I'm curious about the Roku homepage displayed on my TV screen. I want to know how much control I have over my account settings. Roku keeps suggesting shows and movies to "My Feed" that I'm not interested in or following. I'd like to remove these unwanted recommendations. If "My Feed" is more like Roku's feed and not customized to my preferences, please clarify this for me. I've called Roku multiple times today but received conflicting information. The phone menu options are limited, and I couldn't find the help I needed. Can you please provide clear instructions on how to stop Roku from pushing unwanted channels and shows on my account? I own a Roku Premiere that is between 10 to 15 months old. It's situated in my living room, 6 feet away from my wifi repeater (RE450) and 3 feet from my range extender DAP [redacted].
My Roku has not been connecting to any wifi networks in my home for the past 6 weeks, which I suspect may be due to the upgrade to the new 10.5 firmware.
I noticed that your online system does not recognize my Roku serial number, as shown in the attached picture.
While all other devices in my home can connect to one of the seven networks I have, I have tried various troubleshooting steps such as resetting the Roku, restarting the network, and updating the firmware multiple times without success.
After spending hours each day for the past two weeks trying to resolve this issue, I believe the only solution left is to request a new Roku device. This would greatly improve my situation.

Hello, I have had my Roku stick for 13 months now, and I have been experiencing issues with overheating. Even after purchasing the supposed fix, the problem persists. The device frequently searches for a signal, causing constant buffering during shows. Despite my Wi-Fi signal showing as good, Roku constantly searches for a signal. This has been a frustrating experience as others I know with Roku sticks don't encounter these same issues. I would like to exchange my stick as I suspect it has been damaged due to overheating. I initially bought the stick based on a Best Buy salesman's recommendation, but was surprised to find additional fees required to watch TV. I recently noticed charges on my account from Roku for Showtime, HBO, and Disney Plus that were taken automatically, overdrafting my account. This has never happened before and caused me to lose the funds I had set aside for my son's Christmas present. I am truly disappointed and heartbroken as this has significantly impacted our holiday. I usually do not have automatic payments set up; I prefer to call and make the payments myself. It is unsettling that this has occurred. I recently noticed two unauthorized charges from Roku on my bank statement on December 10th, totaling $39.38. I contacted my credit union, and was informed that when I started using my Roku television, a membership for CBS Interactive and the Roku channel was initiated without my consent. I do not use the CBS app, as I already subscribe to streaming services like BET Plus and Netflix. I do not want to continue using Roku TV. I signed up for a free 1-month trial with HBO Max on December 16, [redacted]. I am having trouble accessing HBO Max on my Smart TV and MacBook Air.
After signing up, I received a confirmation email from Roku on 12/16 welcoming me to HBO Max. HBO Max is also listed as one of my trial subscriptions. Despite this, I have not been able to access the trial for a week now. I need assistance to resolve this issue promptly.

We recently had a subscription for HBO Max under my daughter's account information. Since her subscription has expired, we would like to update the payment details to ours, as we are eligible for the service through our Cricket Wireless membership. Despite being able to access HBO Max on our phones and computer, we are facing difficulties using it on our Roku Express. I recently subscribed to Paramount+ through my Roku, mainly to watch [redacted] and other programs, but I can't load any shows on Paramount+. After frustrating conversations with their support, they blame Roku for having my email listed twice on the account causing the issue. I'm not sure if this is true or not, as I have no problems with other channels on Roku. They recommend contacting Roku for assistance. The error message I receive on Paramount+ is “Error - Unfortunately an error occurred during playback please try again.” I'm on a tech support list with Paramount+ but not confident it will be resolved. I own a Roku TV and two other smart TVs. I recently purchased the Roku Ultra and the Roku Soundbar. I am unsure if I need both devices since the Roku Ultra has a Wi-Fi extender. Can I just get a remote for this feature or do I still need both devices for my smart TVs? Unfortunately, I haven't been able to set up the gifts yet, but I am curious if both devices are necessary for my setup.

Despite attempting various solutions like restarting the device and router, as well as relocating the Roku closer to the Wi-Fi router, the issue persists. The error message indicates a connection problem preventing the system update from completing, stalling at 50%.

I have two properties, one in Philadelphia, PA, and the other in Longboat Key, Florida. Currently, I am in Florida. I tried connecting my ROKU to the TV, and it seemed to connect to the WiFi successfully. However, when I tried logging into Netflix, I received an error message stating, "Not connected to the Internet. Your Roku player is not connected to the internet." Hello, my name is Dennis S. I purchased a Roku Express box a few months ago, which was initially working well. However, I started experiencing difficulties playing movies on the IMDB channel. I have a question about using Roku with YouTube TV. Recently, I noticed that after 6 hours of inactivity, when I turn on the TV, the Roku splash screen comes up. Is there a way to skip this and go straight to the last channel I was watching on YouTube TV?
I have also encountered an issue with Fox News where during commercial breaks, the screen goes blank with "Ad Info" in the upper left corner, and the station doesn't come back on. Are there any solutions available for this problem?

I recently added Paramount to our Roku account. After watching a free episode, we tried to subscribe but encountered problems signing in. For the past three days, we've been struggling to log in.
