A few months ago, I lost access to my Instagram account because I forgot my password. My account got disabled for alleged boosting, but I don't use Instagram in that way nor do I have any posts on my account to boost. It was initially disabled in late May, and despite the promise that it would be reactivated by June 5th, it has remained disabled for an additional two weeks. Currently, the message is stating my account will continue to be disabled until July. I attempted to change my password as a precaution in case my account details were compromised, but I am unsure why this issue persists.

Earlier this week, someone hacked into my account and managed to kick me out. Thankfully, I was able to remove their account and email from mine. However, they keep trying to access it. Last night, I got an email supposedly from Instagram saying they were sorry I forgot my password and providing a link to reset it. I did not request this reset and I am concerned about the security of my account.

I tried to create a new IG account, but I encountered an issue when trying to set a password. Despite attempting with three different available names, each time I reached the password creation step, an error prevented me from proceeding. Upon trying to restart the process using the same usernames, the system indicated they were no longer available. I was unable to finalize the account creation due to the recurring error at the password setting stage.

Last year, my Instagram account was disabled, and I diligently filled out all the necessary forms for account restoration through Instagram helpdesk. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from them, and my account remains disabled. It was a private account with around 40-50 followers, containing only photos of myself. I did not share anything that could have violated their policies. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could address my concerns and assist me with this matter at Instagram.
