Concerns About Censorship and City Leadership
I recently posted a message on Cloverdale Leads expressing worries about the city budget and suggesting a need for council reform. Unfortunately, my post was swiftly removed. I believe in open dialogue and respect for differing opinions, especially during these uncertain times. It is crucial for our community to have transparent and responsible leadership.
I urge for a shift towards thoughtful planning and inclusive decision-making. We should value the contributions of all citizens and aim for a better future. It is disheartening to witness decisions that may harm local businesses and overlook crucial issues like water resource management during a drought.
Let's support our hardworking city employees and push for a council that prioritizes the well-being of our town. Every voice matters in shaping our community's future. Let's work together to find sustainable solutions and create a positive path forward.

I need to update my profile, but I can't remember my password. My attempts to reset it via email are unsuccessful with a "user not found" message. I initially created the account on my iPhone, and in settings, the email displayed ends with @privaterelay.appleid.com, which is unfamiliar to me. I managed to access the password reset page using this email. However, I encounter an error (com.nextdoor.nnnetwork.http-error error [redacted]) when trying to set a new password. I'm currently unable to proceed and require help with this issue. Thank you.

I would like a post about me to be removed, as it is a violation of data protection and appears to be harassing behavior from my neighbor. The article contains untrue information that could potentially cause issues for me, my 13-year-old child, and our property. I have filed a complaint with the police and provided evidence.
The post was published on Nextdoor on January 30th by Barrie, Danny, and Tina Smith, accusing me of being cruel to a dog. However, my dog was only two months old at the time and was not even outdoors. Sharing my address in this context is completely unacceptable and could make us a target for false accusations.
I am a responsible pet owner with six well-cared-for animals, all regularly seen by a veterinarian in Willenhall. They receive booster shots and have insurance. It is important that Barrie, Danny, and Tina Smith are contacted for not following Nextdoor's guidelines and are requested to remove their post and issue a written apology to me, Mrs. C. Dunn at 59 Longwood Rise, Willenhall. I hope they are banned from the Nextdoor platform to prevent further distress. I now have a crime reference number and will keep the police informed of any ongoing harassment. Thank you, Mrs. Dunn.

Afternoon,
I am experiencing account suspension issues that I find perplexing. Following a situation where I was discriminated against, harassed, and intimidated, I filed a complaint. Surprisingly, I ended up being suspended instead. I possess evidence of the individual's posts requesting me to vacate the area and stepping down from my neighborhood council board candidacy. They also repeatedly shared preliminary election results claiming victory and insisting I give up my position for another candidate. Furthermore, this person disclosed my home and rental property address online and threatened to report me to the fire department for yard maintenance violations. Despite coordination with the fire department, they confirmed this individual had no authority to inspect my properties. This individual, known as CLYDE Williams or Thomas Williams, has a history of discriminatory behavior and intimidation towards others. If anyone contacts me at [redacted] or emails me at r, it's probable they are associated with the circumstances leading to my suspension.

I am experiencing trouble verifying my account using my valid cell phone number. The app is only offering to verify via postcard, which I find inconvenient. I initially registered at [redacted] Azalea Court, Mandeville, LA [redacted], in the Greenleaves Estates neighborhood two years ago. My email is [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted] on the account. I prefer not to wait for a postcard with a verification code to start using the app to promote my services to my neighbors. Kindly reach out to me as you already possess all the necessary information.

I was censored from the site, and I want to ensure the company understands that censorship could harm the platform. My conversation wasn't offensive, but Nextdoor seems to control the narrative based on their views. People value freedom and liberty. It feels like being in a movie where conversations are monitored as if in prison, where you can speak freely until cut off by guards. Not a welcoming setting, not that I have been to prison. Free speech should allow open discussion unless there's vulgarity, offensiveness, or clear racism. The issue lies in who decides what is censored. It seems to be one person following a checklist without using common sense. I won't use the site until Nextdoor addresses this matter. Also, I won't engage in any advertising on the platform.

