I requested my wife to meet the seller for a Brother laser printer since I couldn't go myself due to work commitments. During the meeting, my wife inquired about the missing power cord, and the seller assured her it was included. The seller hastily left on a bicycle after receiving the payment. Upon returning home, I realized that a different printer, an HP instead of a Brother, had been given to us. I attempted to contact the seller, but unfortunately, there has been no response.

Hello, my name is Madison. I sold a phone on OfferUp on May 3 and shipped it, but I have yet to receive payment of $[redacted]. I provided my debit information and account routing numbers. I have reached out about this four times. I was informed that Payment Customer Service would contact me, but they have not. I am frustrated and just want the money transferred or the phone back. This shipping process has been a negative experience. My phone number is [redacted]. Please resolve this issue promptly.

My business partner and I, A. R., had our account hacked last evening, May 21, [redacted], around 6:30 pm in St. Louis, MO. Bogus truck offers started appearing when potential buyers showed interest while I was having dinner with the city's mayor. Suddenly, accusations of being a scammer and fraudulent activities surfaced, with warnings of police involvement. My small business with over [redacted] sales and [redacted] 5-star ratings, built on strong customer relationships, is now impacted. I am unable to post my items as usual due to this scam affecting my app and your domain. Please assist me in resolving this issue promptly.

I recently sold a pair of Ariat boots to a buyer named Jose in California. The issue is that USPS claims they couldn't read the tracking number due to a potential mishap during shipping. They delivered the package without updating the tracking information. Despite multiple attempts to contact OfferUp, I have only received one response, promising to connect me with a special team, but I never heard back. The buyer has confirmed receiving the expensive boots, so I am puzzled why OfferUp hasn't released the funds to my account. I have exhausted all my efforts on my end. I have another shipment en route and hope to avoid a similar situation. This ordeal has been extremely frustrating, and I seek assistance in obtaining the money owed to me by OfferUp.

I have been trying to contact someone for almost two weeks regarding an overpayment on the part of my buyer (I’m the seller). I just keep getting a generic response saying someone will respond ASAP. The item I was selling was medical supplies, and having been in this situation before, I understood when the buyer begged me to send them ASAP because they were low. The day after I shipped, I received notice that the sale was canceled, meaning I won’t be paid. I need answers. I need this to be fixed ASAP! I am tired of getting no response. I don't wish to have to take this further over such a small amount, but it's the principle of the matter. Thank you kindly. -KS

I am seeking assistance in returning a defective item to the seller. I had a conversation with the seller, and they agreed to issue a refund. However, when I tried to ship the item back, I was asked to pay a $7.50 shipping fee, even though I had already paid for shipping to the seller initially, without being informed of any additional fees. I have screenshots of my conversation with the seller showing my attempts to return the item promptly after receiving it. The only obstacle now is the shipping cost. I have tried contacting OfferUp through multiple emails, but they have yet to direct me to the appropriate department or provide assistance. I am requesting urgent attention to this matter and a follow-up on my request.

I apologize for any confusion due to my imperfect English. I need to report a salesperson who sold me 6 counterfeit Disney tickets for a total of $[redacted]. After purchasing the tickets, I immediately contacted OfferUp support to address the issue. However, there has been no resolution to the matter even after almost a week. The seller's name, Snookie, has disappeared from the OfferUp page along with our messages. Is there a contact number for assistance? Does OfferUp provide protection for buyers in these situations? I feel the $[redacted] stolen by this individual. Can I get details about the seller such as address and phone number? I believed OfferUp was a trustworthy platform, but it seems buyers can be easily deceived without consequence. I urgently seek a refund for my family's sake. Thank you for your assistance.

I made a purchase of a watch from Derek in Euclid, Ohio, but it has not arrived after almost a week. Despite constant inquiries about the tracking information, the sender provided inconsistent responses. After being told that the package was supposedly found at the post office, the tracking info remains unchanged. When contacting the post office, they indicated no one had inquired about the package with my tracking number. The post office employee mentioned the package was meant for carrier pickup and no attempts were made to collect it. Moreover, the package's weight makes it unlikely to fit in the collection box. I am frustrated by the lack of information and need clear updates on the situation.

I purchased two Louis Vuitton bags from the same seller and had them shipped to me. Upon receipt, I discovered that both items were counterfeit and not as described. I reached out to customer support with photos of the bags and labels on the day I received them, June 1, [redacted], but have not received a response. The Louis Vuitton backpack I ordered is drastically different from the picture posted. The seller admitted to the items not being authentic and agreed to process the return. On June 2, [redacted], the second item arrived and was also counterfeit. Despite multiple attempts to seek support, I have not received any assistance. I am concerned that my payment may be released without my authorization. I reported the issue promptly but have yet to rate the seller due to the unresolved problems.

I've had multiple people inform me that they are unable to locate my items on OfferUp. Despite my regular postings, my son also attempted to find my items on OfferUp but encountered the same issue. While I can view my own items from my phone, others seem unable to locate them. I suspect there might be an issue with my account. Attempting to contact OfferUp has been unfruitful, as I am consistently redirected without any resolution. As a retired disabled Marine, this treatment is disheartening. Could you please assist me in addressing this problem with my account? It seems to have persisted for approximately 2 months. My email address for reference is [redacted]

I purchased RBG LED headlights for around $[redacted] from an individual. The funds were debited from my bank account, which I verified. The next day, I received a notification that the money was refunded via the OfferUp app. I assumed the refund process would take a few business days or weeks. However, despite being away for over a month for army training in California, I have not received the refund. I suspect the person, possibly named Lisa, who sent me pictures of the lights at ([redacted])-[redacted], scammed me. I am frustrated and eager to get my money back. I tried to provide screenshots, but the app's time limit prevented me. I wonder if you can access this information to investigate further.

