I live in Cape Coral and was in need of a generator after Hurricane Ian. I drove to Boca Raton with my son-in-law and purchased a Ryobi [redacted] Generator at Home Depot in Pompano, Florida. Upon returning to Cape Coral, I encountered a problem with one of the GFI outputs that was not tripping. Despite this issue, I had to use it until power was restored. Due to various engagements, the generator remained in my garage until I returned from New York in November.
After contacting Ryobi, they advised taking the generator to Home Depot for repairs, which was confirmed by my local Home Depot on Pine Island Road. I managed to transport it to Home Depot on January 9th for repairs, only to be informed in March that they would no longer be handling customer repairs. They provided a refund and loaded the generator into my vehicle. I requested a refund from customer service, which required approval from the manager due to the unit's cost. Despite the delay, the manager cited the company's 30-day return policy. If they could keep the unit for two months, why enforce a 30-day return policy? My husband and I have been patiently waiting for our master bedroom carpet installation since early January this year. However, despite numerous attempts to inquire about the status of our order at the Kona store, we have faced delays and excuses. We have paid in full, provided measurements, and await the carpet installation. While I'm considering going to Lowe's due to the ongoing delays, my husband wants to give your store another chance. Hello,
Last May, we bought a sliding glass door from Home Depot. We noticed immediately that the lock wasn't functioning, so we contacted the manufacturer. They claimed it was an installation mistake and refused a refund. The company that installed the door confirmed it was put in correctly. Now, the blinds on one side of the door have malfunctioned. This is frustrating after spending so much money on the door and installation, only to have it fail in less than a year. Ideally, we'd like a refund, replacement, and reinstallation. Any assistance with this matter would be appreciated.

I want to recognize an exceptional employee, LaShanna, from the resolutions team. Our experience with the purchase of a Samsung BESPOKE refrigerator has been a rollercoaster. Initially promised in January, then delayed to February and finally to March 16th, the fridge arrived shattered. Dealing with Home Depot's unhelpful customer service was frustrating, but LaShanna stepped in as our savior. Despite being disconnected several times during the call, she tirelessly worked for an hour and a half to secure the last available same-color refrigerator at our original price. I placed an order for a stain on March 12th. I was informed the order would be ready by March 14th and to call to confirm. When I called, the automated message stated it wasn't ready and I'd receive a call when it was. After not hearing back in a week, I visited the store and discovered the order wasn't ready. Requested the manager to call me to ensure the order was on track. The manager called, claiming they didn't have the material and needed to cancel the order. I suggested splitting it into two orders, but he declined. He canceled the order without helping further, and when I requested a refund, he said someone else would assist. Upon visiting the store for the refund, they offered 10% less and provided a store credit after a long wait. The manager, Everton, declined to share his last name. On 3/28/23, I made transactions at HD, Los Colobos, Carolina, PR. I wish to share my positive experience with the exceptional employees I encountered during my visit. Their outstanding customer service, empathy, product knowledge, and teamwork were truly impressive. The employees named SOLANGE, E. VELEZ, JESÚS, NEFTALI, ROBERT, TAMARA, WESLEY, and VIAN deserve recognition for their excellent public relations skills.
Despite this, I faced challenges when contacting customer service as my call was disconnected multiple times without a resolution. I hope to find a platform to formally commend these exceptional individuals who made a difference during my visit. Additionally, I encountered difficulties completing the survey online.

About a year ago, I purchased red paint from the Home Depot store in MWC, Oklahoma. I explained that I needed it for painting my outside entryway pipe fence and gate, even showing phone photos of what I needed. Recently, I noticed that the paint had chalked, which was unexpected as it had not even been a year since I painted. Upon consulting with the paint department manager named Davidson, I learned that the Behr paint I bought was actually interior paint, not exterior as I was informed. This mistake has led to the paint issues I am experiencing. I had meticulously prepped the metal fence before painting, so the only solution now is to sandblast it and redo the painting process. Despite feeling frustrated, I appreciate Davidson’s help in providing a discount on the correct paint for the gate. I believe Home Depot should cover the costs of sandblasting and the necessary paint to rectify this error. It is disappointing to have put in so much effort only to have to redo the entire project due to misinformation about the type of paint I purchased.

Hello, I placed an order #[redacted] for a pressure washer. I used a $50 gift card and my Home Depot credit card. The order was cancelled, and I received the refund within 24 hours. However, the gift card now has a zero balance, and I was supposed to receive a replacement. I was informed that I needed to go to the store for the new gift card as they couldn't refund it another way. The store is 35 miles away. Why couldn't the card or a coupon be sent to me or processed at a local Home Depot? The store manager confirmed a replacement card is available, but it must be collected in person. I placed an order #WE[redacted]6 on April 3, [redacted], for a pressure washer. I used a $50 gift card and my Home Depot card for the remaining balance. The order had an issue and was canceled. Although the money on my account was not charged, the gift card was. To get a refund for the gift card, I was informed that I need to go to the Home Depot store where the order was processed, which is 35 miles away. I would appreciate it if I could receive the funds owed to me through an emailed or mailed gift card, instead of having to go to the store. I'm having trouble receiving my package. I am disabled and requested delivery to the front door, but it was left near the garage instead. I kindly ask for all future packages to be brought to the front door due to my disability. Making this change would greatly help me, allowing me to shop at HOME DEPOT more frequently. I recently bought a kitchen faucet with a chrome finish, but realized I actually needed the same style with a nickel-plated finish. Despite being assured I could exchange it for the higher-priced item, I encountered issues. I discovered that although I paid with my debit card, they insisted on store credit only for the return. This limitation frustrated me as I prefer the flexibility of having the money returned to my debit card rather than being restricted to spending it only in their store. I'd appreciate it if they could refund the money back to my debit card to give me the freedom to use it as I see fit.

The store on Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs, Florida has the filthiest restrooms I have ever encountered. Additionally, there is a chronic shortage of cashiers, with only a few self-checkout lanes operational. I recently waited over twenty minutes in line, which is a common occurrence with sometimes more than twenty people waiting. Many of my friends now prefer going to Lowe's due to similar complaints. The current situation is not only frustrating but also driving customers away. It's time to address these issues and improve the management for the benefit of all.

My husband attempted to redeem a Home Depot coupon sent in the mail for the second time, but was denied both times. The first instance, an associate claimed it could only be used on the next purchase, which was confusing. Today, another associate scanned it but mentioned it couldn't be accepted, despite the dates being valid and everything appearing in order. My husband holds both commercial and consumer account cards and had planned to spend a significant amount on his purchase, but due to the inconvenience, he opted to shop at Lowes where he found a more favorable deal. We are puzzled as to why these coupons are mailed out if they are not going to be honored.

I made a purchase in the store and noticed the price was not accurate. Upon checking the website, I found out the clerk ordered the wrong item. I reside in Detroit, MI, and recently contacted the Home Depot at 7 Mile and Meyers regarding plastering and wall repairs. While setting up my appointment for Wednesday, 5/10/23, I inquired about the representative wearing a mask and shoe covers. Unfortunately, the representative declined to wear a mask stating it was not their policy and advised me to reschedule with someone else. As a Registered Nurse, I am aware of the ongoing risks of Covid-19 transmission even with the lifting of restrictions. I am concerned about Home Depot's policy on mask-wearing. I have another appointment scheduled for kitchen flooring where workers agreed to wear masks. Hoping for your guidance. Thank you.
