Hello Instagram community, I recently messaged someone named Brooke Tatum five years ago. Initially, we had a conversation, but eventually, she blocked me. Unfortunately, it seems my account was compromised as she is now using my pictures and those of my friends on her Instagram without permission. I kindly request urgent assistance in having her account removed promptly. There was unauthorized activity on my Facebook and Instagram accounts, resulting in messages being sent to Brooke without my knowledge. Upon realizing this, I asked Brooke to delete the pictures not sent by me, but she blocked me instead. Please, your help in this matter is crucial. Thank you.

Unfortunately, my Instagram account has been hacked. The hacker has altered the email address, password, and added their own two-factor authentication. They are currently impersonating me on the account, attempting to deceive others by selling counterfeit products. My account, dedicated to my crocheting business/hobby, lacks sufficient photos of my face for the video-selfie authentication to be effective. I am seeking guidance on the steps I should take to address this issue. The hacker has been continuously sending threatening messages via text and demanding money. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, My Instagram account has been compromised. A Russian user is showing up. I am unable to reset the password, and the code seems to be sent to the Russian email. There was also an attempted login from Zurich. Please delete the account and open a new one. Thank you, J-L Debionne

Hello, I recently received a notification stating that my account has been temporarily blocked due to logging in on similar sites. The issue seems to be linked to an app I use to track my followers. However, the message mentions sending an activation code to an outdated email address that may have been deleted due to changes in the domain ownership over the years. The email address displayed is a*****@***.*g, which does not ring a bell as I created my account over 9 years ago and do not recall the exact email I used back then. I am unable to switch to a different email address for the activation code. Typically, I log in through Facebook or with my username and password, so I am uncertain about the email associated with my account. My account is personal with less than [redacted] followers, mostly friends from school. I am not an influencer and do not earn any money through my account. I simply enjoy chatting with friends and browsing memes, a routine I have upheld for the past decade. I sincerely hope to regain access to my account without causing any harm since there are no financial implications. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. My Instagram account has been compromised. I am currently attempting to reclaim it by submitting a video selfie. However, I am encountering an issue with receiving the verification code via email to proceed with the video submission. Despite trying multiple email addresses numerous times and updating the app, the code is not being delivered to my inbox. I am also being bombarded by continuous calls and messages from various Nigerian numbers, falsely claiming to be Instagram representatives. They are coercing me to verify my identity and making threats about deleting my account. I am feeling overwhelmed and frustrated as I have exhausted all efforts to resolve this situation.

Eventually, I was locked out of my account due to a security alert claiming I had shared my password with a third-party service for likes or followers, which goes against the Community Guidelines. I attempted to reset my password but couldn't remember my old one, and the page asking for my email or phone number flashed too quickly for me to enter any details. This cycle has been ongoing for a month now despite my efforts to regain access by changing both my Instagram and Facebook passwords. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter. I recently had my Instagram account of nearly 10 years disabled due to a "violation of terms." Despite having thoroughly reviewed the guidelines before and after the disabling, I am confident that I did not breach any rules. For approximately two years, I had been using a third-party app (which complies with Instagram's policies) to plan my feed layout before posting. However, after logging into my account on a new device, I was notified of the account's deactivation by Instagram. I have submitted multiple appeals, along with photo verifications as requested in response to the appeal forms via email, but it has been over a month with no response. This account is not only personal but also vital for my career as a model, as it serves as a platform for promotion and networking. I am hopeful that Instagram or someone else will address this wrongful deactivation and restore access to my account containing important messages, contacts, and photos.

Through it, I've connected with new friends and stayed in touch with important classmates. Yet, I recently noticed that my IG account got temporarily suspended, suggesting a possible hack, requiring an identity verification process. Hello, Yesterday, on August 19th, my Instagram account (@3n20.sd) was hacked, and I followed the necessary steps to recover it and reset my password so the hacker couldn't access my account anymore. The only issue: The person who hacked my account activated two-factor authentication even though it wasn't set up on my Instagram account. This means that while I could reset my Instagram password, when I try to log in, the password is correct, but since the hacker set up two-factor authentication, I can't log in because I don't have the codes since they are not being sent to me, as the hacker is the one who set it up. I am reaching out for help to recover this valuable Instagram account to me because there are important conversations with people who are no longer with me today. Instagram disabled my ability to monetize for allegedly posting fake news, which I vehemently deny. I feel the punishment is excessive. My account was disabled due to a post about blue bananas. Instagram claims it's fake news because the bananas aren't entirely blue. They also accused me of "bullying" when I was just defending myself against a bully. Despite others posting worse content without consequences, they seem to target me. My account status indicates I may lose it if I don't adhere to their terms of service, which I believe I do. An incident with a pet monkey where I referred to it as a monkey got flagged as bullying, which feels unjust.

Hello Instagram team, My name is Svetlana Šlapak, also known as Sumi, an albino model from Serbia. My Instagram account @albinogirl was disabled by your team for alleged violations of community guidelines, which I disagree with. I followed the process for disabled accounts on your help center, but after submitting a photo with a code as requested, my new account @sumialbino with 164k followers was also shut down. I created a new account @sumi_albino, but it was deactivated after just 2 days, despite not violating any guidelines with my only post. Instagram is crucial for my business, and I have numerous newspaper articles featuring my work. I hope the team can restore my original account @albinogirl and address the issues with my subsequent accounts, or at least allow me the opportunity to create a new one. I am deeply disappointed and considering legal action against the company.

Unfortunately, we suspect that Rianca's account has been compromised due to her use of unfamiliar Wifi networks. I was able to obtain the name and email address of the hacker, Doàn AnhSón, from the business manager notifications. It's important to note that this individual has no association with our business. I recently started using an app to track unfollowers on Instagram. However, upon logging into Instagram, I discovered that my account was temporarily locked and I was asked to verify myself via email, which I no longer have access to. I tried the "request help" option through the "forgot password" page and was informed that I could receive a log-in link via a new email address after following certain verification procedures. I've been struggling to reach out to Instagram for assistance with a technical issue. My partner's account was mistakenly suspended for supposedly being underage due to harassment from someone trying to get it taken down.
