I came across a toy on Facebook that I wanted to order for my grandchildren, so I purchased two. Upon arrival, about a month later, the items turned out to be a complete scam. They were made of cardboard and colored pens instead of what I had ordered. Disappointed by this, I returned the items to the Post Office and refused them. I contacted PayPal to file a dispute as I believed I would be protected by using their service. However, to my shock, I was informed that my dispute was unsuccessful. I followed all the steps PayPal provided, which was quite a hassle. Feeling like I've been scammed and let down by PayPal, I am frustrated. Not only am I left without the toys, but I am also out of pocket. I intend to inform others on Facebook about this experience and vow to not use PayPal again. Despite my recent frequent use of the platform, I am disheartened by the lack of assistance. I am considering seeking legal advice if there is no resolution to refund the money. This situation has left me both financially and emotionally distressed.

I received the Dermagist Revolution Eye Gel product, which I purchased due to the 30-day guarantee they offered. Unfortunately, the product did not live up to its claims in the before and after photos. When I requested a return and refund, they informed me that their policy only allows for store credit, which was buried in the fine print on their website. This policy felt misleading, especially considering the product's lack of effectiveness. I believe a reputable cosmetic company should offer tangible guarantees and stand by their products confidently. I have tried to resolve this through multiple emails and phone calls, but they have been unhelpful. One representative even suggested using Paypal for assistance.

I would like to sign up for a diet program with a quarterly payment option. The program only accepts credit card payments for the quarterly plan, but I prefer using Paypal as a security measure. When I inquired, they mentioned I need to check with Paypal to see if I qualify for a payment plan. The company is 'The Ketogenic Switch.' Any guidance would be appreciated as I have a limited time to take advantage of this offer. Thanks.

Hello, I recently got a new Samsung phone and have been struggling to transfer my Microsoft authentication app to the new device. I am having difficulty with half of the code numbers not uploading properly to the new app. I need to access the app's 2FA settings to re-scan my QR code or enter my key manually. My other account for business sends me a text for authentication, which is helpful. This issue is frustrating because I have important funds in the account, especially during the time when I am moving houses. I would appreciate any assistance with this problem. Thank you.

I am calling because my account got locked due to someone hacking it.
I reached out 48 hours ago, and was instructed to wait for 48 hours before calling back. Unfortunately, I missed one or more of the questions during the verification process. One question was about a truck I purchased in [redacted], and I couldn't recall the date. I now remember it was a [redacted] Dodge Dakota.
PayPal contacted me to inform that a new email address ([redacted]) was added to my account without my knowledge.
To add to the situation, just before the hack, I was in the process of transferring my Tracfone number and minutes to a new phone. I mistakenly inserted the wrong SIM card, which led to my old phone being deactivated for approximately 14 hours. After contacting Tracfone, I managed to reactivate my old phone and set up the new one. You can verify this by checking my number: [redacted].
I am unable to access my PayPal account at all. It does not accept my password despite several attempts to change it.
Is it possible to create a new account since my last 4 digits of SSN can verify my ownership?

Dear Sirs,
On the 30th of August, we informed eBay that we received the wrong part from the Seller. We contacted the Seller via email and asked for a return address. The Seller instructed us to return the item through eBay. We promptly sent back the item using the provided return label via Royal Mail the same day. However, the Seller stated they were unable to provide the correct part and we then requested a refund for the 02 Oxygen Lambda Sensor. The eBay return ID is [redacted], item number [redacted]66, purchased by eBay Buyer suburu1011 from "Seller" Energized Customs located at Unit 12, Stafford Park 12 Telford TF3 3BJ. We utilized the "Returns Item on the Purchase History" to facilitate the return. Kindly confirm that our PayPal account has been restored to its original state. We apologize for any confusion. Kindest Regards, Patrick & Suzanne Redding

I was initially informed by Ebay that I could receive an extension for a defective cell phone around a week ago. However, when I contacted Ebay today, on September 1, [redacted], they denied the extension. Now, I am required to send the phone to Google for it to be wiped as it stopped working with all my information still on it. The seller mentioned that I should return the phone to them so they can wipe it. I'm uncertain about this. The Ebay seller named "Amazing Wireless" is expecting the phone back by approximately September 13, [redacted], which is in 30 days. The process of sending it to Google is in progress, but Ebay has now declined to give me the extension. Can anyone offer assistance? Thank you, Mike C

I recently used PayPal to make a purchase from Age Technology on 8/8/19 for furniture covers. Unfortunately, what I received was not what I had ordered. After contacting them, they initially offered a 10% refund and for me to keep the incorrect product, which I declined. I insisted on a full refund and a prepaid return of the incorrect item due to their mistake. They then offered a 30% discount and for me to keep the item, still refusing to cover the return shipping costs. After filing a claim through PayPal, the company offered to refund most of the amount except for $20 USD for return postage. I find their handling of the situation unprofessional and feel like they are trying to take advantage of honest customers like myself.

I bought an item on Depop with the seller's assurance that it was authentic. Upon receiving it, I discovered it was not as described and fake. Despite the seller's lies, an appraisal confirmed the inauthenticity. I had to contact PayPal for the second time, as the dispute was not initiated as promised. The frustrating customer service experience with PayPal has left me feeling ignored. Initially, I used my debit card for the purchase before setting up a PayPal account later. The representative mentioned sending an email with account details and the claim number, but I never received it. I am uncertain whether the dispute process has begun or not, and I am eager to verify the status or start a new dispute if needed.

