I am trying to contact the seller to request a refund for an iPhone 8 Plus I purchased. Despite the transaction being completed and rated, the seller acknowledged a problem and offered to take the item back. However, I have been unable to establish contact with him. I recently received two beautiful Anthropologie floral vases, but unfortunately, both of them arrived shattered. The vases were poorly packaged with very little wrapping and they were placed in a box with too much empty space. It's no surprise they arrived damaged. I have already reached out to the seller about this issue, but I have not received a response yet. I have refrained from leaving a rating for the seller until this is resolved. I recently bought an American Girl doll listed as a 1st edition from Pleasant Company, but upon arrival, I discovered the box had been opened and resealed and the doll was actually stamped as an American Girl doll. The description did not match the product received, and the seller is refusing a return, suggesting I rate them and resell the item instead. I am disappointed as the doll's actual value is less without the promised stamp, and I feel misled about the purchase.

I recently had a situation where a buyer contacted me requesting a price reduction on a Photo Frame, which I accepted. After the purchase, I promptly received a confirmation from Mercari and generated a mailing label. I shipped the item the following day, about 5 hours after the sale was made.
However, the buyer now claims she did not authorize the purchase as the frame size doesn't suit her needs. I am puzzled as to how the sale went through if she did not intend to purchase it, especially considering I could print the shipping label. It seems like a case of buyer's remorse from the customer's side.

I accidentally ordered an empty box instead of the product I wanted. Despite trying to cancel and receiving a message confirming cancellation, the order was still shipped to me. I have contacted the seller multiple times but only received generic emails. Today, I received the package containing only the empty box. I find it unreasonable to pay $19 for an empty box. I recently joined Mercari and attempted to make a purchase through the app. However, I encountered an issue with entering my address. I followed the instructions to email and submit a screenshot, but despite receiving an email stating the matter was resolved, it was not. I resorted to using my computer to make the purchase, only to find out that my account has been suspended. I have tried contacting Mercari four times with no success - the lack of response is frustrating. The phone number provided only leads to a recording prompting me to leave a message, without any indication of speaking to a representative. I have also sent emails with no progress. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak to a customer service representative as my preferred method of contact.

I bought a cup from Yes Outlet through Mercari at the stated price. The cup arrived on June 9th, even though I ordered it on the 30th and it was supposed to be shipped on the 1st. The shipping details were incorrect. I rated the seller 4 stars due to poor packaging, undisclosed scratches on the cup, and the long delivery time. In response, the seller was rude, saying, "screw you Lauren," for leaving a 4-star review after taking a loss on the transaction. I find the seller's disrespect unacceptable, especially since I paid the full price listed. I no longer want the cup and feel future buyers should be aware of the seller's unprofessional behavior. I am seeking a refund from this disrespectful seller.

While I responded to these messages, you have suspended my account for investigation.
There are several fraudulent activities occurring on the site which affect my business operations. When facing issues with user behavior, I value direct communication with a customer service representative. Despite attempts to reach out via the provided [redacted] number, I have not received any response. Email correspondence has also been ineffective in resolving previous concerns. I urge Mercari to take responsibility for permitting such behavior to persist on the platform. My request is simple: I want to connect with a Mercari representative promptly. I expect resolution today.

I completed the transaction for an iPhone 7 Plus Black [redacted] GB on 06/02/20. The item was listed in "like new" condition with tracking number 1Z6A[redacted][redacted].
It has been a frustrating experience dealing with the seller as the phone received was not as described. Despite informing them on the first day that I would not be rating them to avoid releasing the funds, the seller seems uncooperative. After multiple attempts to communicate with Mercari about returning the item, they unexpectedly marked the transaction as completed and released the funds to the seller. The phone is on its way back, following the 3-day return policy, but the seller has blocked me and is not responding to any messages. I have reached out through various channels to update them on the return status, including the mistaken notification from Mercari regarding the completion of the sale.

I purchased an item on May 27 with a promised 3-day shipping, but it only got shipped on June 11, and due to our absence, we received it a few days later on June 14. Unfortunately, upon testing it, we found out the dispenser is broken, rendering the item useless. When I tried to file a claim on June 15, I discovered Mercari had closed the transaction the day before. I purchased perfume from Mercari and upon receiving it, discovered a family emergency that required me to leave for a few days. I attempted to start a return while away but couldn't complete it without having the item to provide the required photos and reason for return. I shipped out 2 pairs of sunglasses to a buyer and the package got lost in transit. The order was canceled without any prior communication with me. I have provided the tracking number and receipt to the team. I believe there should be some guarantee when using the provided shipping label. Although there is $[redacted] insurance, it doesn't cover the full cost. I feel like the handling of this situation wasn't satisfactory and I am looking to be compensated for my losses.
