I need assistance! My membership number is [redacted]. I believed I had set up auto-renewal for my account, but I received a notice that my number would expire on August 4, [redacted]. I paid online and received a receipt via email with Order# TS [redacted]6. Despite this, I kept receiving renewal reminders via email and phone. Today, August 6, I tried to use my phone and saw a message stating my service had expired. I paid a second time, received another receipt with Order# TS [redacted]9, and contacted a tech support agent with no success. Even though the agent confirmed they saw the payment on their end, my service was not restored. I find this situation distressing as others seem to have encountered similar issues upon renewal. Good morning, my account number is [redacted] under the name G. Sanchez. I made a payment from my credit card to the wrong account. I asked Mr. J.C. to contact you as I am in Ecuador, and it seems none of you speak Spanish. It's surprising that such a large company doesn't have Spanish-speaking staff. I desire a refund for the mistaken payment and want to purchase a new line which you have denied due to fraud concerns. I request a prompt solution and response. It's unreasonable to claim fraud when it's my account and device. I await your urgent reply.

The original installation was completed by a third party that appears to be a scam (Magikjack). While the system functions adequately, there seems to be a lingering issue from the scam causing frequent system malfunctions. I set this up for my mother, and it also manages the front door access, which is often disabled. This situation needs to be rectified promptly, or I may need to switch services. Currently, she is required to reset the router and Magic Jack box 1-3 times per week, and she cannot access any messages as they appear as gibberish. I am looking to refresh the installation (similar to reinstalling Windows on a computer) to eliminate any remnants or lines of problematic code causing these issues. I received an email from MagicJack on August 15 at 3:17 pm regarding the porting of my telephone number [redacted]. Unfortunately, MagicJack was unable to port my number due to a more recent authorization (MRA) from my current carrier, Rogers. Rogers explained that MagicJack needs to initiate the request to port the number and then they will release it. I have contacted Rogers, and they are waiting for this request from MagicJack to proceed with the porting process. If I still want to proceed with porting my number to MagicJack, I need to resolve this issue with my current carrier and then resubmit the port order through the provided link after ensuring all information matches my current carrier's account. I'm frustrated that my Magic Jack device became unusable after the company merged my personal and business accounts without my consent. Despite paying for 5 years in advance over two years ago, I can't receive incoming business calls and the call quality is poor. Texting is hit or miss, and I feel like I'm missing out on important communications. I was promised a new device when the accounts were merged, but it was never sent. Instead, I've spent hours on the phone with tech support only to go in circles and never receive a solution. They want me to pay for another device, but I shouldn't have to. Promises of a fix never materialize, leaving me without a working service.

I recently returned home after a few weeks away. Unfortunately, my Magic Jack is not working properly. I have attempted to reboot it without success. I have also tried restarting my computer, but I keep getting a renewal page even though my subscription is valid until October [redacted]. Clicking on the troubleshooting link just refreshes the renewal page, and my account number is [redacted]0. As I have a significant amount of time left on my account, I am not looking to renew at this moment. Please advise on how I can get my Magic Jack up and running again. Thank you.

My account ID is [redacted]1. I have an original MagicJack connected to my PC for using it as a speakerphone, and a MagicJack Go connected to a wireless phone system, both with the same phone number ([redacted]). While the original MagicJack works fine, the phones connected to the MagicJack Go don't ring for incoming calls anymore. I can still make calls from these phones, but the incoming calls don't ring through. When I connect the phone system to the original MagicJack, the phones ring, so the issue seems to be with the MagicJack Go. I need it to work properly so I don't miss any calls around my house when I'm away from my PC.

I am experiencing two issues. Firstly, I had a 5-year contract with Magic Jack from March [redacted] to February [redacted]. In February [redacted], I spoke to a sales representative to renew my subscription and ended up purchasing a 3-year contract for Magic Jack Go instead. The contract was mistakenly assigned to my old Magic Jack Plus device instead of the new one. Despite speaking to 10 agents from Magic Jack customer service, the issue has not been resolved. The second problem is more urgent. I recently ported my American Magic Jack number to a Canadian number. Although I received an email on August 30, [redacted], confirming the successful porting, I discovered that I am unable to receive incoming calls, only make outgoing calls. This discrepancy has caused inconvenience. I would appreciate assistance with resolving these dilemmas.

Although I had a previous number due to a device accident over seven years ago, I have informed customer service multiple times about this situation. Currently, there seems to be confusion as I am being billed for two lines, yet Magicjack claims I am not registered. I have incurred charges on my Wells Fargo Bank Card ending in 42**, totaling over $[redacted], and I wish to resolve this issue promptly. Failure to address this matter may result in me contacting Wells Fargo Bank to report potential fraudulent activity. My friends, family, and colleagues have informed me that when they call my number, [redacted], the pre-recorded message from your MagicJack service states that my number has not been assigned. However, I recently renewed my service until [redacted], and I have had this number for at least 4 years. Why is your service not allowing calls to reach me? Please resolve this issue promptly.

