I am located in Chandler, AZ in the [redacted] area. I am a member of the Nextdoor Fulton group, which focuses on the Fulton Ranch planned community with about [redacted] residences. Recently, I noticed a post from a Cottonwood resident in Sun Lakes, AZ, far from our area, expressing concern about loud noises resembling gunshots. This caused unnecessary worry until I realized it was not related to our neighborhood. It's puzzling why individuals from different communities like Sun Lakes can join Nextdoor Fulton to post irrelevant content. This is not the first time such off-topic posts have appeared on our site. It would be beneficial if each community had its own platform to prevent such confusion and alarm. Here is the post that raised my concerns:
"Bob Mariano, Sun Lakes Palo Verde I reside in Cottonwood on the Hunt Highway and heard loud noises around 11:45 pm last night that sounded like 6 gunshots. Did anyone else hear anything like that?"
I find it inappropriate for posts like this to appear on our site when they do not pertain to our neighborhood or members.

I attempted to sign up for Nextdoor in Junius Heights, Dallas, Texas. I provided my cell phone number for verification, but it could not be matched to my address. Nextdoor sent a postcard with a verification code, but I have not received it. I received an email on March 9th asking me to verify the code from the postcard, which I cannot do without it. Due to my unreliable mail delivery, I kindly request another postcard be sent or to accept my cell number for verification. Please reach out to me at [redacted] Thank you, Sonia H.

We are McKenzies Boxing Gym located in East Dulwich, London SE22 8BD. We recently advertised on Nextdoor. A former personal trainer, Simone, was terminated due to fraudulent actions. Simone misused her access and falsely promoted her services as being affiliated with our gym. She even attempted to attract our clients to her own business. We promptly terminated her agreement. Simone, now operating as Mind Over Matter, is illegally claiming to be associated with our premises. Our landlord intervened when Simone tried to unlawfully occupy an unused space on our premises. We have reported her to the Trading Standards Office at Southwark Council for investigation. Simone’s misleading advertising on Nextdoor implies her base is at our location, which is false. Dulwich Hamlet FC has confirmed she is not based there. Please remove the misleading ad. Visit our website to verify that Simone is not the only boxing trainer in the area.

Dear Nextdoor Support Team,
I used to have an account under Aliso Villas HOA in Mission Viejo, California. However, after selling my condo in Feb, I relocated to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. I am encountering difficulties in updating my email address on Nextdoor to my current one as your system does not allow the modification. I attempted to create a new account with my new email, [redacted], but I received a message stating an account already exists with this email. This issue arose after I deactivated my initial account and tried to start fresh. I believe it became complicated when I received an invitation card with code [redacted], which directed me to log in with my old cox.net email that I no longer have access to. If possible, could you please assist me in resolving this situation by either deleting the old account or allowing me to proceed with the new one? Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you,
Kathy Miramontes

Hello,
I need assistance in sending a post to the Lynhaven neighborhood. Lynhaven is not listed among the 21 standard neighborhoods that I usually have access to, as I reside in the Hathaway neighborhood.
The post is about a dog found on the streets in Lynhaven without an ID tag, and we want to inform the residents there about where they can find the dog. I have tried posting in the Lost & Found section, but Lynhaven is not part of those neighborhoods. I did find Lynhaven under 'Sale and Free' in the 'Broader Neighborhoods' section, but the post is not related to selling or giving away anything.
Could you please suggest how I can send a post to Lynhaven from Hathaway, considering I currently do not have access to that neighborhood? Thank you for your help. Apologies if my question seems confusing.

I am facing a concerning problem with the Lead of Nextdoor in Durbin Crossing, St. Johns, FL. The Lead has been removing the recommendations I receive, which is impacting my small business. Neighbors are satisfied with my services and naturally provide recommendations. However, the Lead seems biased, allowing recommendations from neighbors she knows while targeting mine. Furthermore, she neglects to address neighbor concerns adequately and exhibits rude behavior. This situation is both frustrating and ridiculous, affecting both my business and well-being. In comparison to past Leads who were excellent, she does not seem suitable for the position. I kindly request a review of this matter and appropriate action against the Lead. Restoring my deleted recommendations, which hold significant value, would greatly assist in resolving this issue.

We have been facing issues with Nextdoor concerning our civic association in the [redacted] zip code area. Despite being operational for nearly a century prior to Nextdoor's establishment, we are struggling to define our boundaries on the platform. Despite providing our census tract coordinates multiple times, Nextdoor has not recognized them. The Suitland Civic Association, Inc., established in [redacted] and chartered in [redacted], is the oldest continuously active civic association in Prince George's County, MD. Attempting to set up a business page on Nextdoor has been challenging due to the presence of other entities like apartment buildings, churches, and stores in our area, which Nextdoor does not seem to acknowledge.

I was attempting to add a property to a new neighborhood using an additional account but mistakenly entered the wrong address, causing me to be outside the desired area. I am part of the "Pine's Park Community" in Champlin, MN using [redacted] When I used [redacted] with the incorrect address, the system tried to create a new community for me, leaving me unable to edit my profile. I need to have my email [redacted] associated with the Lake Sullivan Minnesota community where my property is located, as I am now just outside of the boundary. The property doesn't have buildings, making it challenging to input the address accurately, but it is part of the Lake Sullivan Community.

