I purchased a pair of Dansko clogs, and upon arrival, they appeared perfect and just as I expected. After trying them on for comfort, I rated the seller and continued with my day. To my disappointment, wearing them for less than 10 minutes caused the soles to start deteriorating. A bit of research revealed that newer Dansko clogs with different sole material can easily break, particularly if improperly stored. Upon inspecting with a "twist and fold" check, I found multiple cracks indicating early deterioration. Despite already rating the seller, I am seeking a full refund for the clogs that are falling apart prematurely.

I recently purchased an iPhone for $[redacted] on 06/26/[redacted] from a seller named "pau4200". The phone was described as being in great condition, but upon receipt, it was not functional despite attempts to charge it. I submitted pictures for a refund, but I have not received the return label and now I am being told my order is completed due to a delay in returning the item. I am very frustrated about the situation as I just want a refund for the phone that does not meet the described condition. I feel like I am being scammed and I am afraid of losing my $[redacted]. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter and getting my money back. Additionally, I believe the seller should be banned from Mercari to prevent this from happening to other customers.

As a seller, I am facing an issue with a return on Mercari. The buyer returned my item claiming it was not authentic, but they sent it back in a destroyed condition. When I requested reimbursement through Mercari's sellers protection, they denied my claim citing lack of authentication. I find this troubling as they never asked for any authentication paperwork initially. My attorney advised me that the protection clause does not require authentication papers, only that the item is returned in the same condition it was sent. I even have the authentication paperwork available, but Mercari did not request it. I am seeking a peaceful resolution and wish to avoid legal action. Despite being an experienced seller on Mercari with a 5-star rating and over [redacted] successful sales, I am disappointed by this situation. Can anyone assist me in resolving this matter amicably?

I was thrilled to receive my 512GB Samsung SD card from the seller "Bean." I initially rated it 5 stars as it appeared perfect and my phone recognized it. However, when attempting to transfer my music and games, I encountered issues with importing them. Despite having ample space, they wouldn't transfer. I used an application called h2testw to check the actual storage capacity, revealing that the card was counterfeit, falsely labeled as 512GB when it's less than 128GB. I purchased the SD card from "Bean" who has not responded to my concern. I seek a refund and am willing to return the product.

I bought a pair of Lululemon "Women's Pants" in size 12/14 Tall but received what seems to be a size 2/4. There was no tag on the pants to indicate the actual size. Comparing them to a size 10 of the same brand from another seller, the size 10 pants are noticeably larger. Despite displaying these differences with multiple photos, my return request was rejected by Mercari. The pants I received appear to be for children, not women as described. I am seeking a refund due to the lack of a size tag and the inaccurate product description provided by the seller.

I bought a Magnavox VHS/DVD player yesterday. I need to confirm if it includes the remote and cables. If not, I would like to cancel the order. Unfortunately, the phone numbers listed online were not helpful, and one even tried to sell me a different product. Very disappointing service! I noticed the timeline mentions I spoke with a representative from Mercari on 7/25/19, but I have never been able to contact anyone via email or phone from Mercari.

I recently purchased a GE 50-pint dehumidifier listed as new on your website. Upon opening the box, I noticed it appeared to have been re-boxed. I am concerned it may not be brand new. I have been in contact with Mercari multiple times over the past three days - Friday, Monday, and today. I bought an item on 7/22/19, and the seller claimed to have shipped it. However, the tracking shows it was delivered the same day to WA, when I am in NY. After filing a claim, I was told by Mercari to wait until Monday for delivery but contact them again if it didn't arrive. I reached out yesterday, and they are directing me to deal with FedEx for a refund. FedEx has no record of receiving the package from the seller's end, as confirmed by the tracking details. Despite this, Mercari insists it's delivered. I am frustrated because Mercari is not verifying with FedEx before concluding. This situation is causing me a lot of stress, and I hope to get this resolved by someone who can grasp the issue.

Why does it take the shipper less time to deliver than for you to refund my money for an item that was sold and then canceled on your site? I received all my orders from July 29th except for the one that was just canceled today. This is the second time they've claimed to have sent something when they haven't. Why are there sellers like this on your platform? I'm frustrated by the lack of information regarding the cancellation. It feels like a scam. I never agreed to lend money to someone I don't even know for a week. How many others did she deceive? It's unfair. It seems like a way to exploit the system by setting up a seller's account, listing items, canceling them, and keeping the money temporarily. This situation is concerning.

I have an ongoing concern regarding the Mercari receipt for my sold Lucchese boots, which still reflects the original asking price of $95 instead of the actual selling price of $81. The buyer received the boots on 8/3/19, and I don't want them to be overcharged. Despite reaching out multiple times, the responses provided were vague and did not address my specific issue. I am new to Mercari and may not fully understand all their procedures, but a clear response would have been appreciated.

Unfortunately, my concern remains unresolved as the receipt does not match the confirmed selling price of $81. I am disheartened by the lack of a satisfactory answer. However, upon receiving the shoes, I discovered a significant hole in the bottom that was not disclosed by the seller, despite him assuring me that the shoes were "perfect". Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue with an account opened by my son under the username Zack, selling a rug to a user named Carolyn.Donohue. The app requested the rug to be shipped by August 31st, which we did as soon as we returned from being out of town. We spent $12 on packaging for the rug. After shipping it and marking it as shipped on the app, we later found out that the order was cancelled. We are unable to directly contact Carolyn.Donohue who has received the rug but cancelled the order. I am very upset about this situation. I am seeking either a refund for the rug and packaging expenses or for the rug to be returned to me. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I may have to escalate it to the Better Business Bureau. I believe it is unfair for an order to be cancelled after it has been shipped. I contacted Boops Boutique on 07-20-‘19 regarding a [redacted] Fifth Floral Fete China Set (8 pieces) I purchased, which arrived damaged. I attempted to reach out through Mercari but received no response. When trying to access Boops Boutique, an Invalid Address message appeared. This is odd as I have never experienced issues with Etsy or Ebay. Despite numerous attempts, I have not been able to inform Mercari or Boops Boutique about the broken item. I reached out to Mercari 30 minutes ago with the Item #, Price, Date, and requested a Total Refund for Order ID #m[redacted]0 placed around 07-15-[redacted] totaling $37.00 paid via VISA ($24.00 + $13.00 s/h). I also tried using PayPal, but encountered problems on your website. It seems there are still ongoing issues with your online site, preventing me from accessing Order Details at Boops Boutique. I recently received my order of a Baby Bullet, which I paid $28 for on July 29th, with the order number M[redacted]8 from seller A_Gleaso. Unfortunately, the package arrived opened and damaged due to the poor packaging by the seller. The box was flimsy and did not provide adequate protection for the blender inside. Additionally, the promised spatula and cup were missing from the delivery. When I tried to use the blender, it only worked briefly before completely stopping. I had a buyer ask for a picture of the phone I was selling, but couldn't attach it in the chat room. I advised her to text or email me for the photo. I didn't realize this was against the rules, and now our chats have been deleted, costing me the sale. I received a warning and feared being banned, so I deleted all my listings. I'm contacting you as it's my only way to communicate now.

I recently sold four high-end, exclusive brand hoodies to a buyer who negotiated a lower price and requested free shipping. The items were brand new and still in their original packaging. However, the buyer is now returning them, claiming they are not satisfied. I suspect they may have tampered with the items as there was no legitimate reason for the return. The description and size were clearly stated, so the return seems unwarranted and a waste of both my time and resources.