Regarding Magic Jack, I renewed two telephone numbers on September 4, [redacted], which were originally due on September 22, [redacted]. In early October, the wall outlet device for telephone number [redacted] malfunctioned. I ordered a replacement device and paid an additional $39 for another year. I was promised a credit for the $39 I had already paid in September, extending my due date to September 22, [redacted]. However, I have not received any new bills yet. Both lines are due, and I am unsure if the double payment was credited. Despite multiple attempts by calling various numbers, including those in the Philippines, I have been unable to resolve the issue. I purchased a 5-year prepaid magic service in [redacted], which is set to expire in September [redacted]. Recently, MJ began blocking some incoming calls due to an alleged $32.34 charge for an international call from March [redacted], a charge we previously disputed with our credit card company. MJ claims to have emailed me regarding this charge, but we never received any corresponding emails. They instructed me to update my account with a current credit card online to authorize the payment of $32.34 plus taxes. However, I am unable to add a card as my password is not being accepted. I have tried to reset my password and locate the option to add a credit card on their website, but have been unsuccessful. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I renewed my Magic Jack Plus subscription for $44.66, but my device is not functioning properly. The MJ screen with the dial pad continuously opens and closes, preventing me from making or receiving calls. I contacted a technician, but after a frustrating 30-minute call, he hung up on me. I have been a loyal Magic Jack customer for some time, but I now wish to cancel my subscription and receive a refund to my credit card promptly.

I am experiencing issues with my messages not being forwarded to my email account (a******[redacted]). Despite repeatedly pressing all the necessary buttons on my MagicJack, messages and MP4 files are still not being sent to my email. I have contacted the chat support twice, but I struggled to communicate as there was no chat window available, and I do not have a microphone for audio communication. We are experiencing issues with our phone connection. Recently, our phone has been showing "no line" for over a day before regaining service. I have attempted to resolve this by replacing Ethernet cords and power adapters, as well as restarting the router/modem. We have been using magicjack for 5 years, but switched our internet provider from AT&T U-verse to Spectrum. Currently, the connection seems stable, but when I try to make outgoing calls with our magicjack number, there is no response. Other calls to the magicjack number go straight to voicemail. When there is no connection, the green light on the magicjack is off. I am considering purchasing a new magicjack since the issue is recurring. Attempts to contact customer service have been unsuccessful as calls are disconnected.

I had two phone numbers, a free US number and a Canadian number. Unfortunately, my free US number disappeared. When speaking with an agent, he mentioned that I needed to renew the device for $40. I find this confusing since I already have the device and the number; I only ever had to renew the Canadian number in the past. The agent claimed he renewed it and said Billing would activate it. After being transferred to billing, the agent gave me a hard time verifying my account because I didn't provide my last name first and first name last. When I asked for a manager, she returned to the call in less than a minute and told me I had to keep waiting. On top of that, she abruptly hung up on me. It was frustrating, especially since she was loudly chewing gum, making it even harder to understand her.

I recently bought a new MagicJack in August, and it was working well until today. Despite the blue light being on, both my computer and the MagicJack app do not recognize it, leaving me without a dial tone. When attempting to launch the app, a message prompts to wait and displays my phone number, yet it still doesn't start. I've confirmed that my computer's USB ports are functioning correctly with other devices. It appears there may be a malfunction with the MagicJack unit. I kindly request either a replacement at no extra cost or for you to resolve the issue from your end.

I received your email this morning regarding the transfer request for my phone number [redacted]. The customer service experience I had when I chatted with a representative was unsatisfactory. The responses were slow, and I had to wait 3 to 4 minutes between each message. This is why I prefer not to use chat support. I did not authorize my number to be ported to a new provider, despite the timeline provided to them. I requested a phone number to speak with someone directly, but I was directed to use the chat service instead. After almost a decade of being a loyal customer, I am disappointed in the declining service and customer support from magicJack. Please address the issues I've experienced promptly.

On September 18, [redacted], I noticed an issue with the Magic Jack (MJ) phone base. The base was blinking, there was no dial tone, and on the screen it showed "Line in Use" when it wasn't. After checking that both phones were properly hung up and connected, I tried unplugging the line and then discovered I had plugged it into the wrong phone cable once I reconnected it. It has been almost a month since we lost service. I am currently caring for my elderly parents in the Dominican Republic and cannot afford to make a long-distance call to MJ customer service. We really need to have the paid service restored so my parents can receive calls from their children in the US, and for me to maintain my business and social connections in the US. I would greatly appreciate prompt assistance from a Magic Jack customer service agent. Thank you.
