I created a POF account yesterday with the username Shelly021977. Today, I experienced issues signing in and requested a reset link via email, which I never received. I then created a new account as Shelly7702, but noticed my profile was hidden and the uploaded picture was not displaying. After resolving the profile visibility, the picture remained hidden. Shortly after, I faced the same sign-in issue as with my original account and never received the reset email. I am troubled by the site's security and wonder if my accounts have been compromised. I seek advice on how to proceed and if my email security might also be at risk.

I am confused as to why my account gets deleted shortly after creating it. Despite my efforts to provide valid information and appropriate photos, my account continually gets removed. I am respectful in my interactions and do not engage in any offensive behavior. I was considering upgrading to a paid account but hesitate to do so if my account will be deleted again. It seems unfair that other users can report my account as fake simply because I choose not to respond to their messages or fulfill their demands. I am genuine in my interactions, and I am puzzled as to why this keeps happening.

On February 25th, I downloaded the POF application and enjoyed about an hour of using it. However, I encountered an issue where the app logged me out and I couldn't log back in despite numerous attempts. I also did not receive any password reset link via email. After researching, I found out that my profile might have been deactivated, which I believe was a mistake.
Over the last two days, I have had to re-register multiple times, only to be logged out shortly after registering, despite receiving a verification code. I even tried creating a new account, but I couldn't send or receive messages. I'm disappointed by the lack of a customer service number for POF, especially considering the app's large user base. I hope for a prompt resolution to my issue so I can continue using the app to meet new people. Thank you in advance for addressing this matter swiftly.

I created my account on my phone three days ago, and everything was working fine until I got logged out. When I tried to log back in, it said my password was incorrect, even though I use the same password for everything. I requested a password reset but never received the email. After trying a few times, I made a new account, but the same issue happened. I even tried creating an account on my computer, thinking it was a phone problem, but I still couldn't log in. I've noticed that even before logging off, I don't receive any notifications. I've met interesting people on there and would like to keep talking to them.

I was in the middle of chatting with a potential match, making plans to meet. However, when I locked my phone screen and returned to the app, he had vanished from my inbox. I cannot find him by searching his username or through the chat history. It's as if he has disappeared from POF. I understand that deleted users usually show as 'Deleted User,' and when someone blocks you, you can still see them but cannot send messages. Yesterday afternoon, on Feb 27th, I managed to log into my account with no issues. However, when I tried to log in again around 6 pm, I was directed back to the login screen, which has only happened a few times before. Despite my username being filled in automatically, when I entered my password it was not accepted, even when trying my two usual passwords. I attempted to reset my password by entering my associated email address, but I have yet to receive any reset instructions. This delay in receiving the email is very frustrating, especially considering my 10-year history with the platform. I created a POF account on Wednesday when I wasn't feeling well and signed out before sleep. On Thursday, I tried to log in, but my password didn't work. I attempted to reset it but did not receive the reset email from POF after trying all three of my email addresses. I'm eager to regain access to my POF account as I had enjoyable conversations and messages waiting. On Saturday, I encountered issues with logging into my account. Despite multiple attempts to contact you through email, the problem persists. The computer system suggested creating a new account, which I attempted, but the login issue persists. Please resolve this by following these steps: My username is Tablemax, and the password is [redacted], initially created on 2/17. All my important messages are stored there. Kindly restore my account to its state from Saturday. Following the login trouble, I created a new Tablemax account; feel free to delete the one generated yesterday as it does not function. Similarly, attempts with another account named 5 aces were unsuccessful. Kindly delete all profiles except the original one from 2/17 to preserve my messages. Hello, I recently upgraded my POF membership, but I am now experiencing difficulties signing in to the platform. Despite changing my password multiple times, the sign-in boxes continue to display errors in red, indicating that my information is not being recognized. This issue started after I upgraded my membership. I am considering requesting a full refund as per the 72-hour clause applicable to the three-month membership I purchased, along with the 10 tokens. Just a few hours ago, I upgraded my POF membership and paid for three months of premium features. However, now I am unable to sign in and access my paid membership benefits. Despite changing my password multiple times, I still cannot use the service. I have seen others report the same issue online and I am concerned about potential fraudulent activity by POF. If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter to my credit union's fraud department. I was finally able to access POF, but I am still unsure about what caused the initial issue.

There is a female user, SandyFine, on POF who repeatedly reports my account when she sees me online. She once suggested meeting in Poughkeepsie, NY, but I avoided it and shared my phone number, a regrettable decision. She contacted me via Kik and WhatsApp, calling early in the morning for explicit conversations and revealing surgical scars. I lost interest, which upset her, leading to further attempts to interfere with my account. Her actions are unwarranted, and I wish for this harassment to cease. Some individuals on the site engage in inappropriate behavior, like sexually flirting then reporting others maliciously. This behavior, particularly among women aged 50 to 65, is concerning and reflects deeper issues. I am frustrated by being targeted in this way and seek a resolution to stop this unwarranted interference in my online interactions.

I signed up for my POF account. After creating a password, I was able to sign in and check my email. However, every time I signed out and tried to sign back in, it kept telling me my password was incorrect. I reset the password numerous times but kept encountering the same issue. Now, when I try to reset my password, I'm not receiving the link in my email like before. It seems like my email address may have been changed without my knowledge. I can't access my account anymore. A few days ago, I started receiving numerous emails from women on the site, ranging from Nigeria to Austria. Despite not recognizing these places, I noticed a common phrase in all the messages - "hi there." After receiving about 20 emails from different women, my account suddenly got shut down. Now, I'm unable to access my account and reset my password. I have been using the email address associated with my Plenty of Fish account, "Sexy Love [redacted]." My name is Michael L. and I have used this account for quite some time. I'm not sure if the issue lies with me entering the wrong password under "Sexy Love" or if there's another problem. My email address is all lowercase.

I suspect that the POF website is now being infiltrated by men based in the Middle East. They are using fake pictures and claiming to be located nearby or in the USA. Whenever you suggest talking over the phone, they mention being deployed to the Middle East. They always push for communicating through email or another method without calling. Their lack of knowledge about the US is concerning. It seems like they have found a way to target women in the US through this platform. I joined POF to meet local people, but this issue keeps coming up. Shouldn't POF have a more thorough screening process for their users? The site seems to be flooded with men from the Middle East trying to connect with people like me, and I wish it would be addressed. I'm genuinely worried about the safety of this platform and thinking about warning others that it might not be secure to meet men unless POF improves its screening procedures. Would appreciate some insights on this matter.
