Recently, my PlayStation Network (PSN) account locked me out of all my content, stating that another device was set up as the primary device. I was prompted to check my licenses to verify if I could use it. I have never logged in to another PS4 to switch the primary account status. Initially, I tried setting my PS4 as the primary device in the settings but encountered an (NP-[redacted]-1) error preventing me from doing so. I then attempted a remote deactivation through the provided website, but it indicated that one had already been performed. I need MY PlayStation to be the primary, as I have no other device or access to one. This issue occurred on 4/26/[redacted] between 5:00pm-8:00pm Central Time. It happened while playing Mortal Kombat 11; my system went into rest mode while I was away, leading to the situation described.

Hello, my name is Quiendon Wells. I recently encountered an issue with an individual named PP_Gnome. I had reported him previously due to his racist behavior, and in retaliation, he has falsely reported me in an attempt to have me banned from PS4. He is spreading lies about me, even going as far as labeling me as a child molester. I have evidence to disprove his claims, including two videos on YouTube that clearly show the truth. I kindly ask for your attention to this matter and hope to avoid any unjust penalties from PlayStation. My main goal is to have PP_Gnome removed from the platform to prevent further incidents. Thank you for your consideration.

I'm Cristian, and I encountered an issue with my PS4 recently. When I powered it on after returning from work, the console restarted inexplicably. Following that incident, I noticed my account was missing from the system, prompting me to create a new one. Unfortunately, I've been unable to use the same code to play online. I'm seeking assistance to recover the password and email linked to my original account. The email associated with it was [redacted] Regrettably, the email has been deleted by my wife, and I can only remember part of my gamertag, which was Worrie_Brick449.

Hello,
On April 19, [redacted], my 7-year-old son asked to purchase some V-Bucks for his Fortnite game. I usually allow this, but at that time I explained it wasn't a good moment financially. Despite that, I discovered on reviewing my Visa transactions that he made three unauthorized purchases totaling $[redacted].47. This amount is beyond what I would ever approve, especially now. I'm learning more about these gaming systems and the ease of making purchases, including the possibility of implementing child restrictions. A friend mentioned this to me recently. I'm struggling to make ends meet, and this unexpected expense is really challenging for me. I kindly request a refund for this one-time incident. I would be extremely grateful for your understanding.
Thank you, Charity

@AskPS_UK, I am concerned about my account being banned due to defending myself against abusive messages. I urge you to review the messages I received from a user named ‘Horninickers’ which were highly offensive, instigating my response. I believe it's unfair that I was banned instead. The user even made a vile comment about my mother. I request a thorough investigation to address this issue properly.

Last night, while playing, I got disconnected from the game and PSN. When I tried logging back in with my usual email and password of nearly 6 years, it said they were invalid. Strangely, it accepted a different email address that wasn't linked to my PlayStation, but I couldn't sign in. I've tried the recovery email option, but no emails are coming through. Please send the emails to [redacted] as I've been locked out of [redacted] for a while. I prefer not to lose access to my games and downloads on the [redacted] account. I just want to sign in to PSN with my original information that has always worked without any changes.

I am reaching out regarding my account that I have invested a significant amount of time and money into, only to have it disappear without any compensation. I was away for a few weeks and allowed friends to use my account to play a game while I was gone. Upon my return, I discovered that my account information had been changed, and I am unable to log in. Despite entering the correct email and password, the system is not recognizing it. I believe my account is still active as a friend shared a screenshot showing my old name and the new name after a free name change was allowed. It seems someone may have taken my information and altered it without my permission.

Hello Sony Customer Support,
I am contacting you about an important matter regarding a game I purchased a few months ago, Anthem (Order number [redacted]22).
I have made several attempts to play the game, but unfortunately, it is extremely buggy. The developers have acknowledged the issues, which have caused my PS4 to crash multiple times, resulting in expensive repairs. A technician mentioned that the crashes were due to a known bug in Anthem that made headlines a few months back.
Despite my repeated requests for a refund, I have been informed that my request does not meet the criteria. I understand there are refund policies in place, but after being denied, I held out hope that the bugs would be fixed. Unfortunately, the game remains broken and each patch seems to worsen its performance. After experiencing more issues, I decided to uninstall the game after only an hour of total playtime.
I feel deceived by the false advertising of this game, as it has not lived up to its promised quality. I regret spending $60 on Anthem when I could have invested in better games like Division 2 or Days Gone.
I am genuinely disappointed with this experience, especially since I have always enjoyed the games I purchased from your platform. Prior to Anthem, I have never requested a refund and have been a loyal customer, as you can verify from my order history. I typically purchase digital games directly from the PS store to support Sony.
I hope you can address this matter fairly and help me move past this frustrating situation.
Thank you for your attention.

I was playing a game at home, and right after I logged off, my account got hacked. The hacker is currently using my account. I really just want to play with my friends. The hacker altered my details, but my account name is still XxOR3O_TrapZz. The hacker modified my sign-in ID. Could you change my email address, which also serves as the sign-in ID, back to ([redacted]) and my password to (loveslife123). Thank you for your assistance.

