The manager at Motel 6 Lewisville is currently threatening me with eviction simply for requesting a washcloth. A recent encounter turned hostile when I asked for this basic amenity, and now I'm being told to leave. Another staff member revealed the manager's behavior caused her to quit on the spot due to rudeness and threats. This unsettling experience has left me feeling uneasy about staying here. Despite already paying, the manager refuses to provide a refund to relocate elsewhere. The overall atmosphere is unprofessional and unwelcoming. At Lakepointe in Lewisville, the service has been appalling, marked by confrontations over simple requests like a washcloth and feedback on room cleaning. This situation is unacceptable, and I'm unsure of how to proceed given the circumstances.

I made an online hotel room reservation. Upon arrival, we skipped checking the room due to our fishing plans. When we returned later, we faced several issues: the key card machine was broken, the elevator dropped abruptly, and the room lacked a TV. Additionally, the smoke alarm and phone jack were hanging from the wall. The shower knob fell off when my fiance tried to use it, making it the worst hotel experience I've had. During checkout, the receipt showed the wrong card used for payment, listing a Mastercard instead of my Visa, and the total amount was incorrect. I paid slightly more than what was stated. I am hoping for a refund or a complimentary night stay to compensate for the troubles. I have pictures of the room for evidence if needed.

I stayed at one of your motels last night. It was the very last room available. The sheets were soiled, and the comforter had a cigarette burn hole in it, despite being in a non-smoking room. I was traveling with a toddler, and we couldn't sleep due to the noise. The guests above us were partying and moving furniture, while the ones across from us were also loud. The front desk agent closed the noise down at 4am. It was nonstop noise since we arrived. I expressed my concerns to the front desk staff upon checkout. They were courteous and professional, but I remain dissatisfied with the experience. My hope for a peaceful getaway was not met.

I am disappointed by the lack of customer service at Motel 6. The room was dirty with urine on the toilet, hair in the shower, and a strong smell of marijuana. They couldn't find my reservation and inconvenienced me. After cleaning, my room was left open by staff in my absence. The property had safety concerns and was poorly maintained. The lights in the bathroom turned off randomly. I was treated unequally in front of other guests and harassed by cleaning staff. I seek compensation and hope for swift improvements to address these issues and ensure a safe and healthy environment.

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the Motel 6 in Barboursville, West Virginia. It was the worst hotel experience of my life. Firstly, the bedsheets were dirty. The toilet didn't flush, and despite my requests, they didn't fix it or offer me another room. The microwave even started smoking and was not replaced. The room had no heater in 37-degree weather. Despite my repeated requests for a new room, the staff were rude. I am not seeking compensation, just expressing my disappointment with the unacceptable treatment. I ended up checking out in the evening instead of waiting until 11 a.m. the next day.

I reserved a room at Motel 6 for $88, but upon check-in, I was told by Rachel at the Warminster location that the room cost $76.36. I paid in cash, but despite being assured my card wouldn't be charged, I was charged both $88 and $76.36. The staff refused to refund me and claimed they couldn't help. As a single mother with a one-year-old, spending over $[redacted] for a room that was supposed to be $76 is unacceptable. I contacted James, the property manager, who hasn't responded, and Jamie, another receptionist, refused to assist me or have James return my calls. I previously stayed at the same motel for six nights for $[redacted]. I am shocked and upset by the treatment and the excessive charges.

I stayed at hotel number [redacted] in Ruidoso last night and reserved a room around 9 p.m. After returning to the room at 3 a.m., we found the TV not working and the phone damaged, hidden under the countertop with wires cut. Despite informing the front desk staff, we were rudely given another remote that also did not work. The manager attempted to resolve the issue but was unsuccessful, stating we couldn't switch rooms. Additionally, the deadbolt on the door was broken, making us feel unsafe. We left close to 4 a.m. after being denied a refund and facing disrespect. We drove back to Roswell and stayed at Motel 6 without any problems. The staff there was kind and attentive. I am requesting a refund for at least one of the rooms at hotel [redacted] due to the unprofessionalism and poor room quality we experienced. Thank you.

Upon check-in at the Motel 6 in Vero Beach, I encountered cleanliness issues with the first two rooms I was shown. The initial room smelled strongly of bleach, prompting a request for a new room. The second room appeared clean at first, but upon closer inspection, I found body hair and dirt in the bed, along with a pillow also covered in body hair. After reporting this to the desk clerk, I agreed to stay only if the sheets and pillowcase were changed, which they were. However, I discovered used soap in the vanity area and a dirty towel behind the door. Despite being tired, the overall cleanliness concerns at the motel were disappointing. My experience at Motel 6, Vero Beach made me hesitant to book with them in the future.

