Hello Mercari, I am currently facing a significant issue. My account has been suspended due to using a different credit card. When my debit card had insufficient funds, I used a friend's card to complete a transaction meant for them. I have three pending orders that total over $[redacted]. I would appreciate it if my account could be reinstated. I can have my friend transfer the owed funds to my debit card to resolve this matter. The email associated with my account is [redacted] Can I simply remove the additional card from my account and transfer the necessary funds back to my own card to resolve this issue? Please reinstate my account promptly, as I have a held item waiting for purchase. Thank you.

Dear Mercari Customer Service, I am Catherine, a college student and avid user of your app. Normally, I have great experiences, but I recently received a pair of Madewell jeans that are defective. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline to verify the shipment due to being out of town. The jeans were described as "like new" but arrived with yellowed stains, faded marks, and a strong odor. They also seem stretched out from repeated wear. I have the same jeans in a different color and size, and they fit perfectly. I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund, but I couldn't find the option, and the payment was already made when I returned home. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. I possess evidence in the form of messages and testimonials from my customers in a private group. Upon confronting her, she changed her username to evade accountability. I have taken screenshots of her initial username on both platforms. I value my hard-earned ratings and kindly ask for guidance on addressing this issue. I believe she should be reported and removed, and the unjust review she left should be retracted. I have documented the fake account, messages, and disruptive behavior on my business page with screenshots as proof. Subsequently, she created a Mercari account under a different name to leave me a negative rating. I bought a baby romper on 4/2 for $22. Unfortunately, the shipping was delayed, and I never received a "shipped" notification. After contacting the seller, I discovered that there was a mix-up with labels, and the other buyer received my romper, while I was supposed to get their baby gown. The seller asked us to cover the shipping costs to exchange the items. Today, I received the romper from the other buyer, but it has a large stain on the leg that wasn't mentioned in the description. I want a refund, but I can't proceed because it doesn't show that my item was shipped. This situation is confusing, and I feel uncertain about how to resolve it as the seller's actions seem suspicious. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was mistakenly charged six times for over $[redacted] worth of items that I did not order. There is no record of these purchases in my buying history. Despite multiple attempts to contact them via email and phone, I have not received any assistance. I am demanding an immediate refund and want to close my account. The lack of responsiveness is unprofessional and insecure. I will be taking this matter to my bank as I suspect a mistake either from the company or their sellers. This situation nearly caused me to overdraw my account since my bills have just been deducted, with my next pay not due until tomorrow. I expect to be reimbursed promptly for this issue. It is frustrating to not be able to resolve a problem I did not cause due to the company's lack of communication. I rate this experience 0 stars.

I purchased a micro SD card for my camera on Mercari. When the item arrived, it was excessively wrapped in packaging tape and unfortunately, I did not have the tools to open it right away. Being a college student, my scissors were broken, and I didn't have any knives on hand. I had to order new scissors, which resulted in me missing the window to rate the seller. I felt bad and apologized to the seller, but they responded inappropriately and blocked me. Later, I discovered that the SD card is corrupt and I cannot access my vacation videos. The seller's behavior was unacceptable, and I believe I deserve a refund and for Mercari to take action. Looking at the seller's reviews, it seems like this is not an isolated incident of rudeness towards customers.

I purchased an iPhone from a seller and found the condition almost accurate, but they omitted that it is iCloud locked and unable to have service installed. An AT&T representative mentioned that the previous owner needs to provide information to unlock it for service. I confirmed the sale through Mercari, following their protocol for rating the condition. I have had smooth transactions in the past. The package arrived yesterday, and I am disappointed with this issue. If the seller had been truthful, I would not be reaching out for support. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. I purchased what was advertised as genuine Apple AirPods on Mercari. The item appeared authentic in the photos and was sealed. Since I'm a college student, the AirPods were delivered to my family's home. They verified the box, saw it was sealed, and had a serial number, so they assumed it was genuine and refrained from opening it until I returned home a few days later. When we finally opened it, we discovered the AirPods inside were counterfeit. I missed the 3-day window to make a claim, but we are deeply disappointed as I paid $[redacted] for a fake product. It would mean a lot if there was a way to secure a refund. I have learned my lesson and won't take such risks again. I recently bought a unique lot of collectible Hot Wheels cars on Mercari. However, within hours of my purchase, the seller sold the same item to someone else, claiming they had received a better offer. This goes against our legally binding agreement. When I confronted the seller, he admitted to entertaining offers post-sale, exploiting the feature on Mercari that displays sold items. This behavior is unacceptable as it disregards the commitment made upon purchase. I intend to take legal action for breach of contract if the issue is not promptly resolved. I urge Mercari to cancel the duplicate sale and prohibit the buyer from future transactions. Refusal to address this matter and deliver the item I rightfully purchased will result in further action. The seller's actions amount to theft as I paid for and rightfully own the item. I expect a resolution that aligns with our agreement, otherwise, I will pursue legal recourse against the seller, as previously communicated.

A loyal customer of mine recently bought a bicycle helmet from me on a regular basis. We both got a notification saying the item is prohibited (even though it's not). Shortly after, she was told she has multiple accounts and one will be closed while she can keep the other. Unfortunately, my account got closed right after she received that message. I find it puzzling why Mercari would link my account to hers. I have ongoing transactions that I need to continue, so I urge Mercari to reopen my account promptly. It's frustrating to receive warnings for items that are not actually prohibited but are flagged as such. Mercari, please address these issues promptly.

I have been trying to reach the company regarding a recent sale issue without success. I experienced long wait times on the phone and delays even after being promised quick assistance. I sold an Apple Pen through Mercari, which the buyer received but later returned, despite the item being brand new and as described in the listing. The return was accepted against Mercari's policy, which specifies that items accurately described are not eligible for return if the buyer changes their mind or requests a return after three days of receiving the item. I am now seeking payment for the pen instead of Mercari credit, as per the policy. The customer service experience has been frustrating, with difficulties in reaching the company by phone and discovering that the provided email is not functional. The returned pen was opened, raising concerns about its condition and authenticity. I plan to verify the pen's serial number at Apple to confirm its integrity.

I bought two facial setting sprays from Seller on 4/9/19 at the listed price of $20 each. Later that day, I noticed Seller posted a reserved sale for two setting sprays for another customer at $35, but without a photo for verification. Although I received a message stating that my product was shipped, it has been 5 days and I have not received it. I discovered that the Seller did not take my items to the post office. Despite my multiple attempts to contact the Seller, I have not received a response. I am worried that the Seller may have resold my purchased items to a higher bidder and is now asking me to cancel my order. Can a Seller ship an item to someone else once a sale is completed and a label is printed?

I sold a bag through the app to someone who later blocked me after receiving the item and requesting a refund, claiming it was not as described. I have evidence to prove otherwise, including photos of the bag before shipping, the package label showing its correct weight, and the receipt from the post office. Although the platform agreed she would return the bag, I filmed myself opening the package upon its return delivery to find it empty. I have timestamps on screenshots of the delivery notification and the video of the empty box. I've contacted customer support with all my evidence but have yet to receive a response. I am determined to get my money for the purse she essentially stole from me.

I have an ongoing issue with this purchase. I bought a toothbrush on April 9th. The seller claims to have shipped it five days ago, but after contacting USPS, they have no record of the package. Only a label has been created. I am requesting an immediate refund. Despite my efforts to reach out to support, I have not received satisfactory assistance. The last email I received from support asked about tracking information, but it has been two days and I still have no updates.
