Hello, I would like to address an issue with my Pinterest account. Yesterday, my account was suspended after I unknowingly violated a Pinterest policy. I have since familiarized myself with the community guidelines and sincerely apologize for the mistake. I am committed to removing any offending content from my account and promise not to repeat this error in the future. I kindly request the reactivation of my account as it contains valuable data that I do not wish to lose. I understand the importance of following Pinterest policies and appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you, Y.Y. email address: [redacted]

Hello, my name is Trina Houck. I have been using Pinterest for about a year now. I enjoy creating boards on animals, nature, and fashion, as well as participating in group boards with similar themes. Recently, my account was suspended for spam, which I find confusing as I don't understand what spam is or why I would be flagged for it. I had a previous incident where my account was mistakenly suspended due to being associated with spam accounts, but after an apology, it was reactivated. Now, I am facing the same issue again despite providing evidence of the previous misunderstanding. Pinterest has not been responsive to my appeals and continues to refuse to reactivate my account, giving a generic response each time. I simply want my account back as I have no intention of using Pinterest for business purposes. My username is Trina8580. I feel frustrated by this situation and would appreciate any assistance.

I have been using a private Pinterest account for quite some time. Recently, I decided to switch it to a business account. I changed my profile name to my business name to keep my personal name private. After the conversion, I was later prompted with questions about my age and interests, assuming it was for personalizing my business account. Regrettably, it seems I unknowingly recreated a private account linked to my business one, revealing my full name publicly once more. I simply want to maintain my business account with the boards and pins I have curated over the years without disclosing my full name. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am wanting to deactivate my Pinterest account created during high school for a project on Heinrich Himmler. I can't recall the login information, so I am unable to close it. Can Pinterest assist in deleting it to avoid any misconceptions tied to my name once I transition to work or grad school? I am open to providing additional verification if needed. Thank you.

Hello, I am writing to request the deactivation of my Pinterest account created during high school around five years ago. The account was set up for a social studies project focused on Heinrich Himmler, a high-profile Nazi figure, as part of an assignment to utilize social media platforms like Pinterest. Unfortunately, I am unable to recall the login credentials due to the passage of time since high school. I am concerned that the existence of this account may inadvertently convey a misleading impression to those who might stumble upon it in the future, especially as I am nearing graduation and preparing to enter the workforce or pursue further studies. Therefore, I kindly ask for Pinterest's assistance in removing the account associated with the username dwestern14. I am prepared to provide any necessary information for verification purposes. Thank you.

Hello, I am requesting assistance with deactivating an account on Pinterest that I created back in high school for a social studies project about Heinrich Himmler. It has been approximately five years, and unfortunately, I no longer recall the login information for the account. Given the sensitive nature of the project, I would like to ensure that the account is deactivated to prevent any misunderstandings in the future as I transition into the workforce or graduate school. I am available for any additional verification steps that may be necessary. Thank you.

Hello, I have been using Pinterest for the past 2-3 years and have greatly enjoyed it. However, I am finding the recent changes disappointing. Several features that were once helpful have been removed or altered, which is making the platform less enjoyable for me: - I miss the notification that used to appear when I tried to pin something I already had. It saved me time and now requires extra effort. - Previously, newly pinned items would appear at the end of my board for easy editing. Now, they appear randomly, causing inconvenience. - Unwanted text suggestions in the search bar, like Halloween references, are bothersome as they do not enhance my searching experience. - The reduction in size of pinned images has been frustrating, especially for visual boards like poetry and maps. The smaller images are less appealing and lack impact. As an art teacher and artist, this change is particularly disheartening. Larger images make a stronger impression and were pinned more frequently. I hope Pinterest will consider these issues and respond to the feedback constructively. Best regards, Carol E. (UK)

Hello, I signed up for Pinterest a few years back, but I've changed my email recently. Today, I got a notification saying my password was reset due to suspicious activity. I tried to reset the password using my old email, but it's inactive as AOL disables unused accounts. Is there any way to link my Pinterest account ([redacted]) to my new email ([redacted]) or perhaps to my Facebook so I can access my boards? I rely on Pinterest daily and have important private boards that I can't lose. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Diana.

I recently tried to login to my Pinterest account after switching phones. I haven't been logged out for years, and I changed emails about a year ago, so I wasn't sure which email was associated with my account. I tried both but ended up being prompted to create a new account without warning. To my dismay, all my pins were gone as it created a fresh account. I asked my sister to search for my original account, and the username is wrboggs1987. I believe I remember the password, but I'm unsure which email to use to log in. Attempting to log in using Yahoo prompts me to use Google and mentions account lockout due to suspicious activity. Can someone assist me with this issue? Thank you, Whitney.

Unfortunately, as of 9/11/[redacted], the issue mentioned below has not been resolved. I am writing to address my concern about the email notifications I receive, titled “Look who's loving your Pins and boards.” Previously, I was able to click on the “SEE MORE” bars in these emails to easily view which of my personal pins had been re-pinned and the boards they were re-pinned to. This feature was neat and orderly, which I appreciated. However, recently, clicking on the “SEE MORE” bar does not have any effect, which is disappointing. I prefer not to use the top right-hand notification section with the bell icon as it is cumbersome to scroll through repeated Pinterest “inspire/explore” emails that I have already received, read, and deleted. It is inconvenient to have to go through these notifications repeatedly. I kindly request to reinstate the functionality of the “SEE MORE” bar in the email notifications as it was before. Thank you, Elsa G. Cape Town, South Africa

I am an individual user on this platform who enjoys creating boards for fun, mainly focusing on celebrities I admire. Recently, my activity board setup changed, and now I can only see the names and small board previews of the pins my followers are selecting. I used to be able to view the actual pins, which I prefer because it adds to the enjoyment for me, especially when popular pins get highlighted. Yesterday, my boards had over seventy saves, but I couldn't identify the pins. This shift in viewing pins has made my experience less enjoyable, and I believe I am not the only one feeling this way. I have tried reaching out multiple times without success. I would appreciate assistance with this matter. Thank you.