I recently received a Next Door membership offer by mail for our community. This morning, a guest staying with me started the enrollment process using my name and her email address. However, she didn't complete the submission and my name appeared on the site as a new member without her intending it. I'm displeased with this situation and want my name removed promptly. While she's welcome to join, I need my name replaced with hers. She didn't anticipate that names would be publicly displayed and thought she could only see event information. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

I received an email from your company on March 26th with a "welcome" message. I also got an email on the same day thanking me for "joining" and requesting to confirm my address. In addition, I received a flyer in my mailbox (which is against the law) promoting your service with a neighbor's name and street (without their consent). I did not sign up for your service. How did you obtain my email? I demand my details be removed from your system promptly, or I will escalate this issue to the Nevada Attorney General.

I recently received a letter inviting me to join our local Nextdoor community. The letter included a code, which I used to sign up on nextdoor.com. I have been a member of Nextdoor in our area for about four years but had forgotten my password. When I attempted to reset it, I received an email with reset information. However, after trying to create a new password, I found myself locked out of my account. The link provided for assistance did not work. I have tried accessing help on nextdoor.com, but it still indicates that I am locked out of my account.

Hello,
As a member of Nextdoor in Encino, California, I often observe more than engage due to the frequent escalation of comments into heated arguments. I believe it is necessary for the local lead to intervene and close off discussions when they veer off-topic and become disrespectful. Despite checking the platform daily, interactions seem to lean towards confrontation rather than positivity or helpfulness among neighbors.
I am curious about Nextdoor's protocols for intervention. When does Nextdoor typically intervene in discussions? What guidelines are in place for leads to manage conversations effectively? How does Nextdoor ensure leads adhere to safety measures, and how are discussions monitored for appropriateness?

I tried reaching out to the customer service at gethuman.com, but unfortunately, it didn't provide any actual assistance. Despite my efforts to explain the issue several times, the help desk only kept asking if I had resolved the problem, with the latest email mentioning it would be the final inquiry. This lack of support was quite frustrating.
My account got locked after someone posted a fake car advertisement on it. As a result, I am unable to log in. My username, which is also my email address, is [redacted] Although I managed to update my password, I am still getting an error message stating that "this account cannot be used to sign in to the Nextdoor app."

I encountered a distressing situation with a lead who had been harassing me. Despite muting him, he somehow managed to continue contacting me through private messages on March 31st. His messages were inappropriate and included scary threats towards me and my partner. I took immediate action and involved the police. This individual should not have been able to access my private information or send me messages after being muted. I believe he is unfit to be a lead due to his behavior and discriminatory remarks. I have collected evidence of his misconduct, including screenshots of our conversations. I am requesting to speak with a higher-level manager promptly, or I will have to escalate the matter further. My safety feels compromised, and I fear for my well-being and that of my family. Your attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.

I am scheduled to attend a crucial meeting with the Board of County Commissioners in Orlando, FL tomorrow. A petition on Nextdoor opposing a preschool project was taken down this morning. I have been trying to determine the reasons and the individual who removed it since 2:00 pm ET. I suspect the preschool representative is involved. While the exact hierarchy of individuals like owners, investors, and lobbyists is not known, we are certain of some key figures. A dubious family has been identified as being part of this issue and were notably mentioned in the petition. I believe someone associated with them claimed it was slanderous, which is not the case. It's essential for the public to be aware of any misconduct tied to preschools. Removing the petition only serves to benefit them. The change.org petition is titled "Opposition to Wondermere Garden Preschool."

I have not been receiving emails from Nextdoor PB Northshore Highlands since April 1, [redacted]. I reached out to support at Nextdoor.com and tried all their suggestions. I checked my junk folder, visited the newsfeed, and saw recent posts, but the emails have stopped abruptly without any changes in my settings. I am concerned that a block may have been placed on my email address. I would like Nextdoor to investigate this issue and find out why the emails have suddenly ceased. Thank you.

For the past week, I've been dealing with a suspended account due to a neighbor's actions on Nextdoor and with government agencies. Despite explaining my situation to state officials and the Fire Department visiting my home, my account remains suspended. I posted on Nextdoor without naming names to advise neighbors about needing a permit for burning yard waste. Someone reported me, resulting in my account suspension. I've followed all the necessary steps to resolve this but haven't received any updates. I believe the issue has been overlooked, and I haven't received responses to my emails. I've also tried reaching out on Instagram without success. I'm hoping for assistance in connecting with the CEO of communications or data security to address this matter promptly.

I am curious why I've been removed from NEXTDOOR. I actively engage in neighborhood watch patrols in Ganesha Hills. Recently, a conflict arose with my neighbor, Lisa Snider, who posted about my truck on the platform. Despite forgiving her past harassment, she continues to provoke disputes. I contribute essential updates to our community, aiding our local police force. My reports on NEXTDOOR have attracted numerous new participants to the site. Living in a less secure area, my efforts have made the neighborhood safer. I provide regular updates to neighbors, eliminating the need for watch meetings. Concerns about Lisa's disruptive behavior are widespread among locals and NEXTDOOR leads Diane and Ron can attest to my positive impact. I hope for a reconsideration of my account suspension, as my reports are valued by many neighbors. I seek clarity on the complaint to prevent similar issues in the future. Despite facing challenges like handling drug-related incidents, I am committed to maintaining a safe community. Looking forward to being an active member of NEXTDOOR again. Best regards, Jack Foster.
