I attempted to organize my game icons into a folder on my Kindle Fire. However, after changing my mind and removing the icons, they now appear blank on the home screen with only their names showing. While trying to group the icons together by dragging them on top of each other, a folder seemed to start forming. Before finalizing the folder, I removed the icons from this potential folder. Despite rebooting multiple times and closing all programs from the square icon, the issue persists.

I am having trouble downloading books on my Kindle. Additionally, I am unable to delete books from my library or access the instruction manual. The device seems stuck in one area, and I cannot navigate to the homepage or access any other features. Reading is a significant part of my life, and I rely on my Kindle to save money. This situation is disappointing for me, especially since I am on a fixed income.

My Kindle Fire 5th generation device is experiencing two connected issues. Firstly, when connected to WiFi, it repeatedly emits a "needs recharging" beep every two seconds. This beep only stops when WiFi is disconnected. After trying numerous solutions found online, I resorted to resetting the device to factory settings, a recommended step by Amazon for troubleshooting various issues. Following the reset, the Kindle requires re-registration as if it is a new device. However, during this process, it refuses to accept my Amazon password, rendering the Kindle unusable. Please provide guidance on resolving the beeping problem to restore the functionality of the tablet. If this issue cannot be resolved, I kindly request information regarding receiving appropriate credit towards a replacement device. - Kindle 5th Generation

I am experiencing two issues with my Kindle Fire 5th gen: 1. While connected to WiFi, it emits a beeping sound indicating it needs recharging every two seconds. The only way to stop it is by disconnecting from WiFi. After searching online for a solution and finding none, I reset it to factory settings as a final attempt to fix the issue. Amazon suggests this as a fix for some problems. 2. After resetting, I had to re-register the Kindle as a new device. During this process, it requested my Amazon password. However, it did not accept it, rendering the Kindle unusable. Please provide guidance on how to resolve the beeping problem so I can use the tablet again. If this issue persists, please offer a suitable credit for a replacement. Kindle 5th gen Purchase Date: 12/10/15 G0K0 H[redacted] OSX6 Howard N. Denver, CO

My Kindle froze, so I contacted Get Human for assistance. After contacting them, my Kindle started working again. However, after reading a few chapters, it hung once more and is now acting unpredictably. I am unable to enter my password. I attempted to reboot by pressing and holding the disconnect button, but it only reboots to about 80-90% before asking for the password again. Furthermore, it's claiming I haven't renewed my subscription, although my records show it's paid until May [redacted].

As a loyal Kindle Unlimited subscriber for five years, I recently discovered that I have been charged for books that should have been free over 55 times, totaling over $[redacted]. I have reached out to Amazon with a list of these books and charges, but have only received generic responses that do not address my concerns. Their policy of not allowing me to cancel charges for books borrowed more than three months ago is unfair. I have attempted to discuss this with multiple representatives who were not proficient in English, which has been frustrating. I am contemplating taking legal action in small claims court, although the time and effort involved may not be worth the $[redacted]. However, I feel strongly about the principle of the matter. Seeking punitive damages could potentially grab Amazon's attention, but my preference would be for them to simply refund the incorrect charges. Can anyone offer advice on how to proceed?

I have been a member of Kindle Unlimited for five years. Recently, after reviewing my account, I discovered that despite the books being "lent" as part of the membership, I was charged for 55 or 56 books at the regular price. Attempts to contact Amazon only yielded a generic response. Speaking to a representative and supervisor was unhelpful, especially due to their thick accents. Though I contemplated small claims court to recover the approximately $[redacted] taken by Amazon, the time and effort may not be worthwhile. However, I might pursue this route on principle alone. If Amazon could simply refund the wrongfully charged amount, it would be a straightforward solution, especially considering my fixed income.

I have been attempting to cancel my Kindle subscription for three months now. Three months ago, when I initially tried to cancel, the individual I spoke with was unhelpful, rushed, and stern. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but this only escalated the situation. Currently, I am unable to find the app or button on my phone to access Kindle. Curiously, after my initial cancellation request, I noticed a change in my mobile banking app where the $9.99 USD charge with the Kindle description disappeared and was replaced by Amazon services. I was under the impression my subscription had been successfully cancelled, as I no longer saw Kindle withdrawals from my bank account. However, after further investigation with my bank, it was determined that the charges were indeed related to Kindle Pro. I am seeking assistance in recovering the $29.97 charged over the past three months and finally cancelling my subscription. I hope to speak with a more helpful representative to address this issue promptly.

I've written a book titled "Surviving You" by Elishia Xalfa, available in ebook and paperback formats. However, there seems to be an issue with shipping the paperback to Australia. While the website states that it can be shipped, upon attempting to purchase, an error message pops up, stating otherwise. I'm puzzled as to why this is happening and how to resolve it. It's crucial for me, being from Australia, to have this option available. After speaking with various departments about this, I'm looking for the correct solution. One individual mentioned it's "out of stock/unavailable (sold out)," which is confusing since it was recently released and I'm not well-known. Could it really be sold out so quickly? I'm curious about the stocking quantities and how to make it available for shipping to my country.

