Hi there, I recently encountered an issue with my POF profile. Initially, I had my picture, but when I applied an app to add emojis to it, the platform deemed it unacceptable. I am considering using pictures of my dogs instead. I prefer not to have my photo displayed on my profile due to the nature of my high-risk job and the need for confidentiality. I only share my picture privately with men I chat with. I feel uncomfortable having my image visible to everyone without my authorization, especially given the sensitive nature of my workplace.

I have noticed that when individuals view my profile and I message them, they often do not respond. Additionally, on the "Meet Me" feature, some users mention not to click the button but to message them instead. I have encountered being blocked by someone after changing my profile information multiple times. It seems that being separated is a barrier to chatting even though others on the site are also divorced or separated. I believe improvements are needed on the website. It would be beneficial to require users to specify their exact location rather than general areas like "Tampa." I have requested in my profile for people viewing it to message me, but it appears that this message is overlooked. A messaging system similar to Facebook Messenger could be a useful addition, and I urge the site administrators to address instances where users request to communicate through email off the platform.

Good afternoon, I hope you are well. I will try to keep this short. I want to delete my account because it's becoming more trouble than it's worth. I have a lot going on in my life and misunderstandings on this site are causing issues. I am a straightforward person, but others' contradictions are becoming overwhelming. I want to remain true to myself and others. I don't have the time or energy to waste. People using their past experiences to judge unfairly is frustrating. I am a busy lady and don't have time to message many men. Trust issues in a new relationship are difficult to overcome. I tried to check information about a man I met and found him online, but he denied it. I mistakenly continued checking and he caught me online, leading to confusion. This drama is why I want to leave, but I can't seem to delete my account. I have tried to reset my password, but it may be linked to a different email I no longer have access to. Please assist me. I have attempted to sign up for your service multiple times in the past few weeks. However, each time I received an email confirming my account setup, but when I tried to log in within 24 hours, the system indicated that my username/password was not recognized. It asked me to enter my email address to reset the password even though I saved my password during signup. Despite submitting my email for the reset, I did not receive any emails. I tried using three different email addresses because I was previously on the POF site, but encountered the same issue with all of them. Could you please delete any accounts associated with the following email addresses: [redacted], [redacted], [redacted]? This will allow me to make a fresh start. I have been using POF on and off since [redacted]. Lately, I have been unable to log into my account even though I am sure my email, sign-in name, and password are correct. I called a number provided and was told to pay $5 for security reasons, which seemed suspicious as I have never encountered this before. I have not received a reset email despite waiting for a couple of days. Although the terms mention the account could be deactivated, I keep receiving alerts about messages and meetings which makes me suspect my account has been hacked. I am concerned about a potential compromise but am eager to regain access to my account under the username SweetDori.

I am experiencing an issue with my POF profile. A person named Henry has accessed my account without authorization, deleting my content and using it to contact multiple women. I have reached out to the affected individuals to warn them about this. I kindly request assistance in removing Henry from my account and restoring my original profile. Additionally, I would appreciate it if my extended membership could be adjusted to end in October as initially intended. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I recently reactivated my POF account and noticed some changes in the system. Unfortunately, I misunderstood the messaging feature initially. I received a 'wants to meet you' notification from WhoYahGonnaCall42. Due to my free account status, I couldn't view it. The following day, I attempted to express my lack of interest in a relationship by sending a frown face :- ( , but I now realize it may have been misinterpreted as rude. I wanted to clarify my intention to WhoYahGonnaCall42 today; however, I discovered that I've been blocked. If there's any way to convey my explanation and apology to her, I would appreciate your assistance. I am concerned she may have misunderstood my gestures. I am having trouble logging into my account. When I try to reset my password using my email, the site says to use another email or that my email is invalid. Also, when I try to create a new username, the site doesn't recognize it or says it's already taken. I even tried using an unconventional username like "BlueSkyNomand," but the site still won't accept it. I couldn't find a contact number for support either. I had my POF profile deleted a while back, and I still don't know why. I am certain I didn't violate any rules and suspect my account was compromised. POF support assured me they resolved the issue and advised me to either log in or create a new profile, but I couldn't recall which option they suggested. Despite numerous attempts, even using a different email (reluctantly), I haven't succeeded. I preferred using my original email and patiently waited months for a resolution. I seek POF's assistance in rectifying the situation to enable me to create a new profile, as I deserve clarification on the sudden deletion of my account.