I was informed that someone mentioned I had relocated, but the details were not disclosed to me. This lack of transparency is disappointing. I seek assistance with my Nextdoor account. My name is Louise Drugan, and I have resided in this location for 24 years. Apologies for the capitalized text, that was unintentional. I previously used the email address [redacted], but have since updated to a new one. I am now receiving emails on both accounts, leading to confusion as none are accessible. A time-sensitive email prompted me to respond within 30 minutes, which is inconvenient as I do not constantly monitor my computer. I request guidance on linking my Nextdoor account solely to my preferred email, [redacted], within a 24-hour timeframe. The restrictive timeframes, like the 6:00 AM email alert, hinder my ability to engage promptly. I am also interested in hiring a local tutor and engaging in buying and selling activities within the platform. Your assistance in rectifying this matter and allowing access through my designated email would be greatly appreciated.

I was removed from Nextdoor by a neighbor who was biased against me. The neighbor, Denver C., had been harassing me both online and in person. He reported me, and now my account has been disabled or possibly even deleted. I had a group and connections on Nextdoor, and all of this happened because of one person's dislike towards me. It's unfair that someone like him has the authority to do this. There should be a better system in place on Nextdoor to handle these situations. It seems like he targeted me because he doesn't like strong women, which is unjust and discriminatory. He should be permanently removed from the platform. The fact that I can't defend myself or address this issue is frustrating. Nextdoor needs to address these types of situations more effectively.

On Monday, a post of mine was removed, and I inquired why. Jenni Johnson shared guidelines, to which I responded she should be aware. Bob Kissinger then made an unnecessary comment. The next day, I clarified to Bob that my response was directed at Jenni, accusing him of inciting trouble. Subsequently, his responses became harsh, bullying, disrespectful, and included untrue statements. I believe his behavior violated ND guidelines, so I reported him. As a result, my account has been disabled for four days. I am curious if Bob Kissinger's account faced the same consequence. If he had not interfered, this situation could have been avoided. I have never posted such negative content about anyone on ND as Bob Kissinger directed at me. I am seeking reinstatement of my account.

I shared a story about a woman taking paperwork from a dumpster, and the responses were focused on defending her rather than considering the potential risks. Why would someone take paperwork instead of physical items like furniture? The concern is the sensitive information like email addresses, account numbers, and personal correspondence she could find. Despite my valid worry, the replies mainly sympathized with her instead of recognizing the security implications. The post had to be removed due to the misguided reactions. It's frustrating to see people overlook the real issue and simply label her as a victim. The lack of concern for security in this situation is truly concerning.

I require immediate assistance with our business subscription, which has provided no value. I cannot track our posts, despite managing websites. I refuse to pay Just Answer for their unreliable services that suddenly increased from $1 to $5 within minutes of interaction. I am open to resolving issues over the phone to salvage the account but refuse to continue with minimal benefits and past overbilling. The incessant complications must cease promptly. While I may not cancel yet, urgent action is necessary for two events within 48 hours. Despite my efforts to maintain the subscription per the Board of Directors' advice, I now comprehend their perspective. Contact me at [redacted]. Regards, B. Gonyea, Executive Director, Gateway House of Peace.

I keep getting flagged for offering free scrap metal pick-up on my residential page. I can't log in until the 27th, which doesn't seem fair. I'm not selling anything, just providing a community service. I believe this is unjust, especially since I have a separate business page for promotions. It's confusing as the guidelines seem unclear on what's considered promotion. I wish there was better guidance on how to engage with my neighbors without being penalized. This situation is frustrating for someone like me who is simply trying to earn a living honestly.

Hello,
I want to address the recent situation with Jeff Morris on Nextdoor. Despite reporting his harassing messages and concerns about his behavior, my account was unexpectedly banned. Jeff seems to be abusing the platform for his political views, even involving his wife in targeting me. I have evidence of these actions and have also contacted Facebook about this matter.
I respectfully request the immediate reinstatement of my account and would like to discuss this issue further with a local representative. It is important to prevent such behavior on social media. Disagreements should not lead to private harassment. I am prepared to take further action if necessary.
I have screenshots documenting the harassment I received. Please review the evidence and take appropriate action against the individuals involved. I can be reached at [redacted]. I am eager to resolve this matter promptly and regain access to my account.
Thank you,
S.W.

My account was disabled after a neighbor took offense to my views on COVID vaccines. It seems unfair, and I would like to have my account reinstated. I shared my opinion that the vaccines may not be safe, which the neighbor did not appreciate and threatened to report. Shortly after, my account was disabled. I believe it's unjust as I did not engage in any inappropriate behavior. I enjoy using the many features of the Nextdoor platform and will avoid controversial discussions in the future. While I usually refrain from such debates, on this occasion, I felt compelled to express my thoughts. As a longtime civil rights attorney, I value freedom of speech. I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you. L.L.

