I encountered serious cleanliness issues with the room I was initially assigned to at 5:30 pm Eastern Standard Time. Room [redacted] lacked bed linens and had unpleasant odors and garbage scattered outside. After informing the front desk, I was moved to room [redacted], which also had several issues such as peeling furniture, a dirty mirror, and a neglected tub. The phone in room [redacted] was also unclean. I expected higher standards from Motel 6 for the price of $[redacted].34 I paid for my stay. I hope to discuss these concerns further and can be reached at [redacted].

I work in Merced, CA with our company, Green's Roofing. Last night, a coworker and I checked into our room around 11:30 PM. After my coworker found some glass under his bed, he placed it on the nightstand to ensure safety. Later, when we checked out, the staff accused us of doing drugs in the room and refused to return our deposit. My friend, who is a recovering addict with 13 years of sobriety, was deeply offended by this false accusation. As a business owner who values hard work and family, I am shocked and feel violated by this experience at Motel 6 in Merced. The employee who accused us was named Ashley.

Subject: Unresolved Issues at Motel 6 North - Need Assistance
Hi there,
I wanted to bring to your attention some ongoing concerns at Motel 6 North, located at [redacted] N Camino De Oeste, Tucson AZ [redacted]. My name is Jamie Bourne, and my two daughters and I have been residing at this location for almost a year due to being unlawfully evicted from our home in [redacted].
Throughout our stay, we have encountered multiple issues, one of which involves individuals smoking marijuana on the premises, impacting our living conditions. Despite my repeated complaints to both the staff and housekeeping, the problem persists without any resolution. Additionally, the lack of cleanliness in the linens provided to us, coupled with delays in obtaining essentials from the maids, has been a recurrent issue. I have raised my concerns about these matters and requested a housekeeping discount from the weekly rate of $[redacted], but have been unsuccessful in receiving any adjustments.
Furthermore, I have sought employment opportunities within the housekeeping department to save money for a new apartment, but my requests have been denied based on my current residency at the motel. The restrictions on leaving my children unattended in the room while I work outside the premises have also posed challenges for me.
I would appreciate any assistance in addressing these issues promptly, as they have significantly impacted the quality of our stay at Motel 6 North.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Regards,
Jamie Bourne

I had a reservation at the Pacific Ocean Pismo Beach property for 7/29/20 checking out on 8/1/20. Sadly, on the morning of 7/29/20 at 2:30 am, the Veterans Administration Menlo Park informed me of my husband's passing. I called the hotel when they opened to explain and was told they would discuss it with their administration. Now I noticed the full charge coming out of my bank account. It's distressing considering the circumstances. I kindly request most of the money to be refunded, understanding a cancellation fee may apply. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

My concern is regarding safety issues. When I stayed at Motel 6 in Evanston, Wyoming in November [redacted] and on 7/29/18, I encountered a problem with the smoke detectors. In [redacted], the detector in my room was disconnected, and despite informing the management, it was not promptly replaced. On my recent stay, the same room lacked a smoke detector, and upon observation, I noticed other rooms also had the same issue. This negligence not only violates safety codes but also shows a disregard for guest safety by the franchise owner. The property itself seemed neglected with overgrown weeds, litter scattered around, and poorly maintained facilities. The room was unclean with stained towels and bedsheets, lacking basic amenities. Having been a frequent visitor to Motel 6 for 40 years, I can say that this was the worst experience so far. I've noticed a decline in amenities and services across Motel 6 locations, which I attribute to a lack of corporate oversight and policy changes, diminishing the value for the customers.

I recently spent 2 nights at the Motel 6 in Lantana. My home was damaged by Hurricane Harvey, so my family and I had to find a new place to stay. I requested a smoking room but was given a non-smoking room without any signs indicating so. The next day, I tried to book another 2-night stay, but was told I was on a "DO NOT RENT" list. The receptionist mentioned I could only be on the list for causing a disturbance or involving law enforcement. I have tried to contact a manager with no success. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue as I believe there was a lack of communication at the front desk.

URGENT. I recently stayed at Motel 6 Sacramento Central on College Town Drive in Sacramento from July 29th to August 3, [redacted]. During my stay, I experienced poor treatment and discrimination. My room was not cleaned, sheets unchanged, bathtub and bathroom dirty, and garbage not emptied despite daily complaints. The staff made excuses, laughed at me, and did not provide a refund. I feel discriminated against due to my race. Moreover, my privacy was violated as someone entered my room without permission while neglecting the cleaning duties. I request a prompt refund for the inadequate service and an investigation into unauthorized room entries. Thank you. - J.H.

