On Tuesday, April 24th, I noticed an unexpected change with my Hulu Plus Beta (Live TV) in Marion, IL. Suddenly, my live TV location switched to Arizona without my authorization. This has caused a significant issue as Arizona is two hours behind Illinois, affecting the timing of my live TV shows. I rely on Hulu Live for my TV needs and the sudden time difference is inconvenient. For instance, programs like Monday Night Raw now air two hours later than usual. Local news channels are also now broadcasting Phoenix, Arizona news instead. I contacted Hulu tech support at 1-[redacted] on Wednesday, April 25th at 6:23 pm (Central Time) and spoke with a representative for 27 minutes. While she was polite, unfortunately, she couldn't resolve the problem, leaving me frustrated. I prefer to continue using Hulu, but if this issue persists, I may have to switch to another live TV streaming service. I stream Hulu on an Apple TV box and a Firestick on separate TVs.

I recently had to open a new bank account and get a new debit card due to unauthorized transactions. After updating my payment information with most of the services I use, I contacted Hulu to switch my payments to the new debit card. However, when I called customer service, they requested my previous account number which I no longer have access to. Other services I reached out to were able to update my payment method without this information, so I was hoping Hulu could do the same. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide the old account number as the bank removed it for security reasons. If it's absolutely necessary, please let me know how to proceed, otherwise, I would appreciate it if my account could be updated with the new details provided.

I am seeking a refund and request to cancel my account. Despite thinking I had already canceled it, my bank statements consistently show multiple charges with varying amounts each month. If necessary, I am prepared to take legal action to ensure these charges are refunded. I have not been using the service as I believed it was successfully canceled three months ago. If my cancellation was not processed as requested, I am willing to escalate this matter legally. I plan to share my negative Hulu experience publicly if the refund process is not resolved promptly. I would like to update the birth year on my account, as my mother is the primary user. Hulu's system does not allow me to make this simple edit, which is frustrating. If the birth year cannot be changed, why display it at all? It is essential to provide clear explanations for such limitations to customers. The inability to access the "help" page on multiple devices, networks, and browsers further adds to my dissatisfaction. Clicking on the "help" link only leads to a constant refreshing glitch, which is disappointing. I expect better service considering I am a paying customer.

I attempted to use Hulu while in Mexico, but unfortunately, I was unable to access any shows despite being billed multiple times without noticing. I have since canceled my account. If possible, could I kindly request a refund for at least one of my payments as a gesture of goodwill? It would truly assist me, considering the oversight on my part. I signed up for a Hulu free trial intending to cancel before it ended to avoid the high cost. Unfortunately, I missed the cancellation deadline. Even though I have been charged $11.99 and can no longer access Hulu, I am requesting a refund as it has only been a day since the charge was made.

I have been using my Samsung Blu-ray DVD player to watch Hulu on my Samsung TV for a long time. Recently, I received a message saying "Hulu plus is no longer compatible with your device, Sorry" without any further explanation. I prefer watching Hulu on my TV and don't want to use other devices like my iPad or computer. I mainly watch TV through Hulu, so I'm quite frustrated with this development. After reaching out to Samsung, I was informed that Hulu plus is currently undergoing maintenance. I would appreciate it if Hulu could provide more details directly to customers, as it is disappointing to find out this way. I hope this compatibility issue can be resolved soon, as I would rather not cancel my Hulu subscription if possible.

I signed up for a free trial to compare services with YoutubeRed and Netflix since we stopped paying for cable. Netflix and YoutubeRed clearly communicated their trial lengths and sent reminder emails before charging, unlike Hulu. Due to an internet outage in Turlock, CA, I couldn't cancel Hulu in time, and this morning I was charged $39.99 for a month. I am disappointed with Hulu's lack of transparency, I won't be using them as my main provider. I never received an email about my trial ending, and the trial length wasn't clear. I prefer companies that are upfront. Although I cancelled this morning, I request a refund. Hulu should consider my situation, as my account shows minimal usage during the trial.

I am having trouble with Hulu claiming my account is on "vacation" and being unable to bill my Mastercard. After speaking with a customer service agent who falsely blamed my bank for not accepting recurring charges, I contacted my bank who assured me they process auto payments regularly. Hulu then mentioned a supposed issue with Mastercard users and suggested setting up an account with a different card or through PayPal. Since I only have one card, I am left unsure about the PayPal option and how to update my payment method with Hulu. According to my bank, they have not received any charging attempts from Hulu, and they confirmed they would accept the payment if Hulu tried to charge the account.

