Hello there! My daughter and I created a GoFundMe fundraiser for my best friend and her husband who are dealing with stage 4 brain cancer. Initially, GoFundMe couldn't deposit the funds into my account because it was lacking the last 4 numbers, which are from my check, not my regular account number. After resubmitting the required information and sending bank transaction copies from before and after the withdrawal date, GoFundMe's Julia Perillo asked for transactions up to 6/17-18 due to the processing time. Despite sending the additional information, we were informed that it was incorrect. We are feeling quite stressed about this situation and would appreciate any assistance. Thank you for your help!

My wife's 24-year-old sister, Kaylin Irvin, passed away unexpectedly in July [redacted]. Kaylin's best friend set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs. To expedite the process, my wife, Shelly Rowell, and I covered the expenses upfront. Shelly was listed as the beneficiary on the GoFundMe to reimburse us, but we are struggling to get a response about accessing the funds. We are concerned about a time limit for withdrawing the funds and have faced obstacles due to false claims made by an anonymous individual about Shelly's relation to Kaylin. Despite verifying all information, the funds remain inaccessible. Shelly, still grieving her sister, is emotionally drained from dealing with this issue. We are frustrated by GoFundMe's response to baseless accusations. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I set up a GoFundMe campaign weeks ago to raise money for my cousin's son's funeral. The payouts were supposed to start on July 23 and continue until July 29, but I have not received any payments. I originally had it set up to go to one bank account, but when it didn't come on July 24, I switched it to another account. Despite this, I still haven't received the $[redacted].91 of the $[redacted].00 raised. I have tried reaching out via email and messages with no response. If I don't receive the owed money by 8/4/[redacted], I will have to contact my lawyer. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me with this matter. Thank you. - RG

I have repeatedly uploaded our payment information along with our driver's licenses, but there seems to be an issue on your end. Is there an email address I can use to send you the necessary information? I need clarification on what exactly is causing the problem. The funds are for my husband's medical care, so they need to go to his account. I initially provided his details, which were rejected. Then I thought maybe my information was needed since I started the GoFundMe on his behalf, but that was also not accepted. The only other difference might be that we have both a street address ([redacted] El Dorado Lane, [redacted]) and a PO Box ([redacted], [redacted]). Could this be the source of the conflict? I need your guidance on this matter.

I am handling the funeral arrangements for my closest friend through GoFundMe. I attempted to withdraw a portion of the funds donated but did not find an option to specify the exact amount needed for her cremation. Her mother informed me that we need the money quickly as the funeral home requires the full amount immediately to proceed with the cremation. I am seeking urgent assistance on how to withdraw the funds promptly. Thank you for your help in advance. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted].

My name is Allyssa Martinez, and I created a GoFundMe for my friend and her family after a fire. Initially, we added her as the beneficiary, but she faced issues withdrawing the funds due to bank account problems. To resolve it, we replaced her bank details with mine. However, after the expected deposit date, she received an email citing incongruencies in the information. Assuming removing her GoFundMe account would solve the issue, she did so, but now she's no longer listed as the beneficiary. We've been struggling to resolve this for nearly two months, and it's crucial for them to access the funds. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I am currently working on setting up a fundraiser and have a couple of inquiries regarding "nonprofit fundraisers."
Firstly, I am interested in supporting multiple organizations but noticed I can only select one when creating my fundraising page. Is it possible to choose multiple organizations simultaneously?
Secondly, I was wondering if there is a way to include organizations that are not currently listed among the approved charities. Some of the organizations I wish to contribute to are reputable but not on the current list.
If selecting multiple organizations is not an option, should I choose the "myself or someone else" option and how can I clearly indicate that my donations are intended for nonprofits besides mentioning it in my story?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Will D.

Hello, I created a GoFundMe campaign for Jolynn Kemp and her family through PCCF Family, representing Pasadena Community Christian Fellowship (PCCF). However, I mistakenly used Jolynn's email and my own phone number. The goal was for PCCF to oversee the campaign. I later found out another member had already set up an email for PCCF with GoFundMe. I need help connecting this campaign to PCCF’s nonprofit status (EIN 26-[redacted]) and using the church's original email address. When I tried to update the email, I got an error message about it being in use. Can a representative assist in attaching the church email to the account? Thank you.

Dear Community Members,
I would like to express my appreciation for the incredible work you all do to support the community and the American people. However, I feel concerned about instances of discrimination within the company despite all the positive efforts. The BLM movement, in my opinion, does not address the issue of racism effectively and promotes anti-American ideologies. I urge you to look into the nature of their beliefs and actions. I believe that fair treatment and equal opportunities should be given to all groups, including those supporting Kyle Rittenhouse. Let's strive for inclusivity and fairness in all campaigns.
Best regards

I recently noticed a charge of $[redacted].50 on my bank statement from GoFundMe for a campaign called "Unos Pasos para Redwood City." I did some research and found out it's related to California and there are multiple campaigns on GoFundMe with similar names. I never authorized this payment and contacted my bank, who suggested I get in touch with GoFundMe to cancel the charge and remove my debit card information to prevent any further issues. It would be greatly appreciated if you could assist me with this on your end. Thank you.

