I recently rented room [redacted] located at [redacted] N. Elizabeth Street, Pueblo, Colorado [redacted]. While unpacking groceries, I discovered a large cockroach, which I captured in a baggie to show the manager. Unfortunately, my wife found blood all over the shower, walls, floor, and toilet, indicating the room had not been cleaned. When I complained to the office, I was told to wait until morning to discuss the issue further. The next day, I spoke with Marie, who mentioned calling an exterminator to check for cockroaches and involving corporate. I am seeking a refund and a complimentary stay at another Motel 6 due to the distressing conditions we endured. I promptly had to clean and sanitize all my belongings for fear of pest contamination. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you.

I made a reservation from Friday, February 15th, [redacted], to Sunday, February 17th, [redacted], at Weeki Wachee Hotel in Florida. The website advertised rooms with free breakfast, microwaves, and refrigerators. Upon arrival, there were no microwaves or refrigerators in any of the rooms, causing issues for my husband who is a diabetic. On Saturday night, the electrical outlets didn't function, leading to the defibrillator's battery pack dying. I called customer service, and Dan's response was unsatisfactory, stating it was not their problem and refusing to assist. We are seeking a prompt response with apologies, resolution, and suitable compensation. Contact us at [redacted] or [redacted]. - Patricia and Roger Dennis.

I recently booked a room at Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach on Saturday 2/16/[redacted]. Upon arrival at 12:15, I was informed that my room would be ready between 3-4 pm. After waiting until 6:15, I was finally assigned a room. I requested to speak with the on-site GM, but he did not come as promised. The bathtub faucet was malfunctioning, and my children woke up with bumps that could possibly be from bed bugs. I left the hotel after midnight due to these issues. I have stayed at Motel 6 before without problems, so I hope this was an isolated incident. Despite not receiving a refund, I felt the need to share my negative experience as the staff assured the GM would address my concerns, which did not happen. I am now reaching out via email in search of a resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

During my stay at the Motel 6 in Lewisville, Texas last year, I encountered issues with the accommodation. Initially, I was assured over the phone that they could accommodate six people by a staff member named James. However, upon arrival, I was informed that they could not accommodate us as promised, despite already paying for the rooms. The beds, which were advertised as queen-sized, were too small for even me and my child to sleep comfortably. When I tried to address these concerns with the MOD, she did not provide a satisfactory response.
On February 15, [redacted], I booked a room only to be told upon arrival that they could not rent to me due to a negative review I allegedly left in the past. James recalled the review vividly, but I was taken aback as I have never had such an experience at any other hotel. After some back and forth, my cousin ended up renting the room in her name. Despite paying for one night upfront, I was later informed they could not extend my stay. It appears James intentionally mishandled the situation, even placing my cousin on a do not rent list. Despite promises of contact from the GM, no follow-up has occurred. Subsequent interactions with staff, like Owen, have been unhelpful and even rude, leaving me with unresolved issues that may require legal action.

On February 16, [redacted], I checked into the Motel 6 on Ogeechee Road in Savannah, GA around 8:00 PM and paid using my bank card. The clerk didn't provide a receipt. Upon entering the room, I encountered a bad odor, dirty sheets, and urine in the toilet. Disappointed, I decided to request a refund due to the unsatisfactory conditions. However, the clerk refused to grant me a refund or allow me to speak with the manager. Feeling frustrated, I contacted the police before leaving without receiving a refund. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, and I believe it is unfair not to receive my money back, especially since I didn't stay there and wasn't informed of the no refund policy by the clerk. My main concern is to get a refund for the unpleasant experience.

During my recent stay at Motel 6 on Delk Road in Marietta, Georgia, I encountered numerous issues with the rooms I was given. The first room had a severely damaged bathroom floor, so I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room had a tub in need of resurfacing, paint peeling off the walls, and a malfunctioning heating unit without a filter. I documented these problems through videos and photos, showing the uninhabitable conditions. Despite trying to reach the general manager and another staff member, I faced a constant runaround of excuses. Whenever I inquired about their availability, I was told they were in meetings or not present, even though I saw them leaving the office. Despite my repeated attempts to address these issues, I have not received any callbacks or resolutions, which I find extremely unprofessional. I expected a comfortable room during my stay, but instead, I had to endure a lack of heating and concerns about mold and room deterioration.

