On the evening of 5/16, I placed an order online for 2 planters for $[redacted].46 using my American Express card. The following morning, I went to the local store and bought 2 of the same planters, paying with my bank debit card (I know, not the smartest move!). When I got back home, I tried to cancel the initial order, but it was still pending. Eventually, the shipment was canceled; however, my card was already charged. Is there a way to refund the initial payment since I never received the order, but it was charged to my American Express card? Please let me know if you can assist.

In February, we returned a washer and dryer that were purchased and delivered on February 14th. We scheduled the return as the new tenant wanted to use their own appliances. Despite a canceled first attempt due to snowy weather, the pick-up was successful. However, the refund hasn't been processed, and after contacting card services, I spoke to a helpful agent at Home Depot. The credit for $[redacted].64 on #[redacted]3 and an additional $67.78 on [redacted]3 has not yet shown on our credit card. We've been working with the store and the credit card company to resolve this issue, but we're encountering difficulties with the credit card company. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

On May 17, [redacted], I purchased mulch at the Military Highway store in Norfolk, VA. I requested 15 bags of Scotts Earthgro brown mulch, but the associate suggested Vigor brown mulch as it was 5 for $10 and claimed it was the same. Unfortunately, the Vigor mulch turned out to be of poor quality, resembling chopped sticks or even pallets. It looks awful on my garden paths. I will have to wait for it to degrade to cover it with Scotts mulch. The advice was misleading, and the product disappointing. There's not much I can do at the moment, but it's important for someone to be aware of the significant difference between the two products. Ticket number: [redacted], purchase made at 11:32 AM. - S.A.

On Saturday, I visited the Delano, CA store to look for wall tiles but they did not have them, so I was directed to the Porterville, CA store. At the Porterville store, I purchased tiles, varnish stain paint, and redheads. My wife wanted to buy two pallets of gallons at 23 cents per paver brick. Despite our efforts at the service desk around 9 am, the staff struggled to place the order correctly. They mistakenly tried to fill the order at the Delano store instead of the Porterville store. Despite informing them that the products were available in Porterville, they did not thoroughly check. After spending 3 hours trying to place the order without success, we ultimately left around 12:30 pm. I have faced similar issues before but this experience led me to choose Lowe's, which efficiently fulfilled my order and matched the price. Best regards, Marco Camacho.

I have submitted a complaint to your phone support twice in the past few weeks. This seems to be a recurring issue for me each year of my residency here. It is crucial for managers to be trained to identify safety hazards. I suggest conducting monthly checks both inside and outside the store. The main concern is the obstructed view when exiting the store; visibility to the left for oncoming cars in the drive in front of the store is limited. This poses a significant safety risk as pedestrians leaving the store may not be visible to drivers. It is imperative that there be nothing obstructing the view for the safety of all.

The Manteca, CA Home Depot is currently facing staffing challenges, similar to many other stores. The increased reliance on self-checkout has led to a reduction in staff numbers. This trend is causing concern as more people are out of work, impacting both the ability to shop in these stores and the overall customer experience. This shift towards self-service may lead customers, like myself, to explore alternative shopping options due to lengthy wait times. Despite the cost-saving measures, there seems to be no noticeable reduction in prices. It appears that the focus may be on catering to shareholders rather than prioritizing consumers and employees.

I require assistance with my [redacted] H2O heater and its warranty. I purchased it from two separate stores due to a computer problem at the first store. I possess a copy of the receipt. The water heater failed almost two weeks ago due to a tank leak. Rheem/GE acknowledged that the tank is covered by warranty under Case #[redacted]. The problem lies with the labor warranty. Attempts to contact Assurion and AIG through Home Depot have been unsuccessful as they cannot locate any records to provide coverage. Dealing with this issue has been time-consuming. It seems challenging to find competent help. How much longer do I have to go without hot water due to Home Depot's record-keeping problems? I am seeking a human representative who can help resolve this situation. Thank you.

On Saturday, June 3rd, I ordered 30 bags of mulch for pick up, but when my husband arrived at the Paramus Home Depot, the order was not ready as indicated. The associate in the landscape department directed him to the mulch piles and suggested that he retrieve the bags himself. Despite being there at 6pm, no one offered to assist with loading the bags, leaving us disappointed with the lack of customer service. As senior citizens, having to lift the bags without help was unacceptable. We have been loyal customers for years and hope this issue can be addressed for better service in the future.

During my 15-year tenure at The Home Depot, I began as a cashier and advanced to various roles such as Returns Lead, Customer Service Manager, and Department Manager for Home Decor and Paint. I handled tasks like Inventory Management, Receiving, supervised the Shrink and Safety Team, and engaged in community service projects like Christmas in April and building ramps for the disabled. I even excelled in the cashier Olympics and was rewarded with a night at Tinsel Town and a red carpet limo ride. I received extensive training both in-store and corporate settings and traveled for additional training. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship at Strayer University, I aim to transfer credits based on my Home Depot training history. Any assistance in this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I made an online purchase on June 8, [redacted], for a Traeger Pellet Grill 22 Pro Series. The order included assembly and next-day delivery initially scheduled for June 9. Due to the unavailability of Friday delivery, it was rescheduled for June 12. Home Depot called on June 11, rescheduling delivery to June 14 due to assembly delays. After contacting customer service and the store manager, Eddie at the Burleson Home Depot, it was mentioned that assembly staff wouldn't be in until later, causing a delay. Despite the option of purchasing the displayed grill, it was rejected due to possible damage. Disappointed by the prolonged delivery time, I decided to cancel my order. Instead, I bought the same grill from Fort Worth or Cleburne Home Depot, where it was available for same-day purchase and delivery. Eddie's handling of the situation was unsatisfactory as she failed to explore alternative options or find a solution promptly.

