despite some differences from the online example, the REF on the card is [redacted]-SU. To be cautious of scams, I added £2 in stamps and returned it to Salisbury Delivery Office on 07.03.22 as directed on the website. I got the card back from the Royal Mail postman on 10.03.22 with the stamps franked but no further details. I am still awaiting the delivery of the item for which the initial fee was requested. Could you please confirm the existence of such an item and provide an estimated delivery date? Thank you. - Roger S.

I did not receive the item. I need a document for an eBay refund. The tracking number 0212FF42021BE55B shows the item was delivered to my workplace but it hasn't reached the reception area. The school nearby was also checked, and they did not receive the package either. The intended recipient's details are Mark H. at St. John's Catholic Comprehensive School, Rochester Road, Gravesend, Kent DA12 2JW, UK. Please provide a document confirming the item was not delivered to this address, preferably on your letterhead. This is not a dispute; I just need this document to claim a refund from eBay. I can receive the document via email or in physical form to scan it. Thank you.

Yesterday, April 12th, I received a text from what seemed to be Royal Mail stating that I missed a delivery. I was then prompted to follow re-delivery instructions. Being cautious due to previous scam attempts, I hesitantly tried to proceed. However, when asked for my bank details to pay a £1.00 fee for redelivery, I immediately left the website. I've tried multiple times to contact Royal Mail via phone and online, but without a missed delivery card with a reference number, I can't get through. The lack of service from Royal Mail is disappointing. What steps should I take next? Any help would be appreciated!

On the afternoon of February 19th, I received a book I ordered from Amazon, hand-delivered by a neighbor. Unfortunately, it was not secured in a package and was left atop a bin outside my flat. Thankfully, my neighbor found the delivery note and passed it on to me. It seems the book had been left unattended in front of my door instead of being placed inside the designated cupboard merely 4 feet away, making it an easy target for theft. When I raised my concerns with the seller, Papercavalier, they attributed the delivery to Royal Mail. It's frustrating that such careless delivery practices could lead to items being left out in the open. I urge for more responsible handling and use of the bin cupboard for deliveries in the future.
Sincerely,
John G.

This afternoon, on April 19th, a neighbor kindly handed me a book I had ordered from Amazon. The book was found outside, not in a package, resting on a waste bin in the street. The neighbor recognized it was meant for me because the delivery note was still attached. It appears the package was likely delivered to my flat that morning but was left in plain view on the ground in front of my door instead of being placed inside the nearby bin cupboard or concealed from view. It's puzzling why proper delivery procedures weren't followed to ensure the package's safety and prevent potential theft.

I purchased an item from lowenergysupermarket for £24.99 with £2.95 shipping through Hermes Standard on April 1, [redacted]. After not receiving my order, I contacted the seller on April 16. They provided a tracking number ([redacted][redacted]6FDF) showing Royal Mail Parcels delivered it on April 9 at 11:34. Despite checking with my local parcels depot and neighbors on April 20, the item was not located. I informed the seller and requested they follow up with Royal Mail as they are responsible for ensuring delivery. I am still awaiting a response from the supplier about the missing item.

After waiting on the line for 40 minutes and being abruptly disconnected, I am feeling frustrated. The gray card I received indicated I had underpaid for a letter awaiting collection. I followed the provided instructions by affixing a second-class stamp for 68p and a first-class stamp for 95p, totaling £1.63. To my dismay, the letter has been returned to me. I am not proficient with computers and making the trip for collection would be inconvenient. I have already paid £1.50 fee, so I am unsure what my next steps should be. It is disappointing that the postal service is facing such issues, especially with basic math. How can I retrieve my paid-for letter now?

I have been in touch with Royal Mail regarding my issue, but it remains unresolved. On April 1, [redacted], I made a purchase from lowenergysupermarket for a draught excluder valued at £24.99 plus £2.95 for Hermes Standard tracked delivery. The supplier provided me with tracking reference number [redacted][redacted]6F D F. According to the tracking information, Royal Mail delivered the item on April 9, but I never received it. Despite reaching out to the supplier multiple times to explain that I did not get the item, and even checking with neighbors and my local Warrenpoint Post Office, they insist the tracking shows it was delivered. They have not offered to send a replacement item or investigate further with the carrier responsible for delivery. I am at a loss of £27.94. Can someone please assist me with this situation?

I dropped off a parcel for Hobbs London at The Post Office in the Gallery Shopping Centre in Bristol on April 4th around 11:45 AM. Brian assisted me at the self-service area as the counter staff were busy. Although I used a prepaid returns label from Hobbs, I was denied a tracking receipt under the assurance that the barcode on the label would suffice for tracking. Hobbs claims they did not receive the parcel, and without proof, they refuse to reimburse me for the £53 dress. I am requesting a review of the CCTV footage and barcode tracking in your system to resolve this issue. Normally, I receive a receipt, but I trusted the advice of your employee. I await your response and investigation. Thank you, Margaret Herbert (Mrs.).

