Yesterday, my daughter and I visited your store and used the self-checkout around 1:57pm. The staff member assisting us was Dena, but I am unsure of the exact spelling. She mentioned that the coupon could not be applied to weekend specials, so I asked her to remove the shampoo from the purchase. While attempting to do so, my 17-year-old daughter unintentionally leaned on the bag holder, and Dena reacted by swiftly gesturing for her to stop and saying, "You can't lean on that." This left me quite upset. Subsequently, Dena voided the order, instructing us to rescan the items, and added a somewhat insincere apology directed at my daughter. I felt the need to share my disappointment with this service encounter as I found it to be unprofessional and unacceptable. Thank you for addressing my concerns. Sincerely, Tina Osborne

While shopping in-store, I noticed an elderly customer struggling with an electric cart at the checkout. The clutter in the aisle caused her to bump into displays, creating a challenging situation. I assisted by lifting the cart and items that had fallen, but it was clear improvements are needed. By reducing clutter and creating more space for carts, such incidents could be avoided. Consider making changes at the Chester store to enhance the shopping experience for all customers. Thank you, John N.

I have saved my fuel discount receipts multiple times, but I have noticed that I am not receiving the full discount I should be getting. For instance, my recent receipt showed [redacted] points, which should have given me a 30 cent discount on gas. However, on 11/24, only 72 points were showing, and I didn't receive or use any points that day. This discrepancy is a recurring issue, and it seems there may be a problem with the program. I consistently use my home phone number to activate my account, yet I am only receiving a 3 cent discount each time. I would appreciate it if this could be looked into further. I am willing to provide evidence if necessary.

Hello, I issued a check at Mariano’s in November. They deposited it and also did an ACH transaction, causing a double withdrawal from my account. I contacted Kroger, and it has been almost three weeks of them "investigating." It seems that since it's not their money, there is no urgency on their part. I have shared all my checking statements and checks with various individuals, but there has been no update yet. I require a check to be sent out promptly as this was not my mistake. Why am I still waiting after weeks for this matter to be resolved?

Hello, I am reaching out regarding the promotion offering 30% and 50% off depending on how much you spend. I just discovered this deal today and was unaware of it beforehand. Is there any chance I could still avail of the coupon? I have made purchases totaling over $3,[redacted] with your company in the past year, and it would be greatly appreciated. I have gifts to buy for my children, and this discount would be incredibly helpful. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Crystal V.

As a current overnight stocking employee, I faced a dilemma when my daughter texted me during my lunch break. The assistant manager's son, who does the floors at night, refused to let me leave until I returned, asking me to fetch him a drink from the store. I ended up being away for 23 minutes and 7 seconds, despite going straight back to work. I failed to fill out a time sheet but detailed the incident immediately upon returning to work the next day. Subsequently, I have been suspended since early December, with my first grievance meeting denied. A second meeting is scheduled for Jan 3. My manager expressed a desire for me to return to work the same night. I suspect this situation stems from my previous complaint about a hostile work environment and alleged sexual harassment that were seemingly covered up by the management. Another female colleague is also reportedly facing harassment. All my correspondence regarding the incident seems to have vanished with the accused individual's file. I never intended to deceive the store regarding my time away, and I am seeking guidance and assistance in this matter urgently.

Today at the Kroger in Shelter Cove, HHI SC, I attempted to purchase Frozen Bill Jack Dig Food. Unfortunately, the product was defrosted due to the freezer on the upper shelf being frosted over. This has occurred before, making shopping at this location challenging. I usually need help reaching items due to their placement, which may contribute to the freezer being left open. I wish the handling of products was similar to the Bluffton store. I have a photo of the spoiled products in the frosted freezer if you're interested.

I placed an order for delivery through the Kroger app in Corinth, MS for today at 7-8 pm. However, just nine minutes before 8, I received a message that delivery would be delayed until 9:30-10:00 pm. Despite my attempts to reach Kroger for clarification, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and then disconnected. Another call directed me to Instacart. Subsequently, I was notified at 8:30 that the delivery would be even further delayed to 10-10:30 pm. Calling Instacart, I was faced with a 63-minute wait time. I believe the company should have informed me earlier about the substantial delay in my delivery. Uncertain about the arrival time, I am disappointed with the handling of this situation and find waiting until 10:30 pm to put away groceries unacceptable.

I have had a frustrating experience with Instacart and Kroger. I spent hours on hold, and my last order arrived three days late with missing items. When I reached out to both companies, they just pointed fingers at each other. My recent order placed on 4/4/[redacted] has still not been delivered. After negotiating, we were promised a $20 refund for the previous order and a credit for this one. However, we had to go to Kroger ourselves as the delivery fell through. Now they are reneging on the agreement made over the phone. This has left my fiance in a difficult situation at the store. I am incredibly dissatisfied and disheartened by this experience.

I had placed an order with Kroger in Canal Winchester, Ohio on Sunday, May 3rd, to be delivered on May 6th before noon. Unfortunately, the order did not arrive as scheduled. I contacted customer service, and they assured me that the order would be delivered on Thursday, May 7th by noon with a $10 credit. However, the order did not arrive as promised. After being transferred and placed on hold for 35 minutes, I decided to contact Kroger directly for assistance. I am now hoping to receive the order on May 8th by noon. I am wondering about the average wait time and if orders are being processed in the order they were received. I placed the order on Sunday for Wednesday, but it is now Friday and the order has not been assigned yet. I was informed by Instacart that they are unable to expedite the process. I am eagerly waiting for the assignment of my order. Thank you.