Hello, I have had a personal Pinterest account under the email [redacted] with the username Mamastacia3. Recently, I wanted to convert this account into a business account for my knitting pattern business. However, upon attempting to upgrade, I encountered issues with having multiple accounts under the same email. As a solution, I tried creating a new account with the email [redacted] under the name Knit-o-Graf Pattern Company. This caused confusion as my Etsy store and Instagram were linked to my sonic.net address. To streamline, I deactivated the Knit-o-Graf account and sought to convert my existing personal account to a business account under the [redacted] email. Unfortunately, I faced challenges in claiming existing pages. I aim to have one account with the username Knit-o-Graf Pattern Company linked to [redacted] to maintain connections with Etsy and Instagram. I seek support to successfully transition to a business account without disrupting existing ties. Thank you for your assistance. -Stacia

Hello, I am part of a team at the Institute in Basic Life Principles, working on creating Biblically-based booklets focusing on Godly character for children with the gospel included. Currently, we have a consistent approach across all booklets but are considering varying our methods by incorporating different presentations using object lessons, word pictures, and more. During my research on presenting the gospel in diverse ways, I discovered numerous engaging object lessons and illustrations on Pinterest. Despite searching for copyright and trademark information, I have not found the specific answers I need. I am curious whether our organization has permission to utilize ideas, pictures, or illustrations from Pinterest for our selling booklets. Is it at the discretion of each individual who posts on Pinterest, or can we use their written instructions but not the images? Any guidance on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you, Christina for the Institute in Basic Life Principles

I kindly request Pinterest to permanently close my two email accounts with immediate effect. I no longer wish for them to remain active on the website. I am frustrated and have lost interest in Pinterest. As I no longer remember my passwords, I urge them to remove my accounts without delay. It has been 14 days since my initial request, and I am disappointed that my accounts are still accessible. I implore Pinterest to close them down promptly. Thank you.

When browsing Pinterest and coming across something I like, it would be convenient to have information on where to purchase it. Often, when a family member shares a gift idea from Pinterest, I struggle to find the item for sale. Adding a reference with the picture, such as the name of the person or business, would be immensely helpful. This way, I could easily look up the website or address. It is frustrating to encounter beautiful items with no way to track them down. I've tried googling without success, and even dragging the image to Google only results in random numbers. While I don't mind a bit of investigation, the lack of results can be discouraging. Having a clear reference or method to locate the source of the item, even if it requires extra steps, would make the process much less frustrating and more efficient. Pinterest is full of great ideas, but when it comes to finding specific purchasable items, having a way to discover them is essential.

I am requesting the immediate removal of a harassing post that is not mine. The individual responsible is Rilla Rilla, someone I have attempted to obtain a restraining order against, but they frequently leave the country to avoid it. This person is damaging my reputation by sharing a photo that includes an old address of mine and spreading false information about me in a YouTube video description. Rilla Rilla has been continuously harassing me for over a year. Despite blocking my profile, I had to create a new one after a friend alerted me to the offensive content. The post in question implies disturbing behavior at an event and makes false claims about my involvement in an online business. This is not the first time he has targeted me, as he has also engaged in unsettling actions like following my friends and ex-partner on social media. I have taken steps to report the post on various platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, but I am concerned about the lasting impact it may have. Given the nature of the content and the individual's history of harassment, I urge you to not only remove the post but also consider taking further action to prevent similar incidents in the future. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. Rachele Bowden

Dear Pinterest, I have been harassed over the Thanksgiving week by someone named Frodo from your "Pinterest Team" department. He suspended my account, labeling it "spammy" per your policies. Despite my request to close my account, Frodo sent me three emails in two days accusing me of "fraudulent advertising" and being "spammy." This sudden mistreatment has come after many years of a positive relationship with Pinterest. I want this communication to cease immediately. I prefer not to receive any more emails from Frodo. I do not understand why I am being harassed over vague accusations, as I have not engaged in any wrongful activities. Kindly ensure that someone other than Frodo addresses my concerns accurately. Despite requesting to close my account to prevent further unauthorized actions, all I have received are quotes of "spammy" and "fraudulent." This intimidation must stop. If my issue is not resolved promptly, I will reach out to a real person at Pinterest. This situation is causing unnecessary distress. Thank you.

I'm experiencing difficulties with my Pinterest account. I initially signed up with an outdated email that I no longer have access to. While attempting to update my email to a current one, I mistyped it, triggering an account lockout due to suspicious activity. I'm now unable to reset my password as the reset link was sent to my outdated email. When I log in with my new Gmail address, it redirects me to a different Pinterest account tied to Gmail. Pinterest claims my current email is already in use when I try to update it. I wonder if Pinterest could send the reset link to my current email, even if it's not associated with my account, or assist in deleting the Gmail-linked account permanently. Despite my attempts, the account persists after deletion.

Hello, I started a group board to support a friend with brain damage. It was meant to uplift him and gather support through prayers and donations. Unfortunately, he recently passed away after a long battle. I received a notification from Pinterest that someone left the group board, which concerns me. I worry that if this action is visible to my friend's family, it might be distressing. To prevent further notifications and possible distress, I am considering deleting the board. I want to shield my friend's loved ones from unnecessary reminders of loss. My question is: If I delete the group board, will others receive a notification about it? I aim to handle this situation with sensitivity. Thank you for any guidance you can provide.
