Recent doubts have crept in, suggesting I might have been interacting with an imposter. Despite my distress, I find it hard to accept. I urge the platform to investigate thoroughly, as I fear being deceived. I seek a personal response addressing my concerns rather than a generic email. I recently upgraded my account two days ago, and since then, I've encountered numerous issues with the app. All the messages I've received post-upgrade seem to have disappeared without my deleting them. I was in touch with a user named amparo8549golden, but her profile now shows as removed or banned, even though I know this is inaccurate based on other searches I've conducted. Trying to access my messages or send new ones results in error messages, claiming no internet access, even though my phone connectivity is fine. I updated the POF app, but the problems persist. I am frustrated and disappointed with the service I've paid for. I would appreciate it if these issues were addressed promptly. I am particularly concerned about retrieving messages from amparo8549golden, and if that's not possible, I'd like to know how I can reach out to them outside the app to stay in touch. Thank you.

I am having difficulty accessing my account. A technician claiming to be from Google provided a phone number, 1-[redacted], and after approximately two hours of remote access to my phone, requested I purchase a prepaid card for $3. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the technician abruptly ended the call. My name is Mike McKeon, and my user ID is mac2800. The account is around five months old. I've been attempting to reset my password for a month now, and unfortunately, the link they've been sending me isn't working. I've checked my junk mail and even tried copying and pasting the link with no luck. I am feeling extremely frustrated by this situation. Despite receiving emails and messages about potential matches, I am unable to access the site. If this issue persists, I am considering reporting them to my bank to request a refund since I am not receiving the service I paid for.

I have been attempting to create a profile on your site for the past two days, but have encountered issues. After filling in all required information and clicking on "create profile," I am redirected to a page prompting me to download the app (which I have already done) or continue to the website. Despite receiving multiple emails confirming the creation of 4 or 5 profiles, I am unable to log in to any of them. My most recent attempt allowed me to upload a photo, but upon trying to edit the profile, I was once again redirected to the same page asking me to download the app or continue to the website. This has resulted in the disappearance of the profile each time. I only require one profile and kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue.

I am writing to inform you of a scammer present on POF by the name of Karl Hermann using the username Wadman45. Initially, he appeared charming and convincing, but after a few weeks, he claimed to have phone issues while working in Turkey and asked for American iTunes cards, indicating a scam. Upon confronting him, he blocked me and is now back on the site targeting other women. I have evidence of his actions and would like assistance from POF to address this matter. I cancelled my subscription, but I was charged more than the $2.97 within the two-day cancellation window instead of three days. When I inquired about the fraud department's number, the representative alleged my account was being hacked and demanded $[redacted] to resolve it. I requested a claims number and was verbally abused before being disconnected, while my card was charged without my permission. I did not authorize the charge, and now I feel like a victim of identity theft at the hands of P.O.F. I am seeking a refund for the unauthorized transaction and requesting an investigation by the BBB. Such incidents should not occur to others. Thank you.

I have been trying to contact you about my issue without any response. I signed up for a one-month subscription, but you have charged me for a six-month subscription. I would like a refund to my card promptly. If I do not hear back within five days, I will seek legal advice and contact the Better Business Bureau. Your TV ads promote a free site, but in reality, you are charging exorbitant fees. I am hopeful for a swift resolution, or I will have to pursue other actions. Despite attempting to reset my password multiple times, I haven't received any reset password emails. I've checked my spam folder, but the emails are not there. Oddly, although the system claims my email is not registered, I still receive notifications, including "meet me" and messages, at that email address. Hello. I created a profile on POF in July, but it got deleted, which left me confused. I made another profile at the end of July or the beginning of August, received registration confirmation, and emails from interested guys. However, my account was deleted again, stating no account was found for my registered email. I discovered it could be due to the same IP address being linked to previous accounts. As a college student living in a rental house, I can't control past or future account setups by other residents. Therefore, I set up a third account using cellular data last night, hoping to bypass the IP address issue, but it was still deleted. I'm disappointed with how the site is managed as it seems to unintentionally target genuine users. On August 8, [redacted], at 8:13 p.m., my profile was hacked. After several failed attempts to reset my password due to a page error, I finally regained access after hours of trying. I promptly changed my password and updated my profile with the hacking incident. I received an email about a password reset request, but the change happened before I could act. I struggled to find the option to delete my profile, so I temporarily hid it. Despite reaching out to POF via email, the issue persisted. Today around 4:00 p.m., I discovered my password had been changed again without notification. I have been locked out since then and cannot reset my password or access my account. When I attempted to log in, I was informed by Gmail of suspicious activity and changed my password. However, I have been unable to access my account which I just upgraded on 8/9. Upon checking, I noticed someone else's picture on my profile and some details were altered. I have tried to reset my password but have not received an email for the reset. Additionally, POF mentioned that my email was changed. This has occurred to me before on this site. After sharing emails, a potential hack prompted me to change my password. Subsequently, POF notified me of an email change, and I couldn't recover my account. I created an account today with "WhatsYourSchtick" but I'm unable to log in for the first time due to password issues. Unfortunately, the email I used is invalid as I opted out of receiving emails from the site (no offense). I'm quite attached to the unique username I chose and would prefer not to re-register. Hello. I've been using the Plenty of Fish dating site for a few years without any issues. I'm curious why my account keeps getting deleted. I've tried creating multiple accounts to make friends and offer free tarot readings without any inappropriate content, but they keep getting removed. Despite being married and clearly stating that on my profile, my wife has never faced any issues. However, she receives disrespectful messages regularly, including explicit photos. It seems there are contradictions in the site rules regarding the acceptance of married individuals. Furthermore, the platform seems biased towards women, offering them more free features than men. The double standards and greediness of the site have become apparent, making it disappointing compared to how it used to be. While I won't be returning, I wanted to share our frustrating experience.