I spoke with a representative from Motel 6 Corporations regarding my unpleasant experience at the SACRAMENTO 6 Central location. I have been requesting room service in the morning before heading to work and school but have not received it. When I return in the evening, the room remains untouched with trash piling up, used towels not replaced, dirty tub, and unswept floors. The management and staff provide excuses when I complain, and I often have to ask for towels myself, which is unfair. The presence of security guards outside my room making me feel uncomfortable, particularly with their behavior towards me. I am unhappy with the service and cleanliness of the room. I have also noticed someone going through my belongings without cleaning or replacing anything. I am seeking a full refund for my stay.

During my trip to Buffalo to visit friends, I booked a room at the Motel 6 in Amherst for August 2 through my travel agency Egencia. I extended my stay for a second night on August 3 for $57.78 during check-in. However, the next day, the hotel staff claimed I hadn't paid for the additional night and even removed my belongings from the room. I was forced to pay $[redacted] for that night. After showing the manager, Amanda, my bank statement, she refunded me $57, acknowledging their error. My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff seemed disorganized, impolite, and violated my privacy by mishandling my belongings.

To the appropriate party,
I checked in at Motel 6 in Eau Claire, WI on Friday, August 3, [redacted], at around 9:30 PM for a reservation lasting until August 5th.
I have several complaints:

4) Only one towel was provided in a two-bed room due to a shortage.
5) Noise from adjacent rooms was easily heard.
6) I do not feel secure with my family in our room.
I am requesting a full refund and will not be staying for the second night of my reservation.

I live in Redding, CA and made a reservation through Travelocity for a room at Motel 6 in Monterey on N. Fremont Blvd. When I arrived around 3:10 p.m. with my mother, son, and niece, the employee informed us that my mother's expired driver's license was not acceptable under their policy. We had to cancel through Travelocity because the employee found it too complex to handle. Unfortunately, I had to pay for the room as I didn't cancel within 24 hours. Despite being ready to stay, I couldn't due to the ID policy for all adults. I managed to find a room at the Tides without any issues. I kindly request a refund from human resources. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, M.K.

To whom it may concern at the corporate office, I am Margarita C. and recently encountered a problem at your Stockton, California location. My children were fundraising for their uncle's funeral, and after requesting to speak to a supervisor, we were met by a housekeeping manager who informed us we were blacklisted. Despite having spent over $1,[redacted] on hotel stays, the manager named Rebekah or Rebeca, was extremely impolite and lacked professionalism. Nora, the housekeeping manager, conveyed that your team instructed not to accommodate us anymore. I am a dissatisfied customer and hope this issue can be resolved for the benefit of your future customers. The address of the location is [redacted] West March Lane, Stockton, California [redacted]. Dear Sirs,
I wanted to share my experience staying at your motel last year in July, which left me very satisfied.
However, I'm writing to express my serious disappointment regarding my recent reservation made in June [redacted]. Upon arriving at Motel 6 on Maple Rd in Buffalo, NY at [redacted] on 8/3/18 at 10:20 pm from Texas, I encountered poor customer service. The front desk attendant, when I requested to use the restroom, was unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my need.
Despite booking a non-smoking room with a small refrigerator, my requests were ignored. The room itself was dirty, and the lack of towels made my stay uncomfortable. When inquiring about the missing refrigerator, the new staff member explained they were unable to provide one, contradicting the previous staff's information.
As a frequent visitor to Buffalo, I am disappointed by this experience and will not be returning to your property in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I stayed at Motel 6 on August 3rd, located at [redacted] Southside Commercial Pkwy, Jonesboro, GA [redacted]. Despite reserving and paying with my Visa three weeks in advance, upon arrival, our booking had been canceled. The lobby had a strong scent of cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. The sheets in the room we were eventually assigned had others' hair on them and appeared unwashed. The bedspread seemed to have stains we found concerning. The bathroom showed signs of mold, and we were oddly given an accessible room despite not needing one. Lack of basic amenities like a hairdryer and iron made it challenging to prepare for a family event. The closet was too small to hang our clothes, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The environment reeked of cigarette smoke, even in a designated smoke-free room. The staff should be more attentive to changing sheets daily and maintaining cleanliness. It was a disappointing stay, and I doubt I will choose Motel 6 again in the future.

