On February 2nd, [redacted], at approximately 6am IST, I temporarily disabled my account. Prior to this, I could access my account without any issues. However, upon trying to log in again, I encounter an obstacle at the 2FA stage. After inputting the verification code from the Authy authenticator app, Instagram displays an error message stating: "ERROR: 'An unknown network error has occurred.'" with a "DISMISS" button. Unfortunately, the process does not proceed beyond this point. Furthermore, I do not see an option to log in using 2-step authentication via text message OTP or email OTP.

I attempted to access my Instagram account and encountered a temporary lock. Despite trying to log in through various methods such as Facebook, SMS, and email, I have been unsuccessful. I reached out to Instagram for help, but the suggestions provided did not resolve the issue. Each time I try to recover my account using a new number, I am redirected to a page requesting a verification code that I am unable to receive. Despite setting up a recovery number, the process fails repeatedly. This situation has left me feeling disheartened as I am still unable to regain access to my Instagram account.

A few days ago, I suspected my Instagram account was hacked because it started following over [redacted] accounts without my consent. I promptly changed my password, but now I'm facing issues unfollowing those accounts and liking posts. Every time I try, I receive the message "We restrict certain activity to protect our community." It's been over a week, and I'm still encountering the same problem. I would appreciate any assistance with this issue.

Hello, My account (cr7.clips) was deactivated without any reason. I did not violate Instagram Community Guidelines. It seems that someone reported my account multiple times, leading to its automatic disablement. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I believe someone has hacked into my accounts, and I am desperate to recover them. Both of my Instagram usernames were "emma.here.x" and "emmla_spamm." I am located in Scotland. My email address associated with the accounts is "[redacted]" My full name is Emma Sinclair. My mobile number is [redacted]6, and my date of birth is November 25, [redacted]. I urgently need help to regain access to these accounts as I have all my important photos and videos stored there.

My account (s.lin76) was compromised by hackers. They have altered my email from [redacted] to [redacted] Unfortunately, during the email change confirmation process, I wasn't provided with a method to reverse or decline the email modification. Moreover, they have changed my password and phone number, preventing me from receiving a login link. I attempted to validate my identity using my original email, [redacted], but encountered an error message. Additionally, I tried to submit a video of myself, yet I lack sufficient pictures on my profile to undergo the verification process. I seek assistance in regaining access to my account.

Hello, My Instagram account with the username alina_puzikova_ has been deactivated. When attempting to log in, it displays "user not found." I have not received any response from technical support or any email to the address provided upon registration. Since January 31, [redacted], I have been unable to access my account. When trying to search for my account from another page, it shows "account not found," but if I try to register with the same name, it states that the user already exists. I believe I have not violated any community guidelines, engaged in unusual activity, or had my account compromised. Hello, yesterday evening I encountered an issue. I received a notification to confirm my account. I am unable to do so as the phone number listed there is outdated. I have not changed my password at all. The profile name is bluhgangmemb. I can only recover it through a number. When I try the second recovery option, an error appears. The old number was +[redacted]08. How can I update my phone number to a new one?

Hello Instagram, I'm Petra, the owner of the "pepa0058" account. Recently, a friend asked for my number for account verification. I innocently shared it with them. Despite marking it as "this was me," my account was hijacked by "oh_praise_bingus_," who changed my email to "[redacted]" I tried to regain access, but they removed my number. One of my friends had their account hacked, and I fell victim to the same scam when they messaged me for assistance resetting the password. Unfortunately, the hackers changed the phone number associated with my account, obstructing any attempts to reset it. Since I didn't have an email linked to my account, I couldn't receive any authentication emails to confirm the changes made. Instagram mentions a "need more help" option on their help screen, including a possible video selfie authentication method, but I'm lost on how to navigate to that section. I've come to terms with potentially losing access to my account. The most frustrating part is despite my efforts to report the account, Instagram hasn't taken action. I had two accounts, and the hacked one messaged me with an ultimatum. I'm seeking assistance either retrieving or deleting the account, as reporting it hasn't resulted in any progress with Instagram clearing it despite my reports.

Two months ago, my account was hacked, and the hacker changed my email and phone number, making it impossible for me to receive any password reset emails because the account is now linked to the hacker's information. My username "micksmas" was changed to "micksmas21," which now contains all my photos and personal items. I am currently struggling to recover my account. Despite my efforts to report the issue to the support team, they are no longer providing assistance. I am determined to regain access to my account, but I am unaware of the password set by the hacker.

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my account as it has been hacked. Unfortunately, I did not enable two-factor authentication. Every time I attempt to log in by entering my username on the forgot password page, Instagram sends a link to my email to regain access; however, it then prompts for a login code sent to the hacker’s phone number to proceed. Although I have already reset my password by following the link in the email, I am still unable to log in due to the lack of knowledge of the login code sent to the hacker’s phone number. The username for the compromised account is @bloomwu_. Could you please help me change the hacker’s phone number to my own phone number (+86 [redacted]2) so that I can regain access? Last night, my main Instagram account was hacked and all my information was changed. The account, BONECRUSHER_QUEEN - Freedom for Lions, was used to educate about preserving the wild lion population. With over 2,[redacted] followers, I share photos and facts to raise awareness about wildlife conservation. Unfortunately, the hackers have now posted inappropriate content on the account. Despite my efforts to report the issue, I was informed that nothing can be done to retrieve it. I am devastated that my hard work and dedication can be taken away so easily. I request either the account be saved or terminated to prevent further misuse. The personal photo on the profile is my trademark, and I have the username of the person who hacked it. Last week, my business Instagram account @kfrbs was hacked, and the hacker changed the account name and email address. The account had over twenty thousand followers, and despite my attempts, I haven't been able to verify my identity or recover the account following Instagram's instructions. I've tried everything and even had others help, but nothing has worked. The help center just leads me in circles without providing any solutions. I've created a backup account and had hundreds of people report the hacked page, but it remains active. This incident has caused me to lose eighty percent of my monthly income as an independent artist, leading to homelessness due to the financial impact. It's frustrating not being able to speak to a real person for assistance. The hack occurred on Friday, February 4th.

Hello, I am still unsure why my Instagram account, fernando191942, was blocked. As I mentioned, that account has had little to no activity for a long time, with no more than 10 posts from me. I am not sure what I did wrong other than not using it actively. This is affecting me because that account was linked to my Facebook account, which is also blocked. Many things were linked to my Facebook account that I can no longer access. I reiterate that my Instagram account has been inactive on my part; if something happened to it, like being hacked, I am unaware. Please understand that I am nearly 50 years old and do not engage in inappropriate behavior online. If you believe that deleting the Instagram account is necessary, please do so, but allow me access to my Facebook account. I await your response.

Currently on the 2nd day, my Bonecrusher_Queen account is not under my control as the person who hacked it is now running a scam promising $[redacted] to find a hidden number, similar to how I was scammed. This person is using my account with 2,[redacted] followers to deceive others interested in Lion Conservation. The scam is ongoing on my Bonecrusher_Queen account, offering cash rewards through Cash App for finding the number. I am deeply troubled by this situation as my account was crucial for coping with my depression, and now I am facing distressing thoughts. I urge for assistance in either retrieving my account or permanently deleting it to prevent further scams and protect my work. Thank you for your help.