We are dissatisfied with the service we have received. The customer service has been unhelpful, and it seems like the company does not uphold its promises online. Due to these reasons, we have decided to cancel our services. The representatives we have interacted with have not been supportive and often dismiss our concerns. It appears that customer service is solely focused on profits rather than satisfying customers. Furthermore, we have encountered issues with the survey feedback process, as it indicates we have already submitted feedback when we have not. It is frustrating that we are unable to provide our honest feedback when we have genuinely not participated in any survey.

About a year ago, I had no issues with your signal, and streaming was fast. Lately, I'm experiencing constant "retrieving" messages and poor performance. This seems to be a widespread issue as I found numerous complaints on a Consumer Affairs board online. During a chat with your technician, I was advised to check my upload and download speeds along with the latency rate, which was apparently too high at [redacted] for Hulu. However, this explanation doesn't seem plausible to me as other streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, and even Pluto TV work just fine. It appears like some changes have been made on your end leading to this decline in service quality. Unless the signal improves significantly as it was before, I might have to consider canceling. Please address this matter via email.

For the past 3 years, without fail, on the 5th of every month, HULU has processed my monthly payment through PayPal. However, this July 5th, [redacted], the payment didn't go through. HULU claimed it was PayPal's fault, yet upon calling PayPal, they mentioned they never received any request for payment from HULU. My bank and card are all fine, as confirmed by the bank. Despite this, HULU insists the issue is not on their end. They suggested I use a different card or provide them with my card details directly, bypassing PayPal, which I declined as I prefer using PayPal. To my surprise, they then canceled my subscription altogether. It's disappointing that HULU would push away a loyal customer just because I wish to continue using PayPal. It seems like an odd business practice to lose customers over a payment method preference.

For the last three years, Hulu has been consistently paid through PayPal on the 5th of each month, except this July 5th. Hulu abruptly canceled my subscription, claiming PayPal refused payment. When I contacted PayPal, they had no record of a payment request being denied. Hulu then blamed my bank, but my bank confirmed they didn't block PayPal transactions. Hulu requested my card details for direct billing, insisting PayPal was unreliable. I preferred PayPal, but Hulu refused and terminated my subscription. Despite Hulu's claims, PayPal worked fine for another purchase. It's disappointing how Hulu handled this situation, jeopardizing customer loyalty over payment methods.

In the past 24 hours, I have been facing an issue with my Hulu account. Whenever I log in, I am prompted to "start my free trial," despite having had a subscription for many months. After going through the email recovery process successfully, I attempted to log in again. This time, I could select a profile, but upon choosing my own profile, the page froze. Despite trying to log in and out multiple times after recovering my email, I am unable to progress beyond the "pick your profile" page as Hulu stops responding. Prior to this, I also noticed that whenever I tried to view my account page to check my subscription details, the page would appear blank without showing any information. I attempted to access it every few days, but it consistently remained blank. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I initially signed up for the free trial on Hulu which was supposed to charge me $11.99. Subsequently, I opted for the 1-week Live TV trial but couldn't find a way to cancel it without closing my account entirely. Unlike Netflix, where you can cancel and continue watching, Hulu requires you to keep it pending to access what you paid for. This process has left me unsatisfied, and I advise against using Hulu due to the inconvenience of canceling subscriptions and accessing paid content.

I had a Hulu account that I cancelled after 5/20/17, but I recently noticed charges on my account from 9/12/17, 10/12/17, and consistently from 2/4/18 to 7/4/18 totaling $8.57 each. The irregular billing dates concern me, and although I acknowledge the oversight from [redacted], I would like to request a refund for the six months I was mistakenly charged after cancelling. I assumed my card information would be removed upon cancellation. I am hoping for a refund of $51.41, which would be $68.53 if the two charges from [redacted] can also be refunded. I have been experiencing issues with my local stations on Hulu. Initially, after signing up, my "local" channels were correctly set to Cleveland. However, they suddenly switched to Pittsburgh. After reaching out to Hulu and Windstream, it was suggested that I needed a static IP address from Windstream to maintain the Cleveland channels. Despite obtaining the static IP, my local channels then changed to Baltimore after a couple of weeks. Windstream acknowledged the issue but was unable to provide a solution. They directed me to a web address to check my IP location which indicated that my signal was coming from Chestertown, Maryland and later Pittsburgh. When Windstream couldn't resolve the problem, I filed a complaint with the FCC. Windstream claims the problem is related to Hulu's GEO location and not the static IP address. I am unsure about GEO location but would appreciate an explanation and a resolution to the issue, whether it's related to Windstream or GEO location.

I received an email offering me a free trial from [redacted] I signed up using my credit card information, and it confirmed a free trial month with no payment. However, when I tried to log in to the Hulu app, it asked for $11.99 despite approving the free month. I recently received this phone from a friend and need help resolving this issue.

Hi there! Recently, my Hulu subscription renewed after the trial period ended following a hold. Since I won't be using Hulu for a while, I would like to cancel or pause the subscription.