I made a payment of $[redacted].50 to Churchill Artifacts on August 19, [redacted], via PayPal for a Howard Terpning lithograph. Despite contacting them, the shipping department has not reached out to me as promised. I am yet to receive the lithograph or any updates. After speaking to a PayPal representative with transaction ID 90G24789T[redacted]X, I was informed that the item was shipped, which is not the case. I requested to speak to a supervisor but was left on hold for 50 minutes without any resolution. Despite disputing the transaction, PayPal has not resolved the issue, prompting me to seek a refund through my credit card company. - Mark Handler MD

I am unable to transfer or withdraw funds from my PayPal balance as an error message appears every time I attempt to do so. My PayPal account, [redacted], remains under permanent limitation status despite providing all the required information to PayPal and having the sender, [redacted], confirm the transaction with PayPal. I recently received the following response from PayPal after inquiring about the inability to make transfers from my PayPal account. Their decision to keep my account permanently limited has been finalized. Any remaining funds will be available for withdrawal after [redacted] days from the date of the limitation. Should you need to refund buyers, you can do so anytime as long as the transaction status is completed. If unable to process a refund, you may provide transaction details for PayPal to assist. PayPal reserves the right to limit access to accounts suspected of fraudulent or high-risk activities. Your cooperation is appreciated as they work to resolve the matter. I have submitted the necessary information, and the sender has also confirmed the transaction. Urgent assistance is needed to have my account's permanent limitation status removed promptly. Thank you.

PayPal Email: [redacted]
Subject: Account Access Issue
Hello,
I am currently experiencing difficulty accessing my PayPal account. Upon entering my login information, I receive a message saying "PayPal is looking out for you" and am prompted to complete a step. Despite correctly entering the code sent to me via email, I am then asked to complete another step, causing confusion.
Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the phone number connected to my account, making it impossible to receive texts for verification as the number has changed.
This situation is preventing me from utilizing my account for eBay sales and payments, creating frustration as my funds are inaccessible. Despite entering the correct password and verification code, the system does not allow me to login.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Thank you,
-Mike B.

Hello Paypal,
I am writing from the Philippines. I am currently working for a client in California, USA, and I receive payments from his personal account bi-weekly. I am curious about the fees involved in these transactions. Recently, I was supposed to receive $[redacted], which is approximately Php [redacted].00. However, I only received Php [redacted].49 in my Paypal account. The deduction of almost Php [redacted].00 is significant for me. Can you please clarify the charges and fees associated with receiving money from others? As a new Paypal user, I am unfamiliar with the transaction fees applied to incoming payments. Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.

I recently had my account closed without any prior issues or wrongdoing. The phrase "we have decided to no longer do business with you" keeps coming up in communications from your customer service representatives and emails. I suspect this decision stemmed from one person's negative feedback against me, as I was not given the opportunity to defend myself. Despite being told it cannot be reversed, I believe there is room for reconsideration. The lack of explanation for ending our business relationship is unjust. The sudden closure has significantly impacted my eBay operations, as alternative payment methods are not available for me. Requesting to escalate my concern to a higher authority has been fruitless. I urgently need to rectify this situation as my financial stability is at stake, leading to severe financial distress and credit implications. Kindly arrange for a meaningful conversation to address this matter promptly.

I have a PayPal Case ID #PP-D-[redacted]5. I have been communicating with HELP.PP or Kenshae to cancel an order for four pairs of shoes without success. Despite my multiple cancellation attempts, I never received a cancellation number. I paid $[redacted].37 for order #[redacted] on 21 July. After receiving the shoes today, they offered me a $10 gift card instead of a refund for the delivered order. I am not satisfied with this resolution. Can someone advise me on what to do next? Thank you for your assistance. - S. E., 9/6/19

Hello. I was attempting to buy a one-way ticket from Las Vegas, Nevada to Los Angeles, California. After choosing PayPal as the payment method, the transaction did not appear to go through as I did not receive a confirmation number. When I tried again, the system flagged it as a duplicate transaction. Upon contacting the airline, the representative mentioned that no payment was visible for the ticket. Despite this, I noticed that $37.90 was deducted from my PayPal account. The airline requested my credit card details directly for the transaction, so the charge from PayPal should not have occurred. I kindly request a refund of $37.90 to my account since the airline has been paid for the ticket already. Thank you for your assistance.

I have had a frustrating experience with PayPal as it locked me out of my account a couple of years ago and I have been unable to regain access since. Despite trying to reset my password, I keep receiving a "sorry, something went wrong at our end" message. Recently, when attempting to make a purchase with a debit card, the website kept pushing me towards using PayPal, which I no longer trust. I even contacted customer service but waited for over 2 hours without any response. This kind of inconvenience is making me reconsider using PayPal in the future. I am contemplating sending them a bill for my wasted time and the frustration caused by missing out on the item I wanted to purchase.

I am Dr. Charles J. Garard, a PayPal user. Previously PayPal has assisted me in resolving unwarranted charges. This particular situation is distinct.
A client initially contacted me through Thumbtack but was blocked by the platform for rule violations, leading to a refund for me. Subsequently, the client engaged with me via Facebook Messenger, sparking extensive and challenging communication. Despite my clear pricing of $7 per page for editing, she misconstrued my fees based on a previous client's payment. After completing the editing work, I shared it with her, which resulted in disagreements over corrections. She then initiated a dispute process through PayPal, claiming the edited work was not up to her expectations.
As a professional with a Ph.D. in literature, writing, and film, I provided my opinion solely, reminding her she had the liberty to seek other editors if needed. Despite my efforts, the client persistently contested my suggestions, portraying defensiveness to constructive criticism. This situation has left me perplexed, seeking guidance on how to navigate the reimbursement request for half of the editing fee. Any advice or suggestions to handle this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Dr. Charles Justus Garard