I am currently staying at Motel 6 on [redacted] W29th Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here, having only been here since 1 pm. There have been continuous disturbances such as yelling, slamming doors, and people wandering around the parking lot throughout the entire day, even at 11 pm. I have had multiple individuals knock on my door mistakenly looking for someone else, and two individuals even tried to solicit drugs from me. Feeling unsafe, I avoided opening the door, especially being a petite female. Despite several attempts, I have not been able to reach the front desk as no one has answered my calls all day. I even went down to the front desk during the day, rang the bell, and still couldn't get any assistance. I am shocked by the poor conditions of the room, with holes in the walls and ceilings, numerous stains on the walls, furniture, and floors, and bathroom plumbing barely attached to the wall. Motel 6 needs to address these issues promptly as I never intend to stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at the Motel 6 in Redding, CA on Twin View last night. As a regular guest, I have always had pleasant experiences. However, last night was disappointing. Upon entering the room, I noticed water damage and black mold on the wall, which as a seasoned painter, I could easily identify. Further inspection revealed a poorly maintained room with dust, cigarette butts, and soap scum making it unclean and slippery. Room [redacted] was in dire need of attention. I usually handle my own room cleanliness and garbage, but this was unacceptable. Considering my multiple-night stay and the circumstances with my mom in the hospital, it would be appreciated if the remaining nights could be compensated. Thank you for addressing this. -James O.

I rarely complain, but I need to address my recent stay at Motel 6 in Redding, CA on March 12, [redacted]. I came from Medford, OR due to a family emergency involving my ill mother who passed away before my arrival. Exhausted and stressed, I noticed mold in the shower covered with peeling paint the next morning. I am a painter and recognized it as black mold. Additionally, I found pubic hairs in the shower, dog hair all over, and a used band-aid on the bed. I am not seeking a refund but kindly request two nights free to focus on more important matters. As a loyal Motel 6 customer, I hope this can be accommodated. Thank you for understanding my situation during this difficult time.

I stayed at the * Motel in Redding, CA on Twin View last night. Despite being a regular guest, I was disappointed this time. Upon entering my room late last night, I noticed water damage and black mold on the wall while taking a shower, which is concerning as I have experience as a painter. Further inspection revealed the room was dirty, with a dusty fan, cigarette butt on the floor, and slippery soap scum in the shower. Room *** was not up to the usual standard I expect, especially since I have to stay for additional nights due to my mother's hospitalization. I didn't address this immediately as I was tired and at the hospital all day. Please consider compensating me for the inconvenience. Thank you, J. Onstott.

I recently checked into Motel 6 at [redacted] Ostrems Way in San Bernardino as a walk-in guest. Although the service was friendly and quick, I encountered cleanliness issues in the room. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarette smoke with burnt holes in the blankets. The linens were dirty and stained, and the restroom had red stains on the shower floor. When I inquired about a refund or relocating to another Motel 6, no options were available except for moving to a different room, which was not much better. The second room was also dirty with a malfunctioning AC. Disappointed with the conditions, I ultimately decided to check out. I would be happy to provide photos as evidence of my experience.

Dear Ms. Noel, I had a troubling experience during my stay at your hotel last night. Upon arrival, I presented my online reservation to the clerk, but was informed that it wasn't accessible in their system, resulting in them denying my reservation. Following a discussion about the lack of electricity in the room designated for me because of this issue, I requested a refund to seek alternate accommodation. Unfortunately, the clerk mentioned that refunds for prepayments made through Expedia were not possible, leaving me stranded without the means to book another room elsewhere. What frustrated me further was observing two customers behind me successfully receiving refunds for their rooms, highlighting the inconsistency in handling the situation. Despite the explanation that a portion of the hotel was experiencing electrical issues due to a storm, it seemed suspicious that neighboring rooms and facilities had power restored while mine did not. This discrepancy made me question whether the hotel's management was selectively offering refunds and amenities. As a customer who utilized Expedia for booking and contributed to the hotel's revenue, I expected fair treatment, which my experience failed to deliver. The lack of transparency in refund policies and room allocation, coupled with the unsatisfactory customer service, has deterred me from considering Motel 6 for future stays. Regards, Sincerely Displeased

I had a strange and upsetting experience at Motel 6 in Manteca. Recently, I rented a room for nine days through my pastor. I had stayed there for three days a couple of weeks ago and rebooked for the morning of the day before yesterday. While cleaning the room this morning, the manager came and asked me to leave the property without giving a clear reason. He even called the police on me. It's confusing because I never had any issues before. I am considering filing a complaint and requesting a refund for all my money as I am homeless and now not allowed on the property.

