I was approved by Lyft to drive on June 14th, [redacted], at 7:03 pm according to the email I received. Lyft allowed me to drive based on my Checkr background status. However, after driving for only 2 days, I was informed that I could no longer drive due to a background check by a company called First Advantage Background Check Services. The issue is that both reports are identical, and Lyft never sought my permission to conduct a background check with a different company. Essentially, Lyft terminated me for a report they had approved just 2 days prior. I tried to address this with a supervisor but was unable to as the app closed, removing my ability to contact support. I am seeking the names of the individuals responsible for the inconsistent decisions made in my case.

I was involved in a car accident in School Town, Alabama, and was taken to a hospital. I have never used Lyft or Uber before. I tried to see if there were any rides available on Lyft, but it asked me to add a card. However, my card was not accepted, so I prepaid for a ride, only to find no Lyft drivers in the area. I am looking for a way to get my money refunded as I do not use Lyft or any similar services. I needed a ride from the hospital with no other options available, hence the payment. Kindly refund my money as I am unfamiliar with this process.

I am on a tight budget, and my account has been charged 6 times in the last 24 hours. There are $60 in unauthorized pending charges, leaving me without the funds to support myself, my family, and my job. These charges are causing transportation issues that may impact my employment. As a Lyft driver, I would like to request compensation for a ride provided to Amy this morning at around 9:00 AM on June 23. Although the ride was cancelled by Lyft, I am not seeking a cancellation fee but fair payment for completing the ride. Upon arrival, Amy boarded my car, and shortly after, the ride was unexpectedly cancelled by Lyft. Despite Amy's attempts to rebook during the trip, the app rightly recognized she was already en route with me. Amy was charged $16.00 for the trip by Lyft. I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue as providing services without compensation is unreasonable.

I accidentally deleted and marked as spam a text regarding my 8 am Sunday 6/25 ride with driver Christopher. I want to ensure he can reach me. I checked the Lyft app and received a security code text, indicating Lyft is not marked as spam. I'm unsure how to unmark a number on my phone. I'm worried about getting to the airport tomorrow and want to avoid any issues.

Hello, I am Julian Wright, a driver on your platform. I received a notification from the app that a rider reported I completed a ride when in reality I canceled it before picking them up. The ride does not appear in my history, and I have not been able to resolve this issue with support. I believe my account is at risk of suspension unjustly. Please refrain from referencing multiple recent complaints as I am certain this pertains only to the specific canceled ride in question. I am eager to have this matter addressed promptly. I requested a ride from Lyft, but unfortunately, the driver did not show up and I was charged a cancellation fee. Strangely, the ride does not appear in my ride history. I had to request another ride, but there seems to be no option in the app or online account to dispute the charges. The app has a chat window, but I couldn't find a way to submit my concern there either. To make matters worse, today I noticed Lyft is charging me for what seems to be a tip, even though I haven't taken a ride recently.

Hello everyone, I encountered an issue while driving. I had my teddy bear on the front seat, and someone reported that I was driving with a child. Can you believe it? Without any evidence, I was deactivated. Passengers often take pictures with the bear as it's a fun thing to do here in Alaska. I have a dash camera that records 24 hours, and if someone lodged a complaint during that time, I can provide evidence. Can someone assist me in resolving this matter? Thank you.

Yesterday, I had trouble being picked up at the Shapiro entrance of Boston's Beth Israel Hospital. The driver couldn't locate me as none of the cars had the license number provided. I'm unsure if the entrance displays the street number, 98 Binney St. Two additional Lyft drivers also couldn't find me. Disappointed, I eventually headed home using public transportation. On another note, my first driver, Pierre, was assigned a pick-up address slightly away from mine, but we managed to connect. Pierre provided excellent service and deserves a top rating.

