I recently closed my GoFundMe campaign and received an email confirming the funds had been transferred to my bank account. However, after checking my bank statement, I have not seen the $[redacted].00 donation reflected yet. The fundraiser was for my brother, who is receiving treatment for esophageal cancer in Bangkok. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Hello,
I have struggled with your support for over a month trying to reset my password for a GoFundMe campaign for a client who is autistic. There seems to be a system glitch preventing me from resetting my password, creating a frustrating loop. I urgently need this matter resolved to ensure that the funds intended for this client can be accessed promptly. Despite contacting customer support and being informed that my password was reset, I have not been able to proceed as directed.
Whenever I attempt to reset my password by clicking on the "forgot password" link, the email link provided only directs me back to the sign-in page without offering an option to reset my password. The situation is escalating as I received a notice threatening to relocate the funds from the client if I fail to set up a WePay account. This threat is unjust as it is the system's fault hindering the password change. If this issue is not resolved, I will have to inform the client's parents about seeking legal counsel due to the persistent lack of action on this matter.
Please address this issue promptly so that I can support the client's art exhibit with the necessary funds.
Thank you,
T.M.

Dear community members,
I wanted to share that a friend of mine set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for my alpaca's eye surgery. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing difficulty accessing the campaign and browsing other campaigns due to technical issues. It seems like the page keeps loading endlessly, making it hard to verify my email or view the content.
I believe GoFundMe has been instrumental in helping many individuals, and I appreciate the platform's purpose. However, I wish there was a more direct and seamless way to seek assistance. While caring for my alpaca, I find myself with less time to navigate these challenges and wonder if kind-hearted donors have come across our story.
Thank you for providing a space where those in need can connect with compassionate helpers. I hope that in the future, the platform can operate more efficiently for everyone involved. Here's to many more successful years for GoFundMe and best wishes for the year ahead.
Best regards,
Karen L.

Hello, I think there might be an issue with my campaign. I've been attempting to withdraw donations to send over to my mom swiftly. Unfortunately, every time I complete the required information, an error message pops up. I can provide additional details promptly if necessary. I'm simply curious about why this is happening as I've verified multiple times that all the information I entered is accurate.

I recently joined GoFundMe through Facebook, but I'm facing an issue as my computer automatically logs into Facebook, and I am unsure of my login details. I decided to update my email and password on Facebook after creating my GoFundMe account. However, I'm worried that if I sign out of GoFundMe, I may not be able to log back in, especially because I have already started raising funds. I'm unable to change my GoFundMe password since the email linked to my Facebook account is outdated, and I no longer have access to it. I'm unable to update my email without knowing the current Facebook password, which I have changed. I'm at a loss on what steps to take next.

I'm Laura F. Lori and Michelle Wentworth selected me as the beneficiary of the Miracle for Maggie initiative. When I attempted to make a withdrawal, the system accepted my routing number but not my bank account number. After confirming the details with my bank, I tried again but now I'm locked out of the system without an option to reset. I've asked Lori and Michelle to withdraw the funds on my behalf, but as the designated beneficiary, there might be limitations. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I appreciate the assistance! Recently, a friend initiated a GoFundMe initiative to aid in covering the expenses for my brain surgery and stage 4 brain tumor treatments. Medical facilities are requesting my bank statements from September and November. September represents my last month working full-time before surgery, and November is my first month post-surgery and back to work.
However, the funds received from WePay via GoFundMe in November are reflecting on my bank records as regular income, which is not the case. I am seeking a notarized document from GetHuman and GoFundMe affirming that the WePay transfers to my account were donations from the GoFundMe effort, not part of my usual salary. Without this clarification, the clinics might assume my income for November was $13,[redacted].00, leading to a miscalculation pegging my yearly income at $[redacted],[redacted].00. This error could impact my financial aid application significantly, contrary to the initial intent of my compassionate friends and family.

Yesterday, I made a donation to my friend on Facebook through GoFundMe. The amount was withdrawn from my bank account within a minute, but it hasn't shown up in his account yet. I would like a quick refund so I can give him the money in cash instead. This fundraising experience has been disappointing, especially since there is no phone number for customer support. Despite being the first to donate, my contribution hasn't been registered, unlike others who have donated. It's frustrating that the money was deducted promptly from my account but hasn't reached him. Kindly return the funds to my account promptly.

I donated $[redacted] to my friend's GoFundMe, "Sierra's battle Against Cancer." My bank statement shows two withdrawals of $[redacted] each, one from GoFundMe and one from a collection agency called WePay. I did not authorize these transactions, and I will cancel both donations if necessary as this is fraudulent. Please contact me promptly. Thank you. - W. Tibbo

Hello GoFundMe Team,
I am writing to address a situation with the GoFundMe account set up by my aunt on behalf of my family. Originally, the fundraiser was created to assist with expenses related to our baby being on life support, with a goal of $[redacted]. Unfortunately, our baby has passed away, and the fundraising goal was increased to $[redacted] for funeral expenses. Currently, there seems to be a misunderstanding with my aunt, who is holding onto $[redacted] from the account and is requesting invoices for the expenses.
I am feeling overwhelmed and confused by the situation, as we are in need of the funds for funeral arrangements and to move forward. There have been disagreements within the family, and I am unsure of the next steps. If you could clarify the process regarding the disbursement of funds and the need for invoices, it would greatly help us during this difficult time.
Thank you.

