I am seeking a refund for an extra seat upgrade payment made due to issues with my original upgrade on a recent flight with American Airlines. Despite my unsatisfactory experience and refusal to fly with them in the future, the airline offered only an evoucher as compensation. My flight confirmation number is ZKEYHQ for a flight on 1/2/21. Initially, I paid $25.04 for the ORF to CLT upgrade and $39.09 for the CLT to SEA upgrade on 12/1/20. Upon reaching CLT, I was unexpectedly assigned a different seat and asked to pay an additional $80.85 for the upgrade I wanted. After multiple emails, American Airlines refunded only $39.09 and offered a $50 voucher instead of the remaining balance. They declined my request for a full refund of both upgrade payments. The overall service was unprofessional, and the flight lacked proper social distancing measures, putting me at risk as a nurse working with elderly patients. I am hoping to find a resolution to this matter and can provide all email correspondence with the airline if necessary.

After multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve this issue with Orbitz Customer Service over the last six months, I am seeking assistance. In July [redacted], I made a hotel reservation through Orbitz (itinerary number [redacted][redacted]).
On July 6, [redacted], I submitted a review on the Orbitz website regarding my stay, detailing the unsatisfactory conditions of the room and lack of cleanliness. However, to my dismay, the review has not been published and remains in a "pending" status since July [redacted].
I have tried reaching out via the chat function to Orbitz Customer Service more than 30 times in hopes of understanding the reason for the delay in publishing my review, but all my attempts have been unsuccessful. The conversations with the customer service representatives either ended abruptly or did not provide a resolution.
I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed in this matter.

I've had to reschedule or cancel my flight multiple times due to COVID. Air Canada informed me that they are issuing airline credit vouchers with no expiration date for passengers affected by COVID cancellations. There's a form on their website that only the travel agent, like Orbitz, can fill out for me. Unfortunately, after contacting Orbitz reps multiple times, I still haven't received any assistance. When requesting to speak with a supervisor, they promised to have someone call back but never did. One representative even hung up on me when I asked to speak with someone in the U.S. It has been a frustrating experience trying to get the help I need with this issue.

I initially booked a flight through Orbitz for two at $[redacted] each for a roundtrip international journey. Discovering a better American Airlines deal, I found Orbitz matched it at $[redacted] per person, leaving me with $[redacted] in credits for each. Planning trips to Vegas and Cancun, I recently attempted to book a Vegas flight for my girlfriend and myself at $90 roundtrip. Orbitz required a call to use the credits, where an agent initially denied their use, then recanted, and falsely claimed the new price was $[redacted], not the advertised $90. After much back and forth with supervisors offering a $[redacted] hotel credit and then raising the price to $[redacted] per person, and later $[redacted], I felt the situation was a scam. Despite a manager quoting $[redacted] per person from the AA website, I discovered the actual price to be lower. Dealing with rude staff that left me in tears, I just wanted to book my flight at the advertised price of $90 per person using my credits. The experience was incredibly frustrating, lacking resolution, and has deterred me from using Orbitz again.

I am requesting a refund for my stay at Embassy Suites in Savannah, GA on February 27-28, [redacted]. Throughout my stay at the location on [redacted] W. Oglethorpe, my room lacked hot water in the shower. When I contacted the front desk, maintenance attempted to fix the issue but concluded that it couldn't be resolved. Despite promises of a solution, I was left without hot water. The following morning, management was unaware of the problem until I brought it to their attention. We have been attempting to utilize a portion of our $[redacted] credit with Orbitz/United Airlines since Sunday for two round-trip tickets from SFO to PDX, as our original flight was canceled due to the spring COVID surge. Despite multiple attempts to book the flight via chat and the call center, each time we were promised a callback from employees who never followed through. One person we spoke with named himself as David Hogg on Monday. Another person, supposedly a supervisor named Liza Lustre, assured us we wouldn't lose the remaining $[redacted] credit and would email us confirmation, which never happened. Checking online, we discovered similar experiences reported on Consumer Affairs webpage. We aim to book two tickets on United leaving on May 21 and returning on May 28, using the credit before Feb [redacted]. We object to paying the $[redacted] per person penalty demanded by your staff, as we were not informed of any restrictions beyond the booking date for credit usage. The confirmation number for the canceled United flight is IT7JZZ under the names Pam Grant-Ryan and Barry Levine. We are dissatisfied with the dishonesty encountered in the call center and urge for a swift resolution to avoid further action.

