I preordered Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 and bought a used copy of Life is Strange in-store on July 26. I paid in full, and my card was charged $53.85 on 07/27/[redacted]. I declined a receipt due to covid precautions. The store was meant to call me when my game arrived, but they didn't. When I called, they had sold my game. They promised to call with a new shipment but never did. In September, they couldn't access my receipt, advising me to contact customer service. Despite trying to call, I can't reach a person. I need a record of my order for a refund or to receive the game I purchased.

I placed an order for a Christmas gift in early December with the expectation of it arriving before Christmas. Unfortunately, the delivery was severely delayed, causing frustration and inconvenience. Despite the package being in close proximity, the shipping updates were erratic and unhelpful. In contrast, orders from other retailers arrived well before the holidays. I had to purchase the item elsewhere to ensure it reached its destination on time. I am inquiring about the one-year replacement warranty I bought for my PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, my console has recently failed, and I am unable to locate any details on how to utilize the warranty. I have not received any physical mail or email regarding this warranty, even though it was supposed to be shipped separately. I visited your store on US-19 in Spring Hill, Florida yesterday. Upon entering, I noticed the store manager and a woman, possibly his girlfriend (not in employee attire), engaged in conversation, neglecting to greet me properly. When I brought items to the counter, neither game was available as they had been sold earlier. It was disappointing to see the game box back on display if the game wasn't in stock. This type of customer service is disheartening, especially as a repeat customer. I am considering discontinuing my patronage at GameStop. Please close my credit card account and rewards membership. I hope for a change in management at this store to enhance customer experiences.

I recently purchased a $20 GameStop gift card to use on the official GameStop website. I then used it to buy a $20 Xbox gift card, which was sent to my email. However, when I tried to redeem the Xbox code on the Microsoft website, I received an error message stating that it had already been redeemed. I am frustrated because I did not redeem the code myself, and I suspect there was an issue with the code provided by GameStop. I would like a resolution by either getting a refund of $20 back to my GameStop account or receiving a new $20 Xbox card code that has not been redeemed.

Unfortunately, I'm unsure whom to address this message to, so I hope it can reach the right person. I am monitoring the stock market situation from Prague. I urge you to consider taking action or openly discussing the situation to show activity. Many individuals, including those who are unemployed, have invested their savings in stocks to support GameStop. There are also students and others who believe that participating can change stock market history. I believe that the information circulating worldwide is inadequate and inaccurate. From what I understand, only a few individuals in the Czech Republic and Italy truly understand the situation. You have the power to inform and unite everyone against multinational corporations. By coming together, you can not only save yourselves (and enjoy popcorn in the process) but also make a meaningful impact by reshaping economic rules. I purchased an item for my son's birthday with expedited shipping, but it hasn't been shipped yet. Initially, the delivery date was today, then changed to tomorrow, and now it's saying awaiting FedEx pickup with a new arrival date of Friday. I am beyond frustrated as I have received no response to my emails and was disconnected after being on hold for a long time with customer service. I have been a loyal customer, even signed up for the pro membership, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. I placed an order in December that I still haven't received in February. They informed me they canceled my order, but I never got my refund of $70, which I paid with a trade-in gift card from my PS4. I've reported this to the BBB. The purchase was for my 4-year-old son's birthday, and Gamestop keeps giving me excuses instead of a refund. My name is Bob W. Our GameStop account number is [redacted], and we reside at [redacted] Woodmont Cir., Sewell, NJ [redacted]. We have been attempting to resolve an issue with GameStop without success. On 1/31/[redacted], our son traded in an Xbox and PS4 at the Turnersville NJ store. The manager, Jon ([redacted]), couldn't provide cash due to register limits, so he issued a check, number [redacted], for $[redacted]. After depositing the check, our bank informed us that GameStop had stopped payment. Despite visiting the store and contacting customer service, our problem remains unresolved. Jon was unavailable on 2/25, but Allison assisted us and talked to customer service with no follow-up. As long-standing customers who have spent thousands at GameStop, we are disappointed and confused about the situation with our equipment and payment.

