I have two accounts on LinkedIn - one active and another old one under my previous legal last name. I am looking to merge them as they both belong to me, but I don't have access to the email or password for the old account. I am Josh Mallaber (formerly Josh Ferrari) and the work histories on both accounts match up until I stopped using the old one. I have tried to send a request to the old account with no luck. Any assistance on how to combine these accounts would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am writing to express my frustration regarding an issue with my LinkedIn account. Recently, I made the decision to change my brand name from Max Marin to my own name, Hussein Azizi. However, LinkedIn flagged this change as impersonation, which is not the case at all. To make matters worse, my account was closed without any clear explanation by an unidentified individual. This has happened on multiple occasions, and I am concerned about the security of my account, especially in relation to my contacts. I have also updated my phone number to ensure added security, but I am now experiencing difficulty logging into my account due to a recent email change. As I have not traveled abroad for an extended period and do not possess a valid passport, I would appreciate alternative verification options such as using an identification card. Your assistance in resolving this matter and helping me regain access to my account would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am trying to recover my LinkedIn account that was accidentally deleted on August 29th. I downgraded from a premium to a basic account and now I cannot access it. Despite my attempts to recover it, I only get new accounts with no access to my old contacts. I recreated a new account with the same email, username, and password but I am missing my contacts. Is there a way to transfer my contacts from the deleted account to the new one?

I used to be a member of Lynda.com for learning purposes. The platform is now part of LinkedIn Learning. Hello, I am Tony Billings, and two of my colleagues, Paul Billings and Carter Graves, are experiencing issues with their LinkedIn profiles. Despite our recent business launch announcement going out to all connections, their new positions at OmniCounts did not trigger notifications to their contacts upon updating their profiles, unlike what happened with me and another colleague, Carlo Prinzo. We are not in private mode, so we are puzzled as to why this discrepancy occurred. Can you please assist in making sure that Paul and Carter's position changes are publicly announced on their profiles? Thank you.

I have been attempting to retrieve my original LinkedIn account under the name Dawn Hendry, previously working as a Geologist at Kennecott Utah Copper. As I got laid off from that job a while ago, I no longer had access to the email address associated with it, which led me to create a second account. Nonetheless, I wish to consolidate to just one account but found it challenging to transfer all the necessary information. Consequently, I avoided using LinkedIn altogether. Subsequently, I created a third account yesterday and stumbled upon my initial profile while searching my name. Regrettably, I cannot recall the old email linked to it despite numerous attempts. I wish to gain access to my original profile and delete the redundant secondary accounts. I am experiencing difficulties navigating LinkedIn as I explore job opportunities in my field. I have complied with the verification process by submitting my driver's license for the account I recently opened. The original profile showcases my employment history at Kennecott and Palladon Iron, among others. I earnestly seek assistance to recover access to my original profile.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address the issue I am experiencing with my restricted account. Despite submitting my ID details, I was informed that the account cannot be recovered without further explanation. I have always abided by the policies and regulations and am not an overly active user. I suspect that my account may have been compromised by a hacker. Furthermore, I attempted to create a new account using my email address, but was unable to do so as it was linked to the restricted profile. As this email is crucial for my professional network and business contacts, I would appreciate it if there is a way to allow me to continue utilizing the email address, even if the old account cannot be retrieved. Your prompt assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this concern. Best regards, M. Vuletic

I am a retired CEO who started as a General Contractor with nothing but my name and eventually became a Developer in the San Diego area within five years. I have always upheld my word and have a military background, serving in the USAF during Vietnam, while my father served in high offices. Sadly, I had to retire due to developing Epilepsy. I took part in experimental treatments at New York Presbyterian Hospital and have been featured in the New York Times and various TV broadcasts for helping find ways to control seizures successfully. Despite my accomplishments, I was recently told by individuals within a service that I am not valued. This interaction has left me disheartened.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out on behalf of [redacted], a resident of Myanmar whose LinkedIn profile has been blocked. My name is Rob Bisseling, residing in the Netherlands, and I am assisting him in creating and managing a LinkedIn account for his business in Myanmar. Since his account was blocked, you requested him to upload his passport, please refer to the attached document. You mentioned being unable to read the ID card and that it does not appear to be a passport. In Myanmar, most people have identity cards as opposed to passports. O Moung Ohn Moung does not possess a passport. The difficulty in reading the card is due to the Burmese language used on the cards, which differ from English. Additionally, there is a fingerprint on the back of the identity card, which is a standard feature. Kindly consider accepting his identity card in its current form. I am unsure of the reason for the account blockage, but a review of his activity should show it is ordinary. I trust you can now lift the block, and for any further inquiries, feel free to contact me or direct your queries to O Moung. Warm regards, Rob Bisseling The Netherlands, Europe