I need to have my reservation reinstated at the same hotel, on the same dates, and at the same rates. I received an email reminder months before my stay, which seemed unnecessary since I had already confirmed the booking. I mistakenly replied to cancel, thinking it was for a different hotel offering a better deal. I didn't actually cancel with the hotel directly, as the instructions in your email suggested, as I've never had to do that before. I then sent another email asking for my original reservation to be restored but never received a response. The reservation number is [redacted]54. It's for a three-day stay for a wedding. I spent three hours on an Orbitz chat after a previous one-hour phone call where I was told I couldn't make changes to my airline ticket. I wanted to use an Orbitz credit to book new flights. Despite giving them the correct flight details, they initially booked them incorrectly, causing more delays. I eventually checked directly with the airline using the confirmation code to see that the booking was correct. Orbitz charged me $98 more than booking the flights myself. This is the second frustrating experience I've had with Orbitz. I've previously spent over 8 hours on the phone to resolve an issue. I still have credits but hesitate to use them due to time constraints. I wish they would refund the money instead of issuing credits for bookings they struggle to get right. I have shared my negative experience with my Facebook followers and will no longer use Orbitz or Expedia.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the car rental service I received. The vehicle was in poor condition when I picked it up, and I was forced to purchase additional insurance despite having coverage with my credit card and personal insurance. When the car got a flat tire, I informed them about having the spare on, but they caused unnecessary delays when inspecting the vehicle. I am Maxine Schur, and I am reaching out regarding a missing refund from Orbitz related to a flight booking made on September 18, [redacted], from Istanbul to Tashkent. Despite multiple contacts with Orbitz and assurances of a refund, I have not received the promised refund of $[redacted].09.

On Monday night, my husband spoke with an agent to change our flight information, but we were surprised to learn that this would cost an extra $[redacted]. We were under the impression that flight changes were free. We needed a couple of days to gather the additional funds. Despite several attempts, we have not been able to connect with the airline to resolve this issue. My husband, Tom, tried calling on Wednesday night and was put on hold until the early hours of the morning. Due to work commitments, he had to hang up without a resolution. I reached out to Liesl, a chat agent, on April 12th for assistance using flight credits to book a trip from MSY to CVG on Nov. 21st with the following flights: MSY-DFW AA [redacted], DFW-CVG AA [redacted]. Liesl processed the flight numbers, applied the credits, took my credit card information, and gave me the reference number S#[redacted]5. She mentioned that the confirmation number would be emailed in 72 hours but initially input the wrong email address. However, I have yet to receive the confirmation and see no bookings saved in my account. The charge is still pending on my credit card. I'm unsure if the booking was successful or if I need to redo it. Should I be concerned about the incorrect email provided? I have been unable to connect with a live agent for a week. I am disappointed in the service; it has been frustrating not being able to resolve this issue promptly.

I have dealt with 4 different agents, spending a total of 6 hours on the phone, with no resolution yet. A week ago, I booked a trip from Charlotte NC to Athens, Greece with a layover in Toronto on Canada Air. Recently, Air Canada changed my flights to include two stopovers, leaving me with an unworkable connection on my return journey. After several unsuccessful attempts, last night "Mira" promised to find an alternative flight and said I would receive a follow-up call after noon the next day. By 6 PM, without a callback, I called again, facing a 4-hour wait time. "Ivan" couldn't assist and transferred me to a "specialist" desk where I waited over 3 hours. Ultimately, Air Canada offered only an unacceptable 3-stop itinerary with a 12-hour layover. Despite my flexibility, the lack of viable options persisted. Each attempt to resolve the issue ended in being disconnected or no follow-up. Despite requesting a supervisor, no resolution has been offered. As a loyal Orbitz customer with an Orbitz credit card, this lack of service is disappointing.

I made a car rental booking via Orbitz for my trip to Puerto Rico on 4/3/21-4/10/21, but later mistakenly made a cheaper reservation for 5/3/21-5/10/21. I bought two tickets for a flight from Baltimore, MD (BWI) to Portland, OR (PDX) on May 13, [redacted], departing at 6:00am with a one-hour layover in Denver. I also bought a cancellation policy. However, my flight got changed to 6:30pm, arriving in Portland at 10:30pm with stops in Detroit and Minneapolis. I initially preferred Delta but now I just want to stick to my original flight time, even if it's with another airline.
