I recently received my Pell Grant refund through Greendot, but encountered a problem when a $[redacted] ACH deposit was unexpectedly blocked. The agent I spoke to hung up on me before resolving the issue. Upon calling back, I was instructed to email certain documents without being informed which ones were needed. I plan to seek legal advice to recover my funds. Additionally, I intend to contact the corporate office regarding the unprofessional behavior of the agent who hung up on me and the misinformation provided by another employee about the deposit limit. I will escalate this matter through every appropriate channel for resolution.

I have been dealing with problems from your dispute department regarding unauthorized transactions on my debit card from October 4th and 5th, [redacted], totaling nearly $[redacted]. I have repeatedly been promised a letter explaining why my dispute was denied but have not received it despite multiple assurances. I have documented every conversation and contact with the department. I do not use ATMs and have been experiencing financial difficulties due to these unauthorized transactions. I have provided two claim/dispute numbers for your reference (SF-[redacted]6 & [redacted]7). I hope this matter can be resolved promptly as it has caused me significant stress and financial hardship.

I submitted my tax return through Turbo Tax on 2/1 and selected the Intuit Prepaid card from Greendot. After checking my account, it showed that the card was being printed and should arrive by 2/14, but it stayed stuck on that status. I contacted Greendot and was informed that it typically takes 7-10 business days and assured it would arrive by 2/19. Despite this, the card never arrived. Today, I got an email asking me to call customer service. The representatives I spoke to were unhelpful and asked for my personal details multiple times. The last representative abruptly transferred me back to the main menu and now there is a $15 charge for a new card. How can it take 27 days to send a card and then charge me for your mistake? I have reached out to the Department of Attorney General for my state and have attached my correspondence with your company. I urgently need to talk to someone about this issue as I cannot be without access to my money due to your error. I fear there may be fraud involved, and I don't want to face unnecessary hurdles to prove my identity because of your carelessness. This level of service is not acceptable.

On February 19, [redacted], I was contacted by my HR department about a direct deposit form with my name on it that I did not authorize. The bank information provided was for GreenDot Bank with routing number [redacted]20 and account number [redacted]72. The form also included a Walmart Money Card check in my name and an address that is unfamiliar to me: [redacted] Copper Cliff Dr., Bonner, MT [redacted]. I am looking to gather any available information about this account, including details about the account owner or recipient. I did not request a block on my card or report it stolen. I did not even speak to anybody or select any options. I hung up due to the 20-minute wait on hold and never got anywhere after the message about high call volume. I then called back and was informed a block had been placed on my card until I send the requested documents via email. I did not authorize this block and demand it to be removed promptly. I will seek legal counsel if this matter is not resolved within 48 hours. I have dependencies and I am in a precarious financial situation, awaiting a deposit next week, as I am facing eviction. I urgently need assistance and a competent representative to rectify this situation.

I purchased a card at Walgreens, but when I tried to enter the number, it said it was invalid. I put $50 on it, but the card wouldn't scan at the store. I am expecting three deposits to be refunded to my card, but after contacting Green Dot, I have not received proper assistance. Each time I spoke with a representative, they were unhelpful and even disconnected the call. Now, I am unable to reach a live representative and the automated system is not helping me with my refund concerns. I have documented all my transactions and will escalate this by contacting Social Security and filing a complaint against the company. I will make sure they investigate the situation thoroughly. I have all the necessary proof to support my claims.

Green Dot is requesting that I address an issue. I have called twice since 9:00, but I am the one being disconnected when asking questions. I have been put on hold for 15-20 minutes and then disconnected again. After calling a third time, now it seems like I am being avoided. Your sales representatives seem to be contradicting themselves and hanging up on me. I need someone to call me now as I am a victim of theft, specifically $[redacted].97, and I need to explain everything to a live representative. I am a cancer patient with the documents to prove it, and it feels like I am being scammed and stolen from. If this is not resolved today, I will contact Social Security with all the receipts. I am extremely frustrated and inconvenienced by the same issue happening twice in one year. When I tried to make purchases in-store, the transaction was declined due to an "incorrect pin" error, even though my pin was correct. Despite contacting customer service, the problem was not resolved. I was advised to reset my pin through the app, which I did, but it still did not work. I no longer want to use your card and plan to switch to a different one soon. It is astonishing that I cannot access my own money, making it unreliable and inconvenient. The lack of assistance from your support staff is disappointing. I have been waiting for technical support to call me for hours with no response, which is unacceptable. I purchased a Greendot card from Dollar General and loaded $50 on it. However, when I tried to register the card at home, it said it was invalid. I have the receipt from the purchase. I would like either the card to be activated or my $50 refunded. It's frustrating that I keep receiving an error message saying they can't locate my card every time I try to activate it. Since I can't get a refund at Dollar General, I'm unsure what steps to take next. I just want to be able to use the card or get my money back.