I have been using the POF dating app for a while now. The first time I paid, it was for a 90-day subscription, which unexpectedly ended before the full period. I decided to upgrade my account again, but a week ago, I suddenly lost access to the app. The customer service representative I spoke to yesterday advised me to purchase a $[redacted] Apple card from Walmart, which I find unusual and costly. I recently reactivated my account and unfortunately fell victim to a scam. I connected with a woman who claimed to be interested in a relationship but eventually asked for money under false pretenses. This individual convinced me to provide personal information under the guise of removing me from the site. It was only later that I realized her true intentions. I declined to provide any financial assistance and she disappeared. Can my account be reinstated since I was deceived into deleting it? I have been attempting to access my account for weeks now, and although I selected "forgot password" (even though I didn't forget it), I have not received any password reset emails at all. My username is "yerit4me" and my email address is "[redacted]" This issue has occurred before, and it's extremely frustrating to deal with login problems. The problem persists even though it indicates it has been resolved. I have tried on both the computer and the phone app, but the issue remains unresolved.

I am very disappointed with the POF dating site. Every time I connect with a woman, she ends up lying and asking for money. It's frustrating because I am trying to build a real relationship on the platform. I have encountered five females who all have a similar tactic of asking for money once we get close. It's upsetting to deal with these fake accounts on POF. I feel like I need to report this to the police because it's a serious issue. I've been on the site for 3 to 4 months based on a friend's recommendation, but instead of finding someone genuine, I keep encountering these scammers. I've even sent money to one of them, which I regret. I hope this situation can be addressed to prevent others from falling victim to these deceitful practices on the site.

I created a profile a couple of weeks ago. A couple of days later, it said I had the wrong password. I clicked reset password to receive an email to reset it, however, I never received the email. I tried 4-5 times over the next couple of days. I know it’s the right email because POF sent me an email stating my new profile had been set up. So, fast forward to today, I decided to try again. I made another profile with the exact same information and password, an email was sent saying everything was set up. It worked a couple of times, and now again it says I have the wrong password. I repeated the whole process again, clicked reset password, and it told me it was sent to my email. However, I never received it. I did receive another email today stating that it was set up correctly, but then I never received the reset password. I just want to take my profile down. I don’t know why I can’t seem to make this work. Maybe this process wasn’t for me. Could you please help me?

I've been using POF for over a decade without any problems until recently. My profile was suddenly hacked, leading me to cancel and create a new one. However, I faced the same issue again within a week. Despite contacting support and being told the problems were resolved, the same login issue persisted with each new account I created. I've always followed POF's rules, so I'm baffled by these ongoing problems. Even my account created last night is inaccessible, showing an error message stating "wrong user or password." I recently discovered that my account has been deleted. After reviewing the terms and rules thoroughly, I have identified a few possible reasons for this: 1. Someone may have reported me for being fake. I am willing to provide a photo of myself to confirm my identity. 2. If someone reported me for being underage (an issue I faced on another platform), I can submit my ID showing my birth year is [redacted], confirming I am 24 years old despite appearing younger due to a developmental disorder. 3. The ban may have been due to sharing personal information. While I shared my ID privately with members to verify my age, I redacted my name and address to protect my privacy, ensuring no personal details were disclosed. Losing access to my account has been distressing as it was my primary means of social interaction. I kindly request that my account be reinstated, or alternatively, permit me to create a new account as this deletion appears to be an error. I am prepared to provide any necessary verification photos or IDs. Moving forward, I recommend implementing a system for users to submit such information preemptively to avoid accidental bans.

I have noticed a pattern where I receive a notification on POF Alert about someone wanting to meet me, but upon clicking, a pop-up appears asking for payment. When I try to go back to the user, they are no longer there. This makes me concerned that the app might be manipulating users into signing up for fake interactions. I don't mind subscribing, but it must be genuine. Can you assure me that accounts are active and legitimate before payment? Also, what is the refund policy if there are concerns of scam or fake accounts?
