I discovered that a Gmail address was created using my name without my consent, and it has been active for three years now. Despite numerous emails I have sent, there has been no response from the customer service team. It feels like there is a lack of security and accountability in place, akin to a Russian operation. I have not used the Gmail account that was set up without my knowledge. I am frustrated that my concerns have not been acknowledged. I am considering seeking assistance from consumer advocacy groups to take legal action against this infringement on my privacy. The issue of greed and negligence towards customer protection and security needs to be addressed in a formal setting, possibly a federal hearing. Since the beginning, I have not agreed to any terms that were presented to me. As a disabled veteran, I find this disregard for my rights as an American citizen unacceptable.

My current phone carrier, Tracfone/Straight Talk, does not support updating the Android Security Patch, which is disappointing due to both their and Google's lack of concern for this issue. As a result, I have decided to cancel my service and delete all my Google accounts. This will unfortunately be my first and last Android phone, as I have never encountered this problem with iPhones. I strongly believe that I should have control over my phone and its updates, not the carrier. Having been a long-time user of Google services, I am extremely unsatisfied with this situation. When I contacted Straight Talk about this issue, their response that "We don't know how to do it" seemed completely inadequate to me. If Google is not enforcing security patch updates with phone carriers, it indicates there may be an issue within Google as well.

The recent (August [redacted]) update to Gmail and Google Contacts has rendered Contacts unusable. The Contacts help page suggests reverting back to the old version, but the instructions are incorrect as there is no link provided to "go back to old contacts." Unfortunately, Google Contacts Help does not offer a way to report this issue to Google. It is frustrating that these updates are made without considering the significant impact on users' productivity. Additionally, the new Google Contacts version reduces the option to adjust page density, limiting the number of contacts visible on the screen. This removal of a valuable feature is counterproductive and should be reconsidered.

I lost my phone, which is the only Google-associated account I have. Despite using my login information, I am unable to sign into my account on other devices as Google insists on using my phone. I am frustrated because I can't access my Google Maps to check my timeline and find my lost phone. This poses a security risk as my banking and email information is on the phone. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 to upgrade from my flip phone with Verizon Wireless. The representative at the store failed to connect the phone number to the Google account during setup. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from Sam's Club, which is a Verizon model. While upgrading, I mistakenly placed the phone case from my old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on backward, causing the volume down and power buttons to be pressed simultaneously, leading to a factory reset. I lost my phone and am struggling to access my accounts. They are asking me to spend money, which I cannot afford, and they hang up on me. I'm having trouble using my Google Assistant on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to make calls and send texts. I recently bought it, but I haven't been able to make any calls since I got it. Even after checking at the Samsung store, I found out that no Tab S3 model supports calling through the Assistant. When I try to make a call, I receive an error saying, "Sorry, I can't make calls yet." The Tab S3 is a cellular tablet that allows actual calls through a SIM card. Thank you.

There are two websites online that are displaying quotes from my honours dissertation acknowledgements without my permission. These quotes are from a paper I published in [redacted] on edinburgh.academia.edu, where I thanked Dr. Dominic Berry for his assistance. The websites in question are slitanimation.com and nadubhghall.ie. I only noticed this when I searched my name online, and these sites came up among the search results. Although the quotes are not visible when visiting the websites directly, they are causing confusion by implying a connection between me and their services. I would like to request Google to remove these references when my name is searched to avoid any further misunderstandings.

I am the owner of the YouTube channel under the account [redacted] I initially added [redacted] as a manager but now wish to replace it with [redacted] When attempting this change from the second account, I realized I couldn't manage it from there as it isn't the account owner. I tried to sign in from the original account but had trouble due to security questions, ultimately locking myself out.