During my recent stay at Motel 6 for a business meeting, I encountered ongoing issues with the water supply in my room. Despite my request to switch rooms, I was met with unhelpful and rude behavior from the front desk staff. The manager also seemed unsympathetic to my concerns and unfairly took the side of the staff member, leading to further frustration and stress. These recurring incidents, along with past negative experiences at the same location, have severely impacted my stay and professional obligations. I am disappointed and troubled by the lack of resolution and respectful treatment. My intention to extend my stay at the Thousand Oaks Motel 6 was unexpectedly denied, adding to my current ordeal. I urge for prompt attention and a satisfactory resolution to these ongoing problems.

I made a reservation for my granddaughter and her children at the Motel 6 on Downey Ave. in Bellflower, California for a 2-week stay. However, my perception of the hotel being nice quickly changed once we arrived. The grounds were constantly littered with trash, there were people using drugs and drinking outside at night, and the police had to be called to the hotel multiple times. Additionally, there were issues with our key cards not working and my granddaughter was even offered drugs. This experience was far from the family-friendly environment I expected from Motel 6; instead, it felt unsafe and unsuitable for families. We paid a significant amount for this stay, and it was disappointing and frightening each night of our vacation. It might be worth investigating the management of this specific Motel 6.

Upon my arrival, I encountered multiple issues. Initially, I had to endure a 30-minute wait to check in, under the scorching [redacted]-degree weather. Upon entering my room, the television was not functional, resulting in a 2-hour delay. Subsequently, I discovered there was no hot water, forcing me to take a cold shower. Attempting an early morning shower today, I found my bathroom flooded due to a burst pipe from another room, posing health risks from mold and mildew. It seems evident that previous attempts to cover up the mold and mildew have been made. I am unable to overlook these inconveniences, and I am seeking reimbursement for the troubles faced during my stay. Despite discussions with the office staff, a resolution seems elusive. Contact me urgently before my check-out at [redacted].

I reserved a room at Motel 6 in Columbia, SC for August 7th to August 9th. Upon arrival, we were allowed to check in early, which was great after a long day. Unfortunately, we encountered some issues with bugs in the room and lights flickering, which was frustrating as we were trying to get ready for dinner. Despite notifying the front desk multiple times, the problems were not resolved, and the manager was inaccessible. I eventually decided to leave and requested a refund for the night. The staff initially mentioned needing manager approval for a refund, but eventually agreed to refund me for Wednesday night. I left and checked into a different hotel, as I felt the situation was poorly handled and I shouldn't be charged for a full night's stay when I didn't even stay the full night. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and the unavailability of the manager at Motel 6.

I was mistaken for a woman who stayed at the hotel for 10 days. She had an argument with the manager while I was outside with my service dog. This woman accused the manager of unfair treatment towards her and falsely claimed he pushed me. I clarified that this didn't happen and had no association with her. Despite being asked to leave by the manager, I requested to stay as I waited for my ride. The situation escalated as the manager threatened to call the police. Eventually, a kind couple let me wait inside. The sheriff's department arrived and permitted me to stay until 6 pm. I had paid for another night but was denied access to my room due to lack of hard copy ID. I'm now requesting a refund and an apology for the distress caused. I experienced humiliation and undeserved scrutiny. I'm in need of assistance and fairness from the hotel management in resolving this situation promptly.

On August 7th, I booked a room at the Buena Park Knotts Berry Farm location with confirmation number 1053M05137. Upon checking in at 9 am, I was informed by the front desk attendant that I was on the 'do not rent' list due to an allegation of smoking marijuana in a room on August 2. This is incorrect as I only smoke cigarettes, and I have always reserved smoking rooms in the past. The front desk attendant could not provide any management contact details, confirmation of my status on the list, or explanations about the situation. This mishap caused me frustration and wasted time and resources, especially after pre-booking online. I expect corporate or guest relations to rectify this error, explain why I was wrongly banned, and offer some form of compensation. I felt unfairly treated during my check-in on August 7th and seek clarification on this matter. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated to restore my trust and loyalty. Thank you, Jasmine.
