I recently informed the front desk that their color-safe bleach damaged my family's clothes, and the response was dismissive. Despite my absence in the room, I'm now constantly told there's excessive noise coming from it. The staff's behavior has been unprofessional and impolite, with a lack of cleanliness in the room and disrespectful attitudes. Surrounding rooms are noisier, and the staff is loud and unprofessional. I encountered an incident where my dog was falsely accused of being aggressive while he was peacefully by my side. The rooms and staff's attitude are disappointing. The ruined clothes were not addressed with a warning sign on the soap dispenser for other guests' awareness.

I made reservations on Friday. When I arrived around 3 PM on Saturday to check into my room, I was informed that it wasn't ready. I expected my room to be prepared as I had made reservations and had driven for 3 hours to reach the motel. Returning later at 5 PM, my room was still not ready. By 8 PM when I finally gained access to my room, there were no small washcloths or large towels available. I contacted the front desk, but was told there were no more towels and to call back in the morning. Clean towels should have been provided considering the price I paid. Although room service took my used towels, they did not leave replacements, leading to frustration. I had to repeatedly ask for towels, which took too long to be delivered, prompting me to get them myself. The malfunctioning elevators also posed an inconvenience. I am requesting a refund due to the subpar treatment and service I received as a guest.

During my recent stay at the Motel 6 in Cedar Rapids, IA on 33rd Avenue near McDonald's, I encountered unsatisfactory customer service. I noticed poor maid service, with my room left uncleaned one afternoon, and a disruptive visit from a maid while I was resting. Additionally, I was disheartened to find a cockroach in the room, which is unacceptable for a lodging establishment. These experiences have left me disappointed, and I believe a full refund is warranted. The receptionist's dismissive attitude towards my concerns only added to my dissatisfaction. - B. Woodford

Greetings. My family and I are currently residing at Motel 6 in King of Prussia, PA due to our house being flooded on August 13, [redacted]. We were forced to evacuate our residence the next day and are now homeless until the flood damage is fixed. Unfortunately, we were informed that we must vacate the motel for 72 hours after 28 days, which poses a challenge for us as both my wife and I are disabled and do not have transportation. We have stayed at this Motel 6 before about 3 to 3 1/2 years ago for a similar reason. This time, we anticipate not needing as much time, but we are unable to return home until the repairs are completed. Is there any possibility of extending our stay given our circumstances? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Gary B.

As a frequent traveler who often chooses Motel 6 for budget reasons, I believe it's essential to have basic standards of safety and cleanliness. During my recent stays, I noticed that the individual air conditioner units were quite dirty behind the cover panels. This included dust, dirt, hair, bugs, mold, and even cigarette butts. I raised this issue with the staff at all three locations, but unfortunately, they seemed indifferent and provided no solutions. I even left my contact information for the manager to reach out to me, but I have not heard back. Having owned motels myself, I understand the importance of customer satisfaction and the reasonable expectation for clean and well-maintained facilities. It's disappointing when these standards are not met. -R.G.

I recently stayed at the Motel 6 on University Ave. in Riverside, CA on September 7, [redacted]. It was disappointing to be awakened at 7 am by workers chatting loudly in the parking lot outside my room after paying $80.00. The noise and fumes, especially considering my existing breathing issues, prevented me from getting adequate rest. Given that check out is at 11 am, I did not anticipate having to wake up at 7 am unexpectedly.

Hello, my name is Jt Sherwood. My wife, Sheila Rogers, made a reservation at Motel 6 in Phoenix Scottsdale West (location #[redacted]) from September 7th, [redacted], until the 9th. Our confirmation numbers are 8775M13995 and 8775M14009. When we checked in, one of our rooms did not have any towels. After a delay, we finally received them at midnight. The air conditioning unit in our room was also very dirty, causing issues for my wife's severe asthma. Despite attempts to clean the filters ourselves, the unit still didn't work well. We even had to seek medical help for my wife due to breathing difficulties. I believe we should be reimbursed for the stay on Saturday as we were unable to enjoy it properly. We enjoy staying at Motel 6 but hope this issue can be addressed for future guests. Thank you.

