The driver's name was Frank C. The ride was on August 8 to Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center. I am unable to report the phone missing through the app as the lost phone's number is associated with the account. Hello, My name is Ahmet B. I am having trouble understanding why my account verification process failed. I have an Uber account, an Amazon Flex account, bank accounts, and a car registered in my name. Even after providing the same information to you, my account verification was unsuccessful. The check-r system validated my information, but I am unsure why verification could not be completed. On July 12th, I called a Lyft driver to pick me up at Tony's Corner Pocket at [redacted] W Dallas St. When the driver arrived, he mentioned he didn't have the destination I provided and refused to drive me home. I'm filing this complaint because I was still charged for the pickup even though I didn't get a ride. I would like the refund to be processed back to my card as soon as possible.

My friend ordered a Lyft ride to her address for me using her name. During the ride, the driver made me uncomfortable until my friend's boyfriend joined us. The driver's behavior changed when he saw a male passenger. He became rude and accused us of being unsafe, which led us to record the entire journey. The driver also took a screenshot of my girlfriend's address without permission. Subsequently, he falsely claimed we threatened him with a weapon and submitted fake photos of stained seats, which did not match his actual car interior. He attempted to charge $[redacted] for alleged damages. However, we have evidence from the recorded ride proving the seats were not his and that his claims were inaccurate.

I recently took a Lyft trip to San Francisco from August 10th to August 13th. Upon reviewing my charges, I noticed that some transactions had a temporary Lyft authorization hold. Both myself and my credit card company are unsure of what this means, so they advised me to reach out to Lyft. Upon returning home, I discovered my credit card was missing and canceled it at 4:10 PM today, August 16th. I was a passenger in a ride that my friend arranged for me. Her phone number is [redacted]. The initial driver was supposed to take me to [redacted] Portland Ave., but instead, he drove erratically, didn't reach the destination, and brought me back home to [redacted] Hiawatha Ave. The driver claimed to cancel the ride but didn't, and now I'm seeking a refund of $29 for the incomplete trip. The driver's behavior was very disrespectful and unsafe, making me feel uncomfortable throughout the ride. I've never had such a bad experience with Lyft before, and I believe I should not be charged for this ride. Thankfully, the second driver my friend ordered later provided a great experience. I need to report that I mistakenly left my phone in the Lyft I took today from Charlotte Airport to Hickory. The driver's name is Jim. Unfortunately, I do not have his contact information to reach out to him directly. Could you please help me in getting in touch with the driver? Hello, I require assistance as I am currently encountering difficulty accessing my remaining funds due to a situation with Lyft's billing process. Following three Lyft rides charged to my credit card ending in [redacted], Lyft pre-authorized and subsequently finalized these charges in one lump sum. Although the pre-authorization holds were initially fine, when the final charge went through as a lump sum, my creditor processed it in addition to the pre-authorizations, leading to my funds being locked up. This has caused an inconvenience of almost $[redacted] inaccessible to me. I believe this method of billing may have cost-saving benefits for Lyft but proves to be a hindrance to consumers and inaccurately affects the bank's processing. I suggest rectifying this by removing the pending transactions, as the final billing is already completed, to release the funds back to me. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

From June 26th to July 5th, I noticed a charge of $[redacted].08 on my card which doesn't match the total of $[redacted].12 calculated from my app payment history. It seems I've been overcharged by $62.96. I checked my statements and discovered this discrepancy. I would like a refund of the extra $62.96 that your company mistakenly took from my account. My driver arrived promptly, and as I entered the vehicle, I noticed my trip disappeared from her phone indicating she canceled the ride, which she didn't. She suggested I reorder the ride, but the app assigned me a driver who was 11 minutes away instead. I have pictures of Celia and the situation if needed. It's clear the app malfunctioned, causing her to miss out on the trip, and inconveniencing me with a longer wait time. Celia should not be penalized for this error.

On 7/24/23, Lyft informed me that my account was suspended due to allegations of using racist language towards a passenger, which I vehemently deny. Despite my denial and a brief conversation with Lyft's Safety Team, my account was permanently deactivated seven hours later without providing specific details about the incident. I strive to maintain professionalism during rides and have a solid track record with over 14,[redacted] drives and a 5-star rating on Lyft and nearly 17,[redacted] rides with a 4.98-star rating on Uber. This sudden deactivation citing sexual harassment and discriminatory comments during a ride came as a shock since I have never faced such accusations in my years of driving. I was picked up by the driver at [redacted] Patton Drive and made my first stop at Speedway High School. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my bag, which contained an envelope with $[redacted] for my rent, in the car. The driver was supposed to wait to take me to Speedway Shopping Center next where I needed to purchase a money order. I briefly entered the school to leave a phone at their desk, and upon returning, I realized the driver had left. Despite watching his movements on the app, he proceeded to Speedway Shopping Center and then ended the ride. The app should indicate that I was abandoned at Speedway High School and I had to continue on foot. I am requesting a refund for the ride and the return of my bag with the envelope, or reimbursement for the bag and its contents.

I requested a ride for today at 7:30 PM, scheduled last night. The driver was 15 minutes late, causing me distress, as he mentioned he could only wait for 4 minutes. The ride was short, only 3 blocks to my job. Unfortunately, I left my phone in the driver's car when I rushed to use the restroom. I believe I owe him $20 for being delayed by 15 minutes. I have been driving for Lyft for five years and have maintained a 5-star rating. Yesterday, on 9/1/23, I picked up a woman around 4:30 am from her home to take her to the clinic. She was anxious about being left behind, so I reassured her, kept the app on, and drove her back home. During the ride, I contacted Lyft to let them know I would be returning the woman home. However, I was told by a customer service representative to pull over and drop her off, which I later realized was an elderly passenger. I refused to leave her stranded on the roadside for a ride. 1. It was between 4:30-5 am in New Jersey. 2. Lyft's upfront pricing only covered the one-way trip, not the round trip. 3. Whether I complete the trip or another driver does, the customer still pays. However, this situation feels like my earnings are being unfairly affected, my vehicle is at risk, and the lack of respect for drivers is concerning. They need to improve their service. I am seeking proper compensation for the inconvenience and time wasted dealing with this issue.

Hello, Yesterday I had a ride where I feel I was overcharged. The app was glitching, and my driver had trouble locating me. He had to call me to find me. The app showed a different amount after the ride than what was shown initially. I have attached screenshots for reference.