I accidentally ordered a duplicate book, "The Shadow Killer," which I had already received. I was informed that the original order had been fulfilled earlier. However, a new order was processed, resulting in a second charge. Could you kindly remove the redundant charge from my account? Regarding the text message notification, my phone does not support text messaging. Could you please send any notifications to my email address instead: [redacted]? Thank you.

As a new customer transitioning from CreateSpace, I have a few queries that I would appreciate some help with: 1. I would like to replace the CreateSpace ISBN with my own since my book is not published yet, and I wasn't aware one had been assigned. I was advised to call CreateSpace closer to the publishing stage. 2. There seems to be a margin issue highlighted by the Previewer, but I don't see it. The images intentionally reach the margin as part of the design. My book was created in InDesign, and I tried using Kindle Kids Book Creator, but the upload doesn't accept a mobi file as demonstrated in the tutorial video. 3. I am unsure of the official publisher name to use on the detail page. Should it be CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform as it was filled in automatically during setup? I want to confirm this detail. Thank you for your assistance, Susan A.

Recently, a notification popped up on my Kindle mentioning low memory. Consequently, I logged into my Amazon account and removed around [redacted] books. However, today, when I attempted to proofread a book using the Kindle app on my computer, a message indicating I exceeded the device limit appeared. The message suggests deregistering unused devices or deleting content to resolve the issue. Options to "Cancel" or "Purchase" are provided, hindering access to any programs until a choice is made. Selecting "Purchase" redirected me to an Amazon page displaying a previously deleted book marked as purchased. This forced me to use Force Quit to close the Kindle app before resuming work on my computer. How can I resolve this Cancel/Purchase dilemma and access the book I need without further interruptions?

Hello, I purchased a Kindle Fire last July, and after experiencing charging issues, I bought a new charger from Amazon, but it didn't resolve the problem. The charging port seems broken as it moves. I reached out to Amazon today, but since the warranty expired in August, they were not able to assist me. I am frustrated by this situation. Amazon offered a 15% and then a 25% discount, but I would prefer a replacement device as mine is in excellent condition due to being kept in a case. The issue is not due to any fault of mine. I am a longtime Amazon Prime and Kindle Unlimited subscriber, and I find it unacceptable that I am now unable to read the books I recently purchased. If this matter is not resolved, I will be canceling my memberships. I hope for a satisfactory resolution. Thank you, Sian P.

Hello, I reached out to KDP on Thursday to request a temporary price reduction for my book, "The Mystery of Ruby's Sugar," to $0.00 for a Bookbub featured deal from November 10th to November 12th. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response from KDP. Yesterday, I contacted Author Central and was transferred to KDP. They confirmed that the price was lowered to zero, but it has not been reflected on the site. This situation is concerning as customers are anticipating the discounted price. I urgently need guidance as my international Bookbub promotion starts tomorrow. This issue reflects poorly on Amazon and myself as an author. I appreciate your assistance. Best, R.E./D.

Dear KDP Team, I believe that the book "Knowing Edgar Allan Poe: The Great Tales, With an Introduction by Ch. Baudelaire" by Poe, Edgar (AUTHOR); Valsamis, George (EDITOR) (ID: [redacted]4) is not unique enough and should be removed. Could you please reactivate my account so I can address this issue promptly? Regards, George

I have encountered an issue with my parents' Kindles. My mother unintentionally got stuck in "Alan's Play Time" on her device while trying to share books with my father. She is unable to exit this mode as she does not remember the password, and the hint isn't helpful for us. Despite reaching out to customer service, the suggestions provided were ineffective. They advised resetting the Kindle to default settings, which is not feasible. Additionally, they suggested attempting to enter the wrong password multiple times to trigger a prompt to change it, but this has not occurred. I am seeking guidance on how to reset the password under these circumstances. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am facing an issue with my book "Two Play" not appearing on my bookshelf. The message I received mentions that the search keywords for the book create inaccurate search results and could affect the customer experience. The email advises me to edit the search keywords for my book and any other affected books in my catalog and then resubmit them. I will make the necessary changes to ensure my book can be easily found by customers.

I am currently a college student in the midst of final exams. Unfortunately, due to a family tragedy involving the loss of my niece, I had to leave campus suddenly and now find myself without access to essential course materials. In order to complete my finals remotely, I urgently require access to the ebook "Arabiyyat Al-Nass Part One: An introduction to Arabic." However, due to unexpected expenses related to my niece's funeral, I am unable to afford the ebook at this time. I have reached out to customer service for assistance, as this ebook is crucial for me to pass the course. Despite explaining my situation, I have faced challenges getting the support I need. As a long-time Amazon customer since [redacted] and a loyal Prime subscriber, I am reaching out for help during this difficult time. Your assistance in providing temporary access to the ebook would be greatly appreciated as I navigate this challenging situation. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Miss H.
