My Cadillac was stolen at 8 a.m. in broad daylight, and the head manager witnessed a young male underneath the vehicle but did not warn us, leading to a dangerous situation. There were drug dealers' syringes on the stairways, and prostitutes were active during all hours without any intervention from the manager, Betty. The location is Albuquerque, New Mexico, at I-40 and Carlisle Boulevard. We have also heard allegations that Betty is embezzling from the company to fund her gambling habit. We demand a refund or compensation for our 10-day stay. The conditions were unacceptable, prompting us to switch to Motel 6 to avoid further issues. We are both on disability and were put in a distressing situation that we did not deserve. We are considering taking this matter to the news if not resolved promptly. Thank you for addressing this promptly. Kenny and Sherry.

I recently checked into the hotel a few days ago exhausted after being awake for several days. Upon entering my room, I encountered a strange smell and found not just one or two but multiple roaches. Uncomfortable, I spent most of the night outdoors and even had to buy roach spray at 2 am. I informed guest relations, who offered me a choice of changing rooms or a free night. While I opted to switch rooms, I did not rest in the original one. On another night, there were disruptive individuals outside my room until early morning, and despite my complaints, management and security took no action until prompted. I came to the motel seeking rest, but the circumstances have left me with only three hours of sleep in the past week. I am requesting a refund or to be relocated to a new room for a proper resolution.

On 07/21/[redacted] at 3 pm, I received a call in room [redacted] at Mesa North, Mesa, AZ, from the front office. The office clerk told me "You need to check out." On 07/20/[redacted], I paid $[redacted].59 for a 7-day stay with confirmation number 0378ACE880. When I went to the office, I encountered a rude desk clerk named Rosie. After showing her my confirmation, she asked me to sign on a touch screen IPAD and admitted to being the one who called my room. I was disappointed by the lack of apology for the error. Rosie did not check my reservation before demanding I check out and did not show any remorse for her behavior. I expect better treatment from a major hotel chain. Spending my hard-earned money should warrant basic courtesy. If this is the standard of hospitality, I will look for accommodation elsewhere once my prepaid 7 days are over.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 on Markham St. in Little Rock, Arkansas, with my family for a month and a half. Unfortunately, it was not a suitable environment for us, especially with young children. The atmosphere felt unsafe with disturbances like people yelling, individuals carrying guns, and witnessing violent behavior. The manager, Jasmine, was unhelpful and dismissive towards our concerns. I was even asked to leave when my daughter and her friend walked between our adjacent rooms without any adults present. The conditions of the room were also subpar, with low water pressure in the sink and a clogged bathtub. I had to resort to using a personal bucket to remove the water. This experience left me extremely dissatisfied, and I am eager for a response from the motel management regarding these issues.

Hello, I am Alana Kocho. I'm currently a guest at Motel 6 in Destin. I arrived at 1pm hoping to check in early but was told to return after 3pm. Upon return, there were no clean rooms available. Despite waiting patiently for 2 hours and seeing other guests check in, I was still left without a room. The manager was unable to assist me, resulting in a disappointing start to my stay. As a loyal customer, I had to cancel my plans due to this inconvenience.

I recently stayed at a Motel 6 in Spring, Texas on July 7th and 8th. Unfortunately, the room was in a very poor condition. There were roaches, unchanged bed linens, malfunctioning toilet, no coffee pot, and a shower that did not work properly and was falling off the wall. The housekeeping staff did not speak English and were not allowed to provide luggage carts, despite us seeing one being used by guests. Due to the unsatisfactory state of the room, we had to book another accommodation. I am seeking a refund for the nights of July 7th and 8th. This experience has led me to decide not to stay at the Motel 6 in Spring, Texas ever again.

In May [redacted], my brother, S. S., checked into a room at your Prescott, Arizona location. He used a friend's card, T. W., to secure the booking but ended up paying cash for almost two weeks' stay. Unfortunately, he was arrested on May 25, and when his friends came to collect his belongings, they faced delays until May 28, resulting in extra charges. Additionally, money was missing from his wallet, further complicating his stay. Repeated attempts to be reimbursed for the unused days totaling over $[redacted], plus the stolen $[redacted], have been unsuccessful despite assurances of a refund and manager callbacks that never materialize. I, S. R., of Fairhope, Alabama, am disappointed by the lack of resolution and the financial strain this situation has caused. I urge the management of Motel 6 in Prescott to address this matter promptly.