I provided my bank account information as requested. I was informed that the money would be deposited within 48 hours. However, I received an email stating there were issues with the deposit process, and I have not received any further updates regarding the fundraiser funds. It has been a month since I originally provided my information. I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed to ensure the money is deposited into my account. Should I share my account details again, or is there another step I need to take? Thank you.

I attempted to resolve this through your online system, but it keeps indicating a failure. The account was originally created to gather Campaign expenses for Bucks Buoys, my husband's team currently participating in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. I received an email requesting verification, which I followed, but subsequent withdrawal setup emails reported failures. I provided the Bucks Buoys bank statement, noting the account is in Bucks Buoys' name, not mine (Sara Luff). I am a signatory along with Paul Smith, whose address is on the statement. If necessary, I can obtain bank confirmation of my signatory status. I have tried reaching out through email messages, receiving the same withdrawal setup notifications. As the deadline from Gofundme approaches, I am eager for a human response and resolution. Please reach out to me promptly. Kind regards, Sara Luff, for Bucks Buoys.

I've encountered issues when trying to withdraw my GoFundMe funds. Every time I attempt to withdraw, I receive a validation error message. Additionally, when attempting to invite a beneficiary, I encounter errors as well. Initially, there was a successful withdrawal, but I later received an email stating that the bank returned the funds to my GoFundMe balance due to an error. I would appreciate assistance either in successfully providing my bank details for withdrawal without any problems or in inviting a beneficiary without any errors.

Hello,
I recently tried to withdraw funds and close the campaign "Atalie Christmas [redacted]." The process was more confusing than expected. Initially, I selected to deactivate the campaign and withdraw, entered my bank information, and thought everything was okay. However, upon returning to the campaign page, there was no indication that the campaign had been deactivated. I tried deactivating it again, and now it seems deactivated, but there's no confirmation that the funds are being withdrawn. Moreover, it seems that once a campaign is deactivated, the creator can no longer access it, which adds to the confusion.
Now, I'm reaching out to make sure the funds are indeed set to be withdrawn as I need to convert them into a physical Christmas gift today.
Thank you.

I am having difficulties setting up withdrawals. Despite entering all the required details and uploading my Driver's license several times, I receive a message prompting me to verify personal and bank information by December 30, [redacted], to continue accepting donations. My husband's surgery is scheduled for January 8, and I urgently need these funds for the hospital expenses. Even after updating the information today, the withdrawal date is set for January 6, which concerns me. It has been 27 days since the first donation, and if this isn't resolved promptly, I will face challenges paying for his surgery. The email addresses "[redacted]" and "[redacted]" appear to be unattended, which is frustrating as I have only received automated responses. Your immediate assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jo Naughton.

A friend of mine, Carter, has started a campaign but is facing challenges withdrawing the funds intended for donations. His financial advisor, Jaona, is also experiencing difficulties with the process, causing heightened stress. Carter's donors are expressing frustration due to uncertainty about the funds' destination. Assistance is needed to resolve this matter promptly and ensure the donated money reaches its intended recipients.

I created a GoFundMe campaign yesterday to support my sister, who was tragically murdered. Today, I decided to deactivate the campaign for personal reasons. I am reaching out to inquire about the process for refunding the donations to those who contributed. The funds were still on the platform when I deactivated it. Please remove my sister's picture from the page. We are seeking assistance from the state for her burial, and we were advised that having the GoFundMe campaign could impact this help. Therefore, I want to ensure that the donations are returned and the page is taken down. Thank you.

I have encountered issues with accessing my Facebook account, prompting me to create multiple accounts. Unfortunately, one of my accounts was mistakenly deactivated, which led to a donation of $20. I wish to continue my campaign but need to update the story, yet my campaign page is not visible on Facebook. Despite contacting Philly and Meghan from GoFund, I have not received sufficient assistance. Feeling frustrated, I have been trying to resolve this since Friday at 8 pm with no luck. I would appreciate a phone call for support at [redacted] as I have multiple email addresses.

I am concerned about the GoFundMe page my mother set up for me linked to her bank account. I am starting college on January 13th, [redacted], to pursue my associate's degree in IT support and cybersecurity, but I do not have a computer for school. I have created my own GoFundMe page to raise money for this purpose. I am looking for guidance on how to take down her page to ensure the donations are directed to my own fundraiser. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

After filing a complaint, I received only an automated response regarding the issue. The individuals I reported are exploiting our family name and my grandson's passing to benefit themselves, marginalizing my son, the rightful father and primary caregiver, in the process. They are falsely presenting the mother's boyfriend as the father instead.
This matter is not solely about monetary gain but about safeguarding our family's reputation. I am seeking clarification, yet I am met with silence. Requesting information on the contributors to the fund, as suggested, seems impractical, as identifying them is virtually impossible. Such conduct reflects poorly on your business and demonstrates insensitivity by profiting from the tragic loss of a child we nurtured since birth.