My friend and I booked a contractor's stay at Motel 6 for work on our homes. We had separate reservations, with my friend staying until March 11 and mine from March 11-13 booked through Expedia. The hotel extended my friend's stay without permission, causing an issue with the payment. The lack of customer service skills from the staff is concerning due to poor leadership. I am requesting a refund for my friend's stay from March 11-13 and the proper charge to Expedia for my reservation as we haven't been able to resolve this with the staff at Motel 6.

After a long drive from Minnesota, I checked in yesterday afternoon. Although I was initially overcharged for my room, it was rectified promptly. However, upon entering my room, I discovered a stained and cigarette-burned bedspread, which was also promptly replaced. The real issue began in the evening and early morning hours when there were disruptive children running and screaming in the halls, making it challenging to rest. The situation escalated with noisy arguments and fighting among other guests, culminating in chaos until almost 5 am. Despite requesting a room away from the parking lot to avoid noise, I was disturbed by the loud disruptions nearby. The ordeal was so disruptive that another guest even attempted to intervene. It was surprising that management did not address the situation, as the disruptive guests were a nuisance to the entire 3rd floor.

I encountered a major problem at Motel 6 in Melrose Park involving the manager Sid. On 3/17, I paid for a room. However, Sid, the manager, came to my room while I was with my two kids and demanded payment. I was confused and explained that I had already paid earlier that day. He claimed that payment was for the day before, which led to a confrontation. Sid's behavior felt like harassment, as he threatened that we would have to leave immediately if there was no additional payment. I offered to show him my Chase transactions to prove I had paid. I was promised a compensation if he was wrong, but I have yet to receive it. Sid was rude and failed to verify the facts properly, making the situation disruptive and nonsensical for me and my family.

While traveling through Maryland, my vehicle unexpectedly caught fire, leaving me in need of a place to stay overnight until my insurance provider, Geico, could arrange a rental car for me. Unfortunately, my experience at a certain hotel was far from satisfactory. The hotel clerk, Tysha, was rude and provided me with a subpar room. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a different room, she refused and unprofessionally refunded my money on the counter. To my dismay, she even seemed to incite individuals in the lobby to harm me, causing me to fear for my safety. Without hesitation, I retrieved my refund and swiftly sought refuge at a nearby Days Inn, just a mile away. The difference was evident - the new hotel was not only safer and cleaner but also staffed with polite employees. Despite the slightly higher cost, the peace of mind was invaluable. This unsettling encounter has prompted me to share my experience with various authorities and platforms, including media outlets, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), law enforcement agencies, Prince George's County Tourism, and multiple review websites. I am compelled to inform the leadership of the hotel chain, from the CEO to upper management, about the distressing situation I endured. It is disheartening to realize that a well-known and supposedly affordable hotel chain could subject its guests to such fear and humiliation. I have received assistance from Maryland State Police, Geico, the taxi company, the Toyota dealership, and even a nearby convenience store, but the behavior exhibited at Motel 6 was unacceptable. The taxi driver even enlightened me about the unsavory reputation of the location I initially stayed at, describing it as an infamous hub for illicit activities. I strongly believe that the actions of Tysha and her associates at the front desk were not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous. It is crucial that measures are taken to prevent such incidents from recurring, and I am prepared to explore legal options if necessary.

I was assured a phone call from a manager in Customer Care named Jackie. She reached out to me on Monday, March 11th, mentioning the need to consult someone else and promised to follow up within 48 hours. However, it has been 10 days since then, and I have not received any further communication from her. As a victim of a violent crime protected by the address confidentiality program of the Oregon attorney general's office, I've encountered issues with my mail being returned with "not at this address" markings despite living at this location for 5 months. The local post office has been informed, and actions are being taken to address this issue. I receive minimal mail, and the only sender who has this specific address is the Department of Justice. It is crucial that my mail is not obstructed, as it is a federal offense to do so. I am seeking resolution with the motel as it seems my mail may have been mishandled or discarded. I expect fair treatment and accurate handling of my mail, as dishonesty is unacceptable. I aim to resolve this matter with the motel promptly.