I recently encountered an issue with my account being disabled after posting my first article due to omitting my name. I would appreciate assistance in reinstating my account. I go by the nickname MO, but my real name is Mitzi O Logan. I reside in Manhattan Beach, CA with the ZIP code [redacted].
This was the post that led to the account restriction: "Seeking recommendations for a skilled landscape gardener to transform our front yard. We are in need of a professional who can replace our overgrown volunteer junk trees with high-quality trees. Despite searching on various platforms like Google, we have not been successful in finding the right fit. Most individuals advertising as landscapers primarily offer services such as lawn maintenance, sidewalk installations, or flower planting, lacking the expertise in designing a beautiful front yard with exquisite trees. If you are aware of a suitable candidate, kindly inform us. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."

Hello, last night I reached out regarding a thread on my local Nextdoor in Springfield, Virginia, that is excessively religious and violates Nextdoor's guidelines. I reported it, and others have as well, as the content, such as the thread titled "Glory be to God who designed everything," contains religious statements that are offensive to non-believers. The local leads have been unresponsive in removing it. I worry that it may upset others for its religious nature, and I believe such discussions should be in a separate group as per the guidelines. My contact information is [redacted], and my phone numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. Can you help remind the Springfield, VA leads to enforce Nextdoor's guidelines on sensitive topics like religion? Thank you. Kris Wilson from Broyhill Park.

Subject: Nextdoor App Account Issue
To whom it may concern,
I am writing regarding the temporary ban of my account on the Nextdoor App that serves the Glendale, CA [redacted] area.
My name is Angele, and I go by the username Angel Zil. When I attempted to log in today, I was surprised to find that my account has been banned for 30 days without explanation. I believe this action was taken because I expressed a differing opinion from other users regarding a post about the Glendale police.
I stand by my comments and do not feel they were disrespectful. I also received offensive messages from other users, which I reported to your admin. I am concerned about the handling of these incidents and would like a thorough review of my account activity to ascertain that I have not violated any community guidelines.
I value the opportunity to express my opinions on the platform and do not believe I should be silenced for having a dissenting view. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I may have to consider legal action as I feel my rights as a user and citizen have been infringed upon.
I request a swift resolution and appreciate your attention to this issue.
Thank you.

I am Vincent Dunn. Recently, my neighbors informed me that they received emails from your company using my name to promote your services without my permission. Despite not being a user of your service or signing up for it, my neighbors have been misled. I urge you to confirm in writing that my information has been removed entirely from your database and that no further emails will be sent to me. I was prompted to reach out after receiving an email from your CEO, Sarah Friar, regarding "important news." I simply wish to receive confirmation that my data has been erased, no more correspondence will be sent, and my name will not be used inappropriately again. It seems your path to going public involves misleading endorsements from individuals like myself who do not endorse your service. I eagerly await your reply. Best, Vincent Dunn

In the summer of [redacted], I responded to a local request on Nextdoor Digest in the South Oxfordshire area, England, recommending Kitchen Fitters. Today in July [redacted], I was contacted by Harrop Developments after expressing my concerns about their services. Mr. Harrop explained some delays in fitting my kitchen were due to design errors, not his company's fault, along with other customer commitments. Despite our conversation, I stand by my initial feedback. Considering that Mr. Harrop has hired more staff and is busy with kitchen installations in our area, I believe my comments should now be removed from the Nextdoor Digest page.

My son has been waiting for a refund of approximately $[redacted] but has not received any response since July 19 despite sending multiple emails indicating his desire for a refund or to reopen his account. His account being frozen daily is impacting his livelihood, which is unacceptable. If we do not hear back by the end of business day 7/21/[redacted], we may need to involve an attorney for discrimination and withholding money.
Additionally, I have filed a slander complaint against a individual named Howie Welfish on this app. The accusations made against me for wanting to assist a man who helps my son with his trash removal business are unfounded and disgraceful. If I am unable to share my GoFundMe link on NextDoor, it would be disappointing as I believed the purpose of the app was to aid individuals in need.