I had a concerning experience at a hotel on West 38th Street in Indianapolis. Initially asked to leave due to having guests, we later faced more issues with an employee peering through our window. The police found no problems, suggesting we contact corporate or file a civil complaint. I am seeking a refund as I do not want to pay for a room we are not using. I have evidence showing the room was left in order, as confirmed by the police. Please call me back at [redacted] as soon as possible, as I hope to resolve this promptly. Thank you, Ronnie Pickett.

The Motel 6 in Ridgecrest, California requires immediate attention from the corporate office due to its poor conditions. The establishment is in disrepair and unclean. The cleaning staff are paid under the table and some even reside on-site with their families. Many guests stay for extended periods, attracting drug dealers and addicts. The premises are littered with trash and the housekeepers are frequently seen working late hours. Locals refer to it as the "meth motel." The owners are impolite and show preference for cash transactions to avoid recording income. In conclusion, this location does not uphold the standards expected of a Motel 6 and warrants an investigation.

I paid a high price during peak season for a room in Newport, R.I. and encountered several issues:
1. Room not ready by 5 p.m.
2. A/C stuck on high, room freezing with damp clothes.
3. Broken ice machine.
4. Bed not changed, with long hairs present.
5. Receipt shows different amount than paid.
6. Manager unavailable to explain pricing difference.
7. Doors damaged.
8. Unsupervised children of employees roaming corridors.
This is only a portion of my concerns. I am upset that the bed was made without being changed. I request an immediate refund for the overcharge and a partial refund for the poor conditions.
I followed the advice on your Facebook page and contacted Guest Relations. Initially told my reservation was cancelled and that I had never stayed there. No phone call received. No response from Guest Relations or Facebook support.
If this is not resolved, I will proceed with disputing the charge. Reservation was under my husband's name: Mark Schleider.

My son, who is a paraplegic, and I have been staying in a regular small room for 4.5 months while waiting for handicap housing. There is a legal size handicap room a few doors down that would be much more suitable for us. It has a full-size refrigerator, a sink in the room (instead of in the bathroom), a roll-in shower, beds that are accessible from the side, and better quality floors. Currently, my son has to get in the bed from the foot, which is more challenging than a side transfer. The room has been closed for remodeling since we arrived on 3/7 and has been rented to non-handicap guests at higher rates during festivals, which I find concerning. I appreciate the kindness of the owner and staff, but there are various issues with the room, including the refrigerator not working properly and the size not being adequate for our needs. The housekeeping staff, including younger individuals, enter rooms when guests are not present, which is unsettling. I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations that were much cleaner and offered better amenities, such as continental breakfast and efficient laundry facilities.

I made a reservation for a room in Hammond, Indiana, for several weeks while working at the BP chemical plant in Whitening, Indiana, on 7/7/18. Due to relocating on the suggestion of my coworkers, I canceled the reservation on 7/12/18, explaining the reason to the manager and requesting my card information to be removed. However, they have still charged my card twice for July 21, amounts of $60.47 and $54.00, for the week I wasn't there. I did not authorize these charges, and my card should not have been used. I need assistance in stopping the payments and removing my card information from their system. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you.

During my time at Motel 6 in Westminster, Caroline, my manager, frequently insisted that I didn't need to hire anyone. Despite her belief, I felt the need for more income. She repeatedly placed blame on me for any mishaps that occurred. I was terminated without evidence, solely based on rumors. Caroline's comments about only hiring me out of pity and implying that I was incompetent left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. Her conflicting statements and actions created a hostile work environment, constantly reminding me of her perception that I needed the job solely for money.

During the dates of July 20th to 23rd, [redacted], my stay at the Sparks Airport Motel 6 in Reno/Sparks, NV was disappointing. My reservation was mishandled, and upon entering the room, I found numerous issues such as a broken power outlet, missing pillowcase, blood on the bathroom floor, a hole in the wall, a broken toilet seat, and uncleanliness. The surrounding rooms reeked of cannabis, maintenance had to break into our room, and when I addressed these concerns with the manager, the response was lackluster. I have photographic evidence of the unsatisfactory conditions and request a full refund or a complimentary stay at a different, clean Motel 6 location. I have traveled extensively for 25 years and never encountered such poor accommodation. As a regular traveler, I feel compelled to share this as the worst stay experience I've ever had. The Spark Airport Motel 6 needs immediate attention. Thank you. - Richard S.

