I recently signed up for a POF membership to find a suitable companion. My user name was FromDubai. Due to safety concerns, I have since deleted my account. I was disappointed to discover that another member, Daviddoo, who claimed to be single, is actually married. During our email exchanges, he presented himself as a decent gentleman named David and provided me with his phone number: [redacted]. He suggested meeting for coffee, but when I called him, he admitted he was married and looking for something casual. This behavior goes against POF's guidelines.

I came across a profile on Plenty of Fish from someone claiming to be a military man named babyfaceditalian62. Their profile seemed genuine, but when we started texting, they signed off as Lucas with a completely different writing style that made me suspicious. I believe this person may have stolen an innocent man's profile. I use the name Dottieswiss on the site and if you could pass along the message to the real owner of the profile, Newton, I would appreciate it. It's important to look into this to prevent others from being scammed. The scammer provided the phone number [redacted]. Please investigate this further. I have been unable to access my account for over a year, possibly closer to two. I suspect it may have been hacked as I recall a conversation with someone at POF about this. Unfortunately, they did not provide any assistance in recovering or securing my account.
Each time I try to log in or reset my password, I do not receive any emails. When attempting to create a new profile, any username I enter is rejected as already taken, even seemingly random combinations.
My main concerns are:
1) Why am I facing issues that feel targeted or discriminatory?
2) My email has never had any problems except with POF.
3) Past emails to POF have gone unanswered, leaving me frustrated.
4) I have considered upgrading to a paid membership, but how can I if my concerns are not addressed?

I have been using POF for a while now, but today I couldn't log in. It said my email was changed this morning, which wasn't done by me. I received around 70 messages within 30 minutes, and it seems like the person who accessed my account engaged in conversations. I am unable to access the messages as the account seems to be hacked. This situation is very concerning, especially with my children at home. My username is trudiedee. I have tried creating a new account to find the hacker, but without the ability to search by username, it has become a challenging task. I am puzzled as to how my email was changed without my knowledge, and I am worried about our safety. I hope you can help me resolve this issue and shut down the unauthorized access. I encountered an issue with my account where I couldn't log in suddenly. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I didn't receive any emails. Concerned about a possible hack, I created a new account. Upon informing support about my profile editing troubles and hack concerns, I was unexpectedly logged out again. Despite receiving a successful registration email at 2:45am UK time, I can't access my account at 4am. Repeated email attempts for password resets yield no results. The rapid hacking of my new account within 2 hours seems implausible. I am unable to delete my account without access and find the situation distressing. I decided to switch back to your basic service from the upgraded one, but I couldn't find how to do it on the website. Despite not choosing to extend my upgrade, I was still billed for it, which was confusing. I attempted to find answers on the website to no avail, leading me to delete my account to avoid being charged incorrectly. Unlike your competitors, canceling the upgraded service wasn't clear on your site.
I have two requests:
1. Reactivate my account but switch me only to the basic service without any future charges for the upgrade.
2. Please refund the $40 charge from January 13.

Someone has stolen my identity on Plenty of Fish. I keep receiving messages from women who are interacting with a profile that has my pictures but someone else's information - a man who appears to be around 60. Despite trying to recover my login with my usual password and email, I cannot access my account as it now says my password is incorrect. My name is T. Walker, and my usual password is tw4 [redacted], and my email is tMichaelWalker at gmail (Michael spelled M I C H E A L). Action needs to be taken promptly to prevent further financial losses and scams. The prevalence of these fraudulent accounts raises doubts about the platform's integrity and credibility.

Using facial recognition technology for account verification could be helpful. While there may be a cost associated with this verification process, transparency about the fee is essential. Users willing to verify their legitimacy would likely be open to paying a reasonable fee upfront rather than encountering hidden costs later on. This approach could help alleviate frustrations some female users face with a lack of matches and male users encountering solicitations on the platform.

I want to report a scammer with the username heartwitlove. He is involved in romantic scams and has been targeting people. I have blocked him, but he continues to target others. His email address is [redacted], and he has used stolen photos from a Facebook user named Brett Simmons or SIMM. He speaks with an accent that sounds Jamaican or African. During our conversations, I noticed red flags when he started asking about financial matters, confirming my suspicions of his intentions. He has scammed other women, including one who lost $28,[redacted]. He claimed to be on an oil rig until February 28th. I found information online linking him to scams involving oil rigs. I urge the site to remove heartwitlove to protect other users from falling victim to his schemes.

I have recently deleted my POF account and am concerned that my personal details are still visible online via Google search results. Searching for my old username "JZP41 POF" on Google shows six images of me and my details are still accessible. The images include me in a grey top, a black jacket, a red t-shirt, lying on a bed, sitting on a sofa with a pout, and also include other peoples' photos with my information. It appears that there may be fake profiles pretending to be me as well. I request assistance in having Google remove these images and information as it is a result of POF's oversight following the deletion of my account.

I deactivated my account on POF to delete it, but now I'm concerned. When I search my old username "JZP41" with "POF" on Google, eight photos with my personal information show up in the results. Around February 23, [redacted], I noticed multiple activities on my account that seemed unusual. Someone had accessed my account and was interacting with others. Upon checking closely, I found out that my account had been compromised. My photos were replaced with images that were not of me. I immediately changed my password and logged out of my POF account. Today, on February 25, [redacted], I tried to log in with the new password but failed. I then attempted to reset the password, but the reset email did not arrive in my Yahoo account despite trying three times.