Hello GameStop team, I wanted to share a recent experience I had with your return policy regarding a purchase I made. I bought Werewolf the Apocalypse at one of your stores, thinking it was for my XBOX Series X, not realizing it was for XBOX One. When I returned it because it was not what I expected, I was offered only $22 for the game. While I understand your policy treats opened new games as used, I feel frustrated as I was not aware I was buying the XBOX One version. As a long-time customer since the Electronics Boutique days, I feel disappointed and undervalued in this situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Mortal Kombat Ultimate for PlayStation 5. It was delivered without any issues. However, after checking the product description on the GameStop website, it mentioned that the game includes the complete 37-character roster, new additions Rain, Mileena, & Rambo, as well as extra cosmetics and stages. Despite this, I haven't received everything as described. Reddit users suggested there should be codes in the case to redeem the additional content, but as a pre-owned copy, I suspect the codes were already used. Another commenter mentioned that the characters should be included in the ultimate edition for the PS5 version, but even though my game label says MK11 Ultimate, the characters are missing. Whenever I try to select one, it directs me to the PlayStation store to purchase the character packs. I hope this situation can be resolved.

I placed an order for a video game in mid-March during the tax day sale, expecting it to ship in 1-2 weeks. However, the shipping kept getting delayed, and now it just says "Awaiting carrier pickup." I will be leaving soon and if it doesn't arrive by then, I'd like to cancel it. I reached out to customer service, but even though they said they expedited the shipping and I would receive further instructions within 24 hours, it's been over 48 hours without any email. I used a gift card to purchase a gift for J. M. Keynton on May 9, [redacted]. Order #[redacted][redacted], totaling $63.93, including tax. I had the game shipped to his home as a gift, but never received a confirmation email. After reaching out to GameStop Customer Service, I was informed the order was still processing. Later, I ordered the same game for my son using the same gift card. I added more funds for his Xbox 1 (MLB Show 21) with my credit card. I received confirmation and it was shipped. When checking the status of the remaining game with Customer Service, I was told it was out of stock for PS4. They mentioned refunding the amount on a gift card within 24-48 hours. As of Sunday, May 16, [redacted], I haven't received the gift card and I'm worried it was sent to the recipient instead of me. I need the gift card sent to my email to purchase MLB SHOW 21 for PS4 at the store. Multiple inaccuracies have occurred regarding stock and refund procedures. I urgently need this rectified to obtain the gift for the young man with special needs. The gift card balance is $63.96, with the last 4 digits being [redacted]. I'm disappointed with how this was handled and require a prompt resolution.

I am attempting to secure a refund for a credit card transaction. My elderly mother's credit card was unlawfully used, prompting us to obtain a new card from the bank with a different number. On March 14, [redacted], a charge of $[redacted].01 occurred at Store #[redacted] in Astoria, NY, which is improbable as my 91-year-old bedridden mother, who receives 24/7 in-home nursing care, could not have made the purchase. She lacks gaming systems or a computer. I am dissatisfied with GameStop's customer service as they claim there is no record of the transaction, possibly mistaking it for an online purchase. They advised me to visit the store, but I reside far away, and the store does not answer their phone, which is troubling for a business.

I forgot to update my Power Up Rewards account details, causing my recent order to be delivered to my old address associated with the account. Despite trying to rectify it by contacting GameStop and FedEx, I faced a loop of being redirected back and forth between the two, without a clear solution. I reached out to the regular FedEx customer service line and even Klarna, the payment service I used, only to receive the same instruction to contact the shipper. Frustratingly, everyone I spoke to reiterated the same message, leaving me unsure how to intercept the package and have it held for me. The experience has been confusing and unhelpful, with each party pointing me back in circles without providing a concrete resolution.

I pre-ordered a game about two weeks ago, and it has been out for a week now, but I haven't received any information about my order. The only updates I've received were through direct messages on Twitter with their customer service. They mentioned that weather delays have affected shipments. I reached out to a district manager who seemed unaware of the situation. I shared this information with the store manager who was also surprised by the lack of communication. I expressed that clear communication from the company would have prevented this issue. I am still waiting for a definite answer on when my pre-ordered item will arrive, as vague updates from the DM and the manager's daily checks show no progress in the shipment.

I recently bought an Oculus Quest 2 from a GameStop store for my son's birthday. Unfortunately, when we opened it at home, it seemed used with a worn-out headpiece, scratched hand remotes, and cracked front camera lenses. My son hasn't been able to enjoy his gift at all.