I have an OfferUp account, but now I have a new job where my boss wants me to sell office furniture for her. I don't want to mix business with personal matters, so I'm looking to set up a second OfferUp account on my phone tied to my work email. This way, I can keep my personal and work sales separate. Can I have two OfferUp accounts on the same phone, with one linked to my personal email and the other to my work email? I'm not sure if I can use OfferUp on my work computer.

My OfferUp page seems to be invisible to other users. When someone searches for items I sell, my listings do not appear in the search results. Even those who have favorited me cannot find my page. Although I can log in to my account and see my items, edit, and archive them, they remain invisible to others. I have not received any assistance to resolve this matter. Despite reaching out multiple times, I only receive automated responses. Today, I received about four emails claiming to combine all my requests into one, but the issue remains unresolved. It appears that GetHuman was informed the problem was fixed, yet it persists.

I encountered a scam on OfferUp, losing $[redacted]. After being temporarily removed for sharing the scammer's information, I was reinstated post-explanation and apology. Following the password reset email instructions, I regained access. However, my posts stay in the "Selling" section and don't appear on the platform. Multiple messages to the Support Team only prompt automated replies of "you're removed." I fear my concerns are not being addressed, despite sending proof of reinstatement. Could you investigate and resolve this issue? I appreciate your attention. For reference, please review our email correspondence. Thank you, Susie.

Hello, my name is Frank Underwood. I have an OfferUp account. I recently traded a Mini PC with a person named George for a subwoofer and speakers. Unfortunately, the subwoofer is the only item that works properly out of the two amps and subwoofer he provided. I originally intended to sell my Mini PC for $60. Despite checking that everything was in working order before the exchange, it seems I received a defective product. It has been three weeks, and George has been promising to make it right by returning my money but has not followed through. Each time I contact him, he provides a different excuse. I am disappointed by the lack of customer service or support numbers available through the app. Trusting in both the platform and its users has left me feeling let down. I hope to see some resolution and justice in this matter soon.

I recently sold three items on my OfferUp account, and due to the USPS closure on Saturday, I shipped them via UPS instead. UPS informed me that USPS would pick up the shipment. It's now Tuesday, and UPS said USPS collected the package, but the items weren't scanned for some reason. I visited the post office, and they mentioned that sometimes items aren't scanned until delivery, assuring me the packages should reach the buyers within three days. However, I'm concerned because I got a message threatening order cancellation if not shipped, even though I've already shipped and marked the items as such. The tracking isn't updated, but USPS explained it might not show progress until delivery. One buyer has an active account, but the other's account was deactivated after payment. I need assistance with this situation.

I recently purchased a Lego set from a seller in my local area, advertised as new. I paid $55 in person for the set, and upon inspection at home, I discovered that the seals were broken and resealed. I have not yet opened the box to confirm the [redacted] piece count, but regardless, this is a misrepresentation as the set is not in new, unopened condition. I have attempted to contact the seller named Jeremy (10) in Pompano Beach, Florida, through Offer Up, but I cannot locate his profile. I have requested a full refund, but if he does not respond, I believe Offer Up should take action against him. Any advice on how to proceed would be helpful. Thank you.

Hello, I recently went to pick up a vacuum I purchased for $20 from a seller who lives nearby. We agreed to meet at a storage area on 55th Ave. and Baseline, but I ended up waiting for 15 minutes with no sign of the seller. When I contacted him online, he claimed to have left me a negative review. This is the first time I've encountered any issues with online marketplaces like OfferUp, eBay, Craigslist, or Amazon. I tried to suggest meeting at a different location, but he hasn't responded yet. I hope he didn't leave me a bad review for what seems like a misunderstanding. I even checked with the receptionist at the storage area, but she didn't see anyone waiting for me. I kindly request to have any negative review removed as I believe the situation was a miscommunication. It's disappointing to deal with such behavior over a $20 item. Hopefully, this can be resolved promptly. Thank you, Linda

On July 16, [redacted], around 1 a.m. Eastern time, a Chevy Tahoe was posted multiple times for sale on my OfferUp account by someone other than myself. The posts did not include any details about the vehicle but requested people to send their emails for more information and pictures. The posts seemed to be from various states, leading to numerous offers for the Tahoe. I have been marking each post as sold, but I received a notification from OfferUp stating that my email had been changed, which I did not do. I am unsure if this is a major issue or a minor one. Any advice on how to address this would be appreciated. Thank you, Tracy G.

I received offers on my desk and bedroom set shortly after posting them online. It struck me as odd that both potential buyers requested I send pictures to their relatives who were out of state. They claimed they would send a check to cover the cost of the items and movers. After receiving a similar offer from a second person, I realized it was a scam. Luckily, I had already canceled the transaction. I feel compelled to caution others on this site as I continue to receive suspicious messages. I am disappointed with my experience on this platform. - Michele Saldutti