Serious Concerns Regarding Motel 6 Extended Stay located at Phillips Highway and Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville, Florida. I and others have been working temporary assignments at this establishment since late July. Upon initial inspection, the premises seem to be below health and safety standards. The management's cleaning methods include sweeping with dirty brooms instead of providing vacuum cleaners. Overflowing trash cans and dumpsters have led to attracting rats and other pests. Reports of bedbugs and roaches infesting the rooms. Certain rooms have severely dirty carpets, leading to the closure of one room over Labor Day weekend due to extreme mess. There has been evidence of illegal drug use, potential drug sales, excessive drinking, and other criminal activities among the tenants and guests. Incidents of harassment and threatening behavior towards temp workers have been reported, as well as a coworker openly using illegal drugs and engaging in unauthorized catering services. This complaint will be submitted to the FLORIDA DEPARTMENT of BUSINESS and PUBLIC REGULATION for further investigation. Any legal actions will be directed towards the individuals involved, not the motel chain. For further information or to discuss these issues, please reach out. Thank you, Bill Stoller and concerned parties

During my recent stay at Motel 6 in Slidell, Louisiana, on Taha Street, the room I booked included a refrigerator for which I paid extra. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was not working. I informed the staff, and upon checking out, they mentioned a refund of $5 for the non-functioning appliance. Now, when attempting to book another night, I am being informed that I am blocked due to this refund issue. This situation is frustrating as they are implying the refrigerator was operational when it indeed was not. As a frequent guest of Motel 6, I am disappointed by this experience. My name is Janice B. and you may reach me at [redacted]. I am eager for a prompt resolution and accountability for this matter. Thank you.

I would like to file a complaint regarding an employee manager named Valerie at the Cocoa Beach location off of A1A. I have spent over $[redacted] there in the last week, but due to her behavior, I will not choose Motel 6 again. Valerie is very rude and misleading, answering the phone as a regular employee and denying being the manager, which is unprofessional for someone in her position. She also falsely claims they are not hiring when they are. I am a resident in Cocoa Beach and feel this issue needs to be addressed by corporate as it is not the first time she has displayed such behavior. I wanted to confront her in person but opted to reach out to corporate instead. Valerie needs to be held accountable for her actions.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Westboro, Massachusetts on September 3rd. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The door handles leading to our room were filthy, and the floors desperately needed a thorough vacuuming. The bed and blankets in our room had burn holes, and to top it off, there were human hairs all over the sheets. Despite complaining, we were only given fresh sheets and told to make the bed ourselves. The cleanliness of the room was so poor that I had to scrub my feet after walking barefoot on the floor. The shower was also dirty, suggesting a lack of proper cleaning between guests. Upon checking out and expressing my dissatisfaction, I was only offered a refund of $12.70, which felt like a mere token gesture. I have no intention of ever staying at this motel again, and I will be sure to inform my friends and family about the substandard conditions we encountered.

My wife applied for a front desk position at Motel 6 in Sandston, VA. During the ownership transition, she received a callback but faced challenges reaching the manager. Despite several tries, she was repeatedly told the manager was unavailable or put on extended hold. After leaving messages, she eventually spoke with the manager and was asked to check her schedule for availability, with a promise of a callback. It has been a week without any response. We even checked out to be available for an interview, as we heard they don't hire current guests, putting us in a tough spot as we're currently homeless and rely on their affordable rates. We believe my wife deserved a fair chance to interview for the position.

My fiancé works night shifts in Dickinson, ND. We usually stay at My Place, but this time he chose Motel 6 for its lower price. Unfortunately, this morning a maintenance worker attempted to enter his room even though it was securely dead-bolted. When my fiancé returned at 7:30 a.m., the worker managed to undo the deadbolt by loosening the screws. Then, at 9 a.m., the front desk attendant came by to mention work needed to be done on the tub. Frustrated with the continuous interruptions, he plans to check out if this occurs again tomorrow and return to My Place. Just a heads up, he's in Dickinson every Monday through Thursday.