Subject: Assistance Requested Regarding Stay at Motel 6
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to address a few concerns I have regarding my stay at Motel 6 in Watsonville, Calif. I have been experiencing excessive noise and a lack of hot water in the shower. I have been in contact with Mr. Mike Gooding, VP of Operations for Motel 6 on the West Coast, and I appreciate his communication with me.
As the weather has been very cold and the road conditions hazardous due to black ice, I am kindly requesting assistance for a complimentary stay over the upcoming weekend. I have been a patron of Motel 6 for some time, spending a significant amount of money on my current week-long stay without basic amenities like a microwave or fridge in the room.
I have improvised by using trash buckets and ice to keep my food cold, which has been inconvenient. I am open to helping in any way I can in exchange for support during this challenging time.
Additionally, I want to mention that my church has tried to assist me with securing a night's stay but was unfortunately informed that they could not help. Any assistance or consideration would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and God bless.
Sincerely,
Alan D.

Last night in Boise, Idaho, I stayed at a Motel 6 near the airport. When I complained to the lady at the hotel about marijuana being smoked on the premises, she responded rudely and asked me to leave without refunding my money. I find it concerning that the hotel didn't address the issue of drug use. When I contacted the complaint department, the person I spoke with gave conflicting names (JoJo and then Kyle) and displayed rude behavior. The management at the Motel 6 in Boise appears to condone illegal drug use, which is unacceptable.

We were supposed to get a smoking room, but upon arrival, there were none available, so we had to endure staying in a non-smoking room and go outside in the cold to smoke. The next morning around 10 a.m., we requested a switch to a smoking room. The front desk attendant seemed agitated and mentioned they were doing their best to accommodate us. The conversation escalated, with the employee rudely responding to our concerns. After a tense exchange, we sought a refund for the remaining stay, were denied, and experienced a physical altercation where our phone was damaged. It was a distressing encounter, highlighting the need for better customer service skills in such situations.

I stayed at Motel 6 in La Mesa, California a few months ago for an extended period. Unfortunately, during my last visit, I discovered bed bugs in the room which had affected my grandson, me, and my granddaughter. After notifying the office, they promptly resolved the issue by relocating us to a different room where we didn't encounter any problems for the rest of our stay. Despite the manager's assurance that the room was clear of bed bugs after an inspection, when I returned a month later, I was unexpectedly placed on the Do Not Rent list. This same issue arose at a subsequent stay at Motel 6 El Cajon when I was accused of trashing a room without any evidence, leading to another ban. Although I maintain my cleanliness and peaceful demeanor during my stays, I've faced unwarranted treatment due to being unfairly judged. I value staying at Motel 6 and wish for a thorough investigation into these incidents, as I aim to continue renting from them in the future. I apologize for reaching out late regarding this matter but appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns on the appropriate platform.

I stayed at the Salt Lake location on February 15, [redacted], and left my room briefly, leaving two friends behind. Unfortunately, they left some items in the room that led to the staff entering and finding them, resulting in a paraphernalia charge. The manager requested $[redacted] for the return of my belongings, alleging I had smoked in the room. Despite my denial and lack of proof of damage, he insists on the payment. It's distressing as these are my only possessions, and I'm struggling financially. Addressing this issue with other staff proved futile as the manager enforces the retrieval of my belongings only in his presence and with the payment. I believe the room may be designated for smoking anyway. Can someone assist me regarding this unjust situation? Thank you, Ashley.

I had previously reserved a room at Motel 6 located at [redacted] Katella Ave., Stanton, CA [redacted] for a week and extended my reservation for another week. Upon trying to pay for the extra week, an employee named Edith Dios prevented the front office employee, Marlyn, from extending my reservation, claiming my room had a pet odor. Despite my efforts to speak with a supervisor or have the room inspected, Marlyn was unhelpful and refused to allow me to stay, alleging that the room was damaged. I am disappointed in the customer service I received and feel that the staff at the motel, with only four employees, was lazy and unaccommodating. I believe I was treated unfairly based solely on Edith Dios's unsupported claims. I kindly request further investigation into this matter. If you need further details, please reach out to me at [redacted]. Thank you. - F. Hernandez

I stayed at Motel 6 Everett North on January 18, [redacted] and January 19, [redacted] in Room [redacted]. Unfortunately, my wallet fell out of my purse under the bed. Despite housekeeping informing me to get it from the office, when I retrieved my wallet, my expired Washington driver's licenses and Social Security Card were missing. The clerk did not mention they were sent to my old address. The general manager rudely claimed they were found outside, which I know is untrue. I received a call about suspicious activity regarding my Social Security number. I demand to speak with the CEO of Motel 6 promptly. I felt mistreated and will proceed legally if my concerns are disregarded. I trust Motel 6 will handle this matter discreetly. I hope for a swift resolution. Thank you.
Best,