While playing GTA5 on my new account, I shared with some players my experience playing on a PS3 when I was younger. I used to play GTA every day back then when I was around 13 or 14 years old. I had [redacted] million in-game currency and was at level [redacted]. However, one person mentioned they helped their friend retrieve a lost account by calling PSN. This reminded me that I also lost access to an account that was originally given to me by my foster parent. Recently, my cousin shared a photo of my account information, and I realized I had been entering a wrong letter case in my username. I am determined to try and recover my account even though I don't remember the security questions. I really want to get back to playing GTA and regain all my progress on my PS4.

I attempted to change my username on my PSN account, but it logged me out and now I can't log back in because it requires a phone for verification. I don't have a phone and didn't know about backup codes. I'm stuck in a loop where it asks for a code I can't receive. I would like to either reset the username change attempt or regain access to my account with the new username and all my data intact.

Hello PlayStation,
I have encountered an issue with my account being banned for the second time in the last 30 days. My PSN ID is GoogleCBD, and this time I received error code WS-[redacted]-7. The initial suspension a couple of weeks ago also related to using my mom's credit card, Karen Hutchinson (formerly Karen McClenny). I am Hayden Fox, son of Karen and Brendan Fox. I have apologized to my mom and returned the card after she had already addressed the matter with her credit card company following a purchase on March 29th for the Fortnite lava legends pack.
I have never had any prior offenses and always strive to be a kind person. I acknowledge using my mom's card was a mistake and am confused about the second ban. I am open to changing my PSN name if necessary to regain access to my account. I kindly request your assistance in understanding the bans and what steps I can take to resolve this matter. I genuinely appreciate your support and hope for a positive resolution.
Sincerely,
Hayden

I've had an issue with my PS3 that was activated for an account I cannot access anymore. The broken PS3 needs to be disconnected so I can assign a different one for media and games. I attempted to manage this through the account settings and by disabling all systems, but it didn't work. Please assist me in making the new PS3 my main one. My account was originally JemyxTheLucario, now it's Valric_Verix. If feasible, I'd like to update my email to [redacted] from [redacted] My previous name was Jim123456, which I can't change without access to that account.

My account, Xx_-LewReal-_xX, has been hacked. I have been unable to recover it as the hacker changed the date of birth. Today, they used my mum's bank card linked to the PS4 and have taken all our remaining money. I'm struggling to reach customer support from England at 1 [redacted]; the number doesn't seem to be working. My email is [redacted], but I can no longer access it due to the changes made. Dealing with customer service from outside the U.S. has proven difficult compared to Xbox support. I fear I may have to sell the PS4 and return to Xbox for security reasons. Please assist as my mum is understandably upset. Contact number: +[redacted]27 if the above number is incorrect.

I previously used my PayPal account without any issues. Recently, when I tried to repurchase a game I had bought using my brother's account, I encountered an error message from PayPal indicating the billing was canceled, even though I did not initiate any cancellation. When I searched for a solution, I couldn't find any helpful information. Most search results only provided guidance on canceling payments, not on how to reinstate them. I'm unsure about the next steps to take in order to resolve this issue and would appreciate any assistance in accessing the games without having to repurchase them.

I need help with my 4 TB external hard drive. I lost all the data on it because of a power outage. My PS4 prompted me to repair it, but the repair failed. I ended up formatting it without understanding it would erase my data. I used recovery software to get the data back and now want to transfer it to my PS4 without formatting again. How can I accomplish this?

I downloaded a game from PS+ to my library, but after rebooting due to an error message, it has gone missing and now it's asking me to pay for it. The game in question is Conan, and as a lifelong fan of the character, I was really looking forward to playing it. I'm hoping this issue can be resolved as I'm reluctant to pay extra. I've been a PS+ member for quite a while, but if I'm forced to pay the full price along with my subscription fee due to a technical glitch, I will have to cancel my PS+. This is my first problem with the service, and I trust it will be addressed promptly.

I'm having trouble changing my email on PSN. When I tried to update it, I kept getting errors saying the email and password were incorrect, even though they were right. After changing my password successfully, I received a notification that my account was locked due to multiple login attempts. When I try to reset my password, I'm prompted to verify my identity. Even after verifying many times, the message keeps appearing, preventing me from updating my password. This issue is causing me a lot of frustration; any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm attempting to connect my Epic Games account to my PS4. However, when I reach the Sony sign-in page, my email and password are not being recognized. I am certain that the details are correct, as I made sure to note them when creating the account. Oddly, this issue only occurs with one account on my PS4. I've attempted to reset the password and email, but in order to do so, I require the current email associated with the account, which is not being recognized for some reason. This problem is also affecting my ability to sign in to the PlayStation app.

I was thrilled to hear that I could finally change my online ID. However, I was disappointed to find out that I'm not allowed to because of my age. I don't understand why someone under 18 can't change their name. Could you consider allowing individuals who are at least 13 years old to change their online ID? I spent months trying to find a way to change it, and when the feature was finally available, I was let down to see that I couldn't use it. I hope you can review your restrictions. Thank you for listening.