On August 21, [redacted], I donated $2,[redacted].00 USD for "Achilles the Rottweiler." After making the donation, I received an email confirmation with the details. However, shortly after, my donation was removed. Despite my bank approving the payment, Celina Ortiz did not receive the funds. I contacted GoFundMe, and Alexis responded stating that my bank rejected the donation, which is not the case. I urge GoFundMe to resolve this promptly by either sending the donation to Celina Ortiz or refunding my account. My name is María Aurora López González, and I kindly request a swift resolution to this matter. Gracias.

A GoFundMe account was established by a friend for my son's funeral on May 1st with leftover funds intended for my grandchild's trust. Due to COVID-19 and family tragedies, we couldn't set up the trust yet. Now GoFundMe is refunding donations, and we prefer to keep the funds safe with them for now. I'm trying to access the account under Michael Brandon Hasting aka Beezy, even though my name is misspelled as Billy Jean Bogard. I am unable to recall the password I provided when the account was created, and I have not received any emails from GoFundMe.

I initiated a GoFundMe account during my daughter's hospitalization. In one day, the account collected $[redacted], with my son-in-law refusing to leave his ailing wife's side. I was asked by my daughter to designate Monica J. as a beneficiary. On 8/7, my son-in-law pressured me until I allowed his mother to withdraw the funds, which amounted to $[redacted] expiring on 8/15. Sadly, on 8/15, my daughter passed away, but neither my son-in-law nor Monica J. contributed to the funeral costs. I had to cover $[redacted] from my own funds. Following my daughter's passing, I altered the account to cover burial expenses and establish a trust for her three children. Despite spending nearly $[redacted] on flowers and funeral attire for my daughter and grandchildren, I only received $[redacted] of the $[redacted] raised. I am still owed $[redacted].43, having reached out numerous times with receipts. The funeral was not as planned, and we even had to fix the sunken grave ourselves. Monica J. withdrew all the funds and has been uncooperative with providing receipts, causing distress as vital funds were misallocated. I have now sought legal assistance after unsuccessful attempts to communicate with GoFundMe staff, who have been unresponsive to my situation. This campaign was created to honor my daughter and secure her final rest, a cause that remains unfulfilled, leaving me deeply saddened.

Recently, I've been encountering issues when trying to donate to GoFundMe campaigns. Over the weekend, I started receiving an error message stating, "There was an error with your request, please verify your information and try again," regardless of the credit card used.
I have verified that all information is correct, and I can confirm that the credit cards are valid. Despite this, the issue persists.
Could someone please assist me in determining the cause of this error and advise on what steps to take to rectify the situation?

I received an email from Gofundme stating that my account was closed due to a complaint regarding my last campaign. Unfortunately, their messages went unnoticed as they landed in my spam folder, and by the time I saw them, the campaign had ended, and the funds were already sent to my late best friend's family. Despite my attempts to reach out to their support team via email, I only received a response saying "account removed" with a ticket number. I urgently need to start a new campaign for my partner, who is currently hospitalized with a broken neck. Gofundme does not provide a customer service number, and their help desk options do not address my specific issue. Is there a way to resolve this matter and create a new account for a new campaign?

I reached out via email on 9/9/[redacted] regarding a GoFundMe ticket under #[redacted]. My concern was that the organizer may have been misusing funds by diverting them to her own account. After contact with Daniel and then escalation to specialist Kaity, I was directed to file a claim through a provided link. Subsequently, the organizer has compromised my email, removing all related communication. I seek guidance from the escalations team on how to address this issue. The fundraiser's associated email is [redacted] I have already changed the password and removed the unauthorized access device from my account.

I created a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for my sister's cancer care expenses. Fortunately, we quickly met our fundraising goal, so we closed the campaign to further donations. The issue arose when the last two deposits, which had specific dates for disbursement, were not received. I complied with the requested documents such as providing my bank statement and driver's license, yet the deposits were still pending. The discrepancy might be due to my married last name being listed on the GoFundMe account while my bank account reflects my maiden name. Although the first three deposits were successful despite this difference. Could this be causing the delay now? I'm contemplating changing the deposit account to our joint account, which bears my husband's name along with my married last name. Would this adjustment expedite the process of receiving the outstanding funds?

I noticed that there is a GoFundMe page set up for the Midwest Fundamentalist Conference, linked to the New IFB group. This organization has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center for promoting violence and harm towards LGBTQ+ individuals. According to GoFundMe's Terms and Conditions, users are not allowed to support hate, violence, or discrimination of any kind based on sexual orientation or gender identity, which directly contradicts the actions of this group. The New IFB has hosted events like the "Make America Straight Conference" and even celebrated tragic events like the Pulse Nightclub shooting. It is concerning that GoFundMe would permit donations to be collected for this group, knowing their harmful ideology.

I received an email from you regarding Stacy's situation. I had recently been on GoFundMe thanking a donor for their contribution. Stacy is in urgent need of assistance, but the fundraising account has disappeared. I provided images of her condition and we were planning to take her to the vet today. However, the funds seem to be inaccessible now. I am struggling to reach the organizers at Facebook for the fundraiser. Stacy is in dire need of medical supplies, and the funds raised are meant for that. It seems her friend may have mishandled the funds. Please advise on how to contact Facebook and reinstate the fundraiser efficiently to aid Stacy's treatment.