Order #H2[redacted]13 We recently purchased cabinets and a countertop from the store. When discussing the materials with the sales representative, Tina, we made it clear that we did not want any particle board in the cabinets and expressed our concerns about this. We initially thought the maple we ordered was for the entire cabinet construction, but later learned it was only for the front. Despite being fine with this, we were surprised to find out that having the cabinets made with plywood instead of particle board would cost an extra $[redacted]. This added expense was not communicated to us at the beginning, which has been frustrating given the issues we've encountered with the cabinets. The delivery process has also been troublesome, with lack of communication and multiple rescheduling situations. We were disappointed to find out that the cabinets delivered were made from particle board, despite our specifications. We have been in touch with Annette at Home Depot, but the resolution process has been slow and unresponsive. We are now requesting a total refund as we no longer wish to shop at Home Depot due to these ongoing issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter. LeAnn H.

I recently purchased a shed from Home Depot and requested delivery when I could be present to sign. However, the delivery was made without our consent while we were not home. The shed, which was very heavy, was lifted by one person up five steps and ended up damaging our porch post. Despite having a camera recording the incident, the footage is automatically deleted after two weeks. I have been going back and forth with Home Depot, but it has been challenging to reach someone from Sedgwick, waiting on hold for almost an hour without success. This whole situation has been incredibly stressful due to the lack of communication and accountability. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the experience and will not be making any future purchases from Home Depot.

I had a disappointing experience doing an exchange at the store in West Ocean City. We bought a ceiling fan in May but needed to exchange it for a "flush fan" without a down rod. My husband brought the unopened box with the receipt to explain that our PNC credit card expired, but we had a new one with the same account. The worker and manager refused the return or exchange due to the expired card, citing Home Depot's policy. Frustrated, my husband left the fan with all the paperwork inside and vowed not to shop at Home Depot again. This situation of a never-used item, along with both credit card and original receipts, being declined for an exchange is unacceptable. It's incidents like this that make me understand why companies like Amazon are dominating the market. I'm seeking a resolution to this matter.

On July 2, [redacted], I am deeply frustrated and upset by the ongoing incompetence and delays related to my window and door installation project with Home Depot. The agreement was made on May 31, [redacted], yet as of today, July 2, [redacted], the installation remains unfinished. I have recently sent an email detailing the multitude of issues and setbacks we have faced. I would like to know how I can escalate this matter and ensure it reaches the appropriate department for resolution. It's surprising that Home Depot does not have a designated customer service complaint address for direct communication regarding such matters.

I ordered an LG window air conditioner online for store [redacted] and tried to cancel the order when it didn't arrive, but was told I couldn't cancel as it was being shipped from a third party. Instead, I purchased a General Electric air conditioner from the store. Now, Home Depot claims they delivered the LG unit via FedEx to my street address when it was supposed to be a PICK UP order. I haven't received the item. I am requesting a refund for the undelivered air conditioner.

Assurion has been unresponsive to multiple warranty claims for the same product. A Home Depot customer service representative mentioned that Assurion is not cooperating and that their manager might offer assistance, but there has been no follow-up or support. This experience has led me to decide against buying any major appliances from Home Depot in the future. Interestingly, Allstate has been more helpful and responsive compared to Home Depot or Assurion. Sent from my iPhone.

Dear Sir/Madam, I wanted to share my experience with using a $50.00 Home Depot Gift Card I received for Father's Day. At the store in West Little Rock, Arkansas, I purchased 12 bags of Vigoro Brown Wood Mulch. The cashier was polite, and an elderly Japanese man helped load the bags into my truck. However, he unexpectedly asked for a tip, which I found off-putting. Later on, I visited the Home Depot in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where I got excellent service from a friendly cashier. A young African American man then assisted me in loading the mulch without expecting a tip, contrasting the previous experience. I question whether tipping loaders is standard practice at Home Depot. Thank you for listening. Best, C.B.

I recently visited your store in Olean, New York to purchase R13. When I tried to purchase it online with the Olean store selected, I noticed that Batavia, New York was showing a price of $21.97 per roll, while Olean was charging $27.98 per roll. The store assistant mentioned that they couldn't match the $21.97 price due to company policies. I bought 12 rolls, spending more than $75 extra. Had I known beforehand, I would have driven to Batavia, even though it's an hour away from Olean. I find this situation frustrating, especially considering the distance and the difference in prices between the two stores. If one store advertises a price, all locations should honor it.

My Home Depot Commercial Credit Card was unexpectedly declined despite being a loyal and timely customer for many years. I typically pay off my balance before the statement is even generated, so this decline was puzzling. The customer service representative mentioned that a new card was supposedly mailed to me in April, and my existing card was closed a few months later. They claimed to have sent multiple alerts via email and text, but I never received any notifications. I made sure my contact information was up to date. It's frustrating that Home Depot failed to inform me about the card replacement, especially when I have always promptly paid my bills without issue. This lack of communication and abrupt cancellation of my card without proper notice is unacceptable.

Dear Customer Service, I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for more than 30 years. The majority of my home renovations have been done using products from your store. Recently, I purchased a Maytag gas dryer from Home Depot, and just two days after delivery, I noticed that it was now on sale for $30.00 less than the price I paid. When I contacted customer service to ask for the difference to be credited to my account, my request was denied without any proper explanation given. I believe this situation reflects poorly on your customer service and would appreciate it if you would reconsider and credit the $30.00 back to my account. Thank you for your understanding, R.L.