I am concerned about unauthorized charges appearing in my bank account for rides I did not take. I need to discuss these charges with a representative urgently. There is a charge for a ride that was canceled by the driver, as well as several small amounts that do not make sense to me. Please contact me to resolve these discrepancies promptly. Hello, this is Anne-Thorie. I recently noticed three Lyft transactions on my account that I did not authorize. These transactions seem to have occurred on the 29th, although I last used the app on Wednesday the 28th. I have not shared my account with anyone or linked my card to another account. Upon contacting my bank, they advised me to reach out to you for assistance. The unauthorized charges were for $8.99, $9.99, and $9.71. I appreciate any help you can offer to resolve this matter. The driver who picked us up at the airport was driving a Ford Festiva and had personal items in the back. After making us wait for nearly 15 minutes, she cancelled the ride upon arrival, stating that she couldn't accommodate our 3 bags. It's frustrating! Why was she using a small car for airport pickups when passengers typically have luggage? Additionally, her car should have been empty. I'm keen to report this driver, but since she cancelled the ride, she doesn't show up in my ride history.

I reserved a Lyft ride for 4:30 AM, expecting a fare around $37. However, the driver's route deviation resulted in the total fare exceeding $80. I followed Lyft's complaint procedure and they explained that various factors could have affected the cost. It seems excessive for a missed highway exit to almost double the fare, especially considering the early morning light traffic. I admit the added mileage may have played a role, but it's frustrating to see such a significant increase due to the driver's mistake while chatting.

On Tuesday, June 27, I contacted LYFT around 6:00 pm to request a ride to Alameda. When I opened the app, it directed me to a pickup and drop-off page without giving me the option to change it. The app showed a pickup time of 6:40-6:50 pm, even though I had not confirmed the order. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to cancel the ride or reset the booking process as the app kept redirecting me to the same page. To my surprise, I noticed that I was charged for this uncompleted trip and prompted to tip the driver. I'm kindly requesting a refund for the unauthorized transaction made through PayPal. I found myself stranded at Houston, TX airport when I had trouble accessing a ride through the Lyft app. Despite providing all necessary information, I couldn't get it to work. It was my first attempt using Lyft, and for some reason, my valid debit card with enough funds was not being accepted. I even tried depositing $50 into my Lyft account, but still couldn't request a ride on June 14, [redacted]. I am now seeking a refund of my deposit to my bank account urgently. The lack of a contact number to reach Lyft was very frustrating as I was stuck at the airport for hours in an unfamiliar city with nobody to call for assistance, having to rely on strangers for help. Hello, my name is Donnie Williams. I've been driving for around seven years and have completed over 10,[redacted] rides. A few days ago, my Lyft app was disabled, claiming I was under the influence. However, I do not drink or use drugs. At 58 years of age, I uphold high moral standards. Despite patiently waiting, I haven't received any response from Lyft regarding this issue. I find it highly unjust that my app has been disabled based on a false accusation that goes against my values. Please assist me in resolving this matter as I have yet to hear back from Lyft.

Dear Support, I am writing to express my extreme frustration with a recent Lyft ride to the airport. The journey that should have taken an hour in traffic ended up being 2.5 to 3 hours long due to the driver's lack of familiarity with the route. Multiple wrong turns were made, leading us in circles around the city. I had to provide directions and assistance, as the driver seemed unsure and even resorted to seeking advice from friends via the app while driving. This experience caused me significant stress, making me almost miss my flight and having to rush through security. I am requesting a full refund for this unacceptable service, as it is unfair for passengers to be delayed because of a driver's inexperience with common routes. Hello, I am Qand Agha Naseri, and I recently applied to become a Lyft driver. Unfortunately, I received a message stating that I am not currently eligible due to not meeting Lyft's minimum driving requirements in my area. Initially, the message read "You are not eligible for now," but now it has changed to "Your driver Application is on hold" with an additional note about an issue found during my DMV check. I am unsure when I will be able to meet Lyft's minimum driving requirements. Thank you.

I installed the Lyft app only to be scammed. My debit card got charged multiple times, prompting me to have it canceled while I was away from home. Now, I'm left without a debit card. It's frustrating that every time I look for the contact number or help line, I end up finding scam numbers. This experience has made it challenging for me to trust any ride-hailing apps, leaving me stranded.
