How Do I Transfer a Kroger Gift Card to Another Account?

Kroger has a feature that lets you transfer your gift card balance to another Kroger account. To transfer a gift card to someone else's account, the recipient must have an account with Kroger. Here are the steps to transfer a Kroger gift card to another account.

1. Log In to Your Kroger Account

Go to Kroger's website and click Log In. You'll be prompted to enter your username and password. Select My Account.

2. What You Will Need

To send a gift card, you will need:

• The original Kroger gift card number
• The PIN on the back of the original Kroger gift card
• The recipient's name and phone number
• Their Kroger Plus card number

3. Select Manage My Gift Card Balance

Enter your gift card code in the space provided and click Check Balance. This will display the remaining balance on your card. If there's a zero balance, you won't be able to transfer the funds from this gift card.

4. Choose My Gift Cards

Navigate to the My Account tab and click Gift Cards under Manage Your Account. Find the card you want to transfer and select Transfer Balance. Enter the recipient's email address and press Send Email.

5. Click Transfer to Send It to Another Kroger Plus Account

Enter the amount you want to transfer to a different Kroger account. You can also include a message if you wish. After reviewing this information, select Continue, where you'll be asked to verify your information. Once you verify everything is correct, click Submit. The recipient will receive an email with a link to claim the new gift card balance with the PIN.

6. Confirm Transfer

To check that Kroger has transferred your gift card, log onto your Kroger gift card account online or call the customer service number.