I am currently staying in a non-smoking room, as requested. Though I smoke outside, including in my car, today I was approached by the owner or manager on the 3rd floor to check my room for smoke because he saw me smoking outside on the bottom floor. I just returned from a trip to the store. When I put up a "no service needed" note on my door, he removed it. Throughout our travels, my husband and I are accustomed to using "do not disturb" signs, which were not respected here. The initial room we were given was dirty and had a broken piece of vanity. After being offered a different room nearby that smelled strongly of musty mold, we stayed in the original room, fixing the vanity with duct tape. I cleaned the room extensively myself due to its condition. Considering our potentially long stay of 5 weeks, I am now exploring other accommodation due to this experience. The handling of the situation, including a request to enter my room without proper identification, has led me to reconsider staying here.

I had a reservation at Lake Oswego Tigard South, authorized by a pastor, but upon arrival, the payment card was declined. Despite efforts to resolve the issue, the hotel claims there is no record of the reservation or payment attempt. I have been left outside in freezing conditions with my service dogs, unable to check-in. This situation is unacceptable, especially considering my loyalty to Motel 6 for many years. It is essential to investigate this matter promptly to rectify the situation. The lack of assistance and clarity from the staff is distressing, and I request immediate resolution or further action may be necessary. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I am currently staying at your property on Westpatrick Street in Frederick, MD. I am concerned about the extra charge for a malfunctioning fridge. I am unable to afford this charge since the fridge doesn't work properly, causing my dairy products to spoil. Despite informing the housekeeping and front desk during my three-week stay, no action has been taken. Therefore, I am reaching out to corporate in hopes of a refund or discount in order to continue staying at this convenient location near my workplace. Thank you for addressing this matter. -Gerald T.

Hello, my name is Amber K. I recently stayed in a Motel 6 in Mansfield, Ohio. Our state experienced very strong winds on Sunday, February 24 and 25, leaving over 51,[redacted] people without electricity, including my family. I booked 2 rooms for 2 days due to Ohio Edison not being able to fix the issues until February 27. Since it was too cold to stay in our house with small children, we had no choice but to stay at the motel. The reception at the front desk was unpleasant, making me feel unwelcome. I was promised a microwave and a fridge that were not provided, and when I inquired, the staff member was unhelpful, stating it wasn't his problem. I paid $[redacted].98 and $[redacted].28 for the two rooms and would like to discuss my stay with someone because I felt belittled during this difficult time. I can provide emails and receipts to validate our circumstances. Please contact me [redacted]. Thank you.

I have been staying at Motel 6 for a month and need to continue until I find housing. Being 73 years old with Stage 3 Colon Cancer and various other medical issues, it's challenging. Tomorrow, my pension check arrives, and I have reserved another week. Unfortunately, a storm is coming, and we're told to vacate. My son, dog, and I have a lot to pack into our small car. I don't understand why I can't keep my belongings in the room. It's distressing to think about sleeping in the car with health concerns during a storm. I hope the hotel can charge my card with permission once my pension arrives. Sleeping in a car without access to a bathroom is not ideal. Your prompt assistance is appreciated as the checkout time is 11:00 am EST.

I had a terrible experience at a Motel 6 in Phoenix, AZ. The hotel had stained sheets and a strong smoke odor. There were disturbances throughout the night with questionable guests causing trouble. The staff, particularly the night shift worker, was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I needed assistance due to feeling unwell, I was met with impoliteness and a lack of empathy. I felt disrespected and unwelcome. I have never encountered such poor customer service. I am deeply disappointed with my stay and would like to request a refund. I will not be returning to any Motel 6 in the future.

My husband and I are staying in room [redacted] at your hotel in La Palma, California until Friday. We checked in last week and immediately experienced issues with the light over the bed flickering. The sink didn't drain properly the next morning, and we noticed the bathtub has no handrail and gray marks at the bottom. There is built-up soap scum that can be easily scratched off in the tub. We reported the light and sink problems to the front office but didn't see improvements. Today, after housekeeping, we still had no hand towels or washcloths, the sink was dirty, and the light bulb wasn't changed. We won't be staying at another Motel 6 after this experience.