I recently purchased a Green Dot card, and I encountered technical difficulties when trying to register it on the website. The site now indicates that I have attempted too many times and locked me out for 24 hours. I urgently need access to my funds to pay for transportation home. Unfortunately, I am stranded outside, unable to get back without my money. Every customer service number I call seems to direct me to the wrong place. This situation is frustrating, and I regret choosing Green Dot instead of sticking with my Rush card, given the numerous problems I've faced. Please assist me in activating my card promptly so I can arrange for a ride home after work, especially since I cannot afford an Uber at the moment. I believe some form of compensation should be offered for the inconvenience and time wasted waiting out here in the cold. Prepaid cards are supposed to be swiftly loaded and activated, not causing a two-day delay due to website issues.

I recently had my entire paycheck deposited onto my Green Dot card, but I received an email less than a week ago regarding bank information. I've been on hold for over two hours without my facemask as I work, and I just learned that my card has been blocked. I am in urgent need of my money to buy food and cannot wait for days. I work seven days a week in ironwork and earn about $[redacted],[redacted] a year on a good year. I strongly feel that my paycheck, expected on my card yesterday, has been erroneously handled by your company. I demand the release of my funds immediately. I've sent my new address verification and driver's license to [redacted] as requested, but now I'm being told a utility bill is needed instead of documents from the Social Security office and a valid driver's license. I live at the new address with my son, but we don't have any utility bills in my name. I have requested the corporate office to call me, but so far, no one has reached out. A supervisor named Max said he set up a call with corporate, but the conversation was brief. Dealing with my income is crucial, especially since I have health concerns. I sent my new address verification and driver's license to [redacted] as requested, both from the United States Social Security office. Despite this, I was informed that I need to provide a utility bill instead. Living at my new address with my son, I do not have any utility bills in my name. Dealing with cancer, my son is caring for me. I have previously requested the corporate office to contact me, but I have not received any callbacks. Today, Supervisor Max mentioned he set up a call with corporate, but the call was brief. I urgently need corporate involvement in resolving this issue, as my income is reliant on it.

I had my tax refund deposited onto my GreenDot card and now need to make a large purchase for a vehicle. Although I was informed by customer service that I could withdraw up to $3,[redacted] a day from a bank teller, I am only able to get $[redacted] from an ATM. I am currently experiencing difficulties trying to withdraw the needed amount to acquire the vehicle. I used TurboTax last year to file my taxes and was prompted to sign up for their prepaid card. However, when I tried uploading a picture of my photo ID, I faced difficulties as the system rejected most of my attempts. Eventually, one picture was accepted, but my card or account got locked. This year again, I used TurboTax and opted for their free debit card, but now it is also locked. When I try to upload my new driver's license photo ID on the website, entering my card number yields no results. Good evening, my name is Cora Wise. On the 12th of this month, I added $[redacted] to my card at 5:47 pm. However, my balance did not show up on my phone. When I went back to the store, they advised me to wait around 20 minutes. I usually deposit money on my card without any issues. Later that night around 11:01 pm, I discovered that someone had hacked into my account. When I tried to pay my light bill, it was declined. I contacted greendot immediately to report the hacking incident. After approximately 55 minutes, they removed all unauthorized transactions related to Doubledown Casino and Google Play. Despite following the necessary steps and providing detailed information, Google claimed they never received my complaint and refused to refund the money. I operate a sitting company and can't afford to lose money like this. I have experienced similar issues in the past but chose to overlook them. However, this time, the fraudulent activity occurred soon after I added funds to my card. I demand a resolution as my hard-earned money should be protected from such fraud. I have proof from my phone records to support my claims. The lack of timely notifications and the difficulty in reaching the customer service team have added to my frustration. I implore you to investigate thoroughly and resolve this matter promptly.