I've been suspended for supposedly not registering as a guest while tending to Cheryl D. I believe Crystal is unfairly singling me out due to personal reasons. Despite pitching in with tasks like emptying the trash, I was never there for more than a few hours. I'd like to clear my name since I did nothing wrong. I did my best to clean up the room during the limited time I had. Thank you for looking into this. If payment is warranted, I'm willing to pay to regain a good standing reputation with your company.

During my sister's two-month stay at Motel 6 on North State St in Ukiah while relocating, the room she was provided had issues with cockroaches and bedbugs. Despite the manager's attempts to address the infestation, it persisted, with my sister even encountering a cockroach on her face while sleeping. The living conditions were subpar, with torn curtains, a malfunctioning microwave that was not replaced, and a general lack of cleanliness. The presence of individuals causing disturbances during the night and police activity in the vicinity further added to the negative experience. The owner showed little concern for the conditions despite being informed and offered no adjustment in the monthly rate. The property's maintenance, including a dirty pool, unkempt grounds, and people sleeping near the dumpster, reflected poorly on the establishment. I have shared my concerns with relevant authorities, as unsuspecting families visiting the motel may encounter similar issues. The experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I implore the management to address these issues without delay to ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests.

Last week, I filed three complaints with the management regarding missing items from my room. Despite bringing this to the cleaning staff's attention, no action was taken. When I finally confronted the situation, the cleaning lady reacted in an unprofessional manner. I escalated my concerns to corporate, but the issues persisted. After being taken to the hospital, I contacted the hotel on September 10th only to experience further confrontation from the manager, Amanda. My church group, TBM (Texas Baptist Men), tried to pay for my accommodation, but we were informed by the manager that I could no longer stay due to alleged disruptive behavior. I felt embarrassed and hurt by the situation, especially since I have been a regular guest. Despite attempts to contact the owner via provided contact information, my calls and emails were unsuccessful. I believe my concerns are being dismissed, and I refuse to let this go as the missing items, including my car keys, car title, and gold necklace, hold significant value.

We are currently lodging at the Motel 6 in Harbor City, California. We decided to extend our stay for an additional night, but the front desk attendant informed us that we were not welcome to stay any longer. When we inquired about the reason, she mentioned it was related to an issue with sheets and towels. After speaking with the manager, my daughter was told that leaving towels on the air-conditioner outside our room was considered disrespectful. However, other guests also apparently leave towels in a similar manner according to the housekeeping staff. I was not instructed upon check-in about where to leave towels, resulting in this misunderstanding. Due to this, we are now unable to secure accommodation elsewhere until later in the day, and I am concerned about my cats being left in a hot car. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I stayed at Motel 6 on Bell Road and I-17 in Phoenix, Arizona last night. When I woke up this morning, I found my dog spinning in circles. I spoke to the manager, who suggested my dog might be affected by something, though I couldn't find anything in the room. Then, housekeeping came in and insisted I leave, even laughing at my distressed dog. I'm unable to leave immediately as my dog needs attention. The situation escalated, and now I'm being kicked out. It's a challenging situation with no resolution in sight, especially since the manager's advice conflicted with housekeeping's actions.

I highly recommend Motel 6 in Tucson, Arizona, located at [redacted] E Benson Highway, Tucson, Arizona [redacted], especially for parents with children aged 9 to 17. The motel is conveniently located near the airport and right off the interstate and Benson Highway, making it easily accessible. The room was clean, affordable, and the air conditioner worked well. The staff were friendly and deserve five stars for their service. However, the ice machines were not functioning, and the parking lot and courtyard grounds were poorly maintained. Some areas of the building were closed off and looked neglected. Despite the convenient location, there were unsettling individuals present around the property at all hours, which may serve as a cautionary lesson for families. Although there were some issues, with improvements, this place has the potential to be excellent. Grady D. from Belton, Texas.

On my birthday, 9/13, my stay at Motel 6 in zone A, Hampton due to hurricane Florence evacuation was disappointing. The AC leaked, the phone didn't work to contact the front desk, and the TV channels were unreliable. Despite trying to use the free WiFi, it wouldn't connect. The next day, a staff member attempted to fix the signal issue but mentioned it was due to an underground problem. Sadly, there were no other rooms available, making my entire experience very unpleasant.