I am attempting to arrange pickup service at my local Kroger store. Initially, I used the service once but did not receive confirmation due to not submitting the order correctly. The next day, the order was ready without issues. Today, while trying to place a 43-item order, I faced a series of errors stating my password or email was incorrect. When trying to reset the password, it indicated my email was unrecognized, leading to the discovery that my account seemingly doesn't exist. Additionally, I was informed my loyalty number is linked to another household when attempting to create a new account. I am frustrated and seeking assistance to establish a pickup service for ordering groceries online and picking them up at the store.

My name is Isaac R. I worked for one full day at Food 4 Less in Evanston, IL. I stopped working because my mother has cancer, and I felt that social distancing and mask-wearing were not being observed by the staff. Additionally, there were too many people allowed into the store at once. Despite my concerns, I completed the full shift and two days of training. It has been confirmed on multiple calls that I am owed one check for $[redacted].34 and $11. After sending this email, following numerous hours on the phone and multiple transfers within the Kroger organization with promises of a check that never arrived, I am considering contacting the Department of Labor. I have been extremely patient and would have liked to continue working for your organization, but the lack of adherence to COVID-19 safety measures was concerning. I did not report this to anyone in Evanston directly.

During my recent weekly grocery shopping trip at Kroger, I noticed a gentleman stocking the Krispy Kreme display without wearing a mask. Despite customers having masks, I am concerned about subcontractors not following safety protocols. Given that my household limits outings and relies on Kroger for essentials, I believe Kroger should prioritize enforcing safety measures for all individuals in the store. This incident occurred at the Blue Ash location on Hunt Rd approximately a week ago. I have considered shopping elsewhere, but I hope that Kroger will take action to rectify this situation. I suggest implementing measures like those at Menards, such as prominent signage and security guards ensuring mask compliance. While the location may not currently require such strict enforcement, I am apprehensive about continuing to shop where contractors do not prioritize public safety.

I placed an order online for a cake to be picked up at 3 pm on Dec. The store claimed they only checked their email at 4 pm, causing my cake not to be ready. I chose a chocolate cake with Bavarian cream, but the cream was frozen and 2 slices were missing. Now the cream has thawed, making the cake soggy. When I contacted them, they brushed off my concerns because the cake was complimentary. However, it was a birthday cake that went unenjoyed due to their error. I am disappointed with the way they handled the situation.

I recently shopped at the Kroger store in Hendersonville, TN on 1/02/21 at 10:47 PM located at [redacted] East Main St. My name is William Flannery, and my Kroger ID number is [redacted]95. I had a .50 cent coupon loaded for ONE loaf of Kroger Private Selection bread, but it was not deducted from my total bill of $2.50 as reflected on my receipt. This has been a recurring issue with other coupons as well. I want to bring this to your attention as it is frustrating when coupons are not applied correctly after taking the time to load them online and ensuring my Kroger card is scanned during checkout. Thank you for addressing this concern.

My daughter, who is pregnant, has been waiting in her car at Kroger, Goodman/Getwell in Southaven, Mississippi, for over two hours for her pick-up order. She placed the order properly, but the store has not even started filling it. I am frustrated because this is the second time this has happened. However, the store is not answering the phone despite my repeated attempts and the Kroger Chat on corporate has not provided any assistance yet. It is disappointing that even the Kroger corporate is not answering their phone. Fortunately, the manager eventually went to the parking lot to speak with my daughter. While I understand delays can occur, it would be appreciated if Kroger could offer some form of compensation, perhaps a gift card, for the two hours she has been waiting.

I visited the Kroger in Columbus, Indiana at 5:30 PM on a weekday, a typically busy time for grocery stores. I was surprised to see only two cashiers and two self-checkout lanes open, each with long lines of 8 to 10 customers. This doesn't align with Kroger's reputation for great customer service. The situation led to congestion and delays, compelling customers with full carts to use the self-checkouts, causing further backups. This experience has left me considering shopping elsewhere. It's important for Kroger to have more lanes open during peak hours to ensure efficient service for customers who have taken the time to shop at the store.

On February 6th, I placed an order for over $[redacted] to be picked up at Kroger on El Camino Real at 6 pm. I received a call asking if I could come at 7 pm instead, and I agreed. However, at around 5 pm, I got a text reminder for my 6 pm order. Confused, I called for clarification. Michelle confirmed the 7 pm pickup time. When I arrived at 7:11 pm, the staff told me my order was still being gathered, even after waiting over an hour. Other customers arrived later and got their orders before me, which was frustrating. I spoke to the manager, Curtis, after waiting for two hours. Despite the delay and lack of service, there was no apology or compensation offered. I contacted customer service but did not receive a satisfactory response. The lack of customer appreciation and poor service have made me reconsider shopping at your store.

I recently shopped at the Canton, MI store on Michigan Avenue at 3pm on April 17th, [redacted]. When I needed help at the deli counter, the employee there said they were closed for the day and there was no one else to assist. I went to the customer service desk, but it was unattended. A cashier informed me that it was closed. Finally, after finding the manager, he apologized for the inconvenience. It's disappointing that the deli was closed on a Saturday afternoon. Understandably, there may be staffing challenges due to COVID, but I hope Kroger can improve their service. I might consider shopping at ALDI or Meijer in the future.

I had a pick-up order on May 3rd at the Cincinnati North Bend store (checkout ID [redacted], retrieval number [redacted]/35). I was supposed to receive 2 lbs of Sahlen's ham, but only got 1 lb and was charged for both ($6.11 each). In the big ziplock bag labeled qty:2, there was actually only one pack of ham. This marks the second time in the last month where I've received less ham than charged for - last time, I was overcharged $16 for 2 lbs. Can Kroger please assist with correcting this? Thank you, Dan B.
