On my LG phone running Android OS, I have noticed that Google's permissions settings seem misleading. While they claim to offer choices to users, declining certain permissions, like microphone access for Google Maps, can disable essential phone functions. This tactic feels deceptive and underhanded, making it seem like we have control when, in reality, key features become unusable if certain permissions are not granted. I believe that Alphabet, Google's parent company, is using its power to push users into providing data that ultimately benefits their bottom line. To address this, I suggest that basic native apps should not require overly intrusive permissions that are not necessary for their core functions. I find it unnecessary for Google Maps to have access to my microphone to provide navigation instructions. It is disconcerting how Google prompts for unrelated permissions and restricts basic functions if these are denied. It appears more like a ploy to confuse users rather than offering genuine choices. They need to streamline their permissions process and ensure that basic functions remain accessible without compromising user privacy.

I recently received an offer for a free Samsung Galaxy 9 as a reward for being a loyal customer. Upon entering my Mastercard information to pay $1, I unexpectedly became a member of Rafadv.com. They charged my Mastercard $53.53 CAD/$35.00 USD plus taxes without my consent. I consider this fraudulent and disrespectful. I've struggled to cancel this unwanted membership and clarify the status of my free Google offer with Rafadv's unhelpful customer service. Please ensure that all previous and future charges are removed promptly, including my credit card details. I expect to receive the promised Samsung Galaxy 9 soon. I made numerous purchases to progress in the app Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire by Machine Zone, aka MZ. On April 20th, [redacted], MZ reset the game abruptly, resulting in the loss of all items and progress I had acquired. This action caused me to lose all the money invested in the game. The game became worthless, and I am seeking a refund for all expenses incurred. Recently, the developers revoked previously purchased content without informing players, rendering the items useless. This tactic misled players into buying items that were ultimately made obsolete, disregarding promises such as "lifetime boost." Despite many players receiving refunds, the developers have not addressed my request. I have exhausted all avenues to contact Google Play for a refund with no success. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have encountered an issue with a mobile game called Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire, developed by Machine Zone or MZ. On April 20th, [redacted], the game was reset by MZ without any prior notice or explanation, resulting in the loss of all the in-game progress and purchases I made. My investments in the game have now become worthless due to this unannounced reset. I would like to request a refund for all the money I have spent on the game. The game developers recently revoked previously purchased content without warning, making items that were paid for useless. I recently received three emails from Google alerting me that my email might have been compromised. I believe I changed my Google account password but not my Gmail password. Now, I am unable to send or receive emails. I've tried using the help pages with no success. When I access my email, I see a username and password box filled with asterisks and a server name box in the middle of the page. Can someone please explain in simple terms what I need to do to fix this? I can't receive emails, so contacting me through phone or text is the only way to reach me until this issue is resolved.

On January 3rd or 4th, I placed an order for a TV antenna through Google, eBay, and PayPal for $15. Then, an offer for a 3-year extended warranty popped up, costing nearly $40, which I accepted. When I checked my account on January 7th to buy work boots, I noticed that there was only $52 left out of my initial $[redacted]. I need my money refunded promptly. It has been over [redacted] days, and I have not received any communication regarding the refund from Google, PayPal, or eBay. If no action is taken soon, I will have to involve my attorney to resolve this and seek compensation for the unauthorized transactions. Hello, I am writing to seek assistance with accessing my account on a different device. Unfortunately, I have forgotten my password and when I attempt to reset it by receiving a verification code on my phone, it then requires sending a code to my recovery account, which belongs to my brother. Despite checking, no codes are being received. Furthermore, although I have enabled 2-step verification on my mobile, the process is not functioning correctly. This account holds significant importance as it contains years worth of data and personal information. I recently had my phone number changed and have been unable to receive the 2-step verification pin needed to access my accounts due to issues with my old phone number. Despite receiving recovery emails with pins, the time is off by an hour causing the codes not to work. I am concerned as this account is crucial for my important work and personal matters. I had a virus that prevented me from accessing my emails. Upon contacting Google, they instructed me to purchase $[redacted] worth of Google Play cards. I followed their instructions and provided the codes, but was then told the cards were not refundable and needed to purchase another set worth $[redacted]. Despite resolving the issue, I encountered a problem retrieving the first set of cards as they had already been redeemed. This resulted in me paying $[redacted] for a $[redacted] service, which I find unfair. I believe I should be refunded the excess charges they retained in cash.

I am a Google Calendar user, and although the birthday reminders with the pretty images are nice, many of the dates are incorrect. For example, my late mother's birthday is listed as May 4 when it should be May 3, and my son, Daniel Nardozzi, is listed as May 4 when his actual birthday is May 17. Unfortunately, I am unable to correct these dates on the birthday event page. I kindly request assistance in rectifying this issue. I hold these dates dear to my heart, given my extensive celebration of my mother's birthdays over 91 years and the memorable birth of my son, Daniel John Nardozzi, after a challenging labor. I mistakenly reported a possible unauthorized charge on my wife's Google Play account linked to the credit card ending in [redacted]. It was a valid subscription to Malwarebytes for Android phones for $12.75. However, the card got suspended. Since the card is in my name, Daniel Blais, not my wife's, Kathleen E Blais, we can't verify it to unblock. To resolve this, we need to remove the [redacted] card from Kathleen's account and replace it with her own card ending in [redacted]. To lift the suspension, I need to provide identification confirming my authorization to use the credit card linked to my account. The credit card was added to my account by my partner, and I had permission to use it. However, there was a misunderstanding when my partner disputed some charges I made without realizing the card was on my account. The bank confirmed no fraudulent activity, yet my account remains suspended. I understand the importance of handling this situation correctly to avoid losing access to my account. While my partner wants to contact Google to resolve the issue, I am concerned about the lack of oversight in the process and the potential consequences. I have attempted several times to increase my storage capacity using two different credit cards and have even scanned them, but I have been unsuccessful. After entering all the necessary information, there is no button available to submit the details. Google Photos is not recognizing faces properly for searching individuals. Despite enabling facial grouping, the feature only identified 5 faces out of thousands of photos. I find this tool very useful for organizing my extensive photo library. I've sought assistance for 3 weeks, including reaching out to Samsung experts due to having the new S10-Plus phone. The facial recognition works on other devices but not on mine, leading to frustration. I also own a Google Mini. I am unsure if I can connect more than one room to my Google Mini or if I need one for each room. Currently, the Mini in our family room operates well with all devices. Now, I am looking to extend its use to the bedroom. Can I use just one Mini for multiple rooms or do I require one for each room? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I set up an email a while back to use for a new Instagram account. Despite not using the email since, I now need it to recover my lost Instagram account. I remember the security question and recovery email I provided, both of which Google is asking for verification. The only obstacle is that I can't recall the password that I need to reset. Google repeatedly informs me that they can't verify my ownership of the account, halting any progress. I'm certain I can prove the account is mine and would appreciate guidance on how to reclaim access. It's been an issue for some time, but it's become more pressing lately. Please reevaluate my channel to verify if my videos were wrongly flagged. My videos do not contain: - "Nudity or sexual content" as stated in your reason. - "Violent or graphic content." - "Hateful content" or any hate speech. - "Threats." I have never engaged in such behavior. - "Spam/scam" content. - "Misleading metadata." I always adhere to tagging rules.