I am experiencing an issue with a parcel I sent to Ireland that requires a customs charge payment. If I choose not to pay, it will be returned to me as the sender. Unfortunately, I failed to include my return address on the parcel. An Post informed me that in such situations, it will be sent to the Royal Mail returns branch in the UK. How can I retrieve my parcel from the returns branch? Will they reach out to inform me once they have it? I am unsure about the process and have been unsuccessful in my attempts to contact the returns branch through Royal Mail's online platforms and help sites.

On 07/05/22, a package was received from the Clacton-On-Sea post office with a postage due notice of £1.50 labeled with reference No '[redacted]', which was promptly paid via PayPal under Royal Mail Ref No: 3-[redacted][redacted]. Upon inspection, the package contained stamps totaling £2.45 in value and was marked as second class postage. Despite paying the required amount, a refund is being sought for the additional £1.50 charge imposed for the package. The issue has been raised with the Clacton on Sea postal sorting office and it has been suggested to contact the revenues department for the refund. The discrepancy in postage charges needs to be addressed to rectify the situation promptly.

I was a victim of a scam amounting to approximately [redacted] Euros. I fell for fake PayPal emails indicating payment for an online sale I made, prompting me to send my laptop to the U.K. Unfortunately, I never received the money as promised.
I have filed criminal complaints with various authorities including the British and German police, as well as DHL, DHL Parcel UK, Parcelforce, and Royal Mail. Despite numerous attempts to reach out through emails, messages on social media, and phone calls (though initially struggled with a bot), I have only received a response from stop&return@parcelforce recently. The parcel arrived in the U.K. on Monday but cannot be tracked through Parcelforce or any other service.
Feeling increasingly desperate every day, I have encountered unhelpful responses directing me to call different places without resolution. I am in need of assistance urgently to either halt the delivery of the parcel, possibly surrendering it to the police for investigation, or return it to me. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am consistently experiencing issues with my parcels being delivered to the incorrect address. Shipments are mistakenly sent to Orchard Farm House instead of Orchard Court. Fortunately, the individual at Orchard Court has helped return my parcels in instances where they received mine. The main problem seems to be with the postal code. Inputting WR11 7RP directs deliveries about 2 miles away, while using WR11 7RQ brings them to the correct address at my gate. Numerous packages have gone missing, including a valuable tracked and signed for item approximately a week ago. Royal Mail has been unable to trace its delivery location. This last missing package was worth £[redacted], and it is not always feasible to replace lost items. I urge for a resolution to these delivery errors, as I am extremely frustrated by the ongoing mix-ups. Regards, Mike Kendrick at Orchard Farm on Longdon Hill in Wickhamford, Evesham, Worcestershire, with postcode WR11 7RP.

I sent a women's short leather jacket via 2nd class signed for delivery, and the tracker indicates it was delivered. However, the recipient, Sophie, reached out saying she hasn't received it yet. The parcel was sent from the post office located in the Pound and Max Store in Collier Row Romford. It was addressed to Miss Sophie Mawala at 29 Sulgrave Gardens W6 7RA. The delivery note shows initials JJ, SM, and possibly D. I've tried using the online forms, but my address isn't recognized. Sophie checked with neighbors, but no one received the package, and there was no delivery card left. I either need the package located and sent to the correct address or compensation. Thank you, Sandra Poulley (M).

I am feeling quite frustrated as a customer today. The postal delivery person on our route is in need of replacement. Every Friday, we receive important statements that are essential to us. I recently ordered a new SIM card from EE, but I am unable to use it since it has not arrived. Despite the bank saying the statements have been sent, we have not received them. Additionally, EE has sent us two SIM cards within two weeks, both of which have not reached us. Letters addressed to Hardhorn Road Poulton are mistakenly delivered to Hardhorn Way, even though they have different postal codes. This mix-up has caused us to lose money as we can't address issues without the statements. As pensioners, we are concerned about our mail delivery and the possibility of it going to the wrong address. Others in Hardhorn Way are also facing similar challenges.

Hello,
I shipped a package to Bulgaria on 23/08/[redacted] from the post office branch in Ashford, Kingsnorth Road, Ashford TN23 6HZ. Despite paying 11.40 GBP, when it returned on 01/09/22, it was marked "No Stamps." I visited the same post office and was met with rudeness, with the employee claiming to have stamped the parcel and blaming Royal Mail for the loss. They refused to take the parcel back and pointed me to the local RM depot, who could not assist and advised trying another post office.
I ended up posting the parcel at another branch with an additional fee of 15.20 GBP. It's unclear who is at fault, but it doesn't seem to be mine. I am seeking a refund of 11.40 GBP to my bank account at least, backed up by all receipts.
Regards,
G