I arrived at the front office for check-in on Sunday, July 29, [redacted], at around 9:30 pm. The lady at the front desk was nice. I had pre-booked on Expedia. Upon opening the door to room [redacted], I was surprised by its size but found it nice and cute. However, shortly after settling in, I noticed I was not alone and saw rodents that looked like mice. I promptly called the front office, and she moved me to room [redacted]. To my horror, this room had over [redacted] bugs, with many dead on the floor. The bathroom was also very dirty. I was moved to a third room within three hours, where there were no mice or dead bugs, but I found bed bugs. This experience is completely unacceptable, and I won't be returning to this Motel 6. I shared photos with the front desk and expect a full refund for tonight's stay. My name is Heather Wells, and I am currently at the Motel 6 in Abilene, TX on West Stamford St.

Upon arriving at the front office on Sunday night, July 29, [redacted], around 9:30 pm to check in, I had a pleasant encounter with the nice lady at the front desk since I pre-booked via Expedia. Initially assigned to room [redacted], I was surprised by its small yet charming appearance. However, within a few hours of settling in, I noticed three rodents, likely mice, sharing the space with me. After promptly informing the front desk, I was relocated to room [redacted], which was shockingly infested with bugs, both alive and dead, along with what appeared to be pubic hair in the bathtub. Disgusted by this unacceptable situation, I was moved to a third room within hours where I encountered bed bugs. With this unpleasant experience of moving through three different rooms due to hygiene issues, complete with photographic evidence presented to the staff, I demand a full refund for the night's stay. This level of uncleanliness and pest infestation is entirely unacceptable, making it clear that I will not return to this Motel 6 location in Abilene, Texas on W. Stamford St.

I recently checked into your Stanton CA hotel on 7/28/18. I had reserved two nights, paid $[redacted].54, and stayed the first night. However, when I returned the next day around 6 pm PST, I found my belongings had been removed from my room. The front desk staff informed me I had only paid for one night, but I insisted it was for two nights. The interaction was unpleasant, and I was ultimately asked to leave the hotel. This has never happened in all my years of traveling for work. I am disputing the charge and will not stay at this hotel again. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I believe the desk clerk's behavior was out of line. As a frequent guest of your hotels, I am extremely disappointed. I suggest the desk clerk receive additional training. As a gesture of goodwill, I feel a complimentary night at one of your hotels would be appropriate.
Regards,
Keith C.

I made a reservation at the Motel 6 on Adventureland Drive in Altoona, Iowa for the Junior Olympics almost two months ago. When we arrived at 3 o'clock on July 28th, our room wasn't ready until 6 pm. We had to wait outside under the hot sun due to the delay. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, suggesting we find another place to stay when all other accommodations were fully booked. As a diabetic, above knee amputee, and with a 1-year-old daughter, waiting in the heat was challenging. It was disappointing how unprofessional and unsympathetic the staff were. It would be fair to be compensated for the inconvenience of not having our room ready on time and the added stress of having to wait for hours.

Good morning,
I reserved room #[redacted] for my daughter. I believe part of renting a room there is the ability to call and speak with her. On 7/30, I called three times during the day and spoke with Kenneth who repeatedly hung up on me. When I inquired about the call transfers, he hung up again, leaving me frustrated. While your motel is affordable for me, the unprofessionalism from your Customer Service team is disappointing. I plan to check her out tomorrow and likely will not return. Please be aware of the indifference displayed by some staff members at this location. If there is a manager or supervisor available, I would appreciate contact information.

During the Carr Fire evacuation, my family and I stayed at the Motel 6 in Anderson, CA. When we arrived at noon, we found the room to be dusty and the walls dirty. Despite cleaning it ourselves, after showering, our feet were covered in dirt. Mopping the floor resulted in black rags, and the housekeeper offered me cleaning supplies to rectify the issue. The bed had dust on the headboard, grime on the nightstands, and stains with crumbs and spots. Seeking a refund due to the unsatisfactory conditions, the front desk clerk and manager were unhelpful and disrespectful. Despite my financial constraints as an evacuee, they refused a refund. The level of filth in the room was unbearable, and I hope for a refund. This experience at this Motel 6 was disappointing, and improvements are needed at this location.