I recently noticed an unexpected charge on my account indicating a premium service subscription I did not sign up for. I have not authorized any premium services and would like all current subscriptions canceled. Additionally, I request a refund for charges made to my Paypal account, as I am unsure how these automatic charges via LinkedIn were initiated. This situation has been alarming, especially as I have not requested or approved any premium services, let alone a payment amounting to $[redacted].88. I have previously enjoyed using your service, albeit infrequently, but this incident has left me feeling uneasy. I kindly ask for a thorough investigation, the restoration of my account to its normal state, and the prompt refund of the charges. Sincerely, K. B.

Since around August 26th, I have been unable to access my LinkedIn account which I've had since [redacted] with approximately [redacted] connections. Upon investigating, I found a different email address ([redacted]) and phone number ([redacted]) associated with my account. Despite notifying LinkedIn via their help portal and sending images of my driver's license, I did not receive a response. It's perplexing how my account was hacked, as I use strong, unique passwords and my computer scans showed no issues. Additionally, I encountered suspicious pop-ups from "pushqwer.com" and noticed my Google searches redirecting to Yahoo. Alongside my Twitter and Facebook accounts being compromised, my main focus now is recovering my LinkedIn account to reconnect with contacts from over 5 years. Despite attempts to create a new account, I am required to submit my driver's license again. I am hopeful that my old account information can be retrieved. Any assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated.

I am an attorney using LinkedIn solely for my law practice as a Private member. I am considering upgrading to Premium, which offers a free month and additional benefits not clearly explained on the website. I'm seeking more information on the following: 1. How does Private mode work? I used to see companies and positions of those reviewing my profile, but that info is now missing. Has "Private" changed? 2. Can I still switch to "Public"? If yes, a. How can I do that? b. What are the associated costs? c. How does it differ from Private and Premium? 3. Are there other membership categories or subcategories, and how can I learn more about them? 4. Please provide me with an email and phone number for direct contact with LinkedIn for questions not covered on the website. Thank you

I have a LinkedIn account linked to an outdated email due to retirement. I attempted to delete the account to create a new one but was prompted to verify my identity. I uploaded my driver's license and received an email saying someone from support will contact me, with case number "[redacted]02." It's been over a week since then, and I'm yet to hear from them. I'm seeking assistance to access my old account, enabling me to close it and create a new one with a fresh email. My old account under the name "Brian Hickey, Director at Pace University" is linked at "linkedin.com/in/brian-hickey-91b82817/." Thank you.

Hello, I'm Brian Bair, the CEO of Offerpad. Previously, my account was managed by my former assistant using the email [redacted], but that email is no longer active. I changed assistants, and now my new assistant is helping me reset my account to [redacted] However, I'm unable to reset the password because the recovery email is still being sent to the inactive msn.com address. I tried uploading my driver's license on 9/20 as instructed on the website, but the recovery information was still sent to the old email. I'm willing to verify my identity via video conference. We temporarily created another account with the username [redacted], but it only links to social media with no bio or career history. I urgently need assistance in resetting the password for my original "BRIAN BAIR, CEO of Offerpad" account and updating the email to [redacted] to avoid starting from scratch and rebuilding my contacts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recently received an email informing me of a new email added to my account that I did not recognize. To be cautious, I accessed my LinkedIn account from a different device and did not click any links provided. It prompted me to log in again, and upon doing so, I was alerted that someone else was already using my account. However, when I tried to access my account through the URL directly, it could not be found. I am deeply concerned as I have built a network of over [redacted] contacts over two years for my business and important professional relationships. I am willing to provide my URL and identification to verify my identity. I have been trying to resolve this issue for over three hours and I am experiencing a migraine due to the stress of not being able to access MY account.

I am experiencing an issue with LinkedIn, as I have two profiles - one current and one old, which I need to have deleted. Unfortunately, I don't recall the email address or password for the old profile. Despite my efforts to seek assistance from LinkedIn's Q&A section and help forum, as well as emailing their customer support team, all require me to verify my identity with an email address first. This has been a frustrating process, especially as I am preparing to search for a new job and having two profiles is not ideal. The old profile that requires deletion belongs to Lisa Hope, formerly the Head of Specialist Business at IAG New Zealand. My current profile correctly lists me as Lisa Hope, the People & Culture Services Manager at IAG, including information from the old profile. I hope LinkedIn can consider this overlapping information as evidence of my ownership and proceed with deleting the old profile. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
